Words are violence, unless spoken by Democrats and the Left

When a homeless, Canadian alien who crossed our porous southern border, hits Nancy Pelosi's husband in the head with a hammer even after Pelosi answered his door and let the police in, the Democrats blame Republicans, Trump supporters and even Donald Trump! Not a word from Democrats that San Francisco, a sanctuary city, has become a cesspool under her watch, or a peep about no care for the mentally ill, or the fact the home was being "guarded" by Capitol police which Mrs. Pelosi oversees.

Democrats denied that Rand Paul when attacked in his own yard was in danger, and laughed at his pain and suffering--especially Pelosi's daughter, who said "His neighbor was right." He could have died and he had lung surgery. Yet the attacker Rene Boucher got a misdemeanor charge and the Pelosi attacker is being charged with attempted kidnapping of a Congress person or something ridiculous plus other serious charges because the victim was a Pelosi and a Democrat.

When a mentally ill man Jared Loughner shot Arizona's senator Gabby Giffords 15 years ago Democrats, of course, blamed Sarah Palin because there was a "target" in one of her political ads and that was enough to make her the attacker. Washington Post even claimed she was at fault--and later had to walk back that story and say there was no connection "established." Nice work, WaPoop.

Now there's been a mass shooting at a gay nightclub, and I've heard (although I haven't researched it--could be Twitter gossip) some are again blaming Trump and people who voted for him for a "hate crime." Democrats, who make violent disgusting public statements like insurrection or more serious than the Civil War, seem to believe their words don't matter. Do they think no gay people voted for Trump? That there are no gay Republicans? Do they own gay voters?

About 18 years ago there was a nightclub in Columbus that was the scene of a shooting, where 4 men plus the perp were killed (police shot him). Heavy metal music, some sort of band feud. The shooter had a history of mental problems with a military discharge and had wanted to be in the band. As near as I can tell from the photos, all the men including the policeman were white. No one called it a "hate crime." Same crime, with some diversity and inclusion, and it would be a hate crime.

I'm guessing from watching many crime shows, the 4 white college kids murdered in Idaho were killed by a white male who knew them, or at least one of them. If he's ever voted for a Republican, the Democrats will probably say Trump did it.

When 5 black college football players at University of Virginia were shot (3 died) by a black former player last week, where were the Democrats calling out all black football players as violent and racist? The shooter had a weapons violation and got a slap on the wrist for a hit and run. Where were the Democrats demanding tougher sentences for crime, because the shooter should have been in jail? As it is, because all were black, Dems have nothing to say.
Democrats' words. If they can't get political gain from a crime (race, gender, homosexuality), they just don't care.

Dennis Prager had Covid

Why would Washington Post care if Dennis Prager had Covid? WaPo published a long article on him when he announced he had Covid. It's not like people who have had the shot haven't gotten Covid, or died of Covid, nor that younger men haven't gotten myocarditis and pericarditis just from the shot. [see VAERS; it's an alarming number compared to other vaccines] He was sick a few days, and was back on the radio at work in 3 days despite being in the dangerous age group (and I might say, overweight, another of the co-morbidities).

Of course, that's a rhetorical question (needs no answer because it's obvious). It's a leftist newspaper, with staff who hated Trump (who got the vaccines on the market), and fights anything like Ivermectin and HCQ (recommended by Trump) that Big Pharma can't make a buck from because they are safe and easily available. Nor does it report anything negative about border jumpers who come in without a vaccine.

I've always been puzzled that a private business like a newspaper dependent on advertising (capitalism) would support Democrats, although that's also easy. They spend huge amounts lobbying for tax and business benefits. Essentially, Jeff Bezos, the owner of WaPo, is like a shadow government official. That way government can't control business, which is the way Conservatives would run government. Huge corporations like Amazon and Microsoft or Pfizer like higher taxes because they hurt the smaller business which might be competition in the future. It's like early abortions being less messy and easier than late term. Nip it in the bud, so to speak. Also, they can just move business off-shore. They can be smug and self-righteous about climate change or building codes or their daughters sharing bathrooms with boys because they'll never face the problem.

Can anyone defend a Biden decision or policy?

Bruce Zimmerman at The comment section for Washington Post asked me what had Trump ever done that was positive, so I told him.

Abraham accord
Energy independence
Border security
Support for the unborn
Judicial appointments of constitutionalist
Anti-war leadership
NATO--fair share
Operation Warp Speed when Dems said couldn't be done
Disruptor of corruption in both parties
Best economic progress for Blacks in 50 years
Freedom from Obamacare mandate
African-American unemployment has lowest rate ever recorded.
Hispanic-American unemployment lowest rate ever recorded.
Asian-American unemployment lowest rate ever recorded.
Women’s unemployment the lowest rate in 65 years.
4 million off food stamps
Biggest tax cuts and reforms in our history
Net natural gas exporter
Right to try medical procedure (which probably saved him from long hospital stay from Covid)
Big increase in military funding (which Biden threw away)
Got us out of the Iran steal
Hospitals to disclose costs
Animal cruelty a felony
Transparency and Competition for insurance companies
Bringing American companies home
Reductions of regulations strangling businesses

I did not support him in 2016, but he really opened our eyes (obviously not yours). Being a Trump supporter is an adult education like we've never had before. He was not indebted to either party and we really saw the fangs and claws come out when he began calling out the good old boys' club that is DC politicking. We saw the unelected bureaucrats rise up and defend their lives at the public trough. We knew the legislatures at the state and federal level had become very weak, but we really took notice on how the most insignificant judge on the lowest court could take on the president and prevent him from undoing the shady Executive Orders of the previous president.

We began to see why his slogan "Make America Great Again" was such an anathema to Democrats, increasingly controlled by its left flank. Why the red hats had to be snatched from heads, and ugly arguments started. Why the pink hats had to make women look like blood thirsty baby killers.
If you can't compare the current bumbling fool to a blustery business man that runs circles around him and see the difference, advice from an 82 year old former Democrat won't convince you.

Update by Anna: Let's add criminal justice reform, record funding for historically black colleges, and dumping NAFTA for the USMCA. The list of his accomplishments is endless, but liberals have not heard about any of them, because their preferred media sources don't report them. He probably accomplished more in 4 years and kept more of his campaign promises than any other president, and this while being attacked from all sides.

Beltway and Democrat followers of WaPo and Biden

The ignorance and banality I read in the Washington Post comments about Afghanistan and what Biden has done makes me fear for our country. I get the feed on Facebook and see the responses. Let's review.

1) Trump had a plan. . .wasn't great, but no one since 2003 had a better one. It was to bring the Taliban to the table and THEN withdraw leaving no military treasure, no Americans and no allies behind. Trump knew Taliban couldn't be trusted to keep the agreement and also committed to blow them to smithereens if they defaulted.

2) Biden did the opposite claiming it was all Trump's plan, and therefore his fault. In July Biden said it would be no Saigon--what he gave us was worse, so I suppose he delivered. Biden GAVE the Taliban the whole TABLE.

3) The country, the military, the air force the Taliban didn't have and Billions and Billions of armaments so they can control the middle east including Israel which all Muslims, particularly the fundamentalists wish to destroy were a gift from Biden.

4) Washington Post (mostly the beltway and Democrats) loyalists are so naive and gullible. They've always been so critical of Trump supporters, and now look like toddlers in a race against seasoned Olympians. No Trump supporter, even those who stormed the capitol on January 6, would fall for this.

Duck and cover. Washington Post Biden coverage

Here's how Washington Post describes Biden's Afghanistan fiasco: "The president embraces a cautious worldview that prizes alliances but also narrows the aperture of American influence, with greater attention on domestic concerns." Huh? This isn't just a lap dog media; it's a lap up dog excrement media.

Is Washington Post waking up to the truth about Covid relief

“Of the tens of billions of dollars allotted by Congress for emergency aid, only $1.5 billion had been spent by the end of May.” July 7, 2021 Washington Post

Whew.  Are they really catching on to the crooks in this business?

What is Black Lives Matter about? Marxism.

What is BLM really about? It's not race, so stop thinking "civil rights," or even "equal rights." It's about POWER and MONEY. Simple. Clarity. No different than the Reformation, or the Crusades, or even our own 18th century revolution which wrested the power from England and enabled the richest nation in the world to develop. The little guys get hurt, and the power brokers walk off with the fat purse.

This video is a tiny introduction to BLM, so take 3 minutes to be informed, to see what's really going on. Then you can trash all the nonsense you see in the liberal media and social media about "white supremacy" being the problem of the unrest. A recent report on white supremacy by Washington Post couldn't locate any problems on the Left, even with cities burning all last summer and Portland having regular explosions and attacks on police and federal buildings. Do you really think all these corporations are suddenly as "woke" as the college administrators? Now there's your "white supremacy."

  • Coke, MLB, Delta trying to destroy millions of jobs in black Georgia and taking the power and money to white Colorado.
  • If there weren't a pot of gold at the end of the trans/gay/black rainbow do you think they would give a flying fig?
  • Do you really believe that 3 white teenagers with rifles driving around in a pick up are destroying thousands of small businesses and the livelihoods of their employees?
  • Why do you think the SC story of a black former athlete killing 6 whites, including 2 children, disappeared overnight, yet the Columbus story of a policeman saving the lives of two black girls when he shot a third continues to make the rounds of the news? One story doesn't sell, doesn't meet the narrative, and the other does.
Stop believing a pack of lies by WaPo, NYT, LAT or the Columbus Dispatch; unhook from CNN and MSNBC. You've got the evidence; you have a brain. Find the independent journalist or reporter with a camera and a voice and dig in or lose your country.

The gatekeepers of wisdom and morality

Donald Trump and Mike Pence were elected to Make America Great Again in 2016. They were doing such a good job the DC quagmire got worried. Very worried.

Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Jack Dorsey, Jeff Zucker, Bill Gates (none of whom are black, brown, female or trans) and other not-so-famous heads at Vox, Daily Beast, NYT, LATimes and WaPo were not elected. Consumer dollars had voted them to rise to the top in their corporations which our capitalist economy had afforded them. They'd been allowed many tax breaks to become fabulously wealthy at our expense with the support of the swamp's tax laws.

Their gratitude for being allowed to set up shop in a free country was to go from publishing nasty opinion pieces to shadow banning to outright blocking and deplatforming the President when their efforts to collude with Democrats to remove him from office didn't succeed. Gone are the days when they lauded "free speech." Now they are lusting for more power.

They released an army of "fact checkers" so we can't question the 2020 election after they screwed the country over about the 2016 for four years. We can't publish or distribute books about the climate change hoax, transgenderism, the threat of the CCP and conservative principles, but they can go on forever about hate crimes. They control the narrative about Covid and January 6, stifling all the rights Americans have come to expect and respect. They tell you which words you can use to describe a disease. They cover for the Biden Crime Family deals with Ukraine and China,

We are their prisoners, they our gatekeepers.

Minority voices dominate the national conversation

R.R. Reno speculates in the January issue of First Things (p. 59) that the percentage of the American population that fits the progressive activist profile might be over 10%, but not much. That compares to about 13% for U.K. But as in Britain, they are many times more likely to hector the rest of us and broadcast their political opinions. Their voices dominate social media producing a democracy deficit. Progressives drown out alternative voices and stomp on dissent. This is compounded by the censorship of Big Tech social media giants using blocking and algorithms to steer you away from the conservative viewpoint.

Even today as reports of attacks by Antifa on Josh Hawley's home in DC, the Washington Post, that "prestigious, elite" journal of record, is downplaying the seriousness of assaulting a member of Congress, while running endless wokeism articles, less some snowflake have her feelings bruised. It directs it's coverage to that 10%. Called them "peaceful," sort of like that Iranian terrorist they called a "scholar." In an opinion piece, it called Hawley's ambition a threat to the Republic! As though Biden after 47 years of bumbles and fumbles and several runs for the WH isn't ambitious? They don't think Biden's chumminess with China and Iran are a threat, but Hawley defending the President's right to use all legal means to question election fraud is terrible?

Weird values and word choices those liberals/progressives/Communists.

Washington Post lied and was sued

A huge victory for equal justice under the law. "Hate" hoaxes, Fake News and false narratives must stop. After marching for life on a winter day, Catholic teenagers were intentionally framed by Leftist group(s) and media using decontextualized video. It was immediately promoted by Washington Post, Sojourners and many repeaters. Nick's lawyers filed a defamation suit for $250 million. It is one of six suits against media. Final settlements are undetermined. No more lying. Justice matters. Every human life matters to God.”   (Kelly Monroe Kullberg)

The Flynn unmasking

The names of private U.S. citizens caught on tape by U.S. intelligence are supposed to be “masked” so their privacy is protected. So why did 39 Obama officials ask for Flynn's unmasking? Some of the unmasking requests began BEFORE the conversation with the Russian ambassador. What did he know about Obama that had to be stopped cold? Flynn had served as Obama’s Director of the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) from July 2012 to August 2014 when he was “forced out.”

Debra Heine (PJ Media) back in 2018 explained:

"Obama already despised Flynn. But his hate likely turned to fear when his former DIA decided to throw his support behind Donald J. Trump, another boat-rocker who had a real chance of winning. Obama made a point after the 2016 election of advising Trump not to hire Flynn. But Trump didn’t listen.

Next thing Flynn knew, government spies were listening in on his innocuous phone conversations with Kislyak, his name was unmasked by someone in the Obama administration, and the contents of the call were leaked to the Washington Post (which remains the only serious crime to have emerged in the Russia investigation)."

The booming Trump economy creates a labor shortage

So many Democrats believe Trump's economy talk and tweets are "spin." They whine, post stupid memes, and have no respect for people trying to get ahead after Obama's 8 years of slow growth (except for the rich--they did well after 2009). That's because Washington Post, NYT, CNN and MSNBC mislead the sheeple, or just lie.

From today's Wall Street Journal:

"The remarkable jobs rally at U.S. small businesses continued in December. That’s according to the latest National Federation of Independent Business monthly employment survey, due out later today.

NFIB’s Chief Economist William Dunkelberg reports:
Job creation did not change from November, with an average addition of 0.29 workers per firm, the highest level since May. Net job creation had faded from February’s 0.52 workers per firm to September’s 0.10, but is back in strong territory. Finding qualified workers remains the top issue for 23 percent reporting this as their number one problem, 4 points below August’s record high.

The desire to hire among the owners of small firms remained robust. According Mr. Dunkelberg, “The 2019 small business labor market ended in much the same way as it began with strong hiring, elevated levels of open positions, and higher employee compensation.” Speaking of rising wages, the NFIB economist notes: “Attempting to fill open positions, historically high percentages of owners plan to raise worker compensation.”
In some industries, the competition for labor is especially fierce.

NFIB reports:
Sixty-two percent of construction firms reported few or no qualified applicants and 46 percent cited the shortage of qualified labor as their top business problem. Comparable figures for manufacturing were 63 percent and 24 percent respectively. Growth is clearly constrained in these important sectors by a shortage of workers."

The Washington Post today got it half right--reported on the booming job growth, but then attributed it to rising minimum wage! How dumb does a business columnist need to be (or who is threatening him) to write that? Minimum wage is a huge deterrent to a healthy economy. Wages are going up because of labor shortage--workers are promoted and new ones hired at good salaries if they can walk and chew gum. It's not rocket science, except for MSM. A very small number of workers even in recession made minimum wage, most made more.

In 1980, when the federal minimum wage was $3.10 ($9.41 in 2018 dollars), 13% of hourly workers earned the federal minimum wage or less. Today, only 2% of workers do. The number of federal minimum wage workers has decreased from 7.7 million in 1980 to 1.7 million today. This is partly due to states establishing higher minimum wages than the federal level. I guess Democrats want more people to be earning minimum instead of less?  I don’t get it!

Fact checking Trump’s lies

"Do Trump’s tweets contain lies? Galli (Christianity Today article condemning Evangelicals who support Trump) himself gives no examples, but the Washington Post on December 16 carried an article, “President Trump Has Made 15,413 False or Misleading Claims over 1,055 Days.”

What exactly are these alleged lies?

Strongest economy? The Washington Post article contains a link to their “Track Checker” webpage, where the “lies” are listed by category. The most common one (repeated 242 times) is Trump’s claim that that the US economy is now “perhaps the strongest economy in our country’s history.” But the Post says this is a lie because “By just about any important measure, the economy today is not doing as well as it did under Presidents Dwight D. Eisenhower, Lyndon B. Johnson or Bill Clinton – or Ulysses S. Grant.”

What the Post doesn’t tell you is that it depends on what you are measuring. The total economic output of the United States in Eisenhower’s last year (1960) as measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP) adjusted for inflation, reached a record high of $3.26 trillion. By 1968 (Lyndon Johnson’s last year) it had risen to $4.8 trillion. In Bill Clinton’s last year (2000), GDP was up to $13.1 trillion. The current projection for 2019 is that GDP under President Trump will reach $21.4 trillion. Therefore, judging by the total economic output of the United States, it is completely true to say that we are currently living in “the strongest economy in our country’s history.” Trump is not lying, but the Post is using some other measurement (such as percentage growth rate) in order to claim that Trump has told this lie 242 times."

One of my liberal Democrat relatives is supposed to be a whiz in math, yet he too makes this common mistake. Doesn’t adjust for inflation or doesn’t distinguish among rate, percentage, or number. It’s easy to lie for the fact checkers, too.

The Washington Post—a fantasy

I have a dream. No, it's more a fantasy. Jeff Bezos needs money (See? A fantasy since he's the richest man in the world). So he decides to sell the Washington Post which daily poisons the minds of elitist, sourpuss coastal Leftists and Democrats, those self-righteous, angry haters of America and those terrified of cleaning up the DC mess. He has every technological trick known to spew 1,200 articles a day, mostly anti-Trump . He doesn't get a lot for the fish wrapper in my fantasy--maybe $14.97--but a smart conservative snatches it up, and we again have a vibrant, interesting, fair and balanced, well-written, mature source of information and opinion in the land. We'll have real news instead of constant opinion written by 20-somethings. Some men want money, some want power. Through digital magic, he has both. [Businessinsider, this source, is also controlled by Bezos.]

Washington Post’s limp correction of Covington story

Washington Post's walk back of its false, misleading story on the Covington Catholic kids hasn't satisfied Mike Huckabee.

"But read WaPo’s statement and note what it doesn’t say (like “We apologize for getting this story completely wrong.”) It’s phrased like a bland “correction,” but their initial story didn’t need just a “correction;” it was the exact opposite of what actually happened and required a full retraction. For instance, the boys didn’t make offensive racist remarks to anyone, but offensive racist remarks were shouted at them. WaPo’s story was nothing but a lazy regurgitation of a leftist Internet hit job on some innocent kids just because they were wearing MAGA caps and coming from a pro-life rally.

As to WaPo’s weasely claim that the situation was more “complicated” that it first seemed: no, it wasn’t. They reported something they wanted to be true that was the opposite of what actually happened. That’s not “complicated,” it’s just plain old bias. "

https://www.mikehuckabee.com/latest-news?ID=1056A130-8284-4A79-9CC7-4046900BCBA8

Now that the richest man in the world owns WaPo, and he hates Trump and Republicans with a passion, it's hard to find any decent reporting in it.

Comments. . .

I suppose I shouldn’t feel too bad about what people say to me about my blog or Facebook Posts.  Arthur Brooks has just begun a new column at the Washington Post taking Charles Krauthammer’s old spot, and some of the endearing comments were:

  • Someone calling themselves Leaving weighs in with, “Well, this column is garbage.”
  • dogbath adds, “The personable but warped Mr. Brooks provides a second home for psychopaths at AEI.”
  • Benzaiten comments, “Ok I didn’t finish this article because it was becoming sappy nonsense.”

The internet is a cesspool.

That fish wrapper, Washington Post

If it were paper, it would be good to wrap the garbage. I glanced at the headlines in my e-mail Washington Post today, and noted 15 of the 20 articles were simply rants against Trump, or supporting those who have dissed him like Nancy Pelosi and Mitt Romney. The others, if I deep dived, would probably have swipes at the President, like the article on China's economy, or dysfunction in Congress which probably blame him. I did see an article about Spectrum (our cable carrier), so I'm not sure if that was about Trump, but I'm sure it can be twisted to fit the narrative.

The anti-Trump articles bring in vast amounts of money to the MSM, and they are first of all, capitalists trying to survive in an increasing competitive news field. And sometimes capitalism can be very dirty—like yelling hate speech at their competitors or trying to stop their stream of income through online payments.

Inside the beltway bubble

image

https://www.lifenews.com/2018/11/06/washington-post-columnist-if-you-vote-republican-youre-okay-with-racism/?

“Appearing on MSNBC Live With Craig Melvin late Tuesday morning, left-wing Washington Post columnist Jonathan Capehart accused anyone voting for Republicans in the midterm elections of being “okay” with “racism.” Asked later if some Democrats running in red states were “perhaps a little left of the center,” he dismissed such concerns and insisted they were just living their “truth.” “

Democrats and their crony media throw the word racist around like it was candy corn on Halloween. It has become meaningless.
