He wrote that about the murder of Iryna Zarutzka. But it applies even more so to the terrorist murder of Charlie Kirk, a man who joyfully preached and demonstrated our first amendment right to freedom of religion and speech. It drives the Left absolutely bonkers and around the bend senseless to have our form of democracy actually lived and demonstrated to others. They want us quiet. Dead quiet. Democrat/socialist/Communist quiet.

Charlie was very dangerous in the demented minds of the Leftist media, the Democrats, the agitators and uglies who won't even allow us to say, "all lives matter." He loved Jesus, his family, his country and American values of political, religious and economic freedom. For that the leftist media called him divisive on the day of his murder. Communists can't tolerate it--we should rejoice in what Charlies did in his short life. The Illinois governor, the California governor, the Squad, the candidate for mayor of New York, the Maxines and Hillarys and Nancys and millions of Americans who are slouching toward socialism are morally bankrupt.

Ruby Taverner was formerly known as Martin Taverner; Ray Muscat was formerly known as Amber Muscat.  No matter how this is written up, someone gets insulted. According to this report, from a pro-LGBTQ news source:

"Ray is the 13th transgender person reported as a victim of fatal violence in 2022. He is the second white trans man reported murdered in 2022 that we know of so far. His death means a trans neighbor has been murdered every 9.8 days in 2022 in the United States. To date the victims include 7 Black trans women, 2 Latinx trans women, 1 AAIPI trans woman, 2 white trans men and 1 white trans woman. The youngest was 17, the oldest was 33. Ten were 25 or younger. Their deaths come on the heels of 2021, the most violent year in recorded history with the deaths of 57 trans, non-binary, and gender nonconforming people in the United States alone. Note that the tabulation includes a significant number of reports of folx murdered in 2021. This might be confusing. Of course it is confusing. I tried to sort it out below.

Domestic violence, including murder, is a form of terror. Do police deliberately and disproportionately kill blacks?

As riots and protests about police killings continue, let's look at some murder statistics. I'm using 2017 FBI-UCR (Uniform Crime Report), because these reports roll in at various times. Let's look at the victims instead of the killers. They don't get the headlines, but their lives matter too. TLM. In 2017, there was a total of 15,129 homicide victims--6,579 were white, 7,851 were black, and 2,304 were Hispanic. Assailants are usually male and between the ages of 15-35 and are most often the same race as their victim, but VICTIMS can be any age and sex--women, children, elderly. Within the UCR reports, these homicides are further detailed, such as gang killing, babysitter and child, rape, etc. I won't address that except other reports show for under age 5 victims the most likely weapon of a murder victim is fists, not guns or knives and a relative is usually the killer, not a babysitter or stranger.

Even those who hate math can see blacks are murdered at a much higher number and rate than whites or Hispanics. Whites are 76.3%, and Hispanics 18.5% of the population. Blacks are 13.4% of the population, and bear the burden of violent crime (these murders often take place during other violent crime).

 
What's the solution from prominent Democrats and BLM geniuses? Defund the police, i.e., make things even less safe for blacks. Most police homicides involve a person with a criminal record. That includes George Floyd last May, Daunte Wright (Minnesota, accidentally shot) and Miles Jackson (Columbus, who attacked police in a hospital). All had warrants for arrest, and all resisted arrest. That's the usual situation when police kill someone, black, white, brown, male or female.

Just as an add on: here's the quote from ABC News about Columbus, which shows what matters in reporting. Race. The reporter noted in the first paragraph the race of the criminal. Then after a summary description: 

"Jackson died in the shooting at Mount Carmel St. Ann's Hospital in suburban Columbus. The races of all the officers have not been confirmed, although several appeared to be white. A message was left with police requesting that information." 

After that biased paragraph, ABC includes a lengthy blow by blow detail from the body cam of how the criminal behaved and pulled a gun on the police. Even a 10 year old could figure this out, but that night crowds showed up to attack the police station.

The Hunt is disgusting

Universal Studios developed a film showing "elites" killing "deplorables." Hmm. Not surprising that the people who think a 9 month human fetus isn't human enough to have rights might come up with an idea to kill people who support Trump. And the release has only been postponed. Remember, these are the people who "believe in science," but can find 40+ genders but no humanity in a baby. These are the people who go before congress and blather about morality and the 2nd amendment or pesticides on apples.

Virginia out-ghouls New York

Virginia is now trying to out-ghoul and out-Gosnell New York. If the infant is born alive in an abortion procedure, she will be made comfortable until the "mother" [is she a mother if the baby isn't a baby?] and doctor decide whether to "abort" [aka kill] her or let her live. Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger used abortion to keep the population of the poor and minorities down.  It's still the Democrat method.  More blacks are killed in 4 days than 80 years of lynching. Republicans tried to outlaw lynchings but the Democrats wouldn't cooperate. They would gather to cheer and jeer at the hangings, but as people today in liberal legislatures cheer the killing of born alive babies intended for death as medical waste.

Silly me.  I always think “hate crime” when someone chooses to murder another person. When children are murdered, according to the Bureau of Justice, it is usually by their parents or care givers or someone who knows them.  And guns are almost never involved.

This is heartbreaking

I had been reading through the moving speech a mother of a murdered child had given at an Amber Alert conference this past summer, 2018 NATIONAL AMBER ALERT SYMPOSIUM, as reported in their journal. https://www.amberadvocate.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/09/AA34-web-final.pdf  She tells her relief when the murderer of her sexually molested and murdered 12 year old son Justin Bloxom is finally brought to justice in 2014.  And although it was a recent 2018 article, I thought I’d better double check for updates, and unfortunately, the murder conviction was overturned in September.  Brian Horn’s rights were violated.

Justin Bloxom 12 years old was found smothered to death on March 30, 2010 after he took a cab driven by then 34-year-old Brian Horn, who had posed as a teen girl in texts.

National Crime Report for 2015

A new national crime report was released April 19. Violent crime is still at an all time low in the U.S. In most places, that’s a result of two decades of the Omnibus Crime Bill, which Bill Clinton recently had to defend as it was a beacon of hope in his administration. In NYC in 1990 there were 2,262 murders; in 2015 there were 352. Can you see President Clinton might be insulted by the accusations? As some cities feel the pressure to ignore smaller crimes like vagrancy, public urination and petty crimes, because some liberals think they are racist, we may see that change. Let's see what Bill DeBlasio will fare.

Some cities, however, are experiencing an increase in their murder rate. Oklahoma City, for instance, is up almost 65%, which sounds terrible, but that’s 75 murders in 2015 instead of 45 in 2014. Washington DC is up 51.2%, from 105 to 162 in 2015. Murders in Denver went from 31 in 2014 to 54 in 2015, an increase of 74.2%, largest increase in the nation, up there with Baltimore and Oklahoma City. 

In the 30 largest cities of the U.S. there is a 13.2% increase in murder (Columbus and Indianapolis figures are “unavailable.”) The three worst cities in crime increase, Baltimore, Chicago and Washington, DC, have poverty rates double the national average, unemployment higher than the national average (but lower than national average during the 2008 recession), but in median income they don’t resemble each other.

As I see it, only Democrat control and huge transfers for social programs from the federal government link these three. Crime, like poverty and poor schools, guarantees these cities a steady income drip from DC.

A 7 month old girl was murdered by a relative with a saw. No protests—she wasn’t a policewoman.

“A 7-month-old girl was found dead in the Little Village neighborhood Monday morning, her throat cut by a power saw, authorities said.

Police found the child, identified as Rose Herrera, after being called to a building in the 2800 block of South Avers Avenue on the West Side about 9:40 a.m., according to police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.

Authorities said a relative, a 52-year-old woman, used a circular saw to cut the baby's throat, apparently because she wouldn't stop crying. The woman initially tried to shove something in the baby's mouth -- possibly cloth -- to get the girl to quiet down, a source said.

The woman then tried to kill herself and was found by another relative, according to authorities. The woman was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where she was stable and in police custody.

Detectives were conducting a "domestic-related murder investigation," police said.”

There were 11 people shot, 3 of whom were killed in the Chicago area yesterday—including a 2 year old boy and a 5 year old boy.  I think the student protesters in Madison concerned that an unarmed criminal was killed after bizarre behavior should start out for Chicago, and interview some police. How would they like the job of taking pre-schoolers to the hospital or finding a baby with her throat cut.

Where is the outrage—4 murder victims

This morning on the news I heard about the video confession of Donald Hoffman who murdered viciously 4 people about a year ago in Bucyrus, Ohio. Not sure of the weapons--blunt force and strangulation were cited. He was on cocaine, don't know about the victims. But, I only mention this because there was no one gathered at his arraignment last year except the crying family members of the victims. No thousands holding candles or charging hate crimes for the White House and Department of Justice. In the photo, he looks like he could be the twin of the guy who killed the 3 in Chapel Hill. He also had a long history with the police and violent behavior. I don't recall any outrage over these 4 murders. Anyone else in Ohio, or Florida, California or Illinois remember this case?

One thing the killing of 3 young adult Muslims in Chapel Hill by a self proclaimed atheist proves to Americans is that Muslims really can rally, demonstrate and speak out against the unspeakable--but only from a very safe distance from ISIS and the Middle East wars. They have the free speech, religion and assembly protection offered by this country. So they really do have a voice in condemning evil.

Police are investigating

the murder of a black man, Reginald Jones, said to be a wonderful father, gregarious and hard worker was the last murder of 2014 for Chicago.  If the assailant turns out to be white, you’ll hear about this on the national news. Maybe Al Sharpton or Eric Holder can come for the protests or the funeral.   If he’s black, and 93% of these murders are, then you’ll never hear of him again.

The shooting occurred about 2:30 p.m. at Rodriguez Rims & Tires at 80th and S. Stony Island Ave in Avalon Park, police said. A gunman in a ski mask approached Jones, shot him multiple times and ran away, police told Jones’ family.

Sledgehammers kill

You haven't heard of this case, but I saw the sentencing story of the 14 year old on Cleveland TV news today so just Googled "sledgehammer murder" and was shocked by how many stories came up that weren't the story I was looking for. OK. 2 black teenagers killed the parents of a white woman who had been attacked by the 18 year old and hospitalized. It happened in April 2013. Imagine the hate crime accusations if the victims had been black and the perps Hispanic, Asian or white? In this case, no mention of the race of the teens was even noted in most of the stories I browsed. Only when I found a news account with photos of their attackers did I find that out. This is not a game of "gotcha" keeping track of black on white crimes; only an observation that the media tries to whip up hatred only when it works for them.

Time to remove sledgehammers from the market along with pressure cookers and box cutters. They are just too dangerous in the hands of crazy people.

Yes, that sounds gross, but it's not far removed from a case here in Columbus where a father killed his 3 month old by dragging him on the street after he'd abused him. There's only 4 months difference between an 8th month fetus and a 3 month old baby. One is called abortion, the other murder. Both babies were helpless without adult protection. Neither can survive on his own.

I'm guessing there are more dead women in the cold case files, but what I found surprising (AP report) is the sentence may be only 25 years? Maybe if one of them were a lesbian he could get life?

In his address to Mr. Justice Robert Scott, assistant Crown attorney Robert Morrison underscored how more than a dozen of his victims were under the age of 18, girls young enough to have dolls placed on their beds, or Tweety bird emblazoned on their underwear. In the end, the colonel’s steadfast routine of photographing and documenting every last step of his lingerie thefts was his undoing; the prosecution displayed photo after photo on two flat-screen televisions of the colonel sprawled out on numerous beds adorned with flowery duvets and wearing all manner of women’s and girl’s clothing: bras, slips, thongs and negligees. In most of the photos he is fondling himself, and in all of the photos he is wearing the same focused and determined look on his face. His method of breaking into homes varied from slipping through an open window, to picking locks, to cutting open screens.

Shooting at Ohio State

"University Police have confirmed the identities of the victims and suspect in a shooting that occurred on campus earlier this morning. They also have confirmed two deaths.

• Larry Wallington, 48, building services manager, a victim in the shooting, was pronounced dead at the scene earlier this morning.

• Henry Butler, 60, operations shift leader, also a victim, is in stable condition at the OSU Medical Center

• Suspect, Nathaniel Brown, 51, custodial worker, sustained a self-inflicted gunshot at the scene and was transported to OSU Medical Center where he was pronounced dead on arrival

More than 1/2 dozen employees were working at the OSU Maintenance Building, 2000 Tuttle Park Place, when the suspect entered an office suite with a gun and began shooting. Those employees and other coworkers have been offered grief counseling.

The incident appears to be work related. Brown was hired in October 2009." OSU Emergency Management via e-mail

Sounds like a careful background check wasn't made if the guy goes bonkers 6 months after he is hired. Bad review? Was he going on probation? I wonder if the media will decide he was a tea bag patriot? They made that judgement in the Stark case and the Pentagon shooting.

Update: Yes, he had a bad review, hadn't made probation, and he also had a prison record that hadn't turned up in a background check. Interesting that they were able to find it within hours of the shooting. Columbus Dispatch

Is it hate yet?

Eleven black women have been murdered by Anthony Sowell (I'm not even going to say allegedly since he buried them in his back yard) in Cleveland. Sowell was released from prison after serving 15 years for attempted rape. Given his current crime streak, I'm guessing that charge was a plea bargain for doing something a lot more serious. So I'm wondering, were these hate crimes? Did he speak hate speech before he strangled and raped them? If Sowell were white, or the women were lesbians, someone might call them that. But these days, even the grossest, most heinous crimes must be politically correct--unless of course, we've lumped the victim and the perp in the same box. President Obama jumped the gate immediately when his black Harvard friend was stopped by police for breaking into his own home and refusing to show ID when asked, but the murder of 11 Cleveland women doesn't deserve a peep because the perp wasn't white.

Fourteen women are missing within the city's 4th district. A victim advocate group and a councilman are demanding an investigation. It's a little late for those women, but maybe it will remind people--both relatives (who don't report them missing) and police--that even druggies and prostitutes deserve someone to care and a resolution of the crime that killed them, if for no other reason than to get the creep off the streets.

A possible homicide. Foul play. Ya think?

It wouldn’t take me long to decide it was a homicide if the guy’s eyes are taped and mouth stuffed, his hands and feet bound, and he was hung naked except for his socks (Columbus Dispatch). Really, reporters sound a bit funny. Like this at Huffington Post

I'm voting that this had nothing to do with his part time job, and everything to do with kinky sex gone bad. Or he stumbled onto the modern version of an old timey Kentucky still (drugs).

Where's the splashy headlines about this killing?

On A6 of the Columbus Dispatch I read about the murder of a Michigan man--an abortion protester. The killer, according to the news account, didn't like the activist holding a sign with graphic images of a fetus in front of students. So he shot the guy in front of the students--I suppose in his twisted mind, that wouldn't disturb them. The killer then went to a business and shot another man, and was on his way to kill a third, when he was shot by the police. Apparently he wasn't a minority, because there was no mention of an investigation of the police killing an armed and dangerous man. But also, the press and the president haven't taken much notice. Remember back in May?

"The killing of abortion doctor George Tiller, who was fatally shot in his Kansas church Sunday morning, drew a flood of denunciations from President Obama along with liberal and conservative lawmakers and abortion rights groups and abortion foes. The murder occupied front pages and led news broadcasts for nearly three days."

At the same time an army recruiter William Long was killed and Quinton Ezeagwula wounded by a Muslim terrorist (homegrown) but Obama, the men's Commander in Chief, didn't even blink. Attorney General Eric Holder called for protection of abortion clinics, but ignored the killing of a U.S. soldier and ignores the attacks against U.S. military facilities since 9/11.

Some lives, matter, some don't. Abortionists and terrorists get a pass during this administration.
