Why are Obama and Politico defending or endorsing Democrat Jay Jones? Saying "sorry" just doesn't cut it when he fantasized about killing his opponent's children. Yes, he should be sorry, should apologize and should never, ever run for public office. And shame on Politico. Mentions the scandal but doesn't say what it is. "Jones fantasized about shooting Todd Gilbert, the Republican who was then-speaker of the Virginia house; talked of pissing on the graves of Republican officeholders if they predeceased him; and expressed his belief that Republicans would only change their views if they experienced personal pain, and allegedly gave as an example the wife of Todd Gilbert watching her child die in her arms.

Dick Durbin, pro-choice Catholic Senator

Dick Durbin, Catholic Democrat, is not just pro-choice, he's super charged with killing the unborn. The pope knows that, knows he violates long held Catholic moral teaching, and he waffled on being questioned. I have no horse in this race, but we hear enough blather from politicians--no reason to have it from the pope who probably has no problem speaking out about climate or immigration on which there is no Catholic dogma.

I also dislike the so-called moral equivalency of comparing the failings of Communist/socialist ideals with failings of free market/patriotic ideals. Illegal immigration also involves drugs, rape and trafficking. That straw man is also rampant in non-Catholic Christian groups who then equate violence against someone with words they don't like.

The aftermath of the Kirk memorial

Don Lemon, formerly of CNN, wasn't happy with the over 100,000 who turned out to memorialize Charlie Kirk, according to a brief clip I saw. He's desperately afraid of the First Amendment. You know, the one that guarantees him the right to sleep in on Sunday and talk smack all he wants. I wonder if he noticed millions were attending church that same day, and no one seemed to show alarm at that.

Joe Biden closed down our churches and schools (technically it was governors) and most haven't recovered. Did Lemon complain? Nearly all churches have returned to in-person worship since the lockdowns ended in addition to their online services. Yet most churches still have not returned to their pre-pandemic attendance rates. Maybe we'll see an uptick, maybe not. But it wouldn't be a bad thing for people to return to regular church attendance. Interestingly, 23% of pastors of small churches (fewer than 50 in attendance pre-pandemic) report being up to 90%-100% of pre-pandemic attendance rates! This is much higher than for larger churches. Yesterday, I watched the Kirk memorial prelims and then 7 hours of the memorial itself. I'm feeling grief and sorrow for the likes of AOC, the Squad, the View, Jimmy Kimmel, Tim Walz, Kamala Harris and all the "leaders" elected or not of the Democrats. They know so little and have missed so much. In a nation of winners, they are losers. In a nation of abundance of good will and honorable people, they are poverty stricken, they are beggars with empty cups. It's so sad.

So Jimmy Kimmel has been closed down. His numbers were appalling and even in a leftist industry like late night TV, the company answers to the investors. What's that saying? You dance with the one who brung ya. Now the Democrats discover the First Amendment. They shut down the country (except for powerful Democrats and people who could work by laptop), and allowed Twitter, Google, Instagram, etc. to control our speech, jobs, travel because private companies can do what the government can't--deny speech, assembly and religion. They so intimidated us that pastors closed churches and didn't stick up for us. Those who told the truth about life and sexuality were called hateful and totalitarian by politicians and government agencies. To this day Democrats named Pelosi, Harris, Clinton, Watters, Crockett, Pritzker, Walz and Omar call conservatives Nazis and fascists. Jazzy Crockett, a rich kid who went to private schools, all of a sudden speaks black English and acts like a pompous ass, yes m'am, that's free speech. That's free speech, and their reckless behavior gets people killed. However. When capitalists hire a skinny man to dress like a woman to sell beer, they get to lose their profits. When capitalists hire a one note political comedian who was nasty and not funny for years they were losing money for their non-coastal affiliates, they are allowed to say bye bye Jimmy.

He had a huge elaborate wedding (don't know the sex) back in his home country of Uganda from which his parents had to flee so he could grow up a rich kid in the U.S. His lies and those of Bernie, Pelosi, AOC and others, only work on the ignorant and those who've forgotten the 100,000,000 killed in the 20th century by his Marxist lies. For all its faults, free market capitalism has liberated more people from poverty than any other system. The middle class in the U.S. isn't disappearing--they've moved up. Why the National Guard?

Here's how it works. The local police deal with and arrest the rioters. The national guard surrounds and protects the federal property. If the governors (of California, Minnesota and Oregon) behave as they did in 2020, Trump knows the chaos will continue and it's his responsibility to call on the guard to relieve the local police to do their job. Newsom should have done it,  but is running for president; he's not doing a good PR stunt. The burning cars and foreign flags being flown should be on every GOP poster and ad. They are now tracking the money and much of it comes from NGOs who have been receiving USAID grants. Democrat appointed judges will probably try to be president-lite, but I don't want my tax money going to burn down buildings I've already paid for.

I remember way back when Obama came into view and Rahm Emanuel appeared. I probably said (in my blog) some not so nice things about him and his brothers. He's had a lot of government jobs including mayor of Chicago and Obama's enforcer. Now based on all the other possible stars, like AOC and Jazzy Crockett, that light up his party, I think he looks darn good. His name Emanuel means "God with us" and was adopted by his father to honor an uncle who died in 1933. Although it's possible he's too old (65), too white, and too Jewish to meet Democrat standards.

Although I've never met him, I just love Harold Ford, Jr. He seems to be the only Democrat who has common sense, compassion and calmness. He's never said he likes Trump, but he did say he's the most powerful president of his lifetime. He is an African American who is one of the "liberals" on the Fox panel at 5 p.m., The Five. He now lives in New York but for years was a representative from Tennessee, as was his father. But I noticed today as he was interviewed about Schumer that reasonable Democrats do sound like fence sitters or maybe passive aggressive. What do you think? Do you like him too?

Do Democrats have any plan but to destroy Trump?

Transgender mice

I know everyone (except Democrats) is joking and laughing at transgender mice experiments--millions spent on this with our tax dollars. It was mentioned in the President's speech Tuesday night. You know the one--all the Democrats were glued to their seats and they wore pink put don't support women.

 
But better they experiment on mice than children! No one gets sexually aroused (well, maybe some do) mutilating a mouse. Yet there are those medical horror chambers called "affirmation centers" at almost all our major health centers like Ohio State where surgeons (I'm just guessing most are men) can experiment with vaginoplasty, orchiectomy, mastectomy, fat transfer, metoidioplasty, sex hormones and other ghoulish dreams on people not old enough to vote, or to understand their human rights.

 
It reminds me of the Kinsey sex experiments on children in the 1940s or how American medical researchers used African women to experiment with birth control pills back in the 60s to be sure contraceptives were safe to use on European and American women although many died or were left sterile for life. Or the experiments conducted by our government on southern black men from the 1930s to the 1970s who had syphilis. It was later strongly condemned, too late to help those men who were not told what was being done to them.

Last night Democrats just pouted and probably felt sorry for the mice. I'm sure they can throw a benefit to support PETA's program to live in harmony with mice and rats. But children? Why don't they care about children?

I've watched 3 weeks of Democrats pointing fingers, and they just can't figure it out, was it racist white males, or disillusioned minorities, or her vice president choice, or lack of support from Biden staff, and on and on and on. So here's my repeat of November 6 for them to think about. Pick just 2 and Trump wins.
