Hillary's overload
Remember when Mrs. Clinton while Secretary of State gave Russia a red "reset" button, but it said "перегрузка" (peregruzka) which actually means "overcharge?" Oh, and remember how forceful the U.S. was in handling the Crimea and Ukraine problems? NOT. EVER. Trump was not in office, but she was. She participated in a disastrous Obama foreign policy that got Russia, and Putin, all wrong. Whisper through that one, Hillary.

The underpinning lie—the 40 million
"On Tuesday, about 40 million more Americans will be able to finally buy quality, affordable health care, just like anybody else. Those marketplaces will be open for business on Tuesday no matter what -- even if there’s a government shutdown. That’s a done deal." Barack Obama, Sept. 27, 2013
The lie here isn't what we all know followed, a massive meltdown and confusion of unbelievable proportions, but the "40 million will finally be able to buy affordable health care." Many of those 40 million (that figure is rather squishy, since it seemed to get larger each time I saw a reference) were already able to buy insurance--certainly not the plan the government has decided we all need--but it was out there. Many were illegal aliens since the Census on which this figure is based includes people, not citizens. Many chose not to participate in an employer's plan, or to not sign on for Medicaid, or to not work. Some wanted just catastrophic and chose to pay out of pocket for their day to day care. Now with subsidies provided by the responsible ones who did buy insurance, their insurance is "affordable?" Is $99 a month affordable if the man pays no taxes, has no skills, is homeless or mentally ill? What is he supposed to do? Sell his EBT card? Is if affordable if he's passed on to Medicaid in states that aren't allowed to run a deficit, and Obama's word can't be trusted not to change at the next press conference?

In his press conference on Thursday when he announced the same delay for which Tea Party were demonized just a month earlier, he also lied. And pretended to have been unaware of the problems of 5 million losing their insurance and doctors. Some media sources, all friendly, called this a mea culpa and an apology, but I never heard one word where he accepted the blame. As on everything else in these last 5 years, he just says he didn’t know, or found out late, or heard it on the grapevine.
One of the few people who actually got to see and talk to the president during the run up to the Oct. 1 rollout was Valerie Jarrett, his right hand, who wrote on the WH blog July 2. "We are on target to open the health insurance marketplace on Oct. 1 where small businesses and ordinary Americans will be able to go to one place to learn about their coverage options and make side-by-side comparisons of each plan’s price and benefits before they make their decision.” Also, in July it was decided to delay the employer mandate until after the mid-terms so Democrats wouldn't be hurt. Now he's decided (and it's probably not any more lawful than his other decrees to change the law) to postpone the individual mandate until after the elections, again because Democrats have to run for reelection among some very unhappy people who have lost their insurance.

Two slip ups in one press conference—the first since March
Also, about this press conference, neither the President nor his media pals brought up the bombing currently going on in Israel, our closest ally, at least until the Obama administration, in the middle east.
“At one point he said: “And we’re after an election now. I think it is important for us to find out exactly what happened in Benghazi, and I’m happy to cooperate in any ways that Congress wants.” It was, of course, just as important to find out what happened in Benghazi before the election, but we should be grateful to the president for giving us this inadvertent glimpse into the role politics played in his thinking about Benghazi before he was reelected.
The president, perhaps realizing he had made a revealing slip of the tongue, went on to insist that he’d been providing information all along. But in response to a question about criticism of U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice from Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham, the president slipped again. “For them to go after the U.N. ambassador, who had nothing to do with Benghazi, and was simply making a presentation based on intelligence that she had received, and to besmirch her reputation, is outrageous.”
If Susan Rice “had nothing to do with Benghazi,” why then was she sent out to represent the administration in multiple television interviews five days after the attacks?”

Dunn explains how it's done
She says: "Obama's presidential campaign focused on "making" the news media cover certain issues while rarely communicating anything to the press unless it was "controlled," White House Communications Director Anita Dunn disclosed to the Dominican government at a videotaped conference.
"Very rarely did we communicate through the press anything that we didn't absolutely control," said Dunn.
"One of the reasons we did so many of the David Plouffe videos was not just for our supporters, but also because it was a way for us to get our message out without having to actually talk to reporters," said Dunn, referring to Plouffe, who was Obama'schief campaign manager.
"We just put that out there and made them write what Plouffe had said as opposed to Plouffe doing an interview with a reporter. So it was very much we controlled it as opposed to the press controlled it," Dunn said.

Clinton White House or April Fools Day?
"Journalists seeking to talk a little foreign policy with high-profile Obama administration officials live from the G20 meetings in London this week were solicited for phone sex instead after ringing up the toll-free number given by the White House. In a press release, the White House accidentally listed a sex line number for journalists seeking an "on-the-record briefing call with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and National Security Advisor Jim Jones to discuss the NATO summit."
But after dialing, a soft-voiced female recording that was clearly not Clinton asked for a credit card number if you "feel like getting nasty." " Fox News
And then someone who watched the G20 press conference wrote on a wiki (blog?): "First and foremost, why isn't the national and international media making fun of President Obama for being a stammering idiot with a puny vocabulary? I didn't believe it until I just watched for myself, but Obama is a stuttering fool and seems to barely be able to manage a coherent sentence. He speaks worse than I write!
After President Obama's G20 press conference was over, I was stunned. Again he made numerous gaffs and can't seem to answer a question without going off on some tangent that has nothing to do with the original question. Obama continually called on reporters that are allies to the socialist cause and Obama knew would ask softball questions that would make himlook good, which is know easy task.
From day one, the American media attacked G.W. Bush for speaking exactly as Obama does, stammering and making little or no sense. I would readily admit that Bush was much worse at public speaking than Obama, but Obama clearly lacks the ability to speak without a teleprompter in front of him."
I was in the car, but I think I picked up a few -er, -uh, -um's during a news break and changed the station. That man hurts my ears. Even the sentences that do make sense, seem awfully elementary and repetitious. Doesn't he rehearse?
