Philadelphia Department of Health complicit in Gosnell killings

It's great that we're passing the news along about Kermit Gosnell [which the media have ignored], killer of women and babies in Philadelphia. But now the focus needs to shift to the health department which turned a blind eye for over a decade, while this man made millions. Hospitals reported the damaged women that were coming to them. Injured patients reported Gosnell. Their reports went nowhere. One of the health department officials was a doctor who when in private practice had been referring teens to Gosnell. The women and babies were primarily poor and minority. I doubt that this collapse of public health is limited to Pennsylvania. Our local agencies are afraid to do anything about abortion clinics. Helping the poor is often just a platform for building a power base.

When a mentally ill man kills his mother and shoots up a school it is news 24/7 for weeks and the President takes the dead with him on a campaign tour to regain the House. When Gosnell kills far more for decades, making himself a millionaire, it is ignored by the media and the White House.
