Why 80 million Americans like Trump

I posted this a year ago, and nothing has changed, except the man in the White House is a puppet and a bumbling fool who took us all down in August over Afghanistan. We have sunk so far since January.

"Some people are with Trump because he's the only president who has ever been strongly pro-life. (me)
Others support him because he's the only president who has come through with solid, constitutionalists for all the courts (plural).

Others support him because he won't steal their legally owned guns.

Others support him because they want their good health insurance back which Obama stole from them.
Others love that he has done what no others have been bold enough to do with Israel and her enemies that surround her.

Others realize he's right to call out identity politics, critical race theory and the racists on the Left. It's systemic Marxism.

Others like him because they didn't elect the administrative state (aka deep state) to run the country.

Others know he doesn't judge by skin color or ethnicity but looks at skill, character, and quality.

Others love that he isn't wasting our tax dollars on international agreements that never benefit the U.S.

Others like him because he pushes back on behalf of the little guy."

March is women's history month, and four years ago they marched

Four years ago, apparently to "honor" women's history and rights, women were marching against President Trump. I wrote this on March 8, 2017. Still true today. Although I've never wanted to be a man, many days I am embarrassed to be a woman. And those "ladies" epitomized what's nasty and mean about women.

"Some women will be marching today against President Trump.
  • We know it isn't for the right to vote, because many have that and don't vote;
  • we know it isn't for higher education because they outnumber men in college;
  • we know it isn't for protection of Title IX because they believe biological sex doesn't matter and anyone can be a woman even a 6' 300 lb. male wrestler;
  • we know it isn't for higher salaries because most work for the government in some capacity either as teachers (average hourly wage about $60 according to BLS) or mid-level bureaucrats in local or state or federal government and they are paid more than in the private sector;
  • we know it isn't for freedom of religion or the right to own a gun because they want people to keep religion private and inside churches and want the 2nd amendment to go away;
  • we know it isn't for life from womb to tomb because they are pro-abortion;
  • we know it isn't to stop hunger because only 25% of Americans are "normal" BMI;
  • we know it isn't to crash the glass ceiling because women are free to make choices for career track;
  • we know it isn't to stop international slave trade in women for sex because they want to do battle against 18th century slave trade.
So that only leaves the obvious since for the last 8 years they just went to work and nothing is different today."

MLK and guns on January 20

Despite the violent threats he received every single day, Martin Luther King, Jr. was denied a gun permit. Government didn't agree he needed one, and local law enforcement told him to rely on THEIR provisions for safety, instead. (Glenn Beck) How appropriate that Virginians gathered peacefully and without incident with the collegiality of a Trump rally to protest Governor Northam's illegal grab for their guns and right to protect themselves on the day we celebrate MLK.

Why Donna left the Democrats—she didn’t—they left her

“Today I was asked why I moved politically, from center left, too hard right. My response was, I didn’t move. Nothing about my political belief system has changed. I still have a live and let live approach to life. I still believe who you sleep with or marry is your own business. I still believe in equality for all. I still believe the 2nd amendment is what levels the playing field and keeps us safe from threats both internal and external. I still have no religious beliefs but aren’t bothered by yours. I still believe social programs are vital but abused. I haven’t changed, they have.

They went from live and let live, to live the way I want you to or not at all. They decided equality isn’t really what they’re asking for now. Equality almost always equals some sort of special treatment they feel they’re owed and rarely has anything to do with equal treatment. They decided that there’s something inherently wrong with me because I was born white and I’m somehow responsible for every evil deed any white person throughout history has ever committed but will receive none of the credit for any of the accomplishments, not that I’d be any more deserving of accolades for someone else Accomplishments then I am for blame for their misdeeds. They have constantly and repeatedly over the years claim they are not trying to take away our guns while trying to take away our guns one baby step at a time. They have become the party of bullying, name-calling, harassment, and absolutely no tolerance for anything that doesn’t fit their agenda.

Nothing about me has changed.”

Guns purchased by Social Security recipients?

There is no national data base of the mentally ill that I'm aware of. Yet I know people concerned that the latest restriction on the 2nd amendment defeated on Wednesday was to protect us from them. Obama wanted to identify people based on their Social Security status as needing 3rd party assistance to receive benefits so they would be flagged in the National Instant Criminal Background Check System. Is that legal for denying other rights, like speech or religion or assembly? I can't imagine that advocacy groups for the disabled didn't take this on as a very slippery slope.

The man who robbed, raped and murdered a 21 year old OSU student last week as she left work probably wouldn't have been on that sweep of people who receive benefits, but he had recently been released from prison with a rap sheet, including sexual assault, going back to his pre-teen years. Is that a mental illness or just a very sloppy judicial system?

Obama's Executive Order squeaked through in late December probably just to irritate the gun lobby, but was first proposed in 2012 after the Sandy Hook killer was determined to be mentally ill. The problem is this rule wouldn't have caught him. He stole his mother's guns and first killed her before going to the school.

Trump has no blood on his hands; Hillary does

Trump is trying to rally and warn pro-2nd amendment Americans about Hillary's Supreme Court choices changing the face of America, and Democrats are calling it an assassination threat. Didn't they scream that about Palin using the word crosshairs in a campaign blaming her for Gabby Gifford's shooting? Democrats actually do kill thousands and thousands of helpless Americans every year, who can't fight back or even speak out, the unborn, so they are very quick to blame others to deflect their bad behavior and abortion for any reason, even sex, platform.

Now Hillary can deflect attention from her behavior which caused the deaths of Americans in Benghazi and focus on imaginary fiction building on Trump's calling for gun owners to vote.

While Democrats cry out about Trump's words, Republicans are doing a body count, adding up the suspicious non-combat deaths of journalists and DNC staffers in Hillary's wake during this campaign. Broadcast media will never report these "suicides" and "murders." I wouldn't even expect to see it in a poorly made PAC ad, although if it were reversed, Democrats would have the jail cell ready for Trump.

The Bill of Rights and our precious freedoms

There is no right to abort (aka kill) another human being in our Constitution or Bill of Rights. SCOTUS "found" that right in the 14th amendment--made it up. Fragile as a spider's web. We ARE absolutely guaranteed that the government won't deny us our religious rights, our speech, our right to assemble peacefully, our right to a "free" press, and our right to petition the government. If you know anything about western civilization* (which probably isn't taught anymore, you know why these are treasured freedoms).

And there's that 2nd amendment, which comes 2nd because it defends the first. It's no accident that while liberals whine about the 2nd and try to undo it, a much larger group of them are organizing against the first, particularly religion.

I have no problem with more checks on potential gun buyers, but that isn't the goal--destroying the 2nd amendment is the prize. And then those pesky freedoms outlined in the 1st.

*1215 (England) Magna Carta, somewhat evolved, from the unwilling King John by his rebellious barons, is signed. It will later be regarded as the cornerstone of liberty in England even though it was not for common folk.

1689 (England) Bill of Rights grants 'freedom of speech in Parliament' after James II is overthrown and William and Mary installed as co-rulers.

1787 Northwest Ordinance for new states and territories guarantees  trial by jury, habeas corpus, due process, and religious freedom. Excessive fines and cruel and unusual punishments were banned. Slavery was also banned in new territories.

1791 The First Amendment of the US Constitution guarantees five freedoms: of religion, speech, the press, right to assemble and right to petition the government.

How many American citizens are on the terrorist watch list?

  • Are any on the list in error?
  • What if 90% are foreign? They can't buy guns here under current laws, right?
  • How do you deprive a citizen of a constitutional right without a trial?
  • Do they go to jail or just lose their 2nd amendment rights?
  • Are we safer if they use a grenade or bomb?
  • Are there other rights we can lose for being on other lists--like being members of a church, for instance, and therefore can't exercise our religious rights?
  • Or rights to assemble?
  • Were Tashfeen Malik and Syed Rizwan Farook (San Bernadino) on a terrorist watch list?
  • Was Omar Mateen on a terrorist watch list?
  •  How does a terrorist watch list work if we're afraid of Muslims or being called Islamophobic?
Farook was a U.S. citizen; Malik a permanent resident; Mateen was U.S. born. Mateen had apparently been a trouble maker since elementary school, but was able to get security clearance to work for a Homeland Security contractor and his status as a Muslim protected him from co-workers complaints.
