I answered this at the original site...very interesting!
One nostril at a time, and not very noisy unless I have a corker of a cold and the nose is not cooperating quietly.
However, I am a preschool special education teacher and we many times are working on that skill and kids don't have that finesse - so we are happy ANY way they do it! Cathy
