The hysteria pandemic on top of the Covid pandemic

Most of us were deceived into believing that COVID-19 was far worse than it really was, that interventions were more effective than they really were, and that downsides of interventions were smaller than they really were. The pandemic became cartoonishly distorted across every dimension. A psychic pandemic had been superimposed onto a real pandemic.
