While 2021 saw the highest total number of gun deaths in the U.S., this statistic does not take into account the nation’s growing population. On a per capita basis, there were 14.6 gun deaths per 100,000 people in 2021 – the highest rate since the early 1990s, but still well below the peak of 16.3 gun deaths per 100,000 people in 1974.

Also notice it was during the Obama years the gun deaths crept up after dramatic decline following the Omnibus Crime bill in 94--before George Floyd, before Covid. I'd start looking at who George Soros funded in high crime rate cities. I don't have dates, but right now he has funded 70 prosecutors still in office. Another 12 have been removed.

Definitely an incorrect term. He's not a fact-checker, he's a fact-butcher.

The Democrats can finally sleep—power balance restored

Before the Soros funded days of rage in 2020, blacks were exceeding whites in rate of college enrollments, crime rates had fallen by half for blacks, they were entering the top 20% quintile in income very quickly, life expectancy at birth had increased more for African Americans than for Whites, and the biggest gaps in all indicators were between black males and black females, not between blacks and whites. The unemployment for blacks was the lowest since they'd been keeping records, and blacks taking the initiative to start small businesses was soaring under this president.

Something had to give. Trot out the big lie of systemic racism and police killing black men for no reason other than being black while assaulting the police. Democrats were frantic, but it worked. They are much more comfortable now--blacks out of work, their neighborhoods looted and burned, babies and children being shot. Fancy Nancy can finally get some rest. And Joe Biden can come out of the basement and mumble.

Smack down from Alan Dershowitz

Two Soros beneficiaries and Obama water carriers get a smack down from Alan Dershowitz.

Dershowitz has been vocal against Media Matters in recent days, making that charge of anti-Semitism. However, his classification of the Center for American Progress as borderline “anti-Semitic” is noteworthy because both Media Matters and the Center for Progress have received money directly from billionaire left-wing financier George Soros, who has faced similar charges in the past."

Geraldo Rivera ridiculed Glenn Beck on O'Reilly a few nights ago--called him paranoid and delusional because he warned us about the potential violence in the occupy movement. Where are all the alarmed Democrats who thought Sarah Palin shouldn't use the word "target" in her campaign. And guess who will come out on top? Soros, of course, the man with no guilt.

In comparison, the Koch Brothers don't have enough money to shine Soros' shoes, but the left loves to trot them out as funding all sorts of nefarious events and causes on the right. It must tough to live in Soros' brain or hide, a Hungarian Jew who collaborated with the Nazis, and a capitalist funding communist causes--he's already said he has no guilt--probably because he has no conscience.

Why are they demonizing the Koch brothers

When you see the Socialist/Communist/Progressives waving their posters at the various rallies, like Madison, or Washington in October, you always see something about the Koch brothers being behind some vast right wing conspiracy. I have no idea who they are or what they do, but progressives just turn purple at the mention of their name, kind of like Halliburton (in which so many liberals are invested) and so I noticed this item at Volokh.

Liberals control the vast majority of academic positions in almost every humanities and social science department in every major university in the country, with total budgets in the tens of billions.

Even in the libertarians’ tiny corner of the ideological universe, 10 million dollars would only keep the Cato Institute running from January to April this year, and leave nothing left for any other libertarian cause or organization. So the idea that the Kochs are having some huge influence on American politics through their ideological philanthropy is grossly exaggerated, at best.

Even more absurd is the notion that the Kochs’ political contributions are distorting American politics. The Obama campaign spent hundreds of million of dollars on the 2008 election. The 2010 midterm elections cost about $4 billion. The Koch’s relative spending is like pissing in an ocean. No, the reason that some liberals have latched on to the Kochs as their bogeymen is that this is what demagogic political propagandists due to win support from their base. They find a mysterious, ominous-sounding (billionaires! who sell oil!–what could raise greater suspicions on the Left?) villain on whom to blame their troubles, and rouse the passions of the partisans of their sides. As these things go, the Kochs are a more innocuous villain than, say, the “Likudnik” bogeymen of the mid-2000s, or Pat Robertson’s “secular humanists who support a New World Order” of the 1990s, but it’s all the same phenomenon."

I must have missed something in history class and 50 years of reading newspapers and watching TV news, but I can't recall a talk show host ever taking over a government, but a Communist? Yeah. Many times. Anyway, Robert Lenzer adds to Soros' smears by chiming in with:

"Soros was especially bitter and harshly critical of the rolke played in our political discourse by the Fox News Channel, owned by Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp. as a very dangerous precedent for the “open society” that has prevailed in the U.S. for 200 years. Soros also characterized Fox newscaster Glenn Beck, who has been falsely vilifying Soros publicly, as a throwback to the wild and crazy radical elements that never before were given such a public pedestal to foment their hate. Beck has been trying to stir up public hatred of Soros, suggesting that the investment genius and significant philanthropist was maliciously trying to take over the U.S. for his own purposes."

Lenzer needs to stop having his information filtered through Soros supported Media Matters, and start watching Beck personally.

Forbes has probably lost credibility with millions of loyal Beck fans. Lenzer apparently doesn't grasp the difference between news and opinion, perhaps because so much of what we get from our media is opinion in place of news reporting. Soros is Beck's schtick--not the news team.

Then our legislators, most of whom are on the dole from their Democrat supporter fat cats, chime in about the "good old days" of honest reporting and bipartisanship. As Dan Witte of Forest Park, IL noted: "Politicians are consistently bipartisan on earmarks--self-serving and disingenuous."

Lenzer has been invited to appear on the Beck program to defend his point of view that Beck has falsely accused Soros of being something he isn't. Prove it Mr. Lenzer. As Beck always tells his viewers, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH.

Christians and George Soros

Many Christians refuse to watch Glenn Beck. They think he's an alarmist, a kook libertarian, or don't like his Mormon faith.  In recent weeks, there are two very good reasons to be watching and listening--his story about inflation (read articles on today's WSJ on inflationary prices on A5 and C7*), and his story about George Soros infiltrating many Christian organizations and the media, essentially buying them up. 

The Christian Left, and even many evangelicals who have become really sloppy in aligning themselves as "emerging" or "emergent" are involved in promoting pro-choice, illegal immigration, gay marriage and anti-Israel movements. Last night, using his typical high-tech, high touch methods to illustrate a point, Beck rolled out an enormous sheet of brown butcher paper on which were written the names of all the "charities" George Soros, an atheist, supports, most of which are the antithesis of the Gospel and the basic concepts on which the United States was founded.  Soros is working hard behind the scenes to get Beck off the air.  However, there are many Christians now wise to his tricks and are providing some balance and research to fight him. Even a little blog like mine gets the hit and run socialists posting in my comments or sending me e-mails(removed if they get nasty) if I speak out about Soros.

Jim Wallis is probably the best known of the Evangelical Left (although the evangelical part of him has certainly been starved  as the left of him swells and gets ever more pompous) who has taken Soros funding to support his left wing agenda.  Two years ago our Vineyard Church here in Columbus invited him as a major speaker at its rally for peace and justice (I'm paraphrasing here), and I suspect this would not happen today as Wallis' links to radical movements and marxism become more clear to even the most obtuse, warm and squishy Christian.  Also, the Christian left has been quite alarmed by the Tea Party strength, as it eats away at its own power base, so it is fighting back.

How far left have the Evangelicals swung?  Richard Cizik, the former head of the National Association of Evangelicals, now works for George Soros funding organization called the Open Society Institute.  This is beyond teetering on a cliff--he's completely fallen off the mountain top.

It's time to not only carefully read the "we believe" statement, but the mission statements, and the board of directors or trustees of any Christian organization you've been supporting or plan to support. We are at war.

Spooky Dude--The George Soros Empire

I know a lot of Democrats personally who seem deathly afraid of Glenn Beck's influence. You know, the guy who next to Oprah has probably sent more Americans running off to the library or book store than any other modern commentator. They've never listened to or watched him, but do watch broadcast and cable shows that smear him and tell lies. They seem to be in favor of reading books and information on the web, unless it disturbs their favorite biases. These Democrats and/or "Independents" aren't afraid of Ariana Huffington, or Michael Moore or George Soros, all of whom are truly frightening in their power within the media and anti-American agenda, but they fear a man who tells you to do your own research, get down on your knees and pray with your children, and read the Constitution and founding fathers. Go figure.

But Beck IS very hard on George Soros. Beck is first and foremost an entertainer, and pretty good at cartoonish voices--he does a great imitation of the heavily accented (Hungarian) Soros. As Communists go, Soros is an extremely successful Capitalist. He couldn't have become so wealthy (richer than Bill Gates) living in a Communist country where he'd have to be active in the party to be a really good crook, but could in a free-market country, so he just tries to bring about our downfall by "buying" us. He's buying reporters for NPR, Secretaries of State offices, judgeships, advocating the legalization of marijuana to further stuptify brains, and running boycotts against those news organizations who tell the truth about him. Spooky dude, indeed!

George Soros, powerful wealthy Communist, is funding NPR journalists so they can be more "open and transparent," and then Juan Williams gets fired for admitting he's occasionally fearful of men in Muslim garb. Woot! That was fast, wasn't it. Doesn't some of our tax dollars go to fund NPR (National Public Radio) and don't many of my liberal friends and relatives just hang on every word? Whew! Well, at least NPR is an equal opportunity boss--Juan Williams is black, and he occasionally appears on Fox as the liberal commentator. A real two-fer, but I want my tax money back! Dump, turn off, excoriate NPR! Not only is it taking money from an open Communist, but it is practicing employment terrorism by firing anyone who doesn't toe the standard line.

Soros also created (with help from Mrs. Clinton) Media Matters, and is giving money to Huffington Post, which really didn't need any more help to fall over the cliff, but it probably wasn't making enough money to support all those nut cakes who after all, want to be paid their fair share too.

How to be mislead on budget and policy

The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities (CBPP) is one of three left wing think tanks funded by the Democracy Alliance which is funded by George Soros. The other two are the Center for American Progress and the Economic Policy Institute. They are all non-profits, but not non-partisan. I just read a March 5 report by the CBPP which advises that we’d be in much worse trouble if it weren’t for ARRA! Woot! President and Chief Executive Officer of Center for American Progress is John Podesta, who served as chief of staff to Bill Clinton. One of the directors of the Economic Policy Institute is Andy Stern, who runs the SEIU, who drafted and designed the health care bill to benefit unions and is a regular White House visitor and confidant. His is a global labor movement. These folks have more agendas, plans, white papers, and tax payer hustles than you can read in a month of Sundays. There's hardly a word in English they can't turn upside down, inside out and squishy. And they have handsome, beautifully designed web pages that sound very patriotic and reasonable. Don’t be fooled. They are all Marxists. Capital M. Their grandiose plans have all been tried and found wanting before.

A year after the promised transparency

White House dot gov yesterday, when everyone was focused on the crotch bomber or leaving the office for a 4 day week-end, another 25,000 new WH visitor list were posted for Sept 16-30. It was announced on Sept. 4, and this list appeared on December 30. It's pretty tedious to look through (like the e-mails of climategate), and by the time you're finished reading all the times the words "historic commitment," "unprecedented transparency," "milestones in transparency," and "transparency initiatives" the phrases begin to sound a bit hollow, PR-ish, and oh so campaign trail. Well, they promised December, they didn't say when, or how much. Who knew everyone who walked through as a tourist would be included with SEIU reps, CEOs of banks and equity firms and hundreds of lobbyists (apparently they are OK as long as they are "transparent"). Looks like more of the same MO--overwhelm us with information and then strike when the public is flat out gob smacked. While we look at all the energy CEOs' visits, they'll sneak cap and trade or amnesty for illegals in.

He met with the president twice that day (one meeting had 119 attendees the other 16). On that day he also met one-on-one with Larry Summers. He also met one-on-one with Summers on February 4.

On October 29, Jamie Dimon met with the president twice, it appears in the same meetings as Blankfein. He also met on that day with Larry Summers but with another person present. He also met one-on-one with Rahm Emanuel that day, something Blankfein did not get to do.

Steven Rattner, who for a time ran the government's auto task force and is co-founder of the investment firm, Quadrangle Group, met with Larry Summers over 25 times.

Microsoft's Steve Ballmer met with Summers once. George Soros met with Summers in February.

While SEIU President Andy Stern doesn't show up on the visitors list this time, after topping it last time, his top assistant Anna Burger met with the President 10 times.

Leo Gerard, president of the United Steelworkers, met with the President 4 times.

In addition to his many meetings with Larry Summers, Steve Rattner met with the President twice.

David Rubenstein co-founder of the private equity firm, Carlyle Group, was in the 119 attendee meeting with Lloyd Blankfein and Jamie Dimon, when they met with the president.

Daniel Weiss, Senior Fellow and the Director of Climate Strategy, for the George Soros front group, Center for American Progress, visited with the President (in large groups) 4 times.
