Warns against scare speeches and hyperbole, then gives scare speeches.

Was against wars the last administration was involved in and gave comfort to the enemy with his votes and words, and now he has started his own in Libya.
Guantanamo--who even knows what is going on there, but he was against its existence 4 years ago and promised to close it during his campaign, but hasn‘t done anything.
He’s against wiretaps, deep water drilling, etc. but it’s OK for other countries, even those near by.

Guantanamo Bay: How the White House lost the fight to close it
Verbs and nouns matter. So do biases. While the press wrote or implied, "Bush lied (about everything)," when it comes to Obama, it's a much more delicate wrap up of his campaign promise to close Guantanamo, the reason so many moderates voted for him (other than a pretty face and empty rhetoric). According to WaPo, on that promise he just made a pragmatic decision, a miscalculation, his plans were undermined, there was confusion, even timidity and passivity that reflects his "style." Oh crap. The man lied to get in office. About everything. He didn't even write his own autobiography which created the empty suit. The only things he has followed through on, some within days of taking office, are funding embryonic stem cell research, removing religious symbols in public events even if it's a church's building, redistributing wealth from the upper class to the middle class, and weakening our position in the Middle East. Although that last one he's apparently had second thoughts about with decisions to bomb Libya.
Shame, shame on the Washington Post writers Peter Finn and Anne E. Kornblut. Not that I expected anything different, but shame is the only word to describe WaPo's fall from being a watchdog to being a lapdog.

Gitmo, Illinois
"During his campaign, Obama maligned President George W. Bush for detaining our enemies, even though they were being held according to the laws of war. Now, Obama has adopted that policy (though for a new facility) and outraged the far Left. “Prolonged imprisonment without trial is exactly the Guantánamo system that the president promised to shut down,” said Shayana Kadidal, a lawyer for the Center for Constitutional Rights.
Preoccupied with building the new detention center, the president has failed to set up legal rules for determining who can be detained. Prisoners facing long-term captivity without trial will inevitably seek to challenge their detention in federal courts, a right that they have under the 2008 Supreme Court decision Boumediene v. Bush. Unfortunately, the Obama administration has neglected to work with Congress to establish evidentiary rules governing these proceedings, such as how to handle classified information, witness testimony, and discovery rights. With so many legal and procedural questions still unanswered, Obama remains determined to use taxpayer dollars to buy and renovate a Gitmo look-alike so that he can claim to have carried out his pledge to close the original facility. This is the price the American public pays when a president makes a hasty promise without knowing if it’s possible to keep it." read the full account, A New Guantanamo by Stephanie Hessler

Louder with Crowder visits Gitmo
Obama has stained Gitmo. It’s well worth watching the whole thing. The terrorist prisoners certainly have it much better than U.S. prisoners. Find out what our enemies already know (thanks to Obama).

How's that release program working for you?
"Saudi Arabia said Wednesday that 11 men released from the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay are now on the kingdom's most-wanted list despite having attended its touted extremist rehabilitation program.President Barack Obama has signed an executive order closing the detention center at the naval base in Cuba, leaving countries scrambling over what to do with released detainees.
Saudi Arabia and terror experts defended the program for terror suspects, saying it is largely effective. The Pentagon has said it's unlikely to change its policy on prisoner transfers to the kingdom."
Apparently, Mr. Obama sees some good in closing Gitmo. Wasn't it just around 11 Saudi guys who flew the planes on 9/11 looking for martyrdom? After they lose the excess pounds they gained on Gitmo from the good food and free legal advice in the "rehab" program, they're good to go. And how many of the freed detainees are going to want to go home if they face a "touted extremist rehabilitation program." Send them to Canada. Most of the American leftist movie stars who threatened to go there in 2004 if Bush won went back on their promises. So there should be welcoming arms there. Or maybe George Soros has an island somewhere with a mansion.

When Obama releases the terrorists and jihadists along with the innocent
Where will they go? They've become accustomed to all the free food, outstanding medical care, free legal assistance, all the sports, TV and entertainment they want, clean rooms and laundry, access to education. So where will they go? Already we know they can be put in the front lines to become martyrs back home or "volunteer" to be suicide bombers. Scary stuff--for them, and for us. And also for all those liberal/marxist lawyers who rushed down there to warmer climes to do that difficult pro-bono work for them instead of our own poor and disadvantaged who may have been falsely accused of a crime. What if they don't want to be liberated? Will Obama force them to go home, or offer them sanctuary in the United States where they can turn against him? And us.Did you ever think on September 12, 2001, that we'd get to 2009 without another terrorist attack within our borders? (I mean one from the outside.)
