The hacked e-mails of Clinton

I missed this in the Hillary hacked leaks. Rereading BBC list. Podesta also called Sanders "a doofus." Is it racist or bigoted to refer to people as "food groups?"

"Mrs Clinton's campaign considered Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates or his wife Melinda as her running mate, according to the hacked emails. 

Mr Podesta drafted a list of nearly 40 names for her potential vice-presidential pick, organising it by what he called "rough food groups", which appeared to refer to demographic coalitions. 

The list included Hispanic, white and black men, three former high-ranking military officers, business leaders and female senators.  

Among those included were Apple's Tim Cook, former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, General Motors' Marry Barra and Starbucks chief executive Howard Schultz. 

Senator Bernie Sanders was listed in a group by himself. "

Manning is a pardoned traitor

Leaking? That depends on your ideology

I  get the giggles when  friends on the left say there were no leaks or scandals in the Obama terms? Well, yes, but some were reported as "inadvertant disclosures." However, if you search you can find something about Edward Snowden, or exposing foreign informants who were then killed, or the freeze that got some editors fired as a warning to others in the media, or Obama's criminal investigation into leaks that worried him, or FBI agent Donald Sachtleben, or attacks on Wikileaks insiders, or revelations of federal employees keeping tabs on each other not only in the National Security bureaucracy, but the Department of Education, USDA, NOAA, etc. 

Of course, whenever these snooper dooper stories appeared during the Obama years, the reporters to be safe and not anger the powers in DC quickly added any similar stories from the Bush administration all the way back to Judas betraying Jesus, just to make sure they didn't paint Obama too black. Not to beat a dead horse in Benghazi, but that was really about illegal gun running to the rebels in Syria, a plan that went badly for our ambassador and resulted in a cover up by Susan Rice obediently lying to the American people on behalf of Hillary Clinton and President Obama

Democrats continue to destabilize our government

Eat your words, Senator Warren. In mid-October, all prominent Democrats--Clinton and Obama included-- were ridiculing Trump for his suspicions of a rigged election and calling for accountability from losers. But now, the worm has turned, and they have nothing but slander, slurs, gripes and whines to add to the usual tired charges of racist, homophobe, sexist, etc. They need to get down to work and find programs and policies that work that don't involve more mandates, more regulations and more taxes. The moles in their organization that leaked their secret animus for Bernie and working people have probably left the building. You don't need a clever Russian to hack a G-Mail account that wasn't secure.

So far, only the Democrats, not the Russians, have tried to screw up our presidential election. Electors are being threatened, recounts are revealing some serious mischief in Democrat controlled counties in Detroit, collusion between the Democrats and our "free" press is at an all time high, calls for undoing the electoral college vote after the fact, and tons of fake news about Russia in an attempt to destabilize our government.

I'm still waiting to find a report of a Democrat who left Clinton's side because of Podesta's e-mails showing the Democrats true feelings. I guess it was all expected in politics, also the other candidate wasn't appealing.

Are we better than a banana republic?

We know the DNC chose the Democrat candidate, but also indirectly it chose Donald Trump by directing their friends in media to give him more air time (this all came out in Wikileaks). Donna Brizile got questions; Wolf Blitzer got questions, both CNN. http://dailycaller.com/2016/11/06/wikileaks-emails-cnn-asked-dnc-for-questions-for-interviews-with-trump-cruz/ The DNC figured he was the weakest of a very strong group, and therefore the easiest for their flawed, criminal, aging and health challenged candidate to beat (she had a brain blood clot in 2012 and is hypothyroid, neither fatal, but energy draining from weight gain and blood thinners and both can cause mental confusion). In any other year, for anyone... not named Clinton. . . her health issues alone would disqualify her. Remember all the rumors the Democrats started about McCain in 2008 because of his age (younger than she is now)?

The Democrats and many powerful Republicans got a surprise. The American people were sick of business as usual, and liked the idea of a non-politician not beholden to lobbyists, party poo-bahs, think tank "non-profits" and unions. Also, Americans wanted just about anyone but another Clinton.

Then Wikileaks came, Bill's 45 minute secret meeting with Lynch, then FBI investigation, Project Veritas videos, huge increases in Obamacare, and the media's role in this began dribbling out--it had been rigging the debates by giving Clinton the questions. Yesterday and today—new revelations about Chelsea’s wedding and living for a decade on payouts from the Clinton Foundation. Sickening, but will be ignored. Not a sex story.

The Clinton campaign really had to hustle to find ancient stories, mostly about sex, crude language and taxes that were legal. Her Foundation has 150x the resources of the Trump Foundation, but the media could only focus on his. He actually uses his wealth for good with no payback or tax breaks; she uses her wealth to destroy the trust of the citizens. Brent Budowsky is a strong supporter of Mrs. Clinton, and blogs at various web sites, The Hill, the LA Progressive, and The Huffington Post. You can't say he didn't realize the danger of what she and her family were doing in March 2015.

“It was not uplifting to learn in recent hours that problems with foreign donations to the Clinton Foundation continue, Hillary Clinton was still making paid speeches for hire this week, and Tony Rodham is hustling gold mining deals in Haiti. ...From the minute the email story broke I have been out there publicly and unequivocally supporting Hillary Clinton in multiple ways in multiple media unlike many Democrats and unlike most in the media. My mama taught me long ago that when I am seriously angry I should count to ten and choose my words carefully. In that spirit here is my toned down advice which I seriously doubt the Clintons are hearing from those close to them, and if they are hearing it, they are not understanding it. If there is one thing that could well bring down a Hillary Clinton candidacy it is this cycle of money issues about which I am now feeling red alerts, loud bells, warning signals, and red flags and I am now seriously pissed off that there is a real chance that her candidacy and the Democratic Party could be destroyed by these self-created dangers that continue to proliferate the closer she gets to presumably announcing her candidacy. What if Wasserman Schultz was Clinton's key to the nomination?

 
In case this clip doesn't show in your browser: Wasserman Schultz was Hillary's campaign co-chair in her failed 2008 bid for the nomination. What if, in order to lock down the 2016 nomination, she were made the party chair? (The Wikileaks e-mails indicate that Hillary had been chosen before the primaries.) That means some one would need to step down, and that capable, able person was none other than Tim Kaine, the current vice presidential pick, a cafeteria Catholic to scope up those few Democrats who still have scruples.  Quite a pay off for him for stepping aside.
