Sound of Freedom movie--what's the controversy?

Why are some in the MSM and Americans deep in the Democrat political pool denying the truth and seriousness of the film, "Sound of Freedom," with Jim Caviezel playing Tim Ballard? It's a film about a modern abolition movement and underground railroad to free children in sex slavery. With most crimes, it's follow the money.

1. Trafficking in persons (TIP) is the 3rd largest industry in the world, with arms being #1, and illegal drugs #2. It's hard to get a firm fix on the dollars, but ILO claimed $150 Billion for labor trafficking (2014), and other international sources say 70% of that is sex trafficking of women and children. It's a "renewable" product, and once someone is enslaved the money continues to roll in for the owner or syndicate, unlike the illegal drug industry when the commodity is gone when sold, smoked or ingested. In the sex industry, it's 100% on return of investment.

2. Sex trafficking is closely tied to the pornography industry, which is also a global multi-billion dollar industry. Statistics for this industry are for 2023, whereas most government statistics are 2-3 years behind. It's about $97 billion. Pornography is the gate way drug for the consumer, and the training manual for the victims.

3. Technology--Big Tech--is right in the middle of all this slime and degradation. Internet porn is probably a third of the recurring business and the image of a woman or children, both boys and girls, and be reused thousands of times, enslaving the consumer in the privacy of his/her home while revictimizing the victim, who may be dead or long ago out of the industry. It's "clean" on subscription with just a few clicks. The income is beyond your imagination. That's why the stats are all over the place.

4. The sex trafficking and labor and debt bondage are all tied together. We Americans consume many products produced by forced labor, maybe something small like elements in our smart phones or huge like the windmills on the prairies. Africa and China primarily are the source for just those 2. The List of Goods Produced by Child Labor or Forced Labor comprises 159 goods from 78 countries and areas, as of September 28, 2022. (Dept. of Labor) Here you get into the money of Politics. I can't claim to know the routes and how-to's, but getting Washington to clean up its act will take massive political will from the PEOPLE. If we have politicians who refuse to watch a movie because they are afraid of Christians or conservatives, the quagmire is deep and wide, and money is at the bottom of the pit.

The fast fall of Fox

Although I haven't watched Fox News since Tucker was fired, I did hear from Matt Walsh that the 8 p.m. time slot has dropped from 1st to 41st. The women running Fox apparently were put there to destroy it. Owners must have their own supply of money independent of their investment. Fox not only hates its viewers, but also its employees. They are required to see "reeducation" messages and attend classes on LGBTQ sex and depravity. Things that would get anyone fired in the workplace. Years ago, I had a gay boss and a trans employee--they were honorable people who would be horrified by what is going on. Fox management pushes porn on its staff. I suppose it is a ploy to get them to resign, but those folks have mortgages, college debt, and church pledges to pay, so only the most screwed up, kinky or privately wealthy will stay. Sorry to see it. I loved the Fox ladies at noon and the Five. Meanwhile, Tucker continues spilling the beans on all our media sources. Episode 4 was on Biden's methods to destroy our Constitutional election process. Jail his opponent for "crimes" he Biden has committed. Banana Republic. We be it.

Columbus CEO uses diversity as soft porn

There's so much I could tell you about the "Columbus CEO" Fall 2022 issue. 1) It's gone completely overboard for D.I.E., 2) it's now a quarterly instead of a monthly, 3) it's now including soft porn in it's stories about D.I.E.

Yes, indeed, in this fall's issue (almost wrote month) cover story about Donna James, a black woman, fully clothed, who is going to make Victoria's Secret more inclusive and diverse so it can regain it's huge share in a dwindling skimpy underwear market it includes this photo. Evidence of inclusion. All shades of black, maybe a trans model (didn't read the story), an African model, obese, and who knows, perhaps one of them is mentally ill or challenged.

The story with the cover seemed to indicate that this accomplished savvy black woman is a shrewd 65 year old businesswoman who would turn the company around after the #metoo movement, a clientele that has moved on to hard porn and sex positivity (i.e. anything goes including choking and slapping and beatings), a scandal about Les Wexner's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, and the transmovement where men are not only moving into women's locker rooms and sports, but taking their modeling jobs. That's a lot to dump on an older woman who wears long hair and matchy-matchy pant suits to work--like the 70s. She probably doesn't wear the product.

And I'm not surprised "Columbus CEO" has moved to fewer issues. How long can you attract advertisers who want to hold on to a market that is based in a city that is 72% white, 16% black, 4.3 Asian, 4.3 Hispanic and the rest "other" with stories on racism, gender anomalies, obesity is good, all the while telling your market they are bad, disgusting people taking up too much space on the planet?

Maybe it will work--I was a librarian not a publisher (Ray Paproki), and I'm certainly not their target audience. To me, it looks like shooting yourself in the . . . foot.

Update: Last year's Future 50 (in business, influence, etc.) cover issue had over half women, 40% black, and when I looked through, none live in areas predominately black or minority, virtually all in high income areas with big salaries. Does that show success or that "Columbus CEO" is a hypocrite and all the diversity articles are just hype to be on the bandwagon? The editor for that issue is now gone.

Brown-Jackson has it all

Ketanji Brown Jackson can't define "woman" and doesn't know what to do about child victims of pornography. She'll be approved as our next Supreme Court Justice. Whether or not she can define "woman," she was nominated because she is one.

KBJ is a package deal for the Left. There must be no boundaries for sexuality--people must be free--even to pretend to be another sex (but don't you dare culturally appropriate an Indian name). There must be no boundaries for the country, either. Vilify anyone who isn't at least brown, but if a Republican he's white and racist. Laws and customs are just repression of desires. Teach the kiddoes to be confused about sexuality and have the little ones taught at library story hour by men dressed as hypersexualized women. Turn Planned Parenthood loose in the schools to teach masturbation and contraception to underage children, then offer abortions. Ridicule marriage and monogamy. Encourage the suppression of religion. Push the birth rate below replacement level. Feminize the men and turn them into snowflakes so they'll want to become women--something KBJ can't define. Put little boys at a disadvantage for 30 years and then punish them for failing at being men. Dress both sexes alike, unless they are transwomen, then pump them full of hormones and put them in thick make-up and bangles and beads. Make them a news spectacle as "first woman to be on the board of xyz." It's the ultimate feminist hatred of men, and ultimately of themselves, women.

50 shades of grey--if you’re naked it’s sadomasochism, if you’re not naked, it’s just violence

Judith Reisman has written a number of studies and books on the damage that Alfred Kinsey’s sex research did to society. The  wide acceptance of Kinsey’s claims, she contends, has contributed to a degradation in morality, teaching sex in schools and the expansion of pornography. She traces the mommy porn of 50 shades back to him.

http://www.wnd.com/2015/02/kinsey-blamed-for-50-shades-mommy-porn/

She accuses Kinsey of child sexual assaults in his “research.”

“One of the main things would be for us have a congressional investigation of Kinsey, to see where people were so completely lied to, how this began,” she said.

There have been previous, unsuccessful attempts at such investigations, she said.

The Kinsey Institute at Indiana University is getting millions of tax dollars, she said, at minimum $21 million in recent years.”

Gershon Legman, the original compiler for Kinsey's pornography collection, revealed that

Kinsey's not-very-secret intention was to "respectabilize" homosexuality and certain sexual perversions ... He did not hesitate to extrapolate his utterly inadequate and inconclusive samplings to the whole population of the United States, not to say the world ... This is pure propaganda, and is ridiculously far from the mathematical or statistical science pretended.[5]

Five shades of Grey—a Pastor’s viewpoint

“Rick McDaniel, senior pastor of Richmond Community Church, 11801 Nuckols Road, Glen Allen, Virginia 23059, says that while human sexuality is certainly a normal phenomenon, we need to understand it through the lens of God’s morality. McDaniel says Fifty Shades of Grey, with its explicitly erotic scenes that feature bondage, dominance and sadism, is dangerous, destructive and against the teachings of God’s promise of marriage. So he is planning a sermon series titled 5 Shades of Grey, in which he will tackle the five topics of adultery, divorce, cohabitation, pornography and gay marriage.”

International pornography ring based in Louisiana

Mothers of boys, watch out who you "friend" on social media.  A large, international child pornography operation, with most of the victims boys, has been uncovered and the 27 year old ring leader arrested. "Jonathan Johnson, 27, of Abita Springs, La., has been charged with operating a child exploitation enterprise. He admitted to creating multiple fake female personas on popular social networks to target and sexually exploit children and to coaching other child predators in his inner circle to do the same. Jonathan Johnson has been in federal custody since his arrest June 13, 2013, and faces 20 years to life in prison." Of the 13 other men arrested so far, most were 30 and under. Male subscribers to the boy porn site were making them rich and selling their souls for this abomination.

How people spend the work day

Seventy percent of Internet porn traffic occurs during normal work hours (between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.), with people in the Eastern time zone accounting for 30% of Internet porn use.

More disturbing statistics about this addiction.

I wonder whatever happened to the "hostile environment" employment rule.

Did You Know--women and pornography addiction

“The more pornography women use, the more likely they are to be victims of non-consensual sex,” said Mary Anne Layden, professor of sociology and women’s studies at Wheelock College in Boston. “The earlier the male starts using pornography, the more likely they are to be the perpetrators of non-consensual sex.”

Did You Know--General Motors

"There are some 13,000 porn films made in the United States generating near $100 billion per year. General Motors owns DirectTV, which distributes over 40 million streams of porn into American homes every month. AT&T and GM rake in approximately 80 percent of all porn dollars."

And now through the bail out, we the people own General Motors. The payback then, will be through porn profits?

Obama's safe schools czar--Kevin Jennings

You might want to read this. It's a porn list for children. From Maggie's Notebook:
Kevin Jennings, Barack Obama's failed "safe school czar" has a recommended reading list for children of all ages. What has been revealed is sick and perverted, and until you read this, you simply cannot image what Jennings recommends as appropriate for school children in this country. I implore you to read and pass it around. Contact Congress, your schools and specifically the White House.
More at Breitbart TV--teaching children about "fisting." Jennings, Obama's choice to lead us to safe schools, created the Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN). Although supposedly GLSEN's mission is to discourage harrasment of gay children, it appears to any observer that its mission is to promote pornography and creating sexually ready children for men who like little boys. And who enjoys reading about first grade boys performing fellatio, other than older boys and men desiring boys? Sounds like child porn to me. Do we need this in schools?

Really, this administration is just a wiggling, squirming swarm of mischief and mayhem. You hardly know which rock to peek under next!

Grant fraud to wasting time on porn

If you go to work for the National Science Foundation as an investigative attorney, you never know what you might be called on to do. . .
"When established by President Harry Truman in 1950, the National Science Foundation's (NSF) budget was $150,000. Congress trusts the NSF with an ever-increasing responsibility to fund the most meritorious programs and initiatives in scientific and technological research and education, keeping the U.S. at the frontier of discovery. With an emphasis on advancing national health, prosperity, and welfare, NSF brings together scientific and education experts to shape the direction of national research and education in science and technology. NSF maintains a creative and collegial atmosphere . . . "[taken from an ad for a full time investigative attorney, Arlington, VA, $61,000 - $113,000] Job Board

“Employee misconduct investigations, often involving workers accessing pornography from their government computers, grew sixfold last year inside the taxpayer-funded foundation that doles out billions of dollars of scientific research grants, according to budget documents and other records obtained by The Washington Times.” Worker porn.
I called this the ACORN defense--the "retired" worker said he was helping--he frequented the porn sites to provide a living to the poor overseas women. NSF isn't the only government agency with this problem--only the most recent in the news. Very few firings, some brief suspensions.

Censorship or common sense?

As a librarian I think I've seen or read just about everything that's out there (that's stupid) about digital porn, filters, libraries and access. It's always about freedom and never about protecting children or library patrons who have to sit next to the perverts. "Well, what if they are doing a school report about AIDS in Africa, and you've got a filter on the computer?" Yeah, sure. I know people who will not take their children to public libraries unattended--and that's just fine, indeed recommended, by some library directors. God forbid some slimeball should be prevented masterbating at the terminal or stacks while he views naked girls and women. Now it's Wikipedia. What? Librarians on their board/staff? Here's the story in E-Commerce News.
A decades-old record album cover showing a young girl posing nude may be illegal in the UK, but the controversial image has not been banned in the U.S., where Wikipedia is hosted. The user-created online encyclopedia has therefore determined it would be censorship to remove the image from its pages. Several British ISPs have restricted access to the page, however, in response to a complaint.

Canning the spam

At e-Commerce Times, Erika Morphy writes
Two men have been successfully prosecuted for sending out millions of unsolicited e-mail messages promoting pornographic Web sites, and reaping millions of dollars as a result.

Jeffrey A. Kilbride of Venice, Calif., was sentenced to six years, and James R. Schaffer of Paradise Valley, Ariz., was sentenced to and five years and three months, to be served in Arizona. They were prosecuted under the federal CAN-SPAM act.

Between Jan. 20, 2004, and June 9, 2004, the two bombarded AOL members with their spam, prompting more than 600,000 complaints.

They also engaged in conspiracy, money laundering, fraud, and transportation of obscene materials. U.S. District Judge David Campbell sentenced the two after a three-week trial, giving Kilbride a stiffer penalty for attempting to keep a government witness from testifying.
Unfortunately, she says it will be business as usual for the other porn slime spammers. The money's just too big and there's way too many bad guys. So just keep reporting it.
