2742 Muslims first, Brits second?
News reports are focusing on this idea because of the plane plots. What's the big deal? Most Christians I know would (or should) say "Christians first, Americans second." It's Biblical. Most religions promote a higher calling than the geography of your birth.
When the Pharisees tried to catch Jesus with this very predicament, He said to "render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar's and to God the things that are God's." I would take that to mean that I should be able to put my religious beliefs first, without causing a conflict with my duty to my country.
