Prayer at the inauguration

"I am so ecstatic that my President made his inauguration virtually a prayer meeting! Trump transitioned into his Presidency asking 10 million people to bow their heads and petition our One True God for help. His VP opened the Bible to 1 Chronicles 7:14 to be sworn into office: "if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

I haven't crunched the numbers

But this sounds about right.  Obama was notorious for self-reference.  Trump's speech was called Hitlerian by one of the pouty MSM talking heads, the guy with a thrill up his leg I think. Who knew "We the American people" was such a terrorizing phrase. I tried all the channels today--NBC, CBS, ABC and PBS.  Shameful.  I thought they would weep.  If they gave the Trumps one minute, they'd follow it up with about three for the Obamas, and then go back and lovingly stroke their memories from 2009.  The leftward media seems to believe that Trump will expand presidential power even more than Obama did--like this past week for example.

I met Damon when he was about 8 years old.  His mother Terry is a friend, and his sister used to date our son. He's now "making bank" as my kids say, and is in DC today.  On Facebook he reports.

Headed to airport a day early. Protesters are literally starting fights with old ladies... no exaggeration. Skirmish started by monument when a young guy shoved a 80yr old lady to the ground for having a Trump shirt on. The fun festive environment is gone.

So those of you who think you are simply exercising your free speech as I do on my blog, are sadly wrong.  You are being manipulated. You can't name a single government program that Donald Trump put in place that hurts blacks, gays, women, Christians, Muslims, immigrants, or puppies, but I can list at least 20 that Obama or previous presidents has put in place that hurt those people.

Anarchists and Marxists have come together to protest in major cities

 Many of the organizations backing the anti-inauguration events are "worker this or that," "globalist so and so" and "people unite for blah blah." Their names/titles are pretty clear. They only laid low because Obama was black, but they've been working over time behind the scenes for years. Communism under any name is still that, statism/socialism, the problem is today's young adults weren't even born when the USSR collapsed, and that's when American Communists took over the movement.

I wish the demonstrations and terrorist acts were just bad sport, toddler tantrums, but they aren't. These are goon level, 1917 Russia food riots, but no one demonstrating is poor, or suffering or losing in WWI. Marxism has that sort of energy--what it says it is about (racism, sexism, homophobia in 21st century Europe or America) it isn't, no matter the country or era. It's not workers' rights; it's not about larger apartments or better food. It's not about health.  It's all about power to the state and the leaders' skill to drag the little guy in.

Manning and suicide rates

Pvt. Manning to whom Obama just granted freedom has attempted suicide twice while in prison. The rate of suicide (and suicide attempts) by transgendered or those on their way is very high--about 40%. And it's not discrimination. It's also very high after genital surgery, facial remolding and inclusion. If discrimination were the leading factor, then blacks would have a higher rate than whites, but they don't. Poorer neighborhoods would have higher rates of suicide than richer, but they don't. Jail suicide rates have gone up 12% during Obama's terms. Prison suicides outnumber homicides. The highest suicide rate is white men over 85. Obama's tragic decision won't help military veterans whose suicide rate is twice that of civilians. 

I was wrong about Manning's orchiectomy--he hasn't had it yet, so he's a male taking estrogen to enlarge his breasts who's had a name change. And why not be depressed, anxious and suicidal? He's betrayed his fellow soldiers, his country, and his family so he could get free hormones and mascara. That's a heavy burden for anyone to bear. His treachery led to the deaths of poor villagers who were supporting U.S. forces and outed many of our allies. How does this make him a hero and a figure worthy of pity? I suspect Obama has signed his death warrant.

The hysterical left

Although I wasn't on Facebook in January 2009, I do remember the fear mongering on the internet. There were all sorts of conspiracy rumors about how the far right would act, probably inciting violence, against the our country's first black president. And it's all come true this month, but it's not the far right. It's Soros backed demonstrators, anarchists, unionists, CEOs of non-profits, and elderly boomers from the prairies reliving their youth; it's terrified snowflakes and Joy Behar "View" buds banding together in fear and mourning. It's clear evidence how deeply the Marxists (even those who are making money hand over fist with TV gigs) have wormed into and infested our society. Trump may have won the election, but the left definitely has a strangle hold on the culture. In December Behar shrieked (or growled), "Do we have to wait until the hammer and sickle is on the American flag before we stand up to this guy?” she asked. "No, Joy, you've been carrying that banner for years," Norma advised.

Does ideology matter to Trump?

Rush Limbaugh said something interesting today and I paraphrase. Donald Trump really doesn't understand the left; he isn't conservative or liberal. I think that's true--at least I've never heard him say anything about a person's ideology. I seriously doubt he knows Trotsky from Alinsky.  He's a business man accustomed to working with all types. He believes in free markets (sort of) because that's a good business principle. He thinks borders should be secure because he believes why have a border if it is ignored and drugs, criminals, etc. cross over.  It must be a shock to him to be called racist, homophobic and sexist by the middle school mean girls, since before running for President he schmoozed with all types and they fawned over him, invited him to their parties, and told him he was wonderful because of his influence. When John Civil Rights Icon says something stupid and attacks Trump, he just reacts by punching back, and doesn't delve into any socialist twaddle or diversity dribble that has kept that Icon on salary (he got to Icon status by being beaten near to death by Democrats). When the black Congressional lock step club pressure each other to not attend the inauguration and powers higher than them smack around entertainers and school marching bands, Trump takes it personally, but doesn't seem to see the fog of statism in over under around and through it where everyone has to obey, pay a fine, lose their livelihood, be shunned or jailed.

Metastatic breast cancer

I got a sad letter this week begging me to warn the women in my life about metastatic breast cancer. So here's her story for the women in my life.

She's a member of my church, but living out of state while she settles the estate of her deceased daughter--nothing a woman in her late 80s would expect to be doing. I remember about 5 years ago her daughter came to Columbus to help her mom recover from a stroke. My friend's daughter had had annual mammograms for years, and nothing was found--probably due to very dense breast tissue and the location under her arm. But she did have a lot of pain the last 5 years and was being treated for arthritis. By the time she was properly diagnosed the cancer had metastasized to both hips, her spine, liver and lymph system. This cancer is not curable, and no one dies from cancer that stays in the breast, but if she'd been properly diagnosed 5 years ago, she could possibly be alive. That's not a given, however. 

All women have been educated about detecting breast cancer and screening--in fact, the lion's share of that money you donate and raise in walks, runs, and selling pink stuff, goes for education and not research that could actually save your life. I've looked at several websites about this and personal stories, and this one is pretty clear. Read the comments. 

The Trump demonstrations

Chicago was an appropriate locale for Obama's farewell address. "It’s a violent, one-party city that is collapsing under the weight of its own corruption." (Moses Lambert) And DC is an appropriate place for the Democrats to gather for a march--whether blue church ladies from shrinking urban churches, or chubby boomer nurses and librarians in "pussy" bonnets, or screaming feminists against the unborn--to participate in a Soros funded event against Trump, threaten violence and disruption and party like it's the 1960s. It's the Democrat way.

Bradley Manning's treachery

When the annals of crime are written up describing the "first," or "biggest," I hope they don't list Bradley Manning as a famous female traitor. Bradley was who he always was (and always will be) when he committed treason and through his efforts and insecurity about his sexuality, got people killed. President Obama has given the American people and the American military another poke in the eye. It's a 2-fer.  If Chelsea were still Bradley, I doubt this request would have been met. Some other traitor would have gotten it.

You created "us" when you constantly referred to us as racists.
You created "us" when you constantly called us xenophobic.
You created "us" when you told us to get on board or get out of the way.
You created "us" when you forced us to buy health care and then financially penalized us for not participating.
You created "us" when you allowed our jobs to continue to leave our country.
You created "us" when you attacked our flag.
You created "us" when you confused women's rights with feminism.
You created "us" when you began to immasculate men.
You created "us" when you decided to make our children soft.
You created "us" when you decided to vote for progressive ideals.
You created "us" when you attacked our way of life.
You created "us" when you decided to let our government get out of control.
"You" created "us" the silent majority.
And we became fed up and we pushed back and spoke up.

Journalists for Hillary to gather and grieve

Heard on the news that "Journalists for Hillary" are having a conference on how to lick wounds and eat their own vomit. They need a 12 step program for their addiction. Their pro-Obama hyperbole shows no abatement even though his administration set the record for hostility toward media--and not just Fox. They will probably have workshops on new ways to blame Trump for Ferguson, Baltimore and Oakland burning. Poverty, welfare and unemployment stats will be more of a challenge ...as good jobs replace part time retail and restaurant careers; they'll find those trends in pre-Trump administration. They'll scour the tips for people dying because their insurance lapsed for their untreatable, fatal illness. Journalists ridiculed, lied, made up fake news and, by golly Miss Molly, they are not going to back down now and start being the free press the Constitution guarantees us.
