Democrats ignored all the attacks on their own cities and other federal property like court houses and statues. Democrat mayors and councils said, "Ho hum, no big deal" as their citizens were terrorized by hoodlums, miscreants and vandals. ["Thugs" is now considered a racist term because Trump used it, even though Obama used it before him.] Their cities were looted and burned by BLM, a well funded Marxist organization, and Antifa an anti-fascist Fascist group who can fund their own travel and expenses. They ignored attacks on police and supported the "defund police" movement. They then elected Joe Biden the guy who wrote the $30 Billion 1994 crime bill that has funneled so much money to the states to fund those same police departments and which some blame for so many black men in prison. Bill Clinton said, "You can't have civil justice without order and safety." Democrats are well organized to take advantage of chaos and crises, but are really messed up inside their hearts and heads.

Violence against pro-Trump supporters in DC
There was a huge rally for President Trump on Saturday. I’ve seen the photos—it was definitely more than 10,000 which was reported by the Wall St. Journal. Tens of thousands. They came from all over the country. I know a few people who went, so I’ll ask them. The reports were it was peaceful until after the rally when “counter-protestors” Here’s how Buzzfeed (leftist online media) describes Antifa. “Antifa, short for anti-fascist, is a decentralized movement that protests against the far-right, with some occasionally resorting to violence.” Yes, tell that one to all the people in Minneapolis, Kenosha, Portland, etc. whose businesses and city buildings were burned, looted or destroyed in “occasional violence” during the summer of 2020. Those silly Biden supporters who think now everything is going to calm down need to see some of the attacks on children and restaurant diners.

Could Democrats make this worse? Yes.
A friend of mine who lives in the DC area says, “I just returned from driving Gil to work. In case you see the demonstrations on TV, here’s what I saw. In the corner area of the Capitol lawn by the Senate side, there are around 100 demonstrator/protestors. They look like the typical protest crowd in DC — hired homeless and unemployed youths making quick money as paid protestors. They are waving flags and signs for impeaching and removing. These are not volunteers or a spontaneous group. They are clearly part of an organized-for-media demonstration (right on a corner where they can be conveniently photographed, but out of the way of tourists and people doing business at the Capitol. Disgusting because it is carefully organized to show well on TV to look bigger than it is and to have closeups that are photogenic. We see it often for various causes."

What happened to Virginia? asks Michael Smith
"Joe Morrissey, the Democrat Virginia lawmaker who was jailed four years ago after the sex scandal involving his teenage secretary, wins a Virginia state Senate seat by a massive margin.
Ralph Northam who appeared in a KKK costume or blackface (he isn't sure) is still the Virginia's Governor.
Justin Fairfax, credibly accused of the sexual battery of an ex-girlfriend, is still Virginia's Lieutenant Governor.
Mark Herring, who, like Northam, admitted to appearing in blackface, is still Virginia's Attorney General.
Virginia went blue after the entire state government turned into a Democrat majority.
Some things I take from this:
1. Democrats are either hypocrites or they don't really care about sexual misconduct - or both.
2. Democrats are either hypocrites or they don't really care about exposition of racism by their leadership - or both.
3. Virginia, the birthplace of Thomas Jefferson (and by extension, the Declaration of Independence), has been infiltrated by Deep State loyalists working for the federal government.
4. The Virginia GOP is awful."
My comment on Mike’s excellent post: Yes, the Virginia GOP is probably awful, but primarily Virginia has gone blue because it’s a suburb of DC, it’s where the deep state lives, sends their kids to school and worships. It’s where they shop and socialize. When their party is out of office, they just hunker down with a new position in a non-profit or think tank.
Trump is a terrible threat, for some reason. Even though his policies have brought hope and new sources of income to people lower on the socio-economic scale of government career workers. he’s poked some holes, stirred up a few hornets’ nests, and questioned what their comfy life is all about. It’s not business as usual under Trump and that has distressed some very powerful people.

Tracy, guest blogger, visits DC during the Kavanaugh hearings!
So my husband and I went to Washington DC for our 20th anniversary . We had the trip planned a month and a half in advance, but it happened to end up being last week and weekend when all the Kavanaugh protests were happening . We got to be in the gallery on the senate floor when Mitch McConnell and crying Chuck Schumer addressed the subject of moving forward with the vote. It was so neat to actually be in there . Anyways , we went to all the protests - we were very respectful, minus the fact that our presence itself was offensive because we wore our Trump gear and I had on a “Confirm Kavanaugh” shirt .
Despite the fact that we were just quietly observing these protests, we were verbally attacked multiple times . I was called a gender traitor more times than I can even count . One woman told us ( after observing our trump gear ) to go back to Alabama , Mississippi , or wherever the “F%*^” we were from. ( We are from GA ) . Perhaps she should take a look at the electoral map and see all the red. . . why would she assume we were from Alabama or Mississippi ? We were yelled at to get the F out of there , that we weren’t welcome .
One woman walked right up to us with her daughter who appeared to be about 15 or 16 years old . First she told us that President Trump is only making America great if you’re white and she went on to talk about our white privilege ( she was also white) . She then went on to ask if we had daughters . My husband told her yes , that we have two daughters about her daughter’s age . She then proceeded to tell us that she hopes that our daughters get raped and get pregnant and get denied an abortion .
I could go on and on with stories about our DC trip. So many people would walk by us , see our shirts or hats and give us a discreet thumbs up but keep walking as to not associate with us in fear of being attacked. On the other hand, some would stop and talk and hang out with us and we met some awesome people whom I hope to stay in touch with . One guy came up to us and started up a conversation with us and asked if he could hang with us . I told him of course ! He then pulled his MAGA hat out of his backpack and put it on because he felt safe to do so since he had others with him.
It was truly an eye opening experience. You see it on TV and it’s nuts . . . but seeing it in person is a lot different . We actually witnessed the famous protestors banging and trying to claw open the Supreme Court doors . It was pure craziness .
The DC and Capitol police are amazing and on top of it. Super kind and helpful, but when it came down to business - they weren’t playing . Even in the angry mob - I felt safe for the most part with the exception of a couple of times where I felt nervous . They also had undercover cops everywhere .

She’s dead, but not a terrorist. Democrats unhinged with hate words
DC Police have said the woman they shot and killed today (unarmed last I heard) was an isolated incident, and not an act of terrorism. Meanwhile, Democrats have called Republicans jihadists, arsonists, anarchists and terrorists for resisting a health care law that will consolidate government control over more of the economy without any health benefits for the people.

School choice for the poor; private schools for the rich
The Obamas send their daughters to a toney private school, as do many politicians who come to Washington. It’s their choice—they love their kids and want the best for them. However, in 2012 he dropped that same choice (charter schools) for other Washington, DC families, mostly black. It’s not that he doesn’t care that black children succeed (because they do in those schools), he’s just more afraid of the unions who helped elect him.
The Opportunity Scholarship Program offers vouchers to low-income students to attend private schools. A 2010 study published by Patrick Wolf of the University of Arkansas found that the scholarship recipients had graduation rates of 91%. The graduation rate for D.C. public schools was 56%, and it was 70% for students who entered the lottery for a voucher but didn't win.
Because the president's teachers union allies are opposed to school choice for poor people, Mr. Obama ignores or downplays these findings. He repeatedly has tried to shutter the program, even though it is clearly advancing his stated goal of increasing graduation rates and closing the black-white achievement gap.

Trayvon v. Olijawon
The media decided the death of Trayvon Martin, a black teen, a story worthy to be trumpeted across the nation as race hatred because the man who killed him in FL was, they thought, white (actually he was Hispanic). But when black teen Olijawon Griffin was robbed of his jacket and phone by nine other black teens and then stabbed to death when he tried to get it back in DC, it only made a blip on the local news there. Black on black crime just doesn't sell or get the journalism award. (He had a FB page—I looked at his football and h.s. graduation photos).
When his mom, Lunette Griffin, wept and went to court, it didn't make the news in Columbus or LA or the cable news channels like when Trayvon's parents did. The president didn't expand on or stir up racial tensions with the story and say Olijawon could have been his son. The one year anniversary of Olijawon's death in November will not be observed except by family and friends. Trayvon's mom is interviewed on gun violence. No one will interview Lunette about knives or gangs of teens who roam the streets of DC. Why? It would meet no political agenda for the President or the media. Black teens robbing and killing a black teenager with a knife will not set any racial fires smoldering or pass any new gun laws.

Anti-Beck rally on the Mall in October
Here's what one reader of American Spectator thinks:
- The buses from Vegas will be there, filled with SEIU members that voted for Obama, but are now out of work because Obama made it verboten for large corporations with high corporate salaries to convention there.
Other buses will come from Michigan filled with UAW people, who have no work because they priced themselves out of the car market, helping Toyota & Honda catch up to GM.
Louisiana will send buses of ACORN people who are out of work because their contemporaries were willing to help set up El Salvadoran underage prostitution rings.
New York will send buses of ex-N.Y. Times workers who are out of jobs because people don't choose to read their slant on the news anymore.
California will send buses of NEA members who are out of work because their illegal students' parents don't pay state taxes, and the state is on the verge of fiscal collapse...
In other words, it will be an accurate cross-section of Real True-Blue Americans, who fortunately now have enough time to export their excellent agenda to the rest of our great country!

It's not easy to get space in Washington to hold an event. In fact, they limit the port-a-potties according to the number of buses coming. So if you're using public transportation, bicycle or walking, don't drink too many fluids.
Washington DC was built in a drained swamp (these days we call them wet lands), and the swamp is attempting to reclaim the land.
