The world sees him for what he is, a good looking story teller with no substance and no experience who can excite the crowds, and now that he isn't soaring in the polls, it's because McCain is taking the low road? He had all the press all the time, all over Europe and the mid-east, and McCain gets snarky about his celebrity status, and now Gergen is panicked.
