The big day is here

Today, December 14,  the electors of each state cast their vote in the Electoral College, that much hated, peculiar entity that elects the President. An amazing invention so that 47 states aren't ignored and that even the little guy gets representation. It's also the day the vaccine that our President fought, badgered, and bullied for to get it out in record time to defeat the virus is being administered. The Democrats will always ignore this, because they could have never done it and they know they weaponized it at our expense to defeat the man who had exposed them (both parties). No matter how the vote goes with the Electoral College, we know Trump has been the winner in both the election and the vaccine. I will be in line when it comes to the elderly in Ohio, and I'll whisper, "Thank you, President Trump. You have triumphed."

Hillary Clinton opined again this past week at the vaudeville virtual convention that she won. She wasn't defeated in 2016, she was defeated in the Democrat primaries in 2008, by Barack Obama. She had more votes, in those days feminism won out over color, but Obama got the winner take all, electoral style system Democrats use in their primaries. After 8 years she was too old, too exhausted and too ill to pull it off. By the same token, Sanders won, but Joe Biden walked off with the prize. Bernie's no dummy, however, and has most of the power over the Biden message and campaign. You could call it the Harris-Sanders ticket.

The pros and cons of the National Voter Registration Act, 1993

What happened to the Democrat party that used to believe in fair elections with only eligible voters? In 1993, with a Democratic Congress and President (Clinton) the National Voter Registration Act was passed. It requires "a reasonable effort to remove the names of ineligible voters" from voter rolls. In less than 20 years they've thrown that out the window and if local or state authorities attempt to clean up they are accused of racism or some other -ism.

What Democrats do love about the NVRA is it allows registering when getting a driver's license or registering to vote automatically when you register your car and then mailing in your ballot. So the result? Big push for illegals to get drivers licenses. In 2016 about 25% of votes cast were by mail--no voter ID with mailed ballots. And that is the end goal for the Left--no voter ID requirements at all, no voter residency requirements. Those who designed the NVRA probably had this in mind for the long run.

Actually, the big prize the Left lusts after is the abolition of the Electoral College, one of the smartest elements of the Constitution to keep us "united states" instead of New York and California states of America. If they succeed either with a constitutional amendment in which 40 plus states would agree to have no say in a federal election, or by casting their votes with other Democrat control states, most American voters would be disenfranchised and we wouldn't even need any rules for registration or voting.

The 2020 election will be stolen

I'm not so sure. I've been watching this virtue signaling (under various names) for 25-30 years, beginning when I was on the faculty   at OSU. Blame and self-righteousness goes a long way in politics. I've yet to hear one word about policy from the opposition that wasn't first built on hate for Trump, then charges of racism or misogyny. Even Jill Biden is campaigning for Joe on that.

• Democrats have created a new race--"people of color" often applied to those of 100% European ancestry with a Spanish surname.
• We've still got think tanks protected by their 501c3 status comparing the salaries of female part time day care workers with male electrical engineers and declaring a gender wage gap and then giving candidates talking points.
• There isn't a shred of scientific evidence that men can become women, but the LGBTQ agenda has been able to undo Title IX and get backing from major corporation who are reluctant to fight back if profit is involved.
• Words have become weaponized to create white supremacism where none exists.
• No one is punished or brought up on hate crime charges for maligning or destroying the businesses of Americans whose ancestors came from Europe.

Democrats plan to steal the 2020 election--probably could save a lot of money in campaigning. And they will do it with the Constitution which allows states to figure out their own electoral votes. Usually Democrats don't like the Constitution when it comes to rights of the unborn, or 2nd amendment or religion, but they'll love it for stealing this election. Not only do Democrat controlled states have an advantage in non-citizen population (which determines the count for the House), but when they control the state, they control how the Electoral College will vote.

First it was the KKK, then Jim Crow, and now the Democrats have another way to disenfranchise southern Blacks and rural whites--destroy the Electoral College so the only votes that matter are the major metropolitan areas on the west coast and east coast. Do you really think Mississippi or Alabama or Idaho or Wyoming will ever see a candidate for President if Democrats are successful in their diabolical scheme?

The Electoral College and the popular vote

If you're still complaining that Hillary Clinton won the popular vote (I must have heard it 5 times watching broadcast TV yesterday), keep in mind, this is the second time she won the popular vote and lost the election. In 2008, she won the popular vote in the Democrat primaries--I don't know how to figure the percentage, but it was greater than in 2016. But as with the Electoral College which lets the states speak, she didn't win the right number of primaries. That said, I admire her for showing up yesterday. Classier than the Democrats who put on the pout and stayed home. Now more Democrats/Progressives/Anarchists/ and all around poor sports who didn't vote are descending on DC.  In some cities there have been some serious injuries.  In DC, cars were set on fire, trash was burned, police were spit on, and head bashed in.

It got wild the last few days, didn't it?  Wasn't sure the Electoral College system for protection against mobs and cabals was going to work.

I saw this clip several times. . . "This is my America," a 40-ish woman kept screaming giving the Hitler salute (what it is called when Republicans raise the fist) when the electors did the legal and moral thing--respected the voters of Wisconsin. I'm guessing that will go viral. Hope her mother wasn't watching. Or her kids. Not sure why she thought her one vote mattered more than all the rest of the Wisconsin voters.

The Left is really ramping up the Russia paranoia.  The Democrats are getting all prissy about Russia without knowing how the Russians will respond to strong leadership by our country. I would have guessed Putin would have preferred Clinton--it's been proven she can be bought.  Trump is probably too rich.  Obama seems to like Cuba and Iran--any others?

They are more than twice as likely to blot out dissenting points of view from their social media timelines as Democratic men, who reported doing so at a 14 percent rate." Washington Times, Dec. 19, 2016.  Of course, if they've blocked me, they can't see this. My female Democrat relatives beat the rush--blocked me in 2015. I don't mind dissenting viewpoints, but it really bothers the soul of some people. Of course, I was a Democrat for forty years and understand the mindset.

Do the Democrats want to stage a coup and destroy the republic?

Democrats don't want an investigation for the truth, they want to convince the Electors to lose faith in the election and "vote their conscience." They want them all (or just enough to throw the election) to be "faithless"--to violate what they've pledged to do--vote for their party's choice.

 

There is no evidence that the Russians leaked Podesta's e-mails (a G-Mail account is not secure for anyone--what was he thinking?), or that any Clinton supporters left her for that reason. There's also no evidence that it wasn't an inside job. . .but that's what Julian Assange says. And there was no sign the Democrats wanted this so-called interference investigated last fall when it first came up.  In October, the Democrats and their lapdog media friends were ridiculing the idea that an outside power could affect a U.S. election. Will the electors be given that information or just the version the Washington Post made up (aka fake news). 

 

Democrats just can't accept that she ignored millions of voters, called Americans names, sneered at their values, and they didn't turn out for her as they did for Obama. But they really turned out for her in Detroit--more ballots than voters! Where's that investigation? Trump was speaking at 5-6 rallies a day to huge crowds--and she could barely field enough interest for a basketball game and only a few times a week.  He was talking to the press ($2 billion free publicity) and she was hiding and resting.

 

 These trouble makers may be the biggest threat to our country ever--and it's not from the Russians. It's Democrats who can't accept the results. They want the popular vote which is not constitutional and they continue to sow seeds of doubt.  It's OK not to like the elected person--I didn't like Obama--but it's not OK to try to undo the election results.

 

Did they try this nonsense in 2008 when Clinton got the popular vote in the Democrat primaries?

Be on the look out for dirty tricks

It might be time for some columnists and talk show hosts to stop dancing in the streets over Trump's win. The party that found the right to kill unborn children in the Constitution and passed a law requiring citizens to purchase a product or go to jail is finding all sorts of ways to get around the Electoral College, which is indeed in the Constitution. Everything from threatening electors, to publishing their private information so they can be mob-bullied, to demanding recounts for the 1% winner, to telling electors to vote for other candidates to deny Trump the 270, to creating state laws to ignore the Electoral College. I hope someone is minding the store during the party because these guys (DNC/Clintons) are experts at deception, death, and deceit.

Hillary Clinton got more popular votes than Barack Obama in the 2008 primaries, but he won the primary contest.  Hillary Clinton a higher percentage of the popular votes in 2012 than her husband did in 1992, and he only won because Ross Perot pulled votes from George H.W. Bush. Now since I voted for Clinton in that election, I thought it was just fine that Republicans who supported Perot had thrown a monkey wrench into Bush's second term.  Jill Stein pulled votes from Hillary Clinton in all the close races that Trump won. Now she's raising more money than she did in her entire campaign for a "recount," which is just a way to keep people riled up about the electoral vote. Without it, we're a bi-coastal country, with nothing in the middle.

I remember 2012 election night. I could hardly believe it. How could Romney NOT win? In a day or two I was over it. My hopes were dashed during the primaries as I saw the strongest Republican bench in decades go down in flames and at the end I was a Cruz supporter. I didn't mourn, cut my hair, stop wearing make-up, unfriend family, refuse to share holidays with friends, or say nasty things about decent, good people who had voted for Obama in 2012 or Trump in the primaries. What's wrong with these people?

Crazed Hillary supporters threatening electors

It probably doesn't fall under "fake news" when Vox or The Daily Beast or The Huffington Post write prejudiced paranoid posts about alt-right or white supremacists or The Tea Party, but I wonder if they will take responsibility if one of their readers believes them and actually does kill one of the electors pledged to Trump. They are being threatened and their names and addresses are being published. Or, what if they don't kill them, and just terrorize them into changing their vote? The Left is so full of hate and bigotry it will stop at nothing to prevent this election process.
