The whole bucket of woke

To paraphrase podcaster Jason Whitlock (who was cheering on black men* who were commenting on the mug shot in solidarity because dual justice standards is something they know): "It's not about Trump." For me, it's also not Trump; it's the whole bucket of woke the Democrats are throwing at us. It's CRT, Covid, the lockdown, the privileged students' loans, climate hysteria, loss of our borders, mutilation of children who've been brainwashed about gender, imported drugs from Mexico via China, corruption in the acronym agencies (FBI, CIA, FDA, CDC), silenced churches, ridicule of patriotism, and men in women's spaces, sports, and make-up, dual standards from media reporting on Trump with screams and protecting Biden with silence. It's all of it. As Jason says, "Trump is an Avatar." (embodiment or personification, as of a principle, attitude, or view of life)

The First Amendment has been shredded by U.S. government agencies

"The FBI was not the only one to flag content. The Department of Homeland Security and several state governments notified Twitter of content they thought was problematic. Some of this was done through the Partner Support Portal, an outlet constructed by the Center for Internet Security, a partner organization with the DHS.

"What most people think of as the 'deep state' is really a tangled collaboration of state agencies, private contractors, and (sometimes state-funded) NGOs. The lines become so blurred as to be meaningless," Taibbi concluded."

Michelle Malkin post of March 11, 2020

Down memory lane with early pandemic essays, but has anything changed?

Here are some plain, nonhysterical facts: The U.S. Centers for Disease Control is a bloated federal government agency with a long history of incompetence, fraud, secrecy, mission creep and shady alliances with both social justice causes on the left and private corporations on the big business right. The "deep state" of entrenched bureaucrats embedded in the Beltway bowels is alive and thriving at the CDC. The unelected elites who've occupied top offices at the public health-industrial complex are hostile to public scrutiny while clamoring for ever-ballooning budgets. Their recommendations have often been detrimental to citizens' well-being and freedom.

And, yes, many of the scientists who work there are rabidly anti-conservative and anti-Trump.

It's a brazen lie that President Donald Trump "slashed" CDC funding, which is being used as an excuse for the agency's coronavirus unpreparedness. Cognitively impaired and truth-challenged Joe Biden made the claim during last week's Democratic debate that these purported "Draconian cuts" put Americans at risk. But Trump's budget proposal to cut some sliver of CDC fat has never been enacted, and Congress increased funding, instead.

At nearly $7 billion, CDC's annual budget is more than 200 percent larger than it was two decades ago. On top of that, a shady big business lobbying group called Corporate Friends of CDC has raised hundreds of millions of supplemental dollars — which raises serious conflict-of-interest issues. In 2007, Sen. Tom Coburn's fiscal audit of the agency discovered vulgar expenditures including CDC syphilis prevention funds spent to host a "safe-sex" event with a porn star, CDC HIV/AIDS prevention funds spent on a transgender beauty pageant, and $45 million in CDC funding spent on conferences featuring prostitutes, protests and beach parties.

Despite the flood of money, the agency been caught flat-footed on outbreak after outbreak. They squander untold millions on other health threats in favor of pushing gun control and nanny state hobby horses (TV violence, helmet laws, video games, anti-bullying campaigns and explicit sex education, for example). CDC has one primary job — Disease Control — but has managed to botch it without ever learning from past failures. Let me remind you of some of the CDC's long history of royal screw-ups:

—The notorious 1976 swine flu vaccine scandal was catalyzed by mass hysteria whipped up by CDC junk scientists clamoring for more money; Congress obliged and nearly 45 million Americans were unnecessarily jabbed with a vaccine for a disease that had fizzled by the time the shots were ready. The vaccine resulted in an increased risk of developing Guillain-Barre syndrome — leading to muscle weakness and paralysis.

—In 1999, the CDC misspent $22.7 million appropriated for chronic fatigue syndrome and was investigated in 2001 for squandering $13 million on hepatitis C research.

—In 2000, the agency essentially lied to Congress about how it spent up to $7.5 million earmarked each year since 1993 for research on the deadly hantavirus. "Instead, apparently without asking Congress, the CDC spent much of the money on other programs that the agency thought needed the funds more," The Washington Post disclosed at the time. The diversions were impossible to trace because of shoddy CDC bookkeeping practices.

—In 2009, the CDC recalled 800,000 doses of swine flu vaccine for children ages 6 months to 3 years after the products manufactured by Sanofi Pasteur failed potency tests.

—In 2012, the CDC's main building housing infectious anthrax, SARS and monkeypox gases was discovered to have been leaking deadly pathogens due to a flawed engineered airflow system.

—In 2014, the CDC's lackadaisical response to Ebola virus gave the greenlight to Patient Zero Thomas Eric Duncan and infected medical personnel to board commercial airlines while ill — exposing untold numbers of travelers to the deadly disease. Expensive isolation chambers that had been subsidized by taxpayers to the tune of $15 million sat buried in a Georgia warehouse.

—For the past few years, the agency has employed a fear campaign to induce Americans to get regular flu shots (formulated based on guesswork) using flawed statistics and despite international scientific conclusions that there is "no evidence" to support the CDC's assumptions that the vaccine reduces transmission of the virus or the risk of potentially deadly complications.

—Just this week, the Informed Consent Action Network reported astonishing results from its lawsuit against the CDC to obtain scientific documentation for the agency's claim that "vaccines do not cause autism" — specifically for the first seven vaccines given to your child in their first six months of life. CDC had stonewalled, and then finally produced 20 studies — 18 of which were irrelevant to ICAN's public records request and two of which suggest that vaccines may indeed cause autism. In other words: The CDC is lying while continuing to smear vaccine critics as "conspiracy theorists" and public health threats.

As if to underscore my point about this agency's misdirected priorities and rank political pandering, the CDC director this week found it more urgent to condemn Republicans as racist for accurately describing the origins of the virus from Wuhan, China, than to do his job.

Informed diagnosis: The "best people" — who have now been rewarded with more than $8.3 billion in new "emergency funding" — are not in charge.

Why 80 million Americans like Trump

I posted this a year ago, and nothing has changed, except the man in the White House is a puppet and a bumbling fool who took us all down in August over Afghanistan. We have sunk so far since January.

"Some people are with Trump because he's the only president who has ever been strongly pro-life. (me)
Others support him because he's the only president who has come through with solid, constitutionalists for all the courts (plural).

Others support him because he won't steal their legally owned guns.

Others support him because they want their good health insurance back which Obama stole from them.
Others love that he has done what no others have been bold enough to do with Israel and her enemies that surround her.

Others realize he's right to call out identity politics, critical race theory and the racists on the Left. It's systemic Marxism.

Others like him because they didn't elect the administrative state (aka deep state) to run the country.

Others know he doesn't judge by skin color or ethnicity but looks at skill, character, and quality.

Others love that he isn't wasting our tax dollars on international agreements that never benefit the U.S.

Others like him because he pushes back on behalf of the little guy."

2022 elections—Freedom of speech and assembly

I think this will be the big issue for 2022 elections. Silencing us. Using non-government entities to destroy our First Amendment rights.

Sarah Sanders who is running for Governor of Arkansas:

"From "cancel culture" to big tech censorship, liberals are determined to dismiss, defeat, and repress any opinion that isn't in line with theirs.

They even went as far as banning a then sitting President of the United States from all platforms."

Right now, they are attacking supporters of the President who went after the swamp, but others are being silenced too. Doctors, lawyers, librarians, teachers, professors, entertainers and business owners are questioning the unproven medical advice and policies related to the pandemic. They are being silenced, whether or not they are the president's supporters. Time to step out and speak up. Stop cancel culture in your schools, churches and non-profits. Stop the scam. Stop the lockdown. Know what's going on in your state and community.

And you Democrats will be silenced next. Learn from history. Germany, Russia, China, Venezuela, Cuba and others have much to teach you.

Fiona Hill is right—the nation is being torn apart . . . by the Democrats

"The impact of the successful 2016 Russian campaign remains evident today. Our nation is being torn apart. Truth is questioned. Our highly professional and expert career foreign service is being undermined." Fiona Hill opening statement, Schiff Show aka Impeachment Hearings

Jeffrey Varasano: This woman [Hill] is an undeniable loyal agent of the deep state, pushing the hoax that Russia elected Trump. To this day they have yet to come up with a plausible theory, or even an implausible one, to explain why Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Michigan voted for Trump. Whose vote was switched and how? One hour's worth of MSM propaganda exceeds in breath all of the supposed Russian media influence. Her "highly professional and expert career foreign service" did nothing to stop China, Iran, Russia, or global graft on a grand scale. We saw you experts loading piles of cash onto pallets to jet off to Iran and we voted you out. But you won't leave.

FBI Lovebirds play

The play FBI Lovebirds: Undercovers   is a “ dramatized staged reading of text messages between Trump nemesis FBI Agent Peter Strzok and his lover, fellow FBI Agent Lisa Page and their subsequent interrogation by a congressional committee. Dean Cain (Gosnell, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman) and Kristy Swanson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Pretty in Pink) play the roles of Strzok and Page. The staged reading premiered this summer at a theater in Washington D.C.

Politico called the play “Hamilton for the MAGA crowd.” National Review praised Cain and Swanson’s performances, stating that the play left the D.C. audience “howling.” Townhall also praised the lead actors and stated that FBI Lovebirds: Undercovers is a “hilarious glimpse into DC.” Even Vice News on HBO ran a story about the production, calling it “the most dangerous play in Washington, D.C. . . .

On October 7th at 9PM EST, FBI Lovebirds: Undercovers will be uploaded to YouTube, where millions more can access it and learn the truth behind the Mueller Report. “

Trump, the Tranies, and the Deep State

Some time during the 2012 election cycle people in the deep state of the Obama administration made it clear to him that he would need to follow the LGBTQ agenda or else (some think that they had planned to out him, which would have little impact today, but might have in 2012) and all of a sudden Obama discovered gay marriage and transgender agenda were "human rights," whereas to get elected in 2008 both he and Ms. Clinton were staunchly pro-marriage as it had been understood by pagans, Buddhists, Muslims and atheists and our Founders since the beginning of recorded history. Unfortunately, these same agendists and gender-fascists also have Trump's ear and are still manipulating American citizens in the bathroom and pronoun wars.
"The Trump administration should pull away from the politically correct beliefs of the previous administration and examine carefully, with a new presidential task force if necessary, the psychological and medical science associated with attempts to help youth with transsexual attractions." The same party that booed God

"Dozens of congressional staffers erupted into boos, jeers and even vulgar gesticulations Thursday when President Trump appeared in a video at the Congressional Baseball Game at Nationals Park."

I have no proof since I wasn't there, but I can guess which party disgraced itself with the poor sportsmanship of the deep state. (Washington Times source)

And then there's this nice guy. . . A New Jersey Democratic strategist James Devine is not sorry for adding hashtags to tweets to hunt Republicans he posted after the shooting at a GOP congressional baseball practice Wednesday, which critically injured House Majority Whip Steve Scalise. He's saying yes it's insensitive and he doesn't care. What a creep. Someone should report him to the police. He says Scalise deserves it because he supports 2nd amendment rights and then spewed the lie about Sarah Palin, trotted out by the NYT again in fake news.

Why sue for information that is public about criminals?

Names of released alien criminals is a matter of public record, but Judicial Watch is suing the Trump Administration for the names of those released during the Obama years. Why do they need to sue for what should be readily available? More examples of the illegal behavior of the "deep state" which continues unabated, regardless of who is in the White House.

http://www.judicialwatch.org/press-room/press-releases/judicial-watch-hearing-monday-june-5-homeland-security-assertion-privacy-rights-prevent-release-names-freed-criminal-aliens/

94% of DC and 87% of the surrounding counties voted for Hillary Clinton. This is the career workforce that makes up the deep state, or the so-called "swamp." Having an outsider in the White House is terrifying, even to many Republicans and Libertarians who wanted an old time pol who knew the game moves and rules. In general, Republican leaders have spaghetti spines--it's so much easier to go-along to get-along, and they are flummoxed by a man who won't play their games.

Republicans in DC have been the paramour/significant other for so long, they don't know how to be the legal partner in a marriage with rights and responsibilities.

Comey the leaker

"My judgment was I needed to get [the memos] out into the public square," Comey said. "So, I asked a friend of mine to share the content of the memo with a reporter. I didn't do it myself for a variety of reasons, but I asked him to because I thought that might prompt the appointment of a special counsel."  I wonder how "I asked a friend.." works in murder or a robbery?

Gob smacked is what Judicial Watch described their reaction. We weren't in the country during the testimony--blissfully unaware traveling in Scotland. But I think everyone is shocked by Comey's illegal behavior of leaking his memo--but one more piece of evidence in Trump's favor.  It was worse than even Trump suspected.  I don't expect the Never Trumper Republicans to eat crow.  Comey is another Reality Winner (NSA contractor), just another member of the Deep State attempting to thwart the November election.  Trump is not our problem--it's the unelected.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SQ1MDKlgrnE

"The testimony of James Comey proved long on atmospherics and short on ethics. While many were riveted by Comey’s discussion of his discomfort in meetings with President Trump, most seemed to miss the fact that Comey was describing his own conduct in strikingly unethical terms. The greatest irony is that Trump succeeded in baiting Comey to a degree that even Trump could not have imagined. After calling Comey a “showboat” and poor director, Comey proceeded to commit an unethical and unprofessional act in leaking damaging memos against Trump."   http://thehill.com/blogs/pundits-blog/the-administration/337160-opinion-the-damaging-case-against-james-comey

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2017/06/09/yes-james-b-comey-is-a-leaker-but-all-leaks-are-not-created-equal/   Washington Post, of course, says not big deal. Who knew?

The Comey story is dead, done, zip. Nothing against Trump, all against Comey.  Democrats had to move on, and then came the shooting and bumped their crushed hopes off the front page.

How will the President fight the Deep State?

" “Drain the Swamp!” is a great line to shout at a protest, or to chant during a march. It’s a wonderful exclamation with which to close a theme in a campaign speech, and it’s well worth doing. But actually doing it, when the time comes, is hard.

The Deep State is the reason that Draining the Swamp is so hard. When we talk about “the state” in this context, we’re not talking about one of the fifty, we’re talking about government in general. It’s made up of elected officials, and their political appointees, and all the civil servants, from newbie to career, who fill the massive government of the United States of America.

. . . The Right has an institutional disadvantage in this struggle [between the swamp and the deep state]: as a general rule, conservatives don’t want to work for government; liberals do. So when liberals enter these agencies, especially at the outset, they are more likely to remain, safely Hatched, for their entire careers."

 http://illinoisreview.typepad.com/illinoisreview/2017/03/the-deep-state-the-institutional-barrier-against-draining-the-swamp.html

A long but excellent article.  It's going to be a very long, hard fought battle.
