Judicial Watch files lawsuit about DWS

Imran Awan and his family were banned from the House computer network in February 2017 after the House’s top law enforcement officer wrote that Imran is “an ongoing and serious risk to the House of Representatives, possibly threatening the integrity of our information systems,” and that a server containing evidence had gone “missing.” The inspector general said server logs showed “unauthorized access” and procurement records were falsified.

Imran Awan was Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s top information technology aide. Most lawmakers fired Awan in February, but Wasserman Schultz kept him on until he was arrested in July, trying to board a flight for Pakistan.

Imran Awan was allowed a plea deal. He pleaded guilty to federal bank fraud but prosecutors found no evidence that Awan “violated federal law with respect to the House computer systems.”

The Judicial Watch lawsuit was filed after the FBI failed to respond adequately to two FOIA requests.

The FBI claimed it could neither confirm nor deny records related to the first request, filed on May 26, 2017. (e-mail notice)

DWS and the Awan deal

HT Happy Hayride.  “The legal teams for Imran Awan and Hina Alvi are close to finalizing immunity deals with the Justice Department that could spare them jail time in exchange for testimony against sitting members of Congress, federal law enforcement sources said. FBI sources familiar with the case said late Friday that Imran Awan’s legal counsel was “deep in the process” of structuring an immunity deal for himself and his wife with Justice Department lawyers. The deal would allow the couple to freely testify against any or all Democratic lawmakers they worked for as IT specialists, including Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz. True Pundit reported on Thursday that the couple was working on a plea deal to avoid prison time. But on Friday federal sources said those talks had progressed into a likely immunity deal for the duo.”http://truepundit.com/fbi-awans-finalizing-immunity-deals-with-doj-in-exchange-for-testimony-on-members-of-congress/

What could possibly go wrong? Mueller is best friends with Comey; has hired all Hillary supporting lawyers for the investigation; impaneled a Grand Jury from Trump hating D.C. They, not the Russians, are interferring with the election of Donald Trump.

Democrats wounded to the core with their poor decisions think Clinton couldn’t lose a national election which includes non-urban voters without help from Russia. Let’s review her campaign promises. She lauded open borders, refugee resettlement without vetting, and born-alive abortions. She proposed a 65% tax rate on estates that would impact small businesses and farms. She would have retained Obama’s heavy handed LGBTQ agenda, thus destroying Title VII and Title IX both of which benefit women. Trump campaigned on more security at the border, stronger economy with better jobs, patriotism (some nay sayers call that nationalism), he bragged on Americans--she called them deplorables--inviting more Americans to come back with a promise of fewer regulations, and a strong conservative for the Supreme Court.  No contest.   Spasiba. Спасибо.

This should be the investigation--The DNC and Awan. I had some time in the car yesterday when I went shopping in Sandusky and listened to Glenn Beck outline the last few years of the nefarious activities of Debbie Wasserman Schultz's (head of DNC in 2016) IT staffer.

Pakistani staff Imran Awan
  • who hired his family and friends to work with Democrats
  • whose friends and wife fled the country as he was being investigated
  • who invested in various DC area businesses through Congressional Federal credit Union,
  • who had numerous legal problems that should have had his security clearance pulled,
  • who accepted funding from middle eastern "investors" in his failed businesses,
  • who had access to the computers of numerous Democrats, who were paying him and his friends excessively high salaries,
  • who then destroyed evidence before being arrested trying to flee.
Also Awan was fired by DWS at the last minute before going down--she stuck with him through 6 months of investigation, during which he still had access. She's either the world's most trusting employer, or she's sleeping with her staff.  But the media is fixated on a non-existent Russia story. This is not about bank fraud, although there is that, but about a REAL threat to our security. He worked for Democrats for 13 years, and knew their secrets.  I watched ABC morning news today--not a peep about the real story, but plenty on Trump.

On this day in 1964, the bodies of 3 civil rights workers, Chaney, Schwerner, and Goodman, killed by the KKK in Mississippi were found. The KKK was the terrorist arm of the Democrat Party formed during the Reconstruction in the aftermath of the Civil War and revitalized during the Depression. But the Democrats continued to elect KKK members or former members like Robert Byrd, Hugo Black, etc. even well past the 1960s. None of the killers served more than 6 years.

The Republicans had been working for years on Civil Rights legislation, making slow progress. The deaths of these martyrs in June 1964 pushed President Johnson's legislation for the 1964 Civil Rights Act over the line, even without the support of many Democrats.

What if Wasserman Schultz was Clinton's key to the nomination?

In case this clip doesn't show in your browser: Wasserman Schultz was Hillary's campaign co-chair in her failed 2008 bid for the nomination. What if, in order to lock down the 2016 nomination, she were made the party chair? (The Wikileaks e-mails indicate that Hillary had been chosen before the primaries.) That means some one would need to step down, and that capable, able person was none other than Tim Kaine, the current vice presidential pick, a cafeteria Catholic to scope up those few Democrats who still have scruples.  Quite a pay off for him for stepping aside.

Make-over, please

I may sound as catty and juvenile as our President back biting at the Texas Lt. Governor, but really, Debbie Wasserman Schultz desperately needs a make-over. It must be naturally curly hair, because no one could get a bad perm that consistently year after year.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz blames the Tea Party, but denies it

What do you think? She mentions incivility, Gabby Gifford, and the Tea Party all in one statement. And this is what she calls "toning down" the rhetoric? Yes, Misinformation, you did it very cleverly. She doesn't blame the Occupiers for being uncivil in hundreds of cities even though they confiscated private property, assaulted people, burned neighborhoods and screamed at the press. When did this happen with the Tea Party, Misinformation? The Tea Party is grass roots, and in fact, it isn't even a party in the sense of the Republicans or Democrats. They are, however, a threat to the power structure of both parties, so her method of incivility is to demean their behavior and patriotism. Everyone knows the political climate had nothing to do with the Gifford shooting, but Obama did use the memorial/funeral event for the other victims to launch his 2012 campaign.
AUDIENCE MEMBER: The American people are losing faith in Congress. [inaudible] because of the lack of civility. What do you think can be done to bring that faith back and then we can start thinking that they're doing their job instead of just fighting with each other?

WASSERMAN SCHULTZ: Well, as someone who spent 19 years as a member of a legislative body, I really agree with you, that we need to make sure that we tone things down, particularly in light of the Tucson tragedy from a year ago where my very good friend, Gabby Giffords, who is doing really well by the way, and I know everybody is so thrilled, as I am, to hear that, making tremendous progress.

But the discourse in America, the discourse in Congress in particular, to answer your question, very specifically, has really changed.

And I'll tell you, I hesitate to place blame, but I have noticed it take a very precipitous turn towards edginess and a lack of civility with the growth of the Tea Party movement.

After the 2010 elections, when you had the Tea Party elect a whole lot of their supporters to the United States House of Representatives and you had town hall meetings that they tried to take over and you saw some of their conduct at those town hall meetings, you know, in the time that I've been in my state legislature and in Congress, I've never seen a time that was more divisive or where discourse was less civil.
Actually, Congress isn't showing a lack of civility--the members go out and have a beer together or attend parties together. The Democrats didn't approve Obama's budget buster. Is that uncivil? Republicans wanted the pipeline, and so did the Democrat unions. Are they being uncivil, or are the DOING THEIR JOB?
