More racist schools in Fairfax Co. or more sites of hidden documents?

Today on Bruce Hooley's show (98.5 FM Columbus) he was taking bets (not for real) on which numbers will increase faster--the number of schools in Fairfax Co. (DC) involved in the racist equity scandal (now up to 17), or the number of documents (now over 20?) and sites (is it 4 or 5) involved in Joe Biden's scandal. Either way, you know Democrats are involved at every step of the way. They are brushing off all their Jim Crow methods of the past.

The worst scandal, of course, is how the FBI and the media are treating two document situations, one far more serious than the other. Trump had a right to the documents and Biden didn't. Biden had his for 6 years in a variety of places not secured with one place paid for by the Chinese, the other in a house with his druggie son. What could possibly go wrong. The FBI raided Mar a Lago, but they are allowing Biden's lawyers to use kid gloves and blind folds to find and report is.

75% of the students cheated out of their merit scholarship reporting on college applications were Asian American. I'm betting not a one was Hispanic or Black.

Did Obama take 30 million documents?

The headlines of the anti-Trump fact checkers are that Trump lied about Obama taking 30 million documents with him when he left the WH. But when you read the article it says yes, Obama took tens of thousands of documents to Chicago, BUT they go on to say they then went to possession of federal government archives after sorting to be digitized and made available to the public. In other words, Trump was right again and this is a word war with fact checkers. Really, you can't trust these checkers whether in print on paper or pixels on your screens. Has anyone seen or used digitized Obama papers taken from WH? It has been 6 years. Are they redacted? Do they exist? That's your assignment.

The Obama Foundation says the Archives control 1.5 Billion Obama pages--but those are the "born digital" documents. He couldn't have removed them even if he tried. It goes on to say there are 30 million paper documents he took which WILL Be digitized. I saw no way to get into this data dump. It's like a library hit by a tornado if they are even there. If you use the timeline and go to "Afghanistan trip" I found 3 photos probably available on the internet and easier to use. No pdf or e-mail trace. No scanned hard copies. This library is either a hoax or has only hired the janitor. 6 years.

Old tapes stored in Bill Clinton's sock drawer may have a impact on the MAL case. Old Case Over What Bill Clinton Hid in His Sock Drawer Could Unravel FBI's Mar-a-Lago Raid (westernjournal.com) U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson in Washington D.C. ultimately rejected Judicial Watch's suit by concluding there was no provision in the Presidential Records Act to force the National Archives to seize records from a former president.

UALC first vote to leave ELCA

At the special congregational meeting on Sunday, June 13, the resolution to leave the ELCA was passed with a 91.8% majority, 538 to 48.

This begins a 90 day consultation period, ending in a second vote in the fall. For more background on the ELCA decision, visit the ELCA Decision page by clicking here (numerous documents, both from UALC and ELCA).

There were many well considered and thoughtful comments during the time of public discussion of the motion. After discussion we moved to the sanctuary for prayer, singing and the vote.

Update: If you stumbled in here and are confused by the acronyms, this is a discussion about Lutherans. UALC is Upper Arlington Lutheran Church, founded in the Columbus suburb of Upper Arlington, Ohio about 55 years ago. It has 3 campuses and 9 Sunday services. Although it started in Upper Arlington, it now also has a campus in Hilliard, Ohio, and Columbus, Ohio. The church was planted, I think, by members of Holy Trinity Lutheran in Upper Arlington, and why they couldn't think of a pretty name like theirs, I don't know. ELCA is the name of the synod, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America created in 1988 by the merger of The American Lutheran Church (ALC of which UALC was a member), The Association of Evangelical Lutheran Churches, and The Lutheran Church in America (LCA). There are even more acronyms ahead, as we move toward new relationships with other Lutheran groups, like CORE and NALC.

Update: I had the history of the congregation wrong. Here's the story. "As I understand the story there was a group from St. John's [Grove City] who settled in the newly-developing area of Upper Arlington. The ALC thought it would be a good mission, (I guess Trinity was LCA) so they called a pastor, started meeting in a basement, moved to Hastings Jr. High auditorium, bought land at the corner of Lane & McCoy - I think - somewhere around there. There was a moratorium on churches in UA, but when that was lifted, a bigger plot of land became available where the pastor's house was, a farm house on Middlesex. We sold the smaller plot on the main street and bought Lytham, then in 1956 built the first building."

Senate Judiciary Committee requests Kagan documents

Here's a shocker. The Clinton library thinks it will be too difficult to find and submit for review the Kagan documents.
Terri Garner, director of the William J. Clinton Presidential Library and Museum, said in an interview Wednesday that it would be "very difficult" for her facility to meet the deadline. She said the records request is overly broad and "too general in scope" and that, under the Presidential Records Act, attorneys for both Clinton and President Obama have the right to read and review each document before it is released to the committee.
What is it with this administration and documents? Illegal aliens shouldn't have to have any, because that might mean there was proof they are illegal. President Obama hasn't released a single document about his past, the way other presidents and candidates have done--not medical, not educational--no wonder there are so many conspiracy theories. What's he hiding? And now Kagan? Her paper trail has got to be very thin, all the more reason to have the Clinton records. When I was a librarian, if the Dean needed something, we stayed until we found it.
