The left manipulates language

While the government (Biden administration and the regulatory agencies it controls) steals pronouns that used to have meaning, it makes nouns like racism and terrorism so common that they have become meaningless. All these changes are directed at their enemies--Republicans, conservatives, independents and constitutionalists so that they can no longer speak except with great caution and fear. It's really a violation of the first amendment. Destroy the words and the enemies are muzzled.

They've also added phrases where a single word or two used to have meaning. . .
  •  "lack of access,"
  • "assigned at birth,"
  •  "health disparities,"
  • "people of color," "Black lives matter" (but no one else does),
  • "trust the science,"
  • "people who were formerly incarcerated," or
  • "persons who are not securely housed."
And they've bungled the use of phrases we thought we knew, but when looking at data, we find out they've been massaged and manipulated--like
  • "hate crime,"
  •  "anti-Semitism,"
  • "holocaust denial" or
  • "food insecure."
Then they created words that are incomprehensible for the average person like
  • cisgender,
  • transgender,
  • malinformation and
  • misinformation.
We've recently seen that major "conspiracy theories" were used by the government against all sensible, thinking people to the right of the Clintons.
  • The virus DID come from a lab leak;
  • masks didn't stop the SPREAD of the virus;
  • Hunter's lap top was REAL and not Russian misinformation;
  • and UFOs have been renamed, but are now being talked about in the OPEN.
It's the same motive as changing words. Words are powerful--and unfortunately the government and all its buddies in NGOs, academe, Big Tech, Big Pharma, and MSM are all reading from the same script. Terrorism is only on the rise because it's been renamed and redefined to include concerned parents and traditional Catholics!. Same with racism. Same with hate crime. Same with science. It's all about power.

I don't have a solution, but do have advice. Listen to their words carefully and don't give up your freedom of speech.

What's coming down the pike after transgenderism

Transableism, Trans-speciesism, Trans-humanism--so what pronouns should we use for these confused, self-maiming and deeply disturbed people/animals/machines? Ask a Democrat. As the Leftists on Social Media, government and academe wander further into La-la land they've gone way beyond destroying Western Civilization (the Constitution and the United States they abandoned long ago). Annihilation of the world is their goal. This is not a conspiracy theory; all you have to do is follow the breadcrumbs tossed to their followers. People who willingly blind themselves or amputate limbs, people who demand litter boxes in schools, are just the natural evolution of a cult that maims children in the name of "affirming" their own delusions.

Pronouns are not protected by the Constitution!

https://www.christianpost.com/news/judge-throws-out-lawsuit-against-ohio-college-for-forcing-professor-to-use-trans-pronouns.html

A Christian professor who sued his employer has lost—calling a trans person by their actual correct pronoun can get you fired.

“I encourage my students to express their political and religious views, and professors should have the same freedom,” Meriwether said in a statement sent out from ADF.

“But the University insisted that I endorse an ideology I do not believe is true. This is simply wrong. True tolerance must be a two-way street. Now the district court suggests that professors have no free speech rights, which should trouble us all. Public universities have no business compelling people to express ideological beliefs that they do not hold. But the court’s decision opens the door for them to shift from being a marketplace of ideas to an assembly line for one type of thought.”

Almost 30 years or more of brainwashing

Larry Burkett wrote a book, "What ever happened to the American dream," Moody Press, 1993. The year Bill Clinton took office. Usually that's a line for the left. Income gap. Dying unions. Shrinking middle class. What happened to the American dream? Burkett writes:

"There is enough material available on the impact of government regulations and their effect on the economy to write an entire book. But, in reality, regulations are just one part of the overall problem. The sad thing is that, with all the misinformation being aimed at the public via our media, America's children are being brainwashed into believing that all those regulations are in their best interests.”

Almost 27 years ago, and Burkett couldn't have imagined what was coming down the pike in the way of regulations. . . especially speech codes, mandatory anti-bias classes for college students, tearing down statues representing our history, use pronouns of choice or lose a job, drag queens for library story hour, hormone blockers for adolescents with consent of parents, doctors and psychologists, 9 month abortions called women's health, 50% of the citizenry bullied as deplorables by a national candidate, environmental disasters in California and skyrocketing homelessness due to disastrous regulations, and the civil war caused by Democrats' failure to accept an election. These weren't laws--they were regulations passed by unelected federal bureaucrats or local boards and committees and increasingly by digital giants infesting our freedoms.

Burkett said that increasing regulations translated to fewer jobs, lower salaries and diminished competition regardless of who was in the White House, but he was definitely on track when he referred to the brainwashing of children. President Trump is trying to bring back America, but because those children of a quarter a century ago have passed on their ignorance and government dependency to their own children, his accomplishments are ignored and his supporters called a cult.

Politics and religion going public

Meister Eckhart - Rediscovering a German Sufi | HuffPost

“Were I to launch into a sermon on the upcoming presidential election, my email box would short-circuit from the deluge of opinions many would need to communicate. However, because this sermon is on the life of Meister Eckhart, chances are good that when it comes to email I'll receive nary a byte. Face it, theology fails to generate the same temperature of heated discourse as politics, despite the admonition against bringing up either politics or religion on a first date.

On the other hand, were these the Middle Ages, the ceaseless subject matter of CNN or Fox News would be the moods and moves of God rather than the latest exploits of kings and princes. In medieval Europe, where earthly life was precarious and death the daily dread, the life to come was the only life that warranted debate.”

You can read the rest of this interesting sermon on Eckhart,  but I really chose this part because of its truth on speaking out and the dangers of writing about politics and religion.  So few people are passionate these days about religion that if you have a belief or opinion about the nativity, baptism, end times, or communion few will challenge you because they may believe all ways lead to God, or all truth is what I say it is.  Politics, however, especially if made public can get you fired, lose friends, destroy relationships, or even get your home attacked by Antifa, as Tucker Carlson found out (and he’s not even a Trump supporter but has spoken out about the D.C.  “elites” in his latest book, “Ship of Fools.”)

  • Are you pro-life?  That used to be a religious issue, but is now such a hotly debated topic on heartbeats, selling baby parts and tax support, good friends best not discuss it.
  • Marriage?  That also used to be a religious issue, but divorce and infidelity were the morality topics.  Not now.  It’s about baking cakes and fixing floral arrangements, and whether you can lose your business for being on the wrong side of Democrat party politics.
  • Gender? God created man and woman used to be a debate about long day, short day, and whether this Biblical story was myth or fact, and now it’s about transphobia and your first amendment right to not only have a religion belief, but freedom of speech.
  • Pronouns for God? Feminists used to rail about the masculine pronouns used in the Trinitarian Godhead,  or in traditional hymns, now we can not even use the pronouns he, she, him, her in ordinary discourse or writing!

So yes, it’s far safer to blog or Facebook about religion—it’s just that liberal politics have been co-opting religion so picking a topic is dancing in a mine field.

Notice the pronouns

Although I don't think the media ever mentioned it, social media was all over Obama for 8 years for his use of the first person pronoun.  I, me, my, were the main topics of many of his speeches. Trump's speeches are very different.  He talks about doing things together, or our partners, or "we".  I think his ego is just a large as the former president's, but having been a business man he knows the value of commended those under him to keep the team working hard.

THE WHITE HOUSE
Office of the Press Secretary
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE...
October 21, 2017

Statement by President Donald J. Trump on the Defeat of ISIS in Raqqah

I am pleased to announce that the Syrian Democratic Forces, our partners in the fight against ISIS in Syria, have successfully recaptured Raqqah – the terrorist group’s self-proclaimed capital city. Together, our forces have liberated the entire city from ISIS control.

The defeat of ISIS in Raqqah represents a critical breakthrough in our worldwide campaign to defeat ISIS and its wicked ideology. With the liberation of ISIS’s capital and the vast majority of its territory, the end of the ISIS caliphate is in sight.

We will soon transition into a new phase in which we will support local security forces, de-escalate violence across Syria, and advance the conditions for lasting peace, so that the terrorists cannot return to threaten our collective security again. Together, with our allies and partners, we will support diplomatic negotiations that end the violence, allow refugees to return safely home, and yield a political transition that honors the will of the Syrian people.

One of my core campaign promises to the American people was to defeat ISIS and to counter the spread of hateful ideology. That is why, in the first days of my Administration, I issued orders to give our commanders and troops on the ground the full authorities to achieve this mission. As a result, ISIS strongholds in Mosul and Raqqah have fallen. We have made, alongside our coalition partners, more progress against these evil terrorists in the past several months than in the past several years.
I commend all of our coalition partners for the sacrifices they have made in this noble effort. Therefore, as we recognize this military accomplishment, we also pause to honor our service men and women and all they have given to protect us and all civilized people from these modern day barbarians.

Today, we reaffirm that ISIS leaders, and anyone who supports them, must and will face justice.

Theology of pronouns

If you care about babies (and grammar) you might enjoy this piece by a missionary in Zambia. The Singletons were formerly with the Mt. Morris, IL Evan Free church and are now missionaries in Zambia.

"I had noticed that Zambians have difficulty with pronouns~they will sometimes refer to males as “shes” and females as “hes.” And, I’d observed that babies and children are referred to as “its” and called a “he” or “she” when the child is older. My short answer? A child is never an “it.” This important grammar question also afforded me an opportunity to mount my soap box and share a lengthier viewpoint."

If you've done much genealogy, you see a hint of this not too far back in our history--many babies didn't survive, so it might be some time before they were named.  Also, younger children were often given the same name as one who died.  And in our modern age, a baby is a fetus or a clump of cells.  An it.
