Plan B for children, brought to you by the party that thinks IDs for adults is racist

So. Why do you suppose the abortion industry is pushing Plan B on young girls? Certainly isn't for their health, is it? It's against the law for men to be having sex with young girls. Then they can just send them to the drug store. Mom and Dad will be in for a surprise when either the abortion or baby (these drugs must be used exactly as directed) or the venereal disease arrives for their daughter not yet old enough to drive.

Have you figured it out? This will actually create more pregnancies (more sex does that), and that means more money for the abortion industry. An ob/gyn who does abortions can make more money before noon on one day than he can in a month of delivering babies which require months of pre-natal care. 

For as long as stats have been kept on contraception, the more it is available, the more sex happens and babies are conceived and the more STDs infect women.

Christian colleges mandated to offer "plan B" abortion in health care

On Wednesday, Colorado Christian University became the first interdenominational Christian college to join Belmont Abbey College, a Catholic college in North Carolina in filing a lawsuit over the regulation that requires employers' health insurance plans to provide free contraception, including Plan B, and sterilization under their group health plan.

As a Christian college, CCU teaches the sanctity of life at all stages, and that abortions are against God’s law.

17 year olds and the morning after pill

Will the pharmacy be in trouble if it doesn't report abuse (underage sex) of a minor and parental neglect or will only Wal-Mart be held accountable since it was open and nothing else was. Here's some comments on the side effects of the Plan B abortificant and the federal judge now says your child can get without your knowledge from About.com Women's Health. Don't you think these worried women/girls should be asking a doctor, or their mothers instead of a computer screen? This is 3rd world witch doctor stuff.

I took the morning after pills 2 weeks ago and since then having stomach discomfort, pain and backache every now and then. A week ago, I had my menstrual. Unfortunately still having the same discomfort and pain after 4 days. Is what I am going through normal? cami

I took the morning after pill 4 days ago and i am still suffering from abdominal pain i feel pressure on my abdomen giving me an urge to pass urine. I also have noticed some vaginal spotting ( little bit of blood). I don’t know if this is normal and how long it should go on for, everyone i know has never experienced these symptonms. JJ

I’ve taken this pill once and I will never EVER taken it again. My body is SO screwed up!

I took the pill back in the end of March of 07. I had a very heavy period with lots of clotting a couple of weeks later that lasted 2 1/2 weeks. I didn’t have any nausea or back pain like that has been mentioned here though. The period lasted from end of April through Mothers Day weekend (which is in MAY). I did not have another period until September of 07 that lasted for almost 2 weeks of heavy bleeding and passing clots. It’s now the middle of January of 08 and still have not had a cycle since Sept. All of my tests I’ve taken (home and at the health clinic) have been negative for pregnancy. I need to get an appt with my gynecologist, but have any of you experienced LACK of periods as a side effect with this pill? Mel

I took the day after pill on the 26 and now its ben 3 weeks. I been having spotting bleeding. though I notice it only when I wipe. I am expected to have my next pireod on the 21 or 24. Is it normal for wipe little dots of blood? Sandy

Hey. After having very drunken sex with not a regular partner nearly 3 week ago, i took the emergency pill as soon as the chemist open the morning after. Since then about a week later i had what i thought was a period, but it was only light and lasted 2 days. After only jus finishing my period the day before the incident i thought this was rather strange. My next period is due on saturday, and i’ve been having servere stomache cramps since monday? I’m now beginning to stress as i don’t really understand the whole light period thing. Being only 16, it was one stupid silly mistake, which i regret. I’ve decided that if i don’t come on by the weekend then i’m going to take a pregnancy test anyway. I’ll keep u posted. If anybody’s had any of the similar symptons, please feel free to let me know. Reading through these I see a number who talk about "unprotected sex with my boyfriend" which seems to be the popular, but wordy phrase, or who stopped using their regular birth control. Is this what you liberals intended for children? It would be my guess, based on the correct grammar, spelling and use of apostrophes, some of these are from older women, or they are made up fantasies. It's likely that all age restrictions will be removed, so I guess 5 and 10 years olds will be able to buy them too--no questions asked.

Girls or women taking Levonelle 2 therefore receive 1,500µg of levonorgestrel in the course of a day. By contrast, the Norgeston daily mini-pill contains just 30µg of levornogestrel. Levonelle 2 thus delivers 50 times the daily dose of the mini-pill.

The summary of product characteristics for Levonelle 2, a type of morning-after pill, states that patients who have used this type of pill and who nevertheless become pregnant should be evaluated for ectopic pregnancy. Other sources3 confirm this, and ectopic pregnancies are a significant cause of maternal deaths4.

Wal-Mart--will the left be happy now?

Wal-Mart will continue its international expansion. Yes, the world's largest retailer that revolutionized and streamlined the U.S. retail industry and brought about all the NIMBY activities will continue to grow. Just not here. In the U.S. Providing Americans with jobs. Especially all those industries from whom they purchased, all the private contractors from truck drivers to toy makers, to packagers. I'm assuming they'll continue to fuel China's economy; the goods will just be shipped to Brazil.

Spending on remodeling and adding new stores in the U.S. and Canada will rise only slightly to $4.8-$5.3 billion by Jan. 2010, from $4.5-$5.8. And to create this crunch in the economy, they didn't even have to wait for President Obama to take office for more environmental regulations, higher taxes on profits, more affirmative action hiring policies, more punitive health care demands, or the snooping into undocumented worker demands. They only needed to put a damp finger in the air to sense which way the wind is blowing.

Who is hurt the most? Low income and working class American families. They can't buy the low cost goods, can't get the jobs or contracts. NIMBYs used to hollar that a Wal-Mart hurt the neighborhood, but that isn't true, except in the same way hard surface roads hurt small towns as people drove 20-30 miles to the next city 70 years ago. And that happened in small towns years ago, long before shopping centers and discount houses.

I noticed that Rebekah Gee, a physician and the Robert Wood Johnson Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania Medical School, and daughter of President Gee of OSU will discuss “Taking on Wal-Mart and Other Women’s Health Policy Initiatives" at OSU. She must be recovered from the terrible accident that took her husband's life and injured her this past summer. I'm of the view that if a retailer doesn't want to provide Plan B abortions, they shouldn't be required to. Gee and two other women staged a need at a Wal-Mart then brought a suit. Story here. So no woman's right was violated; no little life snuffed. At the time, Wal-Mart was required by law in Illinois to carry the abortifacient (morning after pill), but not other states. Hmm. Was Obama in the legislature when that one slipped through?

I wonder what women will do when there's no Wal-Mart to run to or it's closed? Just say No?

Wal-Mart no longer stocks my favorite face cream. Maybe I'll sue. I will have to get it mail-order otherwise. It should be my right.

Why should I have to shop around?

Wal-Mart no longer carries the J.R. Watkins face cream I learned to love after purchasing it at the Port Clinton store last summer. I wonder if I can sue to require them to do so? Why should I have to shop around or send for it?

When I was researching the Gee accident story, I see Dr. Rebekah Gee, MD, MPH, an obstetrics and gynecology resident in the MGH/BWH combined residency program in Boston, was a plaintiff the Wal-Mart Massachusetts case forcing the mega-retailer to carry, Plan-B, a product the founders and owners find immoral and unhealthy. It kills embryos--it’s an early abortion without the trauma of thinking about a potential life.

It’s just amazing. Protesters try to force Wal-Mart to relocate or not build, denying jobs and low cost products in the area, and when they do jump through the hoops, they try to force them to change not only their business practices, but their personally held ethics and religious values.

Feb. 14, 2006 (Just in time for Valentine‘s Day, Wal-Mart announces it will carry Plan B) “A new [Massachusetts] state law that took effect late last year following heated debate on Beacon Hill requires all hospitals to provide the morning after pill to rape victims. It also allows pharmacists to dispense the pill without a prescription, but does not require them to do so. . . .

Sam Perkins, a lawyer for the three women, praised the board's decision and said he was prepared to file lawsuits in other states should Wal-Mart not overturn its policy. Abortion rights groups and women's organizations have also urged Wal-Mart to change its policy.

"From our point of view, they've bowed to the pressure of litigation, in part," Perkins said.

The plaintiffs — Katrina McCarty, 29, of Somerville, Julia Battel, 37, of Boston, and Dr. Rebekah Gee, 30, of Boston — were turned away when they tried to buy emergency contraception pills at area Wal-Marts.

The women said they knew they would be refused when they went to the Wal-Marts in Quincy and Lynn and that the action was planned with the abortion rights groups and lawyers.

"I'm proud to be able to tell my patients that they now can go anywhere for their prescriptions," Gee said. "My patients should not have to shop around." “

Gee’s attempt to fill the prescription was not personal, but a part of a planned action by abortion rights groups and Planned Parenthood. President Gee is a Mormon if I remember correctly. Should make for some interesting family discussions.

Now, will Wal-Mart be required to stay open all night, or to rush purchasers to the front of long lines at check-out? Will they need to stock kiosks outside bars on college campuses? How far do they need to go to satisfy the abortion lobby?
