Communism has never been successful

Communists like Zohran Mamdani of NY believe the basic Marxist lie: wealth is stolen from the poor and his supporters are victims. The Marxist lie of the last 50 years has moved from worker to race: white man bad. The shift allows for more victims, since the ethnic Europeans are vastly outnumbered. Making the victims intersectional, only adds to the millions they've conned. Although if you've noticed, Mamdani is white and wealthy. He had a huge elaborate wedding (don't know the sex) back in his home country of Uganda from which his parents had to flee so he could grow up a rich kid in the U.S. His lies and those of Bernie, Pelosi, AOC and others, only work on the ignorant and those who've forgotten the 100,000,000 killed in the 20th century by his Marxist lies. For all its faults, free market capitalism has liberated more people from poverty than any other system. The middle class in the U.S. isn't disappearing--they've moved up. "Between 1820 and 2015, extreme poverty plummeted from 90% to 10% globally in that span. This statistic is one of the greatest accomplishments of mankind and should be celebrated as such."

Another tenet of Communism in addition to victimhood, is destruction of the family. This is one they work hard on through social media, entertainment industry, school system. Loyalty must be to the government, not God.

Communists like Mamdani and his colleagues called Democrats, Socialists and Progressives lie, cheat, steal the wealth of others, maim and enslave, as seen with our border crises, for their own gain. Those of you old enough to remember Stalin, it's the same lie with some definition changes. Their attraction is to the uneducated and the over educated at our universities.

Kamala's last stand--Hitler

So Kamala's last trick is. . . wait for it. . . Hitler. Trump is a fascist. Hitler in an apron being taught how to use a deep fryer. That's all she's got. If he were a fascist, I don't know how Big Tech and Big Pharma shut him up and shut him out while he was the president. Kicked off twitter and not allowed to say Ivermectin.

 
He pretty much let the governors do their job, and each state acted accordingly. He didn't take over. That's the constitution. (Ohio's Republican governor was just wishy washy, and I'm not sure what he did.) For abortion, he returned it to the states--and don't think that turned out well and there are now more abortions than before! He appointed 3 originalists (follow the constitution) to the Supreme Court. How is that fascist, Kamala? Even the late great Ruth Bader Ginsberg who was pro-abortion said it was never a good decision (no law was ever passed)--it was too far-reaching and too sweeping, and it gave pro-life activists fodder for the fight.

Tim Walz was more a fascist during the George Floyd riots than Trump was. He just let the brown shirts go crazy and burn down the cities. Kamala Harris when a DA confiscated guns and threatened in 2007 to have random police checks of private homes--a clear constitutional violation. She's the fascist in fact--not in theory.

 
There are about 8,000 minor females (aka children) who've had their breasts removed just for the political advocacy of an insane, demented group. It's an act of sexual violence worse than any child sex ring an Epstein or Weinstein could dream up. They don't really fit as Marxists, tribal gurus or populists. Unless you'd factor in the anti-family, anti-God people on the left. And again, that would be Harris, not Trump. There again, this is a local issue, and I'm not sure under which administration that particular viral movement had the most influence. I don't remember Trump appointing men pretending to be women to high government positions, but he could have. We know which party is LGBTQ occupied, although I can't figure out how the T figures in on that. It really makes no sense to say Gay is natural and good and then try to mutilate the body of a child who is confused about biology.

But politics isn't always about common sense. Common sense does tell you based on Trump's experience and the laws Kamala's already violated, that she fits her own narrative.

What is Woke and where did it come from?

This is a Wikipedia definition of WOKE. "Woke is an adjective derived from African-American Vernacular English (AAVE) meaning "alert to racial prejudice and discrimination". Beginning in the 2010s, it came to encompass a broader awareness of social inequalities such as racial injustice, sexism, and denial of LGBT rights. Woke has also been used as shorthand for some ideas of the American Left involving identity politics and social justice, such as white privilege and reparations for slavery in the United States."

That was then, the old days of 2010s, and you never know where a word will go once it escapes prison or academe and others start to use it. *Woke is now just shorthand for Critical Theory, or Critical Race Theory, and those are at their core, just Marxism--i.e., the American Left. The Left are a murky, tasteless porridge created by a bunch of old European (mainly German and French) white guys with a few other nationalities: Hegel, Marx, Engels, Nietzsche, Sarte, Foucault, Feire, and others. Hate for the Jews is several thousand years old, and God only knows where the gender lies and binary fiction came from, maybe Kinsey. In any case, it looks like black folk and the Squad can blame white academics for misleading blacks and causing so much mayhem.

A friend we met in Scotland: "I went to school in Scotland. An ‘accident’ of choosing the wrong parents, I was born a Jew (my mother). Raised Presbyterian. Today I watched an interview on i24 cable new with film director Ari Folman, well-known in Israel. He's been making some of the touching interviews with family members of those taken hostage October 7. The host asked him if he was surprised about the reaction from his friends and colleagues in the "west" in the industry. He hesitated, but concluded that they just didn't know enough. The "left wing liberals" didn't know enough to understand the gravity of terror, murder and evil. And I thought to myself, how naive. Critical Theory and Woke

One Lie at a Time

Today I listened to a Becket Cook show, "One lie at a time" that discussed the Norman Lear comedies of the 1970s-80s, like "One day at a time," "Maud," and "All in the family." He referred to Lear's sit-coms as promoting the Marxist plan to abolish the traditional family by demeaning the role of fathers, glamorizing or laughing at sexual promiscuity, promoting subjective truth and no boundaries values, and normalizing the secular humanist view. Becket had a successful career as a set designer in the Hollywood fashion world. He gave up that career and his flamboyant gay lifestyle when he became a Christian and went to seminary. You're pathetic.  You're digging and searching, and can't find anything.  Those of you who are Democrats supporting Biden (and many are not) are so misguided and confused, there should be a special service for you for mind healing. Now the plans are to do everything possible to inflate the J6 event, even though all the pink hat ladies (to simulate women's genitals which now they claim don't even belong to women) did more damage to property and patriotism on Trump's inauguration.  It's all you've got.  Claim a protest by a few hundred unarmed citizens was an insurrection planned by Trump. When thousands looted and burned all during his administration on behalf of BLM protests that a man with a long criminal record was wrongly killed by police resisting arrest,  and the Dems just sat back and smiled approvingly.

Blame for woke goes way back, embedded in academe

Michael Hurd posted a jolly photo of Michelle and Barack Obama linking arms with Jussie Smollett on Facebook, but I didn't care at all for the comments and blame posted with it. Conservatives weren't kind. Yes, what we were seeing may be three narcissistic black celebrities, but if you made your career in academe as I did, the roots and unraveling were there long before their time, 1970-2000. It was the privileged white professorial class, not a rising, wealthy privileged black class that embedded this oppressor/oppressed Marxist ideology into everything from elementary education to high tech/high touch culture. We're reaping what was sown. We allowed them to teach our children (who are now gen-x woke grandparents) and it took a tragedy like a totalitarian lockdown for us to "wake up" to "woke."

Wake up about Woke

Even with Republican Presidents Bush and Trump, the deep state was busy sowing dissent among government employees and had been for a long time. The current unrest--rioting, destroying businesses and tearing down statues--didn't start with the death of George Floyd or the Ferguson effect. It began in the 1930s in academe and by the time the rest of us "woke" up, it had taken root in most government agencies, and blossomed into our public schools, non-profits, think tanks, and the HR departments of corporations. Even some of our churches were reaping the thistle crops.

The FBI was holding workshops on intersectionality theory as well as diversity and inclusion.

 
Former CIA boss John Brennon, who lied under oath about Trump, declared he's infused with "white guilt" for being a white male. Brennan’s plan required diversity training and included agency-wide “unconscious bias” training.

The Department of Homeland Security was telling white employees they were committing microinequities and had been socialized to be oppressors.

The Army had launched Project Inclusion and is moving to stamp out "unconscious bias" a malicious theory that white people are born with inert bias in their genetic makeup that they are unaware of.

 
The Treasury Department was requiring training sessions to tell staff members that virtually all white people contribute to racism and needed to convert to "antiracism."

Sandia National Laboratories (nuclear) sent white male executives to 3 day reeducation camps and were taught that white male culture was analogous to the KKK, white supremacists, and mass killings.

 
This is loosely known as critical race theory and burbles with words difficult to define but quick to lob a bomb such as equity, diversity, inclusion, cultural sensitivity, microaggression, and links arms with transitioning of sexes, cisgender and militant feminism.

 
The movement is moving more quickly than most Conservatives can comprehend. Bush just grinned, and Trump was slow to do anything, or maybe couldn't imagine that our freedom loving, capitalist country was eroding so quickly. And then when he did take action, was roundly criticized by the MSM and Leftist think tankers using their template--racism. But he was the first president to act against this threat. Now Biden, of course, has it in full swing again, as you can see from his disastrous Afghanistan move with the weak generals.

Wake up, don't be forced to accept woke lies. Vote even in the lower level campaigns that you would usually ignore--city council, school board, judges, school and library bond issue. Remember, non-citizens are allowed to vote in some states in local elections. Who brings them in? Democrats. Write or protest to your representatives. Support the writers and speakers and pastors who are knowledgeable. Talk to your friends and neighbors. Speak up. The next time you're accused of racism because you have common sense and are a patriot, push back. Refuse the workshops on diversity training. Bring a lawyer if you must. Be the Paul Revere of our era--there's a battle to be won and they aren't slowing down. They've got a 30 year head start.

Remembering Communism by Michael Smith

I'm older than my Facebook friend Michael Smith, but we have some shared memories, except mine would begin with the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 and a Chinese college roommate in 1958 whose family had fled Communism and all my East European classmates whose families fled Communism:

I remember the violent suppression carried out by these Marxist/communist governments, something that Americans under the age of 35 only read about in history books. To them, China has always been open, there never was a USSR and they have never seen a communist state roll an army into a neighboring nation because they were insufficiently communist. They have never heard miraculous stories of daring escapes from East Germany and the terrible accounts of the 171 people killed trying to reach freedom.

So spare me the mealy-mouthed excuses for Marxism, the admiration of communist China and how a little socialism is a good thing for America. I saw what it looks like in practice. Socialism is the gateway drug to Marxism and Marxism is the precursor to authoritarian communism."

The Thanksgiving lockdown is so convenient

Sometimes we oldsters complain that "kids today" don't know American history as we learned it in the 50s and 60s. But we've learned in 2020 that our elected leaders don't know the history of the 80s and 90s or even the 21st century. A Thanksgiving lock down plays right into the hands of the far-left, cancel culture, kill the sense of national identity and destroy the family game plan. It's like a gift, wrapped with a big bow and delivered by Amazon.

The battle over Thanksgiving and its origins has been going on for at least 40 years. Nasty powerful white Europeans with guns and a foreign religion came and destroyed a benign, peaceful, close to nature indigenous culture. Thanksgiving is not technically a religious holiday, although all religious people understand WHO is getting the thanks. True, it's not called family day on the calendar, but families under any definition or "like family" gather to eat at a table of shared abundance, tell stories, play games and watch football. Marxists can strike their biggest blow--they are anti-religious and anti-family, particularly the nuclear family because those two support the "system" they wish to destroy.

This BLM advocate which Candace quotes primarily discusses personal property (your home, inheritance, retirement, etc.), which by its standards shouldn't exist at all, even for blacks.  Although she speaks of a voluntary system (because you are a white racist and should "give" things to blacks), the BLM manifesto says private property shouldn't exist at all. Only the party/government would control property on behalf of the "community." This is the rationale for destroying private property during the riots and looting after the Floyd death. It isn't yours anyway, so they have a right to destroy it.

BLM is a Marxist, not a Civil Rights, organization. (Churches are particularly behind the times on this point.) Under Marxism, personal property is virtually the original sin. Marxism also claims the nuclear family only exists to hold on to property through inheritance, so it has to go too. There is no intention by BLM to return to an orderly society with injustices solved.

Even human society is nothing but a phenomenon and form of matter, evolving in the same way. By a law of inexorable necessity and through a perpetual conflict of forces, matter moves towards the final synthesis of a classless society. In such a doctrine, as is evident, there is no room for the idea of God; there is no difference between matter and spirit, between soul and body; there is neither survival of the soul after death nor any hope in a future life. Insisting on the dialectical aspect of their materialism, the Communists claim that the conflict which carries the world towards its final synthesis can be accelerated by man. Hence they endeavor to sharpen the antagonisms which arise between the various classes of society. Thus the class struggle with its consequent violent hate and destruction takes on the aspects of a crusade for the progress of humanity. On the other hand, all other forces whatever, as long as they resist such systematic violence, must be annihilated as hostile to the human race.

10. Communism, moreover, strips man of his liberty, robs human personality of all its dignity, and removes all the moral restraints that check the eruptions of blind impulse. There is no recognition of any right of the individual in his relations to the collectivity; no natural right is accorded to human personality, which is a mere cog-wheel in the Communist system. In man’s relations with other individuals, besides, Communists hold the principle of absolute equality, rejecting all hierarchy and divinely-constituted authority, including the authority of parents. What men call authority and subordination is derived from the community as its first and only font. Nor is the individual granted any property rights over material goods or the means of production, for inasmuch as these are the source of further wealth, their possession would give one man power over another. Precisely on this score, all forms of private property must be eradicated, for they are at the origin of all economic enslavement .
