PBS--who should judge information for children
This is why PBS does not have my support. They fear "right wing" but not "left wing" influence on education. To them, right wing is telling the truth about the universality of slavery, or using the words of the founders. I've watched hundreds of Prager U videos and usually have learned more in 5 minutes than hours/years in the classroom. But this article itself is narrow, one sided and just ridiculous. My opinion is just as valid as the "actors" in this script. Unlike the author of the article, I've actually watched them. Leftists rule our culture from education to entertainment to the judicial system, from sea to shining sea. Name the critics. I'm not alarmed if children see a Prager Video. Who are these "critics" and what is their political affiliation? What is the writer's standard? The 1619 project? As far as not being a "real" university, would that be the ones rioting and not allowing Jewish students in the classrooms and libraries while screaming Free Palestine?

Good PragerU video on D.I.E.
Good information. Don't be confused--diversity means divide and conquer. Inclusion means the opposite--exclusion. Equity is definitely not equality. D.I.E.
https://www.prageru.com/video/miseducated-the-decline-of-americas-schools
Why are schools obsessed with race and gender issues? Why are children learning revisionist history? Why are America’s schools teaching children to hate America—and each other? In Miseducated, PragerU Kids Director of Outreach, Jill Simonian, interviews experts who understand our K-12 education problem and are awakening America to the battle happening right now for the minds of our children.

Letter to a promoter for an interview
As my friends and family know, I've been writing this blog for almost 20 years (began October 2003). That's how I met some nice people whom I now follow on Facebook. So, I get offers to review books and do interviews. I did review some books, but I don't anymore, and have republished some canned interviews. Sometimes I get snarky and write back my opinions. I have no idea if anyone reads them. The one I received on Monday, January 17, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day wanted to let me know that young people aren't educated about MLK Jr. because "only 81%" knew about his "I've got a dream speech," and "only 82%" knew about the March on Washington. I think that's fantastic--they probably don't know the year their parents were born, or what happened on July 4. So, here's my response.
Dear XXXX
You’re not making a good case. Considering how LITTLE anyone, let alone youth, know about our history, if 81% know about the “I have a dream speech,” that’s fantastic! I know some who graduated from high school in 1986. One day I asked them a fairly simple question, "Which came first WWII or Vietnam War?" and they didn’t know! That’s the level of history education in our country, and we live in a great school district with high scores. What makes you think this is a lack of resources? I’ve seen Martin Luther’s statue on the internet identified as Martin Luther King! Our young people may know who King is but have never heard of Martin Luther. How many know Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Republican? Or that there were over 200 bills in Congress to fight lynching, and Democrats voted against all of them? You’ve got some buzz words in this message that tell your mission. . . “democratizing education,” “equal access,” “cause for equality,” “diverse backgrounds.” If you need to know how ignorant U.S. youth are, watch some of the Prager U videos or the Will Witt interviews on college campuses, “What is a conservative?” https://youtu.be/jVJO1IETjC8 Also notice how inarticulate the students are—except for the one or two who can define conservatism.
Also, MLK Day was the day I got your message—how would I do an interview BEFORE today?

Modern day slavery--labor, sex and children
Our book club selection today was "7 men and 7 women," by Eric Metaxas. Two of the individuals, William Wilberforce and Hannah More were English abolitionists. Amazing stories--and few people know of them, nor did most people of their era (18th century) know about the evils of slavery. Same thing is happening today. There's more slavery today than in the 18th century. Candace Owens interviews Tim Ballard who is fighting sex slavery--of children. The fastest growing criminal enterprise in the world is selling people. Most people don't know that. Now you'll have no excuse. Candace and Tim are telling you.

Candace Owens interviews Carol Swain
Knocked it out of the park! Candance Owens and Carol Swain today. Prof. Swain had been a Democrat all her life up to the Obama era, but even then was struggling against the victimhood idea,. She didn't like identity politics. Today's messages for young blacks are very destructive today. Progressives hate blacks--yes, she said it. Every generation it's something different--all the way to defund the police. They HATE black people. Now it's Covid (OK to riot without masks) and shutting down the schools. Everything progressives do hurt blacks more. And she called Critical Race Theory what it is--Marxism. She encourages whites to stop the bullying by using the Civil Rights laws--they protect everyone, not just blacks. Don't miss this one. She's a strong Christian, but wasn't for many years.

End of the year 2020 donations
Time for the end of the year donations list. We held off on our church pledge, but finally paid it because. . . we pledged early in the year. It has obligations to many other ministries and to its staff. Even if closed, the buildings have maintenance costs.
It's horrifying to watch this one, as you see every trick the Socialists pull on us in the USA.
There are many more like Brandon Tatum on How to end White privilege, Larry Elder on the Ferguson Lie, Mark Mills on What's wrong with wind and solar, plus many more.
I had no problem increasing our gift to Lakeside Chautauqua on Lake Erie. The staff did an incredible job of keeping the lights on and providing both on-line and live activities. We stayed an extra 6 weeks--there was nothing for us in Columbus. Lakeside has even increased its winter activity and has fabulous seasonal decorations and even a new restaurant.
But I particularly want to recommend Prager U. The lockdown probably benefitted those companies that have a heavy media presence. Its social media went to 9 million and 35 million different people viewed their content on YouTube, more than 10% of the U.S. population. In 2020 alone, their videos were viewed over one billion times, or about 4 million views every day. You can learn more in 5 minutes with Prager U than a semester in a college class. Clear, targeted, precise with great graphics and production values.
Are you confused about the Electoral College? Tara Ross's video got 65 million views. She's written many books and articles on this topic. Do You Understand the Electoral College? | PragerU
Carol Swain, a black Republican can set you straight on The Inconvenient Truth About the Democratic Party | PragerU. It's had 28 million views.
Take it from someone who's been there Felipe Moura Brasil as he explains How socialism ruined my country, with 22.3 million views. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=1364480493594803
Watch a Prager U video today and get the college education you deserve.

Finding information sources
With social media giants silencing conservatives and Fox News lurching to the left, we may have to find alternate information sources. I like the Canadians like Jordan Peterson, Janice Fiamengo, Gad Saad, and talkers like David Rubin, Candace Owens, PragerU, Turning Point USA, Lowder with Crowder, Lionel Nation, Matt Walsh, Hugh Hewitt, Larry Elder, Sebastian Gorka. But all these can go away in a minute, with a change in ownership, or pressure from the socialist mafia.
Also listened to a new podcast, Red Pilled America. Excellent information, in depth reporting and heartfelt opinion. https://redpilledamerica.com/blog/episode-18/ "Silicon Valley monopolies have taken control of the digital public square and censoring voices based on their belief systems. And if you think the government has nothing to do with this censorship, you are mistaken. Twitter recently admitted that politicians from both sides of the aisle want Big Tech to police our behavior."
Why do Blacks vote overwhelmingly for Democrats? https://redpilledamerica.com/blog/demo-home/episode-2-remix/
Fox at 3 p.m. was always liberal land--Shep--so today I turned on Newsmax while I was changing the bed. Pretty good. Howie Carr. Not sure who his sidekicks are. I'm also thinking of re-subscribing to Glenn Beck. His media empire has expanded. https://www.newsmaxtv.com/Shows/The-Howie-Carr-Show

What's happened to the media? Prager U can tell U
How did we come to distrust and dislike the press/media when their importance is mentioned even in our constitution? There’s now no objectivity, news articles contain vast stretches of opinion, and that is overwhelmingly liberal because each journalist wants to make a name for herself with her colleagues. Social media have also had a huge affect, and sales are dropping. After all, the USA is a capitalist country, a system that is virtually driving out poverty all over the globe; why advertise in a system that degrades you and your product? Someone referred to Washington Post as Washington Compost. Close. It's clearly a fish wrapper these days.

It is without question. . .
So don't you dare question me (or them)--you'll get that if you question "man made climate change." A belief system. It's a religion. The climate has been changing for eons; but today people are such navel gazers, they think they control the universe.

Lionel Nation is one of the talkers I'm using as I push Fox out of my office (it's gone liberal). That's not his real name, but he began calling talk shows while a law student, and now he has his own show.
Dennis Prager and his PragerU is always and excellent choice. Global warming/climate change it is money in new grants for academics and tax money of politicians.
