The mis-named Women's Health Protection Act of 2021

This is the Leftists' reaction to the Texas Heartbeat Law. If enacted, the Women’s Health Protection Act would endanger essentially all state-level abortion restrictions, existing state and federal conscience protection laws, and various provisions limiting taxpayer funding for abortions.

H.R.3755 - Women's Health Protection Act of 2021--The most anti-life, anti-woman piece of legislation ever proposed by loyal, devoted Catholic Speaker Pelosi. It uses every intersectional and CRT term you can imagine. It lies about Black women, who bear the brunt of abortions. This Act which has "women" in the title, uses "person" more often in the language than women. Since only women have babies, it ought to be tossed just for that reason. Not once does it mention the ghoulish methods used to kill late term babies or the selling of their body parts.

"To protect a person’s ability to determine whether to continue or end a pregnancy,"

"for the preservation of the life or health of the person who is pregnant."

"access to abortion services is critical to the health of every person capable of becoming pregnant. "

"This Act is intended to protect all people with the capacity for pregnancy—cisgender women, transgender men, non-binary individuals, those who identify with a different gender,"

"unduly burdening people’s personal and private medical decisions" [seems that doesn't matter for the jab where the power of the feds can force you out of your job]

"where a person’s life and health is at risk" [but not the little person who matters the most--U.S. is one of 4 countries in the world where a baby can be aborted on the due date]

"Nothing in this Act shall be construed to authorize any government to interfere with a person’s ability to terminate a pregnancy" [at any time for any reason, and no previous care before termination is required]

"affect a person’s constitutional right to terminate a pregnancy," [there is no such right in the Constitution]

This is NOT HEALTH. This is legalizing murder and shifting more power to the federal government than it already has.

Telling black women to abort their future in the name of health and liberation

New ways to oppress blacks. Tell them that aborting their children is reproductive justice and liberation. And feature it during Black History month. I wonder how much these women earn for taking their show on the road. They've been paid speakers as "Christians" for years. More black babies are legally killed in 4 days than 80 years of lynching. Why isn't it called "systemic racism?"

"Ohio State's Center for the Study of Religion for "Religion, Healing and the Movement for Black Lives," from 4:30─6 p.m., featuring these presentations:

• "Black Spirituality and the Creation of Spaces for Healing and Liberation" with Dr. Elise Edwards (Baylor University)

• "Trusting Black Women: Reproductive Justice as Black Liberation" with Dr. Monique Moultrie, Georgia State University"

Biden and Abortion

 A statement from Mike Gonidakis, President of Ohio Right to Life

 "While Governor of Ohio, John Kasich’s strong pro-life convictions enabled him to stand against the violence of abortion and work alongside Ohio Right to Life to strengthen protections for Ohio’s most vulnerable. As a man of faith, Kasich claims his policy was informed by what countless people of faith hold dear: that every human life is precious and that abortion is morally unacceptable. It is for this reason that Kasich’s support of Joe Biden is so deeply troubling.”

 “Throughout his candidacy, Joe Biden has made his wholehearted endorsement of abortion abundantly clear. Supporting a candidate who believes abortion should be legal up to the point of birth flies in the face of faith and even human decency. You cannot faithfully stand for life and back Joe Biden.

 We call on John Kasich to rescind his support."

Two months ago

Where were you 2 months ago? Sept 8. Looking back at my diary, I see it was a quiet, peaceful Sunday, good church service and we were getting back into our fall routine after a great summer at Lakeside. Not a thought about brain cancer and how our lives would change forever in a few weeks.

And where were you 2 months before you were born? I was living a very quiet, peaceful life in my mother's womb, kicking and swimming, and so were you (different years and different mother, of course). Mom was 27 and chasing after my 2 older sisters. I don't know if we--all of us--were living at 203 E. Hitt St., not sure I ever asked when they bought the home I remember. The newspapers were full of the growing tension in Europe caused by Hitler who in a few weeks, about the time of my birth, would march into Poland, but the U.S., including FDR, was still planning to be neutral.

Two months before you and I were born we were the same persons we are today, just smaller. Yet there are women walking into "clinics" today, November 8, who have changed their minds and will kill their babies who could have survived outside the womb. “Oh, but that's rare,” you say—“It's a woman's right.” OK, name the figure, the number of babies, that is acceptable to you. 50? 100? Perhaps 1,000? Pick a number.

And remember, once you too were counting down 2 months to launch.

Men need abortions, too—NARAL

"Women aren't the only people who get pregnant or the only people who need to access abortion." —NARAL.  Only in a Democrat world. The irony is in this article they are referring to transwomen as men who might need abortions. https://rewire.news/article/2019/03/01/women-are-not-the-only-ones-who-get-abortions/

Never mind, it wasn’t a baby. Stop grieving.

OK, parents, time to stop grieving for that lost child from 1964 or 1980 or last week. It wasn't a baby, you didn't love her, and that red hair and sweet little toes were just in your imagination. She wasn't human and she wasn't your long awaited daughter. New Yorkers believes that. Wait a few years and they'll say the same thing about your toddler.

https://www.lifenews.com/2019/01/16/new-york-bill-allowing-abortions-up-to-birth-says-a-person-is-only-a-human-being-who-has-been-born/?

The “Reproductive Health Act” redefines a “person” as “a human being who has been born and is alive,” according to Breitbart. The state bill also describes abortion as a “fundamental right.”

This language will allow unborn babies to be aborted for basically any reason up to birth in New York. It looks like it will pass in the new Democrat-controlled state legislature this winter. Gov. Andrew Cuomo has threatened to hold up the budget until it does.

The legislation goes beyond Roe v. Wade, allowing abortions even when the Supreme Court has said states may regulate them, according to the pro-life leaders. Late-term abortions, which currently are illegal in New York, would be allowed, and non doctors would be allowed to perform them.

If you voted for Mrs. Clinton--WHY?

The issues important to voters between New York and LA in 2016 where Trump won were,
1) terrorism,
2) economy,
3) education,
4) jobs,
5) health care costs.

I have no idea what mattered to those voters on the left coast, but it appears,
1) Hillary is biologically a woman, although that matters in nothing else to the left,
2) abortion on demand especially for the poor and minorities,
3) raising minimum wage (4% of hourly employees) to keep the poor at the bottom longer,
4) illegal immigration to change the racial mix of the U.S.,
5) higher taxes and more regulations to strangle American small businesses so the big guys can hold them back and reduce competition.

If you voted for Mrs. Clinton, and I missed your reason(s), let me know. For a lot of people it was her name wasn't Trump. According to the polls additional concerns showed Republicans cared more about poverty and race relations than Democrats.

Know your abortion rights

You have the right to insist that your abortion can only be performed by a licensed physician.

You have the right to know the medical malpractice history of this physician and to know whether his or her license to practice medicine has ever been suspended or revoked.

You have the right to know if this doctor has an insurance policy that will protect you in case you are injured or killed during this procedure.

You have the right to insist that if you are injured during your abortion, you are to be immediately transferred by ambulance to the nearest emergency hospital or trauma center.

You have the right not to have an abortion.  Regardless of your age, marital status or any other facor, no one has the legal right to make you have an abortion.  If anyone tries to force you into this decision against your will, contact a pregnancy center in your community.

Do not sign anything until you have read it completely and are certain that you understand everything it is saying.

Do not sign anything until you are given a copy to take with you.

Do not sign anything that contains blank spaces or information that you believe is incomplete or inaccurate.

Do not sign anything that says you will not sue the clinic or doctor if you are injured or killed during the abortion.

It is estimated that 64% of women who have abortions have been pressured by parents, boyfriend, or peers. That is the un-choice.

Ignorance about abortion, on both sides

This was written by Abby Johnson who runs a non-profit, And then there were none, to help former abortion workers, of which she was one. She has also had abortions, and is also a Christian.
"Yes, in the United States, a woman can get an abortion until the date of birth. There are several providers who will perform abortions in the third trimester. Many believe that these abortion law only take place for severe fetal anomaly, but that is not the case.

We had a worker leave not too long ago from a late term abortion provider. She said that if they were going to do 10 abortions a day, 8 of them would be past 26 weeks. And out of those 8, 6 would be completely healthy babies.

The laws allow for abortion into the third trimester for physical AND emotional health. What that means is that a woman can walk into a late term abortion provider and state that she is emotionally distressed about her pregnancy and that will be a legitimate excuse (under the law) to terminate her pregnancy up until the date of birth.
States can legislate to protect babies from abortion in the third trimester. However, there are several states that have absolutely no laws on the books regarding late term abortion.

The bottom line is that healthy babies are killed every day up until the date of birth in the United States. This is what our current laws allow. But in the end, there is no difference in the humanity of a child at 8 weeks compared to a child at 30 weeks. If we are willing to brutally murder an innocent child in the womb during the first and second trimesters without batting an eye, it should be no surprise that we can kill them at any age."
After reading this, are you still "pro-choice," and do you still support Planned Parenthood?

He has certainly transformed his party

How has Obama transformed America? When he was a state senator from Illinois his voting record on abortion was the most extreme of any elected politician. But he's certainly emboldened his party. The liberal fact checkers turn themselves inside out on Obama's record on abortion to twist the facts, but they can’t deny his results.

http://www.nationaljournal.com/health-care/cruz-senate-democrats-abortion-bill-is-the-war-on-women-20140715

"The bill is really about just one thing: It seeks to strip away from elected lawmakers the ability to provide even the most minimal protections for unborn children, at any stage of their prenatal development," said Carol Tobias, president of the National Right to Life Committee. "While the proposal is so sweeping and extreme that it would be difficult to capture its full scope in any short title, calling the bill the 'Abortion Without Limits Until Birth Act' would be more in line with truth-in-advertising standards."

Choice or aggression?

President Obama proclaimed “we need fathers to recognize that responsibility doesn’t end at conception.” In a sense, of course, he is absolutely right. But the problem is that, in another sense, he is completely wrong: Male responsibility really does end at conception. Men these days can choose only sex, not fatherhood; mothers alone determine whether children shall be allowed to exist. Legalized abortion was supposed to grant enormous freedom to women, but it has had the perverse result of freeing men and trapping women. . .

“Abortion facilitates women’s heterosexual availability,” Catherine MacKinnon [radical feminist] pointed out: “In other words, under conditions of gender inequality [abortion] does not liberate women; it frees male sexual aggression. The availability of abortion removes the one remaining legitimized reason that women have had for refusing sex besides the headache.” Perhaps that is why, she observed, “the Playboy Foundation has supported abortion rights from day one.” In the end, MacKinnon pronounced, Roe ’s “right to privacy looks like an injury got up as a gift,” for “virtually every ounce of control that women won” from legalized abortion “has gone directly into the hands of men.”

Bryant Gumbel vs. the NRA

Well said, Bryant.

Who has killed more Americans--Planned Parenthood which both the President and Democrats support or the NRA? Democrats put abortion in the political presidential platform and call it women's health. Or wait, let's leave out the NRA and just say murder/suicide by guns, most illegally owned. And let's not say all aborted babies, let's reduce that to just aborted black babies. How about that Bryant? 38% of the abortions are for black women.

Annual deaths in the U.S. by: Guns - 31,000+ (19K suicide, 12K homicide or accident) Abortion - 1,200,000+ but that's only counting medical and surgical, not chemical.

Democrats want choice only to kill the unborn

Democrats claim to be pro-choice, but that's only when it comes to killing babies in the womb. They don't want you to have the right to choose your kids' school, work without joining a union, buy a gun, pay people whatever you contract to pay them if they choose to work for you, buy things you want to buy without regulations constantly interfering and so on. They also don't want you to express your religion in public, or even in private if it conflicts with one of their favorite projects. They want you to change your vocabulary, what you eat, and where you hang the American flag. They want to destroy businesses if the owners don't buy their party line. No, Democrats are statists. And only the state has freedom.

Yes, Republicans also recommend restricting choice—like not killing the unborn or people over 75. Or not sending young men and women into battle with their hands tied with silly REO regulations.  Like not decimating the poor with legalized gambling.  Some choices are better than others.

Why I left the Democratic party

Michelle Bachmann wrote in her autobiography.

“In 1976, I was still a Democrat. The Democratic Party, while it was then edging toward an abortion-on-demand stance, still allowed room in its ranks for pro-life leaders. Carter himself proved to be a clover waffle in the abortion issue, suggesting that he was pro-life to the pro-lifers and prochoice to the prochoicers--and yet the media, always Carter friendly, never nailed him on his hypocrisy. So in our naiveté, we failed to realize that Carter was playing a duplicitous double game. And the Republican Party, meanwhile, still seemed at that time to be dominated by defenders of the proabortion stance.

Yet back in the seventies, the parties had not yet sorted themselves out on the rival issue of abortion. So in 1976, many pro-life and socially conservative Americans could be found conscientiously voting for the Carter-Mondale ticket, thinking they were voting pro-life. And Marcus and I did more than that; we helped on his campaign, handing out fliers and making phone calls.”

I remember it was still possible to be a pro-life Democrat and a Christian evangelical back in the 80s—at least in Ohio--maybe even into the early 90s. Although I wasn’t particularly political then.  Campaigners kept quiet about the issue.  But then they really clamped down. By 1996, there was no point in even struggling with the issue.  The party of the poor and dispossessed and minorities had become the party of death on a huge scale—with 38% of the 50 million abortions being for black women--and much wealthier.  Now abortion was included in the Democrat platform—promoting killing the smallest and weakest of society in order to placate the lust for power in the women’s movement and to “cure” poverty.

Democrats are so classy

They have a child holding this poster in the Texas capitol where they also threatened to show their “lady parts” and toss used tampons and sanitary napkins.  Wow.  These women are desperate to kill babies after 20 weeks gestation.

Where have the smart women gone?

Have you seen the creepy, sexist, anti-black, anti-woman, anti-common sense ad by the pro-abortion forces?  Here's the setting:  gorgeous, athletic black man, beautifully dressed, sitting by a romantic fire, drink in hand, sexy voice, and encouraging abortion?  Really?  With 40% of abortions for black women, they really need to find additional ways to marginalize African Americans?  I guess the sexploitation ads used in the Obama campaign worked so well, they decided to push the envelope. Were all the smart women aborted in the last 40 years?

Abortion is not “reproductive health”

It’s sure death for the baby, but what about the mother?  So why do Democrats push abortion as a “health” issue. It’s anti-health. And our government is trying to export it and fund it for black and brown women in developing countries.

  • subsequent preterm birth;
  • placenta previa (a complication during pregnancy where the placenta partially or totally covers the mother’s cervix and which can cause severe bleeding before or during delivery);
  • subsequent suicide or suicidal ideation;
  • major depression;
  • substance abuse;
  • anxiety;
  • sleeping disorders;
  • breast cancer as a result of the loss of the protective effect of a first full-term pregnancy;
  • miscarriage;
  • ectopic pregnancy;
  • and death.

What is this called?

100_2650

It’s a kitchen tool from my stove drawer, and I think I’ve had it at least 51 years.  I think its purpose is to remove hot things from water—like baby bottles being sterilized—something we used to do, when we moms made formula.  For the last few decades I’ve only used it occasionally—probably for salads or to pull something hot out of the oven or microwave. But I don’t know what it’s called.

I was watching YouTube and an OB-GYN, Dr. Levantino, speaking on Priests for Life while rather drily describing a 2nd trimester abortion (D & E), of which he’d done several hundred. He was using fetal models, but had the actual tools to dilate the cervix and invade the uterus (that’s a medical term—invade—not kidding).  My tool has some semi-sharp teeth for griping, but his were very pointed and sharp  and straight,  less curving.  He described going into the uterus with the tool, grabbing an arm or leg of a living baby with those sharp teeth, all by feel since he can’t see what he’s doing, and twisting and pulling, until a little arm or leg came out. The limb or heart or lung was then laid on a tray because after the abortion, all the pieces had to reassembled or the woman/girl could hemorrhage.

I don’t think I’ll use this tool again.

How many pro-choice voters, who send donations to Planned Parenthood, the largest provider of abortions in the U.S.,  know what goes on during an abortion?  The doctor said sometimes he pulled out a little face that was looking back at him.
