What you can say and what will get you cancelled

We can say, "China doll."
We can say, "dinner China."
We can say, "Chinese calligraphy."
We can say, " Chinese Communist Party.."
We can say, "Made in China."
We can say, "Chinese slave labor."
We can say, "all the tea in China."
We can say, "Chinese cabbage."
We can say, "Chinese silk."
We can say, "The great wall of China."

But we can't say, "The China Virus," even though the NIH and Congress have shown it to be so, and in February 2020 our major news outlets were calling it that.

"China virus outbreak has now killed six people and infected more than 300" CBS News, January 21, 2020.

"Economic impacts of Wuhan 2019‐nCoV on China and the world," Journal of Medical Virology, Feb. 18, 2020.

"News outlets contribute to anti-Asian racism with careless stock photos on coronavirus coverage." Media Matters, March 5, 2020

While Nancy Pelosi was calling Trump a racist for referring to a global threat as the "China virus," or the "Wuhan virus," which the media were also calling it, she was inviting tourists to come to San Francisco. ‘Come to Chinatown, we are careful, safe, and come join us.’ Fox News, Feb. 24, 2020.

According to a survey, the top 10 Astroturfers

TOP 10 ASTROTURFERS by Sharyl Attkisson

Astroturfers often disguise themselves and publish blogs, write letters to the editor, produce ads, start non-profits, establish Facebook and Twitter accounts, edit Wikipedia pages or simply post comments online to try to fool you into thinking an independent or grassroots movement is speaking. They use their partners in blogs and in the news media in an attempt to lend an air of legitimacy or impartiality to their efforts. They call truth a myth, then “de-bunk it;’ they build straw men then chop them down; and I think they make about 20% of their stories about LBGT, even though that’s 2% of the population. (My opinion, not Sharyl’s.)

How Media Matters deals with Rush Limbaugh

Rush Limbaugh insulted one woman taking on the sanctity of life teachings of the Catholic church, and apologized to her. Media Matters in an effort to shut him up permanently has launched a nationwide call to all progressives and leftists to destroy a popular, conservative radio talk show host by going after his sponsors--not just those with whom he has contracts, but anyone at local affiliate stations who advertise during the hours he is on and who have contracts with the local station. This is their business, they have employees, they contribute to the local economy. This is an attempt to destroy him, and in that effort is having a significant impact on these small businesses, many of whom can't supply their orders because their web sites have been snarled by leftists in a carefully orchestrated "book burning." The so-called fairness doctrine is just one more way to destroy the first amendment which has another clause being eroded by the HHS Mandate--the free exercise of religion. Be careful dear progressives, or you may be left with only turtles and milfoils (aquatic beetle) as your news sources.

"Anyone referring to the past to criticize the present should, together with all members of his family, be put to death. Officials who fail to report cases that have come under attention are equally guilty. After thirty days from the time of issuing the decree, those who have not destroyed their books are to be branded and sent to build the Great Wall. Books not to be destroyed will be those on medicine and pharmacy, divination by the turtle and milfoil, and agriculture and arboriculture."

Smack down from Alan Dershowitz

Two Soros beneficiaries and Obama water carriers get a smack down from Alan Dershowitz.

“Media Matters and Center for American Progress are two extremely left-bigoted groups that are so virulently anti-Israel and anti-supporters of Israel that they’ve gone over the line from anti-Zionism to anti-Semitism,” Dershowitz said. ”They now use the term ‘Israel firsters,’ the way anti-Catholic bigots used to use the term ‘Vatican firsters’ or ‘Irish firsters,’ as if to suggest Americans who support Israel have dual loyalty. This false charge goes back to the Bible — goes back to the Book of Esther, goes back thousands of years. It was one of Hitler’s justifications for killing the Jews: ‘Dual loyalty, they’re not good Germans, they’re not good Americans,’ whatever it is.”

Dershowitz has been vocal against Media Matters in recent days, making that charge of anti-Semitism. However, his classification of the Center for American Progress as borderline “anti-Semitic” is noteworthy because both Media Matters and the Center for Progress have received money directly from billionaire left-wing financier George Soros, who has faced similar charges in the past."
"The daily battle is waged in Media Matters’ emails, on CAP’s blogs, Middle East Progress and ThinkProgress and most of all on Twitter, where a Media Mattters official, MJ Rosenberg, regularly heaps vitriol on those who disagree as “Iraq war neocon liar” (the Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg) or having “dual loyalties” to the U.S. and Israel (the Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin). And while the Center for American Progress tends to walk a more careful line, warm words for Israel can be hard to find on its blogs." Weekly Standard
ThinkProgress, the Center for American Progress’ blog, is run by Faiz Shakir, who also serves as the organization’s vice president. The ThinkProgress blog has become extreme even by CAP standards, forcing Ken Gude, CAP’s national security director, to attempt to distance his center’s policy arm from its blogs. In a post jointly co-authored by Faiz Shakir and Ken Gude, the two men denied that their work was anti-Semitic, but avoided similarly ruling out that their work was anti-Israel, probably because such an assertion would have simply been unsupportable.

CAP and its various affiliated blogs have taken an enthusiastically uncritical approach to the Islamist Arab Spring and a hostile, critical approach to the State of Israel. At the ThinkProgress blog, Matt Duss described Israel’s border controls with Hamas-run Gaza as a “moral abomination” and compared the deaths of Islamist radicals who attempted to murder Israeli soldiers to the murders of Goodman, Chaney, and Schwerner in the South during the Civil Rights movement. Media Matters can't refute Beck on WikiLeaks ties George Soros

They (it) can be as sarcastic and scornful as they want, but nothing in this blog entry does anything other than spread Beck's theories that Soros' money through OSI is backing the treason of PFC Bradley Manning. I guess they get it once in awhile.

NPR Announces Plan to Bolster News Coverage of State Government Nationwide

George Soros, powerful wealthy Communist, is funding NPR journalists so they can be more "open and transparent," and then Juan Williams gets fired for admitting he's occasionally fearful of men in Muslim garb. Woot! That was fast, wasn't it. Doesn't some of our tax dollars go to fund NPR (National Public Radio) and don't many of my liberal friends and relatives just hang on every word? Whew! Well, at least NPR is an equal opportunity boss--Juan Williams is black, and he occasionally appears on Fox as the liberal commentator. A real two-fer, but I want my tax money back! Dump, turn off, excoriate NPR! Not only is it taking money from an open Communist, but it is practicing employment terrorism by firing anyone who doesn't toe the standard line.

Soros also created (with help from Mrs. Clinton) Media Matters, and is giving money to Huffington Post, which really didn't need any more help to fall over the cliff, but it probably wasn't making enough money to support all those nut cakes who after all, want to be paid their fair share too.

Weiner Matters--He's hired new staff

I finally got Weiner Facts to work--it's such a popular website, it's hard to get in.

"Check this one out! In the past, Weiner would have to go online to Media Matters to read about what he was supposed to say that day. But now, Weiner has changed all that. He just hired someone from Media Matters to work as his press secretary!"

Weiner Facts » Blog Archive » Weiner Matters

I hope Mr. Weinger is grateful--before Glenn Beck, no one had heard of him, and in politics, name recognition is everything. Media Matters is the anti-Bush, anti-conservative, anti-American site that filters the news for liberals. It's funded, I've heard, by George Soros, the Hungarian Communist who has had great luck with capitalism.

A million leftist monkeys typing, but they're no Shakespeare

"In the parable of the million monkeys banging on typewriters for a million years, the reward is supposed to be the complete works of Shakespeare. But have you heard the parable of the million interns? Here, the prize is Rush Limbaugh's head, and Bill O'Reilly's, and Brit Hume's, and pretty much any other prominent conservative or non-leftist who doesn't kowtow to the Democratic Party and its “netroots" army of Lilliputian cannibals. This, in a nutshell, is the vision behind a group most people have never heard of, at least not until this week, Media Matters for America." Good stuff. Jonah Goldberg
In articles and interviews [in the 90s], Brock [founder of Media Matters] outed himself as a liar. He confessed to lying in the Anita Hill book, even though the lies he admitted to were peripheral to his exoneration of Justice Clarence Thomas but devastating in what they said about Brock himself; he admitted he'd been a hatchet man and borderline extortionist. In a piece for Esquire - in which he was depicted bound to a tree, nipple exposed - Brock apologized to Bill Clinton and expressed regret over his "Troopergate" stories for the American Spectator. He said they were all true, mind you, but that he shouldn't have written them.
The hatchet work continues.

Senator Clinton's connections

If you want to know what the country could be like with Senator Clinton as President Clinton II, just google Governor Granholm of Michigan. The whole country could be more taxed to death than it already is. The Christian Right spokesmen who are trying to drum up support for a third party candidate that isn't divorced, pro-choice, Mormon or in recovery from cancer, needs to think about Granholm and then Perot. It was not Democrats who elected Bill Clinton, it was Republicans jumping ship because they said the first Bush lied about raising taxes. Well duh. That's what pols do. Get over it.

But if you want to know Senator Clinton's connection with Media Matters, which does her bidding in stopping freedom of speech read this. So you've got a Democratic candidate who will raise your taxes so you can have the quality of care that Medicaid recipients get, and then shut your mouth so you can't complain about it. What a combination.

Who funds Media Matters?

Wealthy Democrats, most with ties to the Clintons, either from former cabinet posts, or heavy campaign supporters. George Soros, an immigrant who has done extremely well with our economic system and wants more government in our lives just like the old country, is another brick in this wall against free speech. Media Matters was founded by David Brock, yes, the former conservative who came to fame writing about Anita Hill, then had an epiphany and rushed down the sawdust trail to switch parties. Media Matters goes after conservative talk radio--that's its whole reason for being. The name, "Media Matters," is brilliant. I'll give them that. It does matter--and most of the media are liberal, but like the babies who escape the abortionist mills and minorities who leave the plantation, some reporters, journalists, media executives, movie stars, sports figures and celebrities make it out alive to speak to the masses--those of us outside the beltway living in fly over country.

Harry Reid (D) is an important talkinghead/spokesperson/mouth for Media Matters. He almost would have nothing to say if they weren't coaching him from behind the curtain.

"And you, Scarecrows in radio land, have the effrontery to ask for a brain! You billowing bale of bovine fodder!!"

Pay back time for the MoveOn dot Org fiasco

Poor old Harry Reid. Can't get it right. Has to take his sound bites from Media Matters and haul it up to the halls of Congress. I doubt that he's ever listened to a Rush Limbaugh radio show.
Although Americans of goodwill debate the merits of this war, we can all agree that those who serve with such great courage deserve our deepest respect and gratitude. That is why Rush Limbaugh’s recent characterization of troops who oppose the war as “phony soldiers” is such an outrage.
Imagine old Harry defending the troops! Respect and gratitude, what a laugh. Rush is probably the biggest supporter of our troops out there. You can go to Rush's web site to see what the fuss is about. Don't EVER take the MSM's word for what is said on his show. Media Matter slices, dices and runs it through their blender.
