Chris Matthews, Tavis Smiley and Matt Lauer

I’ve never liked Chris Matthews (NBC), but I think the charges against him for something he said or did in 1999, are just so stupid.  Unless they can come up with something serious, they are just trivializing real problems women in the workplace have.  He’s given the company the best years of his sorry life, and this is the loyalty he gets? Same for Tavis Smiley and PBS.  And the female producer of the Matt Lauer show who had an affair with him when she was 24, should just go crawl in a hole.  She still sounds love-sick in her pathetic story which she’s blabbing everywhere to anyone who will listen to “confirm” the damage he’s done to women.  She knew he was a married man with children.  Didn’t stop her. Stitch a scarlet letter on her throbbing bodice.

Hillary supporters have had a melt down because Matt Lauer during the NBC debate treated her fairly--asked tough questions--even about the e-mails which just keep oozing out of her past lies. In fact, according to one observer, he interrupted her responses 7 times, and not in an unkind way, and interrupted Trump's responses 13 times. If she can't handle Lauer, what will happen when she meets with Xi Jinping, President of the People's Republic of China or Angela Merkel Chancellor of Germany? It's very common for these broadcast journalists to cover for their candidates, and they don't even pretend to be unbiased. He's still on their team.

Meanwhile, her husband anxious to get his third term has been campaigning for her.  Bill Clinton is calling Trump's campaign slogan "racist," but it's the same one Clinton used in the 1990s, and even more recently--in 2008 for Hillary's campaign. "Make America great again." Why is that more racist than "Hope and Change?" Can Democrats ever discuss issues?

Poverty pimps live well

Actually, main stream reporters couldn't be called exactly poverty pimps--they aren't the Jesse Jackson types where their entire livelihood is based on scamming the wealthy CEOs to give to their causes. But they do harange us ordinary folk with "social justice" sob stories and try to make us weep that we have more than others. Like Matt Lauer.

He has recently bought a waterfront "cottage" for $2.15 million in South Hampton, NY. He works for NBC's Today Show.

So what sort of pay back do these MSM reporters get? After all, Obama's going to redistribute their wealth to the bottom one-third (actually, that would include me). Maybe they just get to share the beach. I wouldn't deny a liberal media maven his millions, I just wish they'd be less a hypocrite about wealth, taxes, poverty, health insurance and Obama!

WSJ says luxury real estate is rebounding in the Hamptons thanks to Obama's "bridge loans" for the well connected with our tax money. (Lots of snobbish blacks in the Hamptons. They used to be only for snobbish whites.) Really, these people didn't get rich by being stupid.

Lauer on Letterman

It comes after the gas. . . the good old boys sticking up for each other. I don’t think Lauer gets it. The left hates her because she is 1) smart, 2) capable, 3) pro-life, and 4) didn’t get to her position on the coattails of her husband or father, so they attack her family. What Letterman said was a whole lot worse than what got Don Imus fired. Remind me. Do "entertainers" ever ridicule or suggest assaulting the young sons of politicians?

Update: Sarah Palin has graciously accepted his apology, but with a zinger of her own: In a statement Tuesday, the Alaska governor said she accepted Letterman's apology "on behalf of all young women, like my daughters, who hope men who 'joke' about public displays of sexual exploitation of girls will soon evolve."

She's made it clear that entertainers using their bully pulpit to make ribald, sexist, sexual jokes about any women, of any age, is not acceptable. It's really been open season for disgusting sex jokes about conservative women since Obama swept into office. There's Obama's lipstick on a pig comment; Obama's chief Axelrod called Prejean a "dog;" Playboy publishing a hate f**k article using prominent Conservative women as objects; the gays attacking women who actually agree with the administration's published stand on marriage; Letterman calling Palin a slut, and 14 year old daughter getting knocked up and so on (he then later made it worse by claiming--oh no, I meant her other daughter, as if that were OK). Nice guys these Obamatons. And where are the feminists? Oh, still playing with their marxist marbles, and this game isn't worth getting into because it doesn't further their agenda.
