Emily's List supports pro-abortion Democrats

The pro-abortion group EMILY’s List, which supports female Democratic candidates who oppose all limitations on abortion, has unveiled new endorsements in four highly-contested 2012 House races.

Congresswoman Betty Sutton (D-OH), Elizabeth Esty, Dina Titus and Tarryl Clark have each proven to EMILY’s List that they will not waver in their support for abortion-on-demand.

Story here.

Elizabeth Esty, an attorney and former state lawmaker, is running for the House seat in Connecticut’s 5th district being vacated by Congressman Chris Murphy who is running for Senate.

Former Congresswoman Dina Titus from Nevada’s 3rd district lost her reelection campaign in 2010 to pro-life Joe Heck by a margin of just 2,000 votes. Redistricting has put her in 1st district.

Former MN State Representative Tarryl Clark unsuccessfully challenged pro-life Congresswoman Michele Bachmann in 2010 in Minnesota’s 6th Congressional District. Redistricting has put her in the 8th.

Ohio's Congresswoman Betty Sutton due to redistricting will face Republican Congressman Jim Renacci, who currently holds a 100% voting record on pro-life issues.

Why do Democrats hate American babies?

Why do some Republicans make ridiculous and inaccurate generalizations?

Why do you and other Republicans spend so much time writing so much hate? Good grief, spend less energy and time writing such vitriol. I'm a Republican and I'm pro-life - and I'm very offended by such a question. I can disagree with someone's politics without saying they hate babies.

Remember when the Democrats said Bush hated black people because of the Katrina disaster and its effects on the black community? Our abortion policies, supported primarily by the Democrats, have killed over 50 million American babies. Do you call that love, or respect or even wise? Which is more serious--commenting on it, or passing the legislation that allows it? We have the most pro-abortion politician in the history of the country in the highest office of the land.

Margaret Sanger would be proud of Obama. Well, she would have aborted him, but since he managed to survive she is probably spinning in her grave.

Isn't saying that abortions kill American babies equivalent to saying that masturbating kills American babies? I mean obviously both effectively end what possibly could have become a person, but that doesn't mean that anyone is killing any babies.

What a great zinger at the end, Norma! It doesn't exactly promote calm, rationale discussion, but that's not what this blog is about.

Thanks for your visit. I always appreciate and enjoy it when you stop by, and I try to remember to get back here afterward.

Happy New Year.

Yes, Anvil, I should have been more specific--black babies. Since 1973 Black women have had about 16 million abortions. Blacks (in the U.S.) is 36 million, the missing babies . . . well, you do the math. Since when has any discussion of abortion been calm or rational? Certainly not on the pro-abortion end.

You are one evil woman.

Anon348--to speak the truth is evil?

All abortion numbers are derived from pro-abortion sources courtesy of The Alan Guttmacher Institute and Planned Parenthood's Family Planning Perspectives. They're out there for anyone to read and interpret. http://www.guttmacher.org/sections/abortion.php?scope=U.S.%20specific

While white women obtain 60% of all abortions, their abortion rate is well below that of minority women. Black women are more than 3 times as likely as white women to have an abortion, and Hispanic women are roughly 2 times as likely. So how do you interpret the respect and caring Democrats have for minorities? This is more devastating than Jim Crow laws, which Democrats also put in place.

Tell me again your definition of evil? Is it the act or the reporting.

Happy New Year-Hell! At this rate no one wins this arguement...bear in mind you are no always right. You may feel you are and good for you but smart folks do not think they know it all. I am still a learner.

What's to win? Do you mean "right" as in correct, or in morality? Blogger is free. Start a blog and explain why it's OK to kill a developing human in utero. Then pro-lifers can come and argue with you.

Do you throw in an abortion statement just to get comments? It's like red meat for the left.
