That's not as many people who have died as a result of the crimes of Viktor Bout, the Russian arms dealer Biden traded for a basketball player. Guns are OK now--let's remember that in Dems phony baloney blather about the 2nd Amendment. These decisions are never easy, but this one appears on the surface to be 110% political to shore up Biden's base. She was no national or international threat to anyone, just another celebrity violating another country's laws or customs. He, on the other hand, is a danger to people in all countries, including our own.

ISIS kills more Christians for show terror

Last night millions of Americans watched “Game of Thrones” with elaborate sets, made up languages, sexy female monarchs, fantasy creatures--very violent and blood thirsty. Meanwhile ISIS slaughtered some more Christians, this time Ethiopians, and made a video of it. Most Americans yawned. They'd rather shut down pizza shops owned by Christians than lift a finger to stop the massacre of Christians. One group was beheaded on a beach along the Mediterranean Sea, while the other group was shot in Southern Libya, hundreds of miles away. "The sea you have hidden Sheikh Osama bin Laden's body in, we swear to Allah, we will mix it with your blood," the narrator said in English. He's talking to us.

Coptic Christians in Libya. Why?

"The 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians were marched to a beach, forced to kneel and then beheaded on video, which was broadcast on a website that supports Islamic State. The victims were among thousands of unemployed Egyptians desperately seeking work in Libya, despite the risks. Egypt’s foreign ministry said it was banning travel to Libya and had set up a crisis centre to bring home Egyptians."

Have you wondered why they can't get jobs in Egypt? Christians in Egypt are the garbage collectors--can't get other work. A few years ago the government killed their pigs and gave their jobs to unions. Now the country is awash in trash and their businesses have been destroyed.

The U.S. has been at war with Muslim controlled states off and on since 1801. Jefferson refused to pay ransom for enslaved American sailors , and thus the line "From the halls of Montezuma to the shores of TRIPOLI. . ." memorializes that war in the hymn of the U.S. Marine Corps. Obama’s Watergate

Corruption and cover up. Surely Democrats must be embarrassed by the daily revelations. Yet they stick by him. Forty years ago chagrined, honest Republicans were fleeing from Nixon, a man whose lines about "I didn't know," or "I'm not a crook," are now being used by Obama. Maybe there's time. It hasn't all come out yet.

There is only one little difference between these two crooks

Nixon accepted the responsibility and did the honorable thing.  Obama knows nothing of honor, patriotism, honesty, hard work, or history.

Senior officials in the Treasury Dept. were told in June 2012, in the middle of the campaign, about the targeting and blocking of status of groups with names like Tea Party, 9/12, constitution, patriot, etc. in their name.   According to Obama, he wasn't told.  Benghazi happened on 9/11/2012, late in the campaign, and Obama said he went to bed and knew nothing, and even 2 weeks later was spreading the lie he seemed to accept without question about the video at the United Nations. Why is he surrounding himself with people who tell him about a gay basketball player coming out of the closet, but not important things?  I’m betting he knows nothing about the emerging EPA scandal about granting waivers for public records fees to liberal “green” groups while denying requests for conservative organizations. The full force of the federal government is conspiring against conservatives. And it comes from the top.

Waiting for the fat lady to sing the last note of Benghazi

The Benghazi scandal still hasn't brought it all to daylight--like the reason Christopher Stevens and the CIA were there (to bring down Muammar Gaddafi) and what about the gun running for Syrian rebels, and how the U.S. has completely lost control to Libyan rebels worse than the dictator they replaced. Obama and Clinton are probably thrilled to have the IRS scandal take our eye off the fact they have miserably failed to protect the world from Muslim fundamentalist terrorists we're militarily supporting.

Speaking of eyes, I see the Washington Post has a section called "Federal Eye; keeping tabs on the federal government." For three years President Obama publicly suggested that conservative political groups were engaged in nefarious deeds; publicly called out by name political opponents whom he'd like to see harassed; and publicly had his party pressure the IRS to take action.[Kimberly Strassel, WSJ, May 17]. In my memory (don't remember FDR), I don't recall a President who so demeaned the office by ugly remarks about his opponents, not even Nixon, and then had the lapdog media follow behind licking up the garbage he left behind. The AP snooping and the IRS harassment are no surprise--but don't let them cover over the Benghazi cover up just because they are closer to home. It's seamless.

White House Briefing—going badly for Carney

Poor Jay Carney. Benghazi is far worse than Watergate, and yet he tells US to check our history (Tuesday, May 14, press conference). Has to stand in front of the nation which doesn't believe a word and then gripe that the Benghazi tragedy is just a political side show by the Republicans, that the IRS story is an "if" and that Obama doesn't support the leaks snooping by Department of Justice and Eric Holder, his best bud.  He lamely whines about the "worst recession since the Great Depression." (That's code for this is all Bush's fault.)

Obama made clear yesterday he has been lying through his teeth about who did what when by "rewriting" the history of the last 8 months. On Sept. 25 he was still blaming a video for Sept. 11 attack. Hillary blamed a video in “comforting” the families and swore to get the film maker; Rice blamed a video on 5 talk shows. They all knew it wasn't true. Then he repeated that lie when he knew it was a planned terrorist attack and not a video when he told it on Sept. 25 at the United Nations, which he circuitously denied yesterday:

"That is what we saw play out in the last two weeks, as a crude and disgusting video sparked outrage throughout the Muslim world. Now, I have made it clear that the United States government had nothing to do with this video, and I believe its message must be rejected by all who respect our common humanity. It is an insult not only to Muslims, but to America as well -- for as the city outside these walls makes clear, we are a country that has welcomed people of every race and every faith."

What if we’d had a truthful media on Sept. 11, 2012

Watergate created a storm that brought down Nixon. No one was killed. He just wanted to win reelection so there was a cover up of a break in. Obama and his staff did something much worse on Sept. 11, 2012, and tried the same cover up, only the consequences were much more serious. The media kept quite. "What difference does it make," "It was a long time ago." His followers are so blind, I suspect he could have been reelected even if he'd told the truth.

Something else happened Sept. 11, 2012. Netanyahu of Israel said speaking at a news conference in Jerusalem, “Those in the international community who refuse to put red lines before Iran don’t have a moral right to place a red light before Israel.”

Little did he know, or we know, that on that day, our moral authority to say anything about what was going on in the Middle East had been shattered. That was also the day Obama turned down a meeting with Netanyahu and then left the next day for a visit with Jay-Z and Beyonce, after a full day of watching the bombing of our embassy in Benghazi in real time.

Two slip ups in one press conference—the first since March

Also, about this press conference, neither the President nor his media pals brought up the bombing currently going on in Israel, our closest ally, at least until the Obama administration, in the middle east.

“At one point he said: “And we’re after an election now. I think it is important for us to find out exactly what happened in Benghazi, and I’m happy to cooperate in any ways that Congress wants.” It was, of course, just as important to find out what happened in Benghazi before the election, but we should be grateful to the president for giving us this inadvertent glimpse into the role politics played in his thinking about Benghazi before he was reelected.

The president, perhaps realizing he had made a revealing slip of the tongue, went on to insist that he’d been providing information all along. But in response to a question about criticism of U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice from Senators John McCain and Lindsey ­Graham, the president slipped again. “For them to go after the U.N. ambassador, who had nothing to do with Ben­ghazi, and was simply making a presentation based on intelligence that she had received, and to besmirch her reputation, is outrageous.”

If Susan Rice “had nothing to do with Benghazi,” why then was she sent out to represent the administration in multiple television interviews five days after the attacks?”

Arrogance and dishonesty. . . breathtaking

VAN SUSTEREN: OK, you say they lied. So be specific. What do you think they lied about?

ROHRABACHER: Well, we know that for six days after the attack -- and we just heard from a member of the Intelligence Committee who saw the film -- they knew within a matter of hours, if not right away, that this was an organized, armed hit job by al Qaeda, probably, but an organized, commanded effort to murder our people.

Yet for six days after that, they were telling the American people that this was movie rage, this was a crowd getting out of control in order -- and then they murdered our ambassador, rather than al Qaeda.

And what does that do? That means we are not worrying about radical Islamic terrorism. Instead we're worried about a crowd getting out of control.

That was a lie! They knew it was a lie when they said it! When they sent out ambassador Rice to all the talk shows, they knew that was not the truth. When you tell something that's not the truth to the American people, especially in the middle of a crisis, they shouldn't expect to get away with it and be forgiven.
