Coptic Christians in Libya. Why?

"The 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians were marched to a beach, forced to kneel and then beheaded on video, which was broadcast on a website that supports Islamic State. The victims were among thousands of unemployed Egyptians desperately seeking work in Libya, despite the risks. Egypt’s foreign ministry said it was banning travel to Libya and had set up a crisis centre to bring home Egyptians."

Have you wondered why they can't get jobs in Egypt? Christians in Egypt are the garbage collectors--can't get other work. A few years ago the government killed their pigs and gave their jobs to unions. Now the country is awash in trash and their businesses have been destroyed.

The U.S. has been at war with Muslim controlled states off and on since 1801. Jefferson refused to pay ransom for enslaved American sailors , and thus the line "From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of TRIPOLI. . ." memorializes that war in the hymn of the U.S. Marine Corps. Behind the scenes of the pirate rescue

This came through e-mail today, so I looked it up--not a whole lot more satisfactory, but if you want to join the conversation, at least Atlas Shrugs has a lot of people commenting. She says it came from Free Republic.

The flight of the FBI's passenger jet took a little less than 14 hours at 500-some knots to get to Djibouti. BOXER'S helos picked them up and transported them out to the ship. The Navy SEALs were already there, staged, and ready to act by the time POTUS's FBI arrived on board later that evening. Notably, the first request by the OSC (On Scene Commander) that early Friday morning to take them out and save Captain Phillips was denied, to wit: "No, wait until 'my' FBI people get there."

Obama's doing enough bad stuff accurately reported that I don't need to add unsourced material, but if you personally want to read the Navy Seal report on what really happened with the pirates and why it took so long, and why the pirates weren't shot when the captain jumped in the water giving the marksmen a clear view, well, here's the oldest record I found--but no source, on a Baylor discussion list. That's even more poorly sourced than a blog under a made up name (I use my own). I'm just saying. . . it makes more sense than the news reports, but who really knows? Remember, because Bush sat a few seconds in stunned silence while reading to school children when the terrorists flew into the WTC, the marxists-among-us, including certain Hollywood celebs who are experts on everything, say he planned the whole thing. Obama waits 4 days to act, and they think he's god-like and brave.

How are these pirates different

than our Congress which has been holding the US taxpayer hostage through their own failures to control their out of control GSEs and profligate spending? Muslim pirates have held 26 vessels and 537 crew members hostage for $18.30 million. Pikers! They need a green card to the beltway to learn from the experts like Barney, Nancy, Chris and Hank. Oh--I feel a poem coming on.
