Why I still support President Trump, musings and opinion

In 2016, I was not an enthusiastic Trump supporter. But I saw results in his presidency I hadn't seen in my entire life.

1. Lots of presidents have claimed to be supporters of the unborn, the weakest and most fragile of all Americans. He's the only President who has been their advocate, both in supporting the larger political pro-life movements and organizations, but in attempting to reduce the demonic threat of Planned Parenthood. I'm a one issue voter, because without life, the other advantages of being an American don't matter. His was not just a campaign promise. He took action and provided moral support.

2. Being a Trump supporter is an adult education like we've never had before. He was not indebted to either party and we really saw the fangs and claws come out when he began calling out the good old boys' club that is DC politicking. We saw the unelected bureaucrats rise up and defend their lives at the public trough. We knew the legislatures at the state and federal level had become very weak, but we really took notice on how the most insignificant judge on the lowest court could take on the president and prevent him from undoing the shady Executive Orders of the previous president.

3. We began to see why his slogan "Make America Great Again" was such an anathema to Democrats, increasingly controlled by its left flank. Why the red hats had to be snatched from heads, and ugly arguments started. Why the pink hats had to make women look like blood thirsty baby killers.

• 3-a The United States has been horribly weakened by foreign infiltrators who fund and support Communist movements within. These movements rewrite history and try to destroy positive gains in the last decades in race relations, class distinctions, and age discrimination.  Peaceful, cooperative Americans are a threat to global power.
• 3-b Hard work and ambition were renamed by these demonic forces as "white privilege" even as blacks had become some of the wealthiest opinion makers and most powerful politicians in our country, and there are 2 full time cable channels (all white) devoted just to Spanish language programming.
• 3-c Every difference in culture or preference or speech was shouted down as microaggression and dog whistles.
• 3-d Minorities were demeaned by the Democrats and Never Trumpers as being helpless victims if they tried to leave the party or start a successful business.
• 3-e The police were caricatured as criminals even though statistics for police violence were at an all time low, and black on black crime was rising again. The leftists were so panicked that with the help of members of Congress, they began demands to "defund" the police and replace them with social workers, as though criminals were just misunderstood children.
• 3-f National pass times and leisure industries like sports, late night TV "comedy," social media, theatre, movies and the overwhelming liberal and classist academe industry joined forces to ridicule and finger point at the outsider in the White House, who knew a better way to reduce the size of government and raise incomes for all.
• 3-g While Trump worked quietly to get a better balance in the courts, he was very successful, and unless the new appointees lose their love for the Constitution, future Americans will not have the burden of a plastic ever changing law based on the feelings and personalities of the judges.
• 3-h The international events have been incredible. The Leftists gnashed their teeth when Trump soothed the little North Korean despot, and they swore it would be WWIII. Trump got us out of ridiculous international agreements which would allow China and India to move ahead, while we Americans paid higher taxes for their pollution. The accomplishments in the Middle East should be his biggest legacy and the previous presidents from Carter to Clinton to Bush to Obama, should hang their heads in shame for at least not moving the capital of Israel as they all promised and then "forgot" has their loyalty to Muslim dictators took over.
• 3-i  The virus that began in Wuhan, China, and spread all over the world, the leftists finally had to blame on President Trump. His operation warp speed they’ve tried to belittle and demean because it’s never been done before as a business man would tackle a problem. The Left can’t let this stand, and will blame every death on Trump rather than those politicians who continue to welcome foreigners (especially Chinese) into their cities where it spread beyond control.

4. Perhaps we were most educated about the role of media in our culture and politics. Never (with the exception of Mrs. Abraham Lincoln) has a FLOTUS been so maligned or ignored, criticized for her accent, her good works, and even her Christmas decor! Never has a president with Jewish in-laws and grandchildren been called a Nazi--but then, have we ever had a President with a Jewish daughter? The media criticized his business acumen and properties, while ignoring the clear criminal behavior of Joe and Jim Biden, and Hunter Biden. We saw a news media who were completely not interested in investigation, truth, history, the Constitution, or anything other than the commands from above, like Zucker on CNN. Although we have many more outlets for information, with hundreds, maybe thousands of podcasts, blogs, vlogs, "expert witnesses," independent researchers and writers, we also have a constipated traditional media begging for clicks on their websites, and being wolves in sheepskins. We’ve seen the media report only on “peaceful” protests of BLM and Antifa, for fear it might anger their growing left wing audience. And then blame their crimes on the President.  Yes, we’ll all remember the summer of 2020 as many blacks died but the media only cared about George Floyd.

5. We've seen how words that used to have meaning, like racist, Nazi, white supremacist, terrorist, have all been made meaningless by the new "woke" mentality--pieces of rope on garage doors or hoaxes perpetrated with great attention like Jesse Smollet's, when in fact President Trump has done more for minorities in education, prison sentences, rising income and lower unemployment than any president in my life time. And he's done it by NOT treating them as helpless victims who need government assistance. He's treated them as people worthy of respect--and for that he's called a Nazi. As an aside, we've been educated that half of educated Americans don't know that a National Socialist (Nazi) and a Communist are brothers under the skin, one with local plans to invade and take over, and the other with global plans. Either way, Trump has done neither--hasn't invaded any countries with which we share a border, and he hasn't worked with China to infiltrated other countries. 

Where’s the special laws to protect white men?

Women today get the majority of college degrees in America. It doesn’t matter what kind — associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral — women beat men in all the categories. And that article was 5 years ago. It's even more unbalanced today. For over a decade in many cities and age groups, they far out-earn their male counterparts. Yet the media and academe continue to ignore the fact that the gender gap favors women, not men, and it's growing. I retired almost 20 years ago, and during searches for higher level jobs, if male and female candidates were pretty much equal, you could bet the job would go to the woman, because of her biology, not her expertise. Men are being sent to the back of the bus, or thrown under it. But in pathology--mental illness, drug use, alcoholism, accidents, etc. men vastly outnumber women. Women outlive men. Meanwhile men are ridiculed on TV and in movies where young boys are getting their cultural cues. Males are demanding to be called females--maybe they think the jobs and awards will open up?

Where are the special studies and think tanks to help men? Where are the special laws to protect men?

And where are the special programs and laws to help white people? And that includes Europeans, Egyptians, Indians (Asia) and other fair skinned populations who have immigrated to the "new world"--the United States (70% white) Canada (90% white), Mexico (60% white) Puerto Rico (76% white) and central and Latin America? In the U.S. if a person has a Spanish (European) surname for some reason he/she gets a special ethnic category that a German or English surname doesn't.

Whites are a minority in the world population, yet the Leftist/Marxist/Communists in the U.S. ignore all our laws about hate speech and hate crime where whites are targeted. The Leftists can call whites any nasty word they want and they don't lose their jobs! Chick fil A or Salvation Army or Hallmark movies or Catholic nuns and high school students, no matter, white people are maligned, blamed for sins of long dead ancestors or others' ancestors, or ridiculed, called racist and stupid, yet no one stops them. No one sends out the social justice warrior army to go after their attackers. In fact, they enlist glamorous white celebrities to snarl at and ridicule white people who have less income than they do. What's going on? Are pale people that much stronger, moral and braver than other groups that they should put up with this?

“Today I was asked why I moved politically, from center left, too hard right. My response was, I didn’t move. Nothing about my political belief system has changed. I still have a live and let live approach to life. I still believe who you sleep with or marry is your own business. I still believe in equality for all. I still believe the 2nd amendment is what levels the playing field and keeps us safe from threats both internal and external. I still have no religious beliefs but aren’t bothered by yours. I still believe social programs are vital but abused. I haven’t changed, they have.

They went from live and let live, to live the way I want you to or not at all. They decided equality isn’t really what they’re asking for now. Equality almost always equals some sort of special treatment they feel they’re owed and rarely has anything to do with equal treatment. They decided that there’s something inherently wrong with me because I was born white and I’m somehow responsible for every evil deed any white person throughout history has ever committed but will receive none of the credit for any of the accomplishments, not that I’d be any more deserving of accolades for someone else Accomplishments then I am for blame for their misdeeds. They have constantly and repeatedly over the years claim they are not trying to take away our guns while trying to take away our guns one baby step at a time. They have become the party of bullying, name-calling, harassment, and absolutely no tolerance for anything that doesn’t fit their agenda.

Nothing about me has changed.”

Charges of White Privilege

The charge of “white privilege,” or “White supremacy” hurled at Americans of European and other area countries is a way to shame, bully and induce guilt, whether or not you personally intended it that way. Shaming and bullying are also how abused women, slaves, trafficked children, and elderly are kept quiet. It’s as old as slavery. And Trump voters and conservatives of any stripe are the victims. The Left knows this well—their ideology killed 100 million in the 20^th century, and it didn’t all start with gas chambers, reeducation camps, or storm troopers. Right now, the charges are justifying creating data bases of Trump supporters so they can be publicly shamed or lose their incomes; it justifies Google CEOs for creating winners and losers in elections via social media; it justifies attacking people wearing read hats, with or without MAGA stitching; it justifies 95% of academic faculty being liberal and only those promoted and tenured; it justifies knocking down buildings and statues not just of Confederate generals (all of whom were pardoned by the U.S. government) but founders and current members of Trump cabinet.

I am more concerned about parents dragging children (and some not their own) across thousands of miles in very unsafe conditions subject to weather, assault and separation from grandparents, extended family and home than I am of well run detention centers where they are well fed and housed, and safe from traffickers (which was the intention of that regulation). Millions have been subjected to that illegal border crossing—only hundreds to detention centers, which are quickly emptied as parents’ (or other adults) cases are resolved, most to float out into the general U.S. population. I’m very concerned that U.S. border patrol is babysitting rather than keeping the borders safe for both Americans and Mexicans from all the non-Mexicans, including ISIS fighters, who cross without a problem.

I’m very concerned that the Leftist organizations and politicians have made illegal immigration an issue of race and color (and over 80% are NOT “people of color”) because they know charges of racism turn on the white guilt to shut people up and garner donations from Democrats. We have more children on the streets with brain addled homeless parents than in detention centers, but they would probably be safer, cleaner and better educated if instead of the squalor of San Francisco, they were in an Arizona facility.

Racism in the library profession

I've often mentioned at my blog the overwhelming list to the left of the library profession--a study done about 20 years ago said 223:1, making the profession more liberal than the ACLU, most university faculties, and probably the American Communist Party. So Library Journal (the "premier" publication of the American Library Association) this week tweeted "Library collections continue to promote and proliferate whiteness with their very existence and the fact that they are physically taking up space in our libraries." The journal's Twitter account then linked to an article [it was a blog] written by a Sofia Y. Leung, who describes herself as an "academic librarian" and lists intersectional feminism, social justice, and cats as things she likes. LJ should be ashamed for providing such drivel and being so racist--even if it was a blog post by a nobody.

I'm not surprised libraries are rolling in whiteness. The public library movement was started by women's clubs who thought literacy was important for 20th century Americans. The clubs, were social and educational and like the nation, segregated, but both white women and black women developed what came to be known as the public library--open to all who lived in the community or a small fee for those outside the jurisdiction. Libraries were established by white middle women, they were intended to serve the middle class and promote middle class values (education, family, children, marriage, religion, patriotism, leisure, home making skills, etc.), the library schools graduate primarily white middle class students and through bond issues have traditionally been supported by middle class white people.

Librarians have been promoting every progressive goal, especially women's rights, civil rights, environmentalism, and Democratic politics for as long as I can remember--and I first worked in the town library in Mt. Morris when I was a teen-ager. They have burdened themselves with LGBTQ movement, the HIV epidemic, income gaps (although they've not been successful in raising their own salaries above the EITC level), health disparities, domestic violence, etc., and I'm sure 90% of public librarians (and staff) are on board for the Green New Deal.

Being a middle class white institution brings some baggage, particularly guilt, for living and working in such abundance and freedom--our public support, our education, our wealth as a country. So this intersectionalist librarian Ms. Leung (an academic near as I can tell) is just following in the steps of her foremothers believing in 2019 that white people just take up space. Maybe her library can create separate restrooms, water fountains, and separate entrances for white people. It worked before for Democrats when they created Jim Crow facilities.

Michael Smith, guest blogger on the wokeness race for the White House.

This is an important read--the Democrats are about identity--and don't you believe you don't need an ID to be acceptable. They care only about the color of your skin and your sex. They only care about your wealth and religion if they need a third or fourth category to separate you from the herd.

Michael Smith, whom I know through Facebook and blogging, has handicapped the Democrats on their road to wokeness.  Interesting--some of these folks I've never heard of, especially his winner.

Beto, Booker and Sanders have all announced they would select a female running mate (well, Sanders actually said “other gendered”, so we don’t really know who or what he will pick) – but isn’t that a disqualifier coming from a cis-gendered white male? Shouldn’t these candidates step aside for a woman?

Anyway, Booker is the only one who might get a pass because Beto and old “Three Dachas” Bernie are cis-gendered, rich, white males and as King Arthur said about the number 5, they are “right out.”

What about the other honkies?

Bland Biden is about as pasty as they come – he checks none of the boxes for wokeness. Neither do Hickenlooper, Inslee, Delaney or Weld. All white, all cis-gendered and all rich. In the annals of wokism, none are as unworthy as Emo Beto, Three Dachas Bernie, Bland Biden, Loopy Hickenlooper, Comrade Inslee, John “Who” Delaney, and CBD Oil Bill (Gary “Weed” Johnson’s running mate the last time this circus came to town).

Three strikes for all – white, male, and rich.

Then there is Pete Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Indiana. Dude is gay – but also white and privileged (Harvard – BA in history and literature and as Oxford man, a Rhodes Scholar) – and that cancels out his honorable military service. I don’t know if he identifies as a top or a bottom and while his gayness gains him points over the other white candidates, he still is white. Unless he does a Rachel Dolezal or Talcum X, he’s toast as well based on the Rules of Wokeness.

The slogan for the Donks is Democrats2020 – No White Dudes (not even a gay white dude).

Then you have a few male, cis-gendered racial/ethnocentric candidates.

Andrew Yang is out because he is rich, Ivy League privileged (Brown, Harvard Law) but blacks are on a higher rung than Asians on the Ladder of Woke, he’s done.

Julian Castro is also out because while Hispanics outrank Asians, they still don’t rank as high as blacks – plus, he is also a cis-gendered (as far as we know) dude. He also has an identical twin, so there would always be a fear of he and his brother doing a “Dave” and taking turns in the Oval Office.
For black dudes, we have Booker and Wayne Messam, the mayor of Miramar, Florida. Booker might identify differently (his imaginary friend T-Bone might have been his boyfriend) but for now, he is cis-gendered according to his beard, Rosario Dawson, and unless that changes, he is still male and as mentioned before, the Rules state he must step aside for a woman.

Nobody has heard from Messam since he was a third string wide receiver for Florida State back in the early 90’s but playing a cis-gendered sport like football and attending college in Florida isn’t going to help.

Now for the Democrat Womenses:

Gillibrand is so painfully white she is transparent and flops around like a fish on a hot dock.

Kloubachar is white, bitchy and mean.

Warren is a real white communist and a fake Indian.

Marianne Williamson is a white, new age religionist who studied theater and philosophy for two years at Pomona College in California.

Sounds like the cast of Mean Girls. The cast is right out.
That leaves Kamala "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" Harris and the K-Bar Surfer Chick Tulsi Gabbard.

Unlike Warren, Kamala Harris is a real Indian and a POC (Person of Color). Her parents are Jamaican and Tamil Indian – but Kamala is also Willie Brown’s crazy ex-girlfriend, sleeping her way to the top of the California government. She prosecuted people as AG for things she now supports, so even though she is a real POC, she comes off as a real POS. She’s out as well.

Gabbard is multi-ethnic, multicultural and multi-religious. So much multi for one woman. Her father is of Samoan and European ancestry and an active lector at his Catholic church. Her mother, who was born in Decatur, Indiana, is of German descent and a practicing Hindu. Gabbard herself chose Hinduism. She took her oath of office on the Bhagavad Gita in 2013 and describes herself as a karma yogi. She is also a Major in the Army National Guard and she also seems to have a little common sense, a wish to work across the aisle and supports some policies that are almost libertarian. Gabbard is half Haight-Ashbury and half Military Industrial Complex. For Democrats, that’s going to cancel out all the “multi” in her background.

Out of all the Dem candidates, I think Gabbard would give Trump the most trouble.

Conclusion:

By the current rules, Gabbard should be the pick for the Democrats – but she won’t be. They will pick Biden because the Democrats are just as fake as their candidates. They believe Biden has the best chance to win and while Gabbard might be his VP pick, they will go with the rich, white, establishment dude in the end.”

Intersectionality, multiculturalism, inclusion, and diversity--all except white men

Before the Jews were rounded up and killed, there was first a campaign to demonize them--to depict them as less than human. Is the same thing happening to white men? Not that they will go to the gas chambers--they just won't be able to get a job.

Smiling while White

A white male gaze is considered sexual assault or predatory behavior by some feminists. So if you follow that reasoning, pink hat feminists are outraged by the March for Life because it protects the lives of the preborn. Now follow me here. These White boys from the Catholic school were in town to participate in the March and by wearing a MAGA hat were fair game. You can see why a smile was interpreted as a smirk, but either one, combined with staring while White is cause for feminists who control today's news media to pounce. Sometimes you just have to diagram a sentence or analyze a feminist to get a clear understanding.

White privilege and Whoopi

Whoopi Goldberg is worth $45 million and goes on TV (ABC The View) spewing hate and bigotry and decrying various justice "gaps." She would never need to work again, but loves the platform. This morning on my walk I talked to a white woman, probably about Whoopi's age, who works 40 hours a week at near minimum, then goes across the street and works another 4 hours at a nursing home. I guess that's white privilege.

Re-segregating the campus

Jodi Linley, assistant professor of art at University of Iowa, wants to segregate her classes by race, wants an anti-white atmosphere. It's trendy. Workshops on white privilege have turned into white shaming. It got her name and photo in the paper.

That is what passes for inclusivness and freedom of expression at that university, tax supported by white Iowans, of course. If education was supposed to elevate and improve the citizenry, she is proof that there is always an exception to the rule. 94% of Iowa is white; why should she be allowed to diss and insult them?

Jim Goad's personal history of being "white trash"

This is a bio-history of white slavery/conscription and the white under class (the author calls it "white trash") in the U.S. with its beginnings in Europe. It's personal--the author includes his own family genealogy. I don't know him, so can't vouch for anything except he does include footnotes. I'm not sure why children aren't told more truth about slavery--what they learn in school is very political and race based. Probably we need to follow the money to the poverty and race pimps working on government grants. Peace and harmony work against this kind of wealth so it must be stomped out.

I'm trying to think back on what I learned as a child, but draw a blank except for those old paintings displayed in National Geographic of slave markets in Roman times. It wasn't until I was an adult and studied on my own and also got interested in genealogy that I discovered slavery and indentured servitude built all the great nations of the world. It helped Roman empire and the north African empires to thrive. I also learned from Prof. Gates (Obama's friend and mentor) that free blacks owned slaves at a higher rate than free whites in the south. However, one of the worst aspects of the silence and true history of slavery is that it is a bigger "business" today than in the 18th century.  It involves sex workers and laborers and children taken from or sold by their parents. Many churches are now developing ministries, but children aren't being taught about it in school--they are being taught about "white privilege" and "microaggression."
