USDA is now a social service agency

Only 11% of funding in the farm bill goes to farm policies.  More than 84% of farm bill-related spending goes to food and nutrition programs like food stamps, not to farmers. Current bill ended Sept. 30, and we're into the lame duck session of Congress to work out the next 5 year bill. Agriculture employs 14% of the U.S. workforce, or about 21 million people.

Murray sez:
This is just one of many programs that our astute legislators come up with that goes on and on and on.....
Time for the intelligent American taxpayers to put these guys out to pasture and bring in new blood like Allen West. Trouble is the Progressives and MSM hammer people like West with smears and lies till they get all of the stupid votes.

The farm policy parts are held hostage until the food aid is increased.
