Leftist comedians attacking daughters of Republican politicians again

They are such great feminists, aren't they? Let's go after the kids--it will get a good laugh. Oh, Letterman and Griffin--you are just sooooo funny. Where is Child Protective Services and NOW when lefty funny folk go after young women?

"On her Bravo TV show Tuesday night, left-wing comedian Kathy Griffin referred to Sen. Scott Brown's two daughters as "prostitutes," and a CNN reporter apparently thought it hysterical." Letterman's liaisons with staff revealed

Nothing will happen to Letterman, but the extortionist (also CBS employee) will probably go to jail. Letterman will continue in his job as late night molder of the culture and character of Americans with off color jokes and hypocrisy.

Gullible travels

In the 2004 U.S. Presidential election, 25% of 18 – 35 year olds got their news from John Stewart’s “The Daily Show” and “Saturday Night Live” according to the Public News Service. Based on the outcome, I’m guessing it was much higher in 2008, and from the way Stewart, Letterman and SNL go hyper and disgusting over Sarah (and her children), Rush and Glenn, they aren’t letting up now that their man won. They are so in the tank for the left--whether Kerry, Gore or Obama--it’s no wonder they have a meltdown and have to call in Soros based lackeys to write their jokes.

But I do wish Rush and Glenn would just stop talking so much about how misinformed these No-lie-left-behind hosts are about their shows and their talk. Their audiences are totally left, so who cares? That group will probably not become listeners of Ann Coulter or Tammy Bruce or Sean Hannity, and if it is only parsed through Media Matters and Letterman, why get your shorts in a knot if people get their news that way? It’s no wonder Democrats are so poorly informed. Also, I think I don't care much for Glenn's new radio side-kick, Pat. He does impressions of Glenn, but not as good, and sometimes talks over him. Since I didn't listen in the summer (parked the car), I don't know when he started. Stu is a much better second banana.

Glenn’s boiled frog of Wednesday is an example. He wasted a lot of time on that last night. The bloggers were all a-twitter over him tossing a frog in boiling water to see if it would jump out according to the old saw. Of course, it was a fake frog, filmed ahead of time, they fell for it, and even cut the YouTube version that went on the internet in which he explained it was fake along with most Democrats and Republicans.

They are really gunning for Glenn now, because no one in the rest of the media does any research, fact checking, or old fashioned muck raking. So not only are they mad at the dirt he's digging up, but that he constantly scoops them (although that's not too hard). That ACORN advisory board story was revealing. Although not exactly his scoop. I guess we don't need to expect much of an investigation with that crew on board! Now ABC or NBC could have done that story. How hard is it to find out that Van Jones became a communist in prison? Or that Obama promised SEIU and ACORN a piece of the action in return for votes? It's all out there on the internet. You don't even have to take anything out of context. Does Katie Couric know about Google?

Lauer on Letterman

It comes after the gas. . . the good old boys sticking up for each other. I don’t think Lauer gets it. The left hates her because she is 1) smart, 2) capable, 3) pro-life, and 4) didn’t get to her position on the coattails of her husband or father, so they attack her family. What Letterman said was a whole lot worse than what got Don Imus fired. Remind me. Do "entertainers" ever ridicule or suggest assaulting the young sons of politicians?

Update: Sarah Palin has graciously accepted his apology, but with a zinger of her own: In a statement Tuesday, the Alaska governor said she accepted Letterman's apology "on behalf of all young women, like my daughters, who hope men who 'joke' about public displays of sexual exploitation of girls will soon evolve."

She's made it clear that entertainers using their bully pulpit to make ribald, sexist, sexual jokes about any women, of any age, is not acceptable. It's really been open season for disgusting sex jokes about conservative women since Obama swept into office. There's Obama's lipstick on a pig comment; Obama's chief Axelrod called Prejean a "dog;" Playboy publishing a hate f**k article using prominent Conservative women as objects; the gays attacking women who actually agree with the administration's published stand on marriage; Letterman calling Palin a slut, and 14 year old daughter getting knocked up and so on (he then later made it worse by claiming--oh no, I meant her other daughter, as if that were OK). Nice guys these Obamatons. And where are the feminists? Oh, still playing with their marxist marbles, and this game isn't worth getting into because it doesn't further their agenda.

Both remarks are way out of bounds

On national TV . . ."Last night the esteemed David Letterman (why does anyone watch him?) joked that Sarah Palin’s attendance at a Yankees game went well until “her daughter got knocked up by Alex Rodriguez” (Audience laughter)." That was from a commenter at another blog. Who only made it worse by suggesting . . . what if. . . "How about joking about nappy-headed ‘hos in the White House, Mr Letterman? Oh no, can’t do that, dissing the kids of da Prez."

Both remarks are sexist and disrespectful to women and sexualize children. Letterman also said Palin looked like a slutty flight attendant. But yes, on national TV you can make sexist and sexually abusive and threatening remarks about rape of a white teen-ager, daughter of a Republican governor, but you dare not make a remark about a black first lady and her daughters--not because of their position, but because of their race. Those are the really low, rock bottom, dragging on the ground, post-racial standards of the Democrats and their backers in the entertainment industry and the media. Congratulations, folks, you're even worse than we imagined.
