Agenda 21 is growing while we squabble over Obamacare

We the people will get Obamacare, even if Congress, the unions, and hundreds of crony political donors don’t—and even they will too, eventually.  At least the Democrats and the President voted for it, even if not a single Republican did. And while we’re spinning our wheels on a power grab for one sixth of the economy, a bigger prize is out there ready to gobble us up, and that’s Agenda 21. For that there will be no vote.  We have no say, even if you try to stomp it out at the local level, which is nearly impossible because people are even more apathetic locally than they are nationally.

To see what’s going on there you only need to attend your local school board meeting or city council. For Agenda 21 we have no one in charge, because no has been elected. But every time you hear the word “sustainable,” or “smart growth,” or even something that sounds as positive as “government grant for a new bike path” you are being conned. http://www.offthegridnews.com/2013/08/31/private-property-seized-under-eminent-domain-for-ohio-bike-path/  In northern Ohio a $75,000 “planning grant” is planning to grab millions of federal dollars for bike paths in just one area of one state.  These are wonderful and scenic, unless you need to get to work in a bitter cold, northern Ohio winter storm.

Eventually, it is hoped to remove automobiles and replace them with mass transit and biking or walking.  We’ll hear various reasons—Ohioans are too fat, or the air quality, or there’s an endangered animal, or farms are causing too much run off in the water, but do not be fooled; as with Obamacare, it is about power.

Voting will be a thing of the past, as will private property, the family farm, local control of zoning (zoning is now considered racist and HUD will come after you.) The push for mass transit, “pack and stack” housing even in the suburbs, control of all local meat and produce, Common Core education plans—it all leads to the global plan.

So that you don’t think this is just one more crazy, paranoid blogger, check out what has happened in Westchester Co., NY, one of wealthiest, and best integrated regions to live in the U.S.  A lot of liberals live there.  There are 253,000 registered Democrats, 135,000 Republicans and 120,000 not affiliated to any party.  After negotiating with Westchester to build 750 low income housing units (HUD sued under an 1863 law), the feds (HUD) decided Westchester really needed to absorb 10,768 low income housing units. Skip to about minute 39 in this video to see the “grand experiment” of the federal government taking over a local community by deciding that zoning is racism. http://www3.westchestergov.com/state-of-the-county  If they can do it in wealthy, liberal Westchester, what chance does your county have?

While our representatives in Washington are squabbling over a break the bank take over, something bigger is coming down the path.  A country we can no longer use.

Have you ever wondered about Agenda 21?

I've been watching and listening and wading through obfuscating language on "sustainability" for about five years. It's not conservation, or saving Lake Erie, or saving some bird species. It's a whole lot bigger than what God commanded Adam to do in Genesis, and it's not one party either, and Obama didn't invent it. He was just a kid when it got rolling, which this guy dates to 1987, but I date to Earth Day, 1970. It's pantheistic, atheistic, and openingly anti-capitalist. It's just a new road to statism, then globalism.
According to its authors, the objective of sustainable development is to integrate economic, social and environmental policies in order to achieve reduced consumption, social equity, and the preservation and restoration of biodiversity. Sustainablists insist that every societal decision be based on environmental impact, focusing on three components; global land use, global education, and global population control and reduction.

Smart Growth, Wildlands Project, Resilient Cities, Regional Visioning Projects, STAR Sustainable Communities, Green jobs, Green Building Codes, “Going Green,” Alternative Energy, Local Visioning, facilitators, regional planning, historic preservation, conservation easements, development rights, sustainable farming, comprehensive planning, growth management, consensus.

Who is behind it?

ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability (formally, International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives). Communities pay ICLEI dues to provide “local” community plans, software, training, etc. Addition groups include American Planning Council, The Renaissance Planning Group, International City/ County Management Group, aided by US Mayors Conference, National Governors Association, National League of Cities, National Association of County Administrators and many more private organizations and official government agencies. Foundation and government grants drive the process.

The Earth Charter and Agenda 21

The differences. The similarities.

"Unlike Agenda 21, which is a document that provides a framework for hard laws, the Earth Charter is a set of principles that underscore and facilitate the strengthening and implementation of those laws. The Charter “was drafted in coordination with a hard law treaty that is designed to provide an integrated legal framework for all environment development law and policy.” This hard law treaty is called the International Covenant on Environment and Development and is being prepared by the Commission on Environmental Law at the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN), a behemoth agency which oversees 700+ governmental agencies worldwide. Interestingly, Maurice Strong is on the IUCN’s Board of Directors." (Link)

Lots of religious language in the environment worshipers. The Charter sounds like the Gospel; and the Agenda 21 the Law. In the old days, it was just plain old pantheism.

The Earth Charter is the outcome of a process initiated in 1992 at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro. Eight years later, in 2000, it was promulgated in Paris by UNESCO. According to Boff (2006) it is intended that the Charter will eventually be added to the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The Charter is an attempt to expound a global ethic for the twentyfirst century based upon sustainability and the interconnectedness of all on planet earth – all living entities and the systems upon which all life depends. It makes and invites commitments to ecological integrity, social and economic justice, democracy, non-violence and peace. A sense of the tone of the Charter can be glimpsed from its Preamble. . .

The Tool for Agenda 21 (global government)

"But how can they possibly bring about the global political, economic, social and religious transformation they desire? The tool employed must be so potent and pervasive that it reaches into every area of society, from local community groups to sovereign governments and multinational corporations. It must have the power to enforce binding international agreements, exert stringent controls over human activities and yet still be acceptable to the general population. It must become so entrenched in legislation and business practice that its necessity is barely questioned.

Such a tool exists. They have been carefully shaping and nurturing its progress for decades. It is known as the doctrine of Sustainable Development. We are all aware of need to address environmental problems such as water and air pollution, and dwindling natural resources, but Sustainable Development is exerting draconian controls and influence far beyond those required for effective environmental management."

The Green Agenda - Sustainable Development

Lest you think this is a right wing conspiracy theory, it isn't. All of their material with mission statement, goals, guidelines, etc. have been published--some go back as far as the 70s, but it really got rolling in 1992. They are on-line, and they aren't shy about their plans. Local mayors, boards of education and pastors of churches (believing for some reason this is what God intended when he put Adam in charge) are signing on to diminish the sovereignty of the United States, so it isn't just Washington DC. You aren't being consulted at any level.

"The task of mobilizing and technically supporting Local Agenda 21 planning in these communities has been led by the International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI) and national associations of local government. Now, with the further support of the International Development Research Centre and the United Nations Environment Programme, ICLEI is able to present the first worldwide documentation of Local Agenda 21 planning approaches, methods, and tools in this Local Agenda 21 Planning Guide."
