Group names
| A pickle of porcupines |
What group name goes with the women’s march of January 21? Obstinacy (of buffalo); clutter (of cats); coalition (of cheetahs); piteousness (of doves); a flamboyance (of flamingoes); a confusion (of guinea fowl); a scold (of jays); a mischief (of mice); a prickle (of porcupines); a rhumba (of rattlesnakes); a posse (of turkeys); a hurtle (of sheep).

West Coast March for Life, January 21
At the West Coast March for Life Reggie Littlejohn, founder and president of Women’s Rights Without Frontiers who works internationally to stop the carnage of abortion said President Trump would sign an order to defund International Planned Parenthood on Sunday. I haven't confirmed that actually happened. As I understand the history of this, only under Presidents Clinton and Obama was it funded. She said China has aborted 400,000,000 (U.S. is 58,000,000) and is assisted by the UN and Int. PP. (That's our tax money killing babies.) That's more than the population of the U.S. and Canada. Because much of Chinese abortion is for sex selection, it has destabilized their population with huge trafficking now in women as millions of men can't find a wife and start a family. Mrs. Littlejohn is raising 2 teen Chinese girls whose parents helped them escape while they went to jail and were tortured. The American women marching against Trump on Saturday don't care about what is happening to women in Asia; they want more power to the government.

Media manipulation--Women's March, January 21
I don't know how many minutes the media gave to the women's march
yesterday--but it was a lot. I only saw what was on Fox and they certainly provided a lot of coverage. Like they'd never heard of such an event.
And yet it has happened every year since 1974 to memorialize those
babies who have died and the women who have suffered grief, suicide and
higher rates of cancer in the name of "health care for women" or
"women's rights." The 2011 and 2012 marches drew an estimated 400,000
each, whereas the 2013 march drew an estimated 650,000. It is also held in multiple cities, just like the copy cat event yesterday.
I started watching this about 5 years ago on EWTN, the only channel
that actually covers the speakers and prayer vigils. But I'd never heard
of it before then. Huge turn out from young people of all Christian
groups, not just Catholics. And they are polite, they don't shout
vulgarities, burn trash and cars in the street and smash Starbucks
windows.
The media manipulate you. Demand better. They are on the air to produce wealth for their owners and advertisers. If you don't know it is happening, then it isn't. Unfortunately, many churches are just as silent as the media.

Commutations
I thought Johnson would be much higher, even at 2nd place. He knew so many crooks.

I survived, guest blogger Bonnie
I survived the last eight years of an administration with which I did not agree on anything. I am not a fan of Trump. I only know that he was a better choice than her. I like most of his Cabinet and close advisors. It's so refreshing after the likes of Jonathon Gruber and Van Jones and Cass Sustein. I am thoroughly looking forward to rolling back the tide of Socialism.
I made calls to Congressmen and participated in peaceful protests. I did not have to retreat to my safe space. It's too bad the "tolerant" left is so intolerant of other views that they resort to throwing bricks at the police and destroying property.

The Electoral College and the popular vote
If you're still complaining that Hillary Clinton won the popular vote (I must have heard it 5 times watching broadcast TV yesterday), keep in mind, this is the second time she won the popular vote and lost the election. In 2008, she won the popular vote in the Democrat primaries--I don't know how to figure the percentage, but it was greater than in 2016. But as with the Electoral College which lets the states speak, she didn't win the right number of primaries. That said, I admire her for showing up yesterday. Classier than the Democrats who put on the pout and stayed home. Now more Democrats/Progressives/Anarchists/ and all around poor sports who didn't vote are descending on DC. In some cities there have been some serious injuries. In DC, cars were set on fire, trash was burned, police were spit on, and head bashed in.

Prayer at the inauguration
"I am so ecstatic that my President made his inauguration virtually a prayer meeting! Trump transitioned into his Presidency asking 10 million people to bow their heads and petition our One True God for help. His VP opened the Bible to 1 Chronicles 7:14 to be sworn into office: "if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
I am so proud to be an American! God, bring revival to our nation!"

I haven't crunched the numbers
But this sounds about right. Obama was notorious for self-reference. Trump's speech was called Hitlerian by one of the pouty MSM talking heads, the guy with a thrill up his leg I think. Who knew "We the American people" was such a terrorizing phrase. I tried all the channels today--NBC, CBS, ABC and PBS. Shameful. I thought they would weep. If they gave the Trumps one minute, they'd follow it up with about three for the Obamas, and then go back and lovingly stroke their memories from 2009. The leftward media seems to believe that Trump will expand presidential power even more than Obama did--like this past week for example.

A business man visiting in Washington DC
I met Damon when he was about 8 years old. His mother Terry is a friend, and his sister used to date our son. He's now "making bank" as my kids say, and is in DC today. On Facebook he reports.
Headed to airport a day early. Protesters are literally starting fights with old ladies... no exaggeration. Skirmish started by monument when a young guy shoved a 80yr old lady to the ground for having a Trump shirt on. The fun festive environment is gone.So those of you who think you are simply exercising your free speech as I do on my blog, are sadly wrong. You are being manipulated. You can't name a single government program that Donald Trump put in place that hurts blacks, gays, women, Christians, Muslims, immigrants, or puppies, but I can list at least 20 that Obama or previous presidents has put in place that hurt those people.

Anarchists and Marxists have come together to protest in major cities

Many of the organizations backing the anti-inauguration events are "worker this or that," "globalist so and so" and "people unite for blah blah." Their names/titles are pretty clear. They only laid low because Obama was black, but they've been working over time behind the scenes for years. Communism under any name is still that, statism/socialism, the problem is today's young adults weren't even born when the USSR collapsed, and that's when American Communists took over the movement.
I wish the demonstrations and terrorist acts were just bad sport, toddler tantrums, but they aren't. These are goon level, 1917 Russia food riots, but no one demonstrating is poor, or suffering or losing in WWI. Marxism has that sort of energy--what it says it is about (racism, sexism, homophobia in 21st century Europe or America) it isn't, no matter the country or era. It's not workers' rights; it's not about larger apartments or better food. It's not about health. It's all about power to the state and the leaders' skill to drag the little guy in.
