St. James’ advice for the internet users
You probably didn't realize the Bible addresses using the Internet. I need to re-read this advice whenever I read The Daily Beast or The Huffington Post.
James 1:19-27 (NIV) My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires. Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.
Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.
Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

Guest blogger Murray on the “liberal” media
The other day I read the news article from the Huffington Post on the Internet about Obama claiming the gun lobbyists lied to the members of Congress and that's why the gun legislation didn't pass. I commented at the site:
HuffPo: “Obama placed blame on the gun lobby during his remarks."The gun lobby and its allies willfully lied about the bill," Obama said.”
Murray: “If anyone knows about lying it's Obama. He's done that throughout his entire political career. How about the B.S. when he claimed he was at the hospital while his mother died because she had no medical insurance."
The next day I received this notice from Huffington:

Bill Moyers preaching to the choir--moreso than usual
- "Ron Schiller is a fundraiser, not a news director. NPR keeps a high, thick firewall between its successful development office and its superb news division. The "separation of church and state" -- the classic division of editorial and finance -- has been one of the glories of public radio as it has won a large and respectful audience as the place on the radio spectrum that is free of commercials and commercial values.
If you would see how this integrity is upheld, go to the NPR website and pull up any of its reporting since 2009 on the Tea Party movement. Read the transcripts or listen to its coverage -- you will find it impartial and professional, a full representation of various points of view, pro and con, Further, examine how over the past few days NPR has covered the O'Keefe/Schiller contretemps and made no attempt to cover up or ignore its own failings and responsibilities."

Will the media ever apologize for lying about Beck's event?
Reported who would be speaking there. They weren't there.
Estimated the number of attendees at about 87,000 when there were probably 500,000. Beck drew more people than Obama, at a single event, and didn't use a teleprompter.
The media never told the truth even about "divertsity." Ignored the Protestant, Catholic, Jewish, and Muslim leaders arm in arm in front of the crowds. Still dismissive. Still calling it a "Tea Party" event, a term they are desperately attempting to turn into a pejorative. Michelle Malkin was waiting Saturday "with race-baited breath for a reporter to head over to Sharpton’s rally and question the lack of diversity there, but it never happened."
Oh well, the media has so marginalized itself with lies and hyperbole, soon we won't even have a newspaper or news magazine because Americans won't trust them. Even PBS and NPR, which uses our tax dollars, lied.
Non-traditional media, like the one funded by leftist Ariana Huffington, Huff and Puff posted and ridiculed t-shirts, like those honoring the founders, faith and the events of September 11, 2001. Nice touch, libs.
Oh yes, this one is just hilarious.
NPR assesses the after thoughts.

OSU student organizes Columbus' tax protest
And they are not "right wing extremists" the way the Homeland Security claims.- "COLUMBUS- Americans for Prosperity, ShotsontheHouse.com, various college groups, and various community groups are once again joining forces to combat reckless local, state, and government spending.
A rally is planned as part of the national tax day tea party movement at 6 PM, April 15th, in front of the Ohio Statehouse.
Justin Higgins, a Columbus area blogger and Ohio State student said that, “these protests really tap into the communities and they’re upset. They’re tired of stupid bailouts, lying politicians, and trillions being dumped down the drain in the name of stimulus.” Justin runs www.ShotsontheHouse.com and served as the Master of Ceremonies for an AFP protest event held on March 14h. He’s assisting in the organization of the April 15th event.
Then there's the lefty wackos at Huff and Puff, trying to blame Glenn Beck and talk radio, and reporting that some web site has made a fortune ($48,000) selling tea party memorabilia. Gee, the Democrats spent more than that renting housing in Columbus for the "residents" from other states to come here and register "disenfranchised" voters. They are probably unemployed journalists using a silk screen in the basement to create t-shirts.
