We know the DNC chose the Democrat candidate, but also indirectly it chose
Donald Trump by directing their friends in media to give him more air time (this
all came out in Wikileaks). Donna Brizile got questions; Wolf Blitzer got
questions, both CNN. http://dailycaller.com/2016/11/06/wikileaks-emails-cnn-asked-dnc-for-questions-for-interviews-with-trump-cruz/
The DNC figured he was the weakest of a very strong group, and therefore the easiest for their flawed,
criminal, aging and health challenged candidate to beat (she had a brain blood
clot in 2012 and is hypothyroid, neither fatal, but energy draining from weight
gain and blood thinners and both can cause mental confusion). In any other year, for
anyone... not named Clinton. . . her health issues alone would disqualify her.
Remember all the rumors the Democrats started about McCain in 2008 because of
his age (younger than she is now)?
The Democrats and many powerful Republicans got a surprise. The American
people were sick of business as usual, and liked the idea of a non-politician
not beholden to lobbyists, party poo-bahs, think tank "non-profits" and unions.
Also, Americans wanted just about anyone but another Clinton.
Then Wikileaks came, Bill's 45 minute secret meeting with Lynch, then FBI
investigation, Project Veritas videos, huge increases in Obamacare, and the
media's role in this began dribbling out--it had been rigging the debates by
giving Clinton the questions. Yesterday and today—new revelations about
Chelsea’s wedding and living for a decade on payouts from the Clinton Foundation. Sickening, but will be ignored. Not a sex story.
The Clinton campaign really had to hustle to find ancient stories, mostly
about sex, crude language and taxes that were legal. Her Foundation has 150x the
resources of the Trump Foundation, but the media could only focus on his. He
actually uses his wealth for good with no payback or tax breaks; she uses her
wealth to destroy the trust of the citizens. Her foundation has five criminal
investigations ongoing getting very little media attention and it's the day
before the election. http://dailycaller.com/2016/10/30/now-five-fbi-field-offices-are-probing-clinton-charity-adding-fuel-to-the-fire/
And this is the government we tell the world is so great they need to be like
us and send refugees?

Anyone else but Bill Clinton would be investigated by the IRS
From the Wall Street Journal: http://www.wsj.com/articles/the-cold-clinton-reality-1477608696
Longtime Clinton aide Doug Band wrote a memo in 2011 to justify himself to lawyers at Simpson, Thacher & Bartlett who were reviewing his role and conducting a governance review of the Clinton Foundation . . .
"The Band memo reveals exactly what critics of the Clintons have long said: They make little distinction between the private and public aspects of their lives, between the pursuit of personal enrichment, the operation of a nonprofit, and participation in U.S. politics.
Mr. Band writes that he and his colleague Justin Cooper “have, for the past ten years, served as the primary contact and point of management for President Clinton’s activities—which span from political activity... (e.g., campaigning on behalf of candidates for elected office), to business activity (e.g., providing advisory services to business entities with which he has a consulting arrangement), to Foundation activity.”
This excerpt and all the potential conflicts it describes, plus Chelsea’s warning about business “hustling” at foundation events, would seem more than ample cause to trigger an IRS audit of the foundation. For that matter, why aren’t the IRS and prosecutors already on the case? Any normal foundation has to keep records to show it is separating its nonprofit activity from any for-profit business."

Is this the face of White Privilege?

Height, youth, beauty, brains and maleness does give one some privilege--that extends to all races. (Kardashians excepted). But being the offspring of a politician or celebrity, certainly allows for a hand up. Some crash and burn. I always thought Chelsea could avoid some of the down side--seemed to have a good head on her shoulders--but I think fame has taken her down a bit. Wouldn't you hate being the daughter of two flakes--although I'm sure they all love each other.

Don't judge Obama by his pastor!
Conservative media are having a blast rerunning video of Jeremiah Wright's racist sermons and repeating the story that Barack Obama should have done something about his pastor. There may be 50 reasons to not vote for Obama, but his pastor isn't one of them. People who say this don't understand the structure of Protestant churches. First of all, if you criticise the pastor, the assistant pastor, the Sunday School staff, the organist, or even the janitor, you will be told nicely, and with love, that there are other churches (probably 5,000 denominations) which can meet your needs and perhaps it's time for you to go look at the alternatives. Second, for millions of Christians, their church is their home base, their family in a society where the nearest relative might be 500miles away, or friends live on the other side of the city, 45 minutes away. Third, many Christians are "Chreasters"--they attend only on the big holidays, and sermons at Christmas and Easter are usually standard fare. Where would they go where they would agree with everything? Especially Obama. He was not a Christian before meeting Rev. Wright. He was raised in the home of his white secular grandparents. How would he know what he might hear elsewhere in another black church after he'd given up a mentor and his church family? If people have asked why Chelsea Clinton didn't stop her mother from lying about Bosnian snipers, I haven't seen it discussed. But the dynamics are similar. She loves her mother and respects her, warts and all. They've been through a lot together. Where is she going to find another family who will give her the visibility and power few women her age have? She knows her mother was lying about having war experience; she knows her father is a philandering liar. Where is she going to get another family if she turns her back on them because of their lies?
