I would toss football player Colin Kaepernick into that pile, although he's not a billionaire—only a millionaire. Instead of maligning Betsy Ross, a female seamstress who actually worked with her hands, he could fund homeless shelters or support soup kitchens for those who can't or won't work. He’ll even get a tax deduction.

NFL role model Warrick Dunn

Warrick Dunn explained  why he started working to help families like Watson’s make a better life for themselves.

Some awards are just appeals for sales

GQ, a magazine that is aimed at the "metrosexual" narcissistic male, has awarded Colin Kaepernick "Citizen of the Year" award.  Who knew a fashion rag had so much political savvy?

Some magazines will do anything to attract advertising. Founded in 1931 it is a fashion magazine promoting metrosexuality for "narcissistic young men sporting fashionable clothes and accessories." It shows men wearing clothes and women mostly not wearing them. There is a Russian edition. Hmmm.

Interesting that Ben Carson, who grew up poor, in the projects with a single mom who couldn’t read, is now called “not a typical black man,” but Colin Kaepernick, who has 3 white parents, a white girlfriend, private schools and scholarships, and wealth in the millions,  is supposed to have the scoop on what it means to be a minority male.

Boycotting Grey's Anatomy and NFL games which I never watched anyway!

Ellen Pompeo says she doesn't want Trump voters to watch her show, the popular and over rated Grey's Anatomy. She hasn't aged out of any influence on that show (14 seasons and she's almost 50--worth over $30 million), so gen-xers are sticking by her. She also used a lot of profanity in kicking her supporters and fans off the train.  I didn't know the show was still chugging along, since I've only seen it occasionally in reruns. She always looks like an angry frump--plays to type. With her political views, and if she were a real doctor, I'd be terrified to have her near me. So self important. And then there's the NFL millionaire jokers who disrespect the flag and national anthem, a publicity stunt begun by the ungrateful Colin Kaepernick (3 white parents, white Muslim hot girlfriend, bad stats). So darn it, can't even watch football!   Filthy rich people who've never read the Constitution.  What would we do without their telling us what to think and where to go?

When I Googled "Ellen Pompeo wants a boycott" I see she's done this before for other shows she doesn't like usually for presenting ideas that conflict with her personal far left views (why do TV and movie celeb-millionaires who read other people's words for a living have such missionary zeal for Communism?) But by telling Trump voters to not watch her show seems counter productive if she wants a platform.

Colin Kaepernick, Free Agent

Let us not forget the personal anguish experienced by professional activist Colin Kaepernick and the rampant institutional racial discrimination in America that caused it. The list includes:

1. He has a white birth mother and a black biological father, making him bi-racial, not black.

2. He was adopted by a white, middle class couple.

3. His white adoptive parents made it possible for him to go to college, where he starred in football4. He was drafted by the racist NFL.

5. He signed a $126 million contract that stipulates his pay goes down if his level of play goes down.

6. His level of play declined and he was benched, consequently, his salary went down.

7. He publicly protested the institutional racism demonstrated by items #1-6 by kneeling on the sidelines during the national anthem at NFL games.

8. He and his radical girlfriend made inflammatory statements about his "plight" and how his problems are white America's fault.

9. He becomes a free agent and continues his radicalism.

10. He goes to Ghana to "find his roots" even though his roots are in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and Turlock, California.

11. No NFL team wants to touch an average backup with an attitude issue who had one good year as a starter.

Such is the sad saga of racial discrimination of a bi-racial, millionaire athlete who, because of America, had the chance 99.9% of the rest of America never will and apparently blew it.

Colin looks for his roots

According to a news source, Colin Kaepernick is on a search for his African heritage, beginning in Ghana,  the hell on earth of the cross Atlantic slave trade of the 18^th century.  Millions search for their roots, and I hope he finds something that meets this hunger. But if it’s slavery he’s interested in he’ll need to investigate where and how it started—in the mists of ancient history as slavery was a worldwide economic system and still remains today, larger than the 18^th century.  Some sources say 27 million in the 21^st century, but no one has an exact count. More Africans have died from environmentalists allowing malaria to resurge than ever died in the Atlantic slave trade.  Perhaps some of the products his wealth allows him were created, mined, guarded or produced by 21^st century slaves. Maybe his latest manicure and massage were performed by a female slave from Asia, and he ignored the signs, or some of the  fun after the NFL games he’s enjoyed was provided by a sex slave. He’ll need to go back in history and look at the Arab Muslims, Portuguese, Spaniards, English, and Dutch investors and the African tribal leaders who captured and sold them, and the substantial number of free black Americans in the 19^th century who also owned slaves.

An immigrant addresses Colin Kaepernick and buddies

An immigrant addresses the disrespect of some of our athletes and celebrities:

"I am a first generation Naturalized American who was born in India. I am neither white (without white privilege), nor black or Hispanic (not a victim either), I am just a person who came to a land of opportunity with a dream. I have traveled some in this world and to the best of my knowledge I have not known of any other country where some of the people desecrate their flag, disavow their National Anthem or tear down their own country. If I am wrong please straighten me out. BUT if I am right, then please address how do we expect any other country to respect ours when we (under the “excuse” of freedom of speech) do not respect it ourselves."

When I became a U.S. citizen, I took an oath denouncing my allegiance to my old country and even agreed to take up arms against my former country if asked to by the USA. Please check the verbiage of the oath these days, but do oaths mean nothing anymore?

Just like family, we may not always agree with our parents or siblings but we do not insult or degrade them in public (at least I don’t think they should).

I have three comments for your consideration:
1) If they (the desecrators) dislike our country so much then by the same freedoms that are granted to us through our constitution and bill of rights they are free to denounce their citizenship and go embrace and live in a country that they think is better than ours. They are free to run and embrace that country’s flag and anthem, but I am sorry I would appreciate them not doing it on our soil. In America fly the American flag with pride and no other!!!

2) Every immigrant like myself that came here to this wonderful land of opportunity seeking a better future, should leave the policies, laws, traditions and attitudes of their former countries behind and assimilate into our culture, traditions, language, laws and attitudes. After all if their old country’s ideas, policies, traditions and laws were so good then why did they leave and come here in the first place? Go home!

3) I believe immigrants come here either because they admire us and the opportunities we offer or to rape and abuse our country for all that they can pillage. I am sorry but we must block the latter kind. I believe that Mr. Trump has the right idea. As for those who were born in this country, wow, what can I say? They were blessed to be born into opportunity but many unfortunately could not admire the beauty of the forest because they were blinded by the tree in front of them.

Colin Kaepernick sit upon protest

Colin Kaepernick didn't start this disrespect in the NFL, but he has grabbed the attention of other wannabes when they saw how easy it was to get on national TV and social media even with low stats and a floundering career. Even the president took notice.  And I've read (not fact checked) that he's converted to Islam for his #blacklivesmatter girlfriend. Interesting. For over 1,400 years Arab Muslims controlled the world slave trade and traded captured black Africans to Europeans for the trans-Atlantic horrors and sent millions of others to Europe and Asia. Women particularly were trafficked for sex before the 18th century when focus changed to labor, even as today Islamic Boko Haram steals Nigerian Christian school girls for sex and politics. Fewer than 97% of their captives made it to the North American colonies and the trade was outlawed by the Constitution within 25 years of the U.S. becoming a country. Colin Kaepernick has a white birthmother, white adoptive parents, and with nature and nuture gifting him every advantage in a country where the sky's the limit he is an NFL millionaire several times over.  The only guy missing in his internet bio is the sperm donor, so guess who he's identifying with. His career was faltering with injuries and poor stats, so last week he decided he was just too tired to stand for the national anthem with his non-millionaire team mates on the 49-ers, and instead would become rejuvenated and rebranded with the #blacklivesmatter thugs.
