Letitia, another DEI hire, campaigned to get Trump

The latest non-crime and ridiculous "award" of nearly half a million (paid out to whom since there was no victim and no crime?) for "civil fraud" against Trump brings back to memory how our federal government created a housing/mortgage free fall in 2007-2008 and sent our entire nation into a recession by over valuing homes and getting inadequately funded suckers to fall for the trap. The government backed mortgage agencies have been over evaluating the real estate market for decades. We were helping our son buy a home at that time, and the ridiculous financing of that era was unbelievable--so we went the standard route with a solid down payment. Just call me Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac. The only crime was that of AG Letitia, another DEI hire, vowing in her campaign to get Trump. She used Trump to get elected. She called him "illegitimate" meaning she publicly campaigned on not believing in the results of the 2016 election. Isn't that illegal? Republicans are call Nazis for believing the 2020 election was a fraud. No one else would have ever been charged with what the government has done for decades.

In 2008 I wrote a poem about the fed chair and the Secretary of the Treasury.

"I’ve got the low down, trillion dollar, Ben and Henry Blues"
by Norma Bruce ©

Woke up this morning ‘bout five fifteen,
Read my big ol Bible and a new magazine,
Jumped in the van, turning on the key
Let me tell you mama, there’s no stopping me.

Driving on to Main Street, stopping at the light
Heading for the coffee shop the other side of night,
Singing with the radio, changing stations now
Got the dog and pony show, candidates take a bow.

(refrain) Mitigating factors, oozing out the wazoo,
Sell ‘em or hold ‘em, it’s all a rescue.
I’ve got the low down, trillion dollar
Ben and Henry blues.

Warm bakery bread and yeasty brown rolls
Congress still propping up the C-E-Os
Espresso coffee chai and tea
The government ya know--that’s just you and me.

NINJA loans for aliens, flipping for the rich,
From coastal homes, to buildings in the sticks,
McBama to Fannie to Goldman Sachs
They’re pointing fingers and covering tracks.

(refrain) Mitigating factors, oozing out the wazoo,
Sell ‘em or hold ‘em, it’s all a rescue.
I’ve got the low down, trillion dollar
Ben and Henry blues.

New York's ridiculous quarantine regulation is reinstated

While you weren't watching . . .

New York has reinstated one of the biggest power grabs I can remember. It was struck down last year, and has now been reinstated on a technicality, like "standing." The way it's worded, "highly contagious communicable disease" can mean the state could take over a citizen's health care and quarantine her because of a cold or the flu, both of which fit all the definitions in this regulation. It's a HUGE attack on civil liberties. And what NY does [like California], other states will follow. Hochul has an even bigger power lust that Cuomo. It was struck down in July 2022 as unenforceable. Now it's been unstruck down, if that's a word.

"Rule 2.13 was first enacted on Feb. 22, 2022 and has been extended by successive 90-day periods through July 20, 2022. Rule 2.13 states in pertinent part: “whenever appropriate to control the spread of a highly contagious communicable disease," the state health commissioner may issue and/or direct local health officials "to issue isolation and/or quarantine orders, consistent with due process of law, to all such persons as the State Commissioner of Health shall determine appropriate.” The rule allows the state health department to coordinate with local health authorities to mandate isolation and quarantine for individuals exposed to communicable diseases, even in locations outside of their own homes." The word "appropriate" is another squishy term for the power hungry to chew on.

A gruesome anniversary

The Taliban took control in Afghanistan two years ago due to Biden's disgraceful, evil surrender and abandonment of our allies and troops. No one has resigned; no one's gone to jail.  Bush freed the women, and Biden put them back in bondage.  And yet Democrats remain loyally blind and deaf ignoring his parting gift to the Taliban of more than $7 billion worth of weapons and equipment. This old man is no different than the young man in 1975 who ran out on our South Vietnamese allies, saying then U.S. had "no obligation, moral or otherwise, to evacuate foreign nationals." But he finds it necessary to accept millions of foreign nationals from over 160 countries at our border.

Biden with the aid of billionaires, crooked elected officials and appointed judges is trying to destroy our system of elections by putting his opponent in jail for questioning the flawed election of 2020. Donald Trump received 12 million more votes for his second term, something that doesn't happen, and swing states and counties going Dem that had always been Republican. Obama received 6 million fewer in his 2nd term. We're to believe Biden is more popular than Obama? Something doesn't smell right.
Democrats so manipulated the voting system by using Covid mandates, something they'd hoped to do for many years. A DA in Georgia is claiming a conspiracy because of a Trump tweet or asking for a phone number. Why do Democrats believe they can't get elected unless they become fascists and terrorists?

Using the KKK terrorist tactics of the 19th century (also from the Democrat party), Biden's handlers are even charging anyone associated with Trump in order to insure he can't possibly have good lawyers and loyal supporters.

Democrats target Trump again

While I'm sort of enjoying not listening to the House (Democrat controlled) Daily Drool over investigations of Trump to beef up their campaign funds and pay the investors of the MSM, they are working on the next one. It was all Trump's fault.

Apparently, they haven't looked at CDC national death statistics for all causes, especially flu and pneumonia taking out the elderly, or the number from coronavirus (not published, but it won't make the top 10 unless it's changed to "with" and not "of"). Why not take advantage of a crisis to 1) kill the Trump 2020 campaign and 2) destroy small businesses that employ 99% of us by extending the shut down. They've still got their mega-corporate cronies like Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos who fund their favorite projects. The original shut down was to save the hospitals from being overwhelmed. That didn't happen, but Democrats want to continue with what didn't work.

Number of deaths for leading causes of death (2018) and since many of these conditions are chronic and treatable, these numbers could soar from lack of treatment during the shut down of Spring 2020.

Heart disease: 647,457
Cancer: 599,108
Accidents (unintentional injuries): 169,936
Chronic lower respiratory diseases: 160,201
Stroke (cerebrovascular diseases): 146,383
Alzheimer’s disease: 121,404
Diabetes: 83,564
Influenza and Pneumonia: 55,672
Nephritis, nephrotic syndrome and nephrosis: 50,633
Intentional self-harm (suicide): 47,173

But they want US to forget that most of the Covid19 infections came from the European air travelers who were infected by Europe's traffic from China. European leaders didn't want to be "racist" (or lose a lot of investments) by closing down air travel. But Trump acted swiftly. He closed air travel before the first death in a nursing home in Washington. So we can thank Mayor De Blasio and Governor Cuomo for seeding the rest of the country, because NYC was still "open" in March. "Y'all come and take home a souvenir! Ride our filthy subway!"

Since they are Congressional Democrats, they only know how to run impeachment scams. That's all we've seen of their work since January 2017. And there are plenty of Republicans who will be invited to say insulting things in opinion columns, none of which will have anything to do with the baseless charges. They just don't like him, and fear losing their own base, whether that's in Congress, academe, their business, or their church.

Undocumented infants

Pleas for blacks to abandon the Democrats because of abortion

"Rochester [New York], we are better than this. We can provide a message of Life, acceptance, marriage, hope, healing, adoption, and more. There was a time, before Margaret Sanger and the Negro project, that the black community decried abortion. After coming through slavery and the attempt to kill us off, there was no way we would think of killing ourselves off by killing our babies. Two parent homes and education excellence was the norm. If we can just stop, repent, accept being duped, set aside political differences and focus on what truly matters – cultivating a culture of life and acceptance – we can kick off the shackles of victimhood and emerge as victorious as the slaves who walked off the plantations as freed men.
Everyone one of us, men and women alike, need to rise up, heal from our mistakes, and be silent no more. Those of us with chocolate skin have a Great opportunity – we have been handed a voice because the baby killers were unsuccessful at silencing us in the womb. No other people has had this opportunity." Ayesha Kreutz, founder of The Frederick Douglass Foundation of NY

Is it cold enough for you in the Midwest?

A large hole in the sun's atmosphere is facing Earth and spewing a stream of solar wind in our direction. Polar geomagnetic storms are likely when the gaseous material arrives on Jan. 31st or Feb 1st. The Tax U More party [aka Democrats] will tell you that's just anthropogenic "climate change." They think humans are so advanced their consumerism and technology cause holes in the sun's atmosphere, but they are not smart enough to be considered human by the NY legislature.

What Obama promised us

There was a time before Obama became president, that he was the ONLY politician in the nation radical enough to vote for something like what New York has just passed. Well, he did promise to fundamentally transform the country, and unfortunately, he did.

But at least when Obama cast his vote against babies, the people of Illinois did not cheer and celebrate (he was a state senator then).

Now that New York has codified the killing of full term babies, they will begin (or continue) the efforts on the other end of life—euthanasia of the elderly or disabled.   Don’t wait.  Print off the POLST form and read it carefully.  You do NOT want to sign this form. But you definitely want to read it. http://www.cathmed.org/resources/polst/

Dr. Gosnell was our biggest mass murderer until the NY legislature and Gov. Cuomo, and now will the doctor at Mt. Carmel hospital in Columbus who has killed 34 patients (more to come) with fentanyl be considered just ahead of his time in euthanasia of the elderly and disabled?

Cuomo and Pelosi

Abortion and infanticide were common in the pagan cultures where the early Christians lived and worked. Still is, and Christians still need to reject the siren call of the culture.

I'm not a Catholic, but neither are Andrew Cuomo and Nancy Pelosi for their support of killing the unborn, a violation of church teaching since the 1st century. ("Thou shalt do no murder; thou shalt not commit adultery; thou shalt not commit sodomy; thou shalt not commit fornication; thou shalt not steal; thou shalt not use magic; thou shalt not use philtres; thou shalt not procure abortion, nor commit infanticide; thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's goods." The Didache, a document of the church older than the Bible)

This latest crime in NY is beyond belief. Legalize the killing of a baby right up to birth (and make sure she's DOA for that last push with a shot or sucking out her brain). What can they possibly be confessing at the Sacrament of Penance and Reconciliation that can get them absolved of this sin against humanity and a ticket out of purgatory? They have to find a really liberal priest, is my guess.

New York’s new law was cheered by ghouls

In the last 25 years I've heard the liberals/leftists/Marxists/Democrats redefine a lot of words, but cracking the skull of a baby coming through the birth canal and sucking out her brains so she's DOA then calling it "Reproductive Health" is really Orwellian. And they cheered! Dr. Gosnell will no longer hold the record for killing the most babies.

It “expands abortion for virtually any reason through the third trimester” even allowing abortion on viable babies for financial reasons. Insurance carriers will now be required cover abortion and non-physicians may commit abortions. The law even rescinds protections for babies born alive during an abortion, and will not treat preborn victims of violence as homicide victims."

And it's coming to your state, too.  This is how fearful Democrats are that their flimsy flimflam Roe v. Wade will be over turned, so they are preemptively creating new laws to make it worse.

Never mind, it wasn’t a baby. Stop grieving.

OK, parents, time to stop grieving for that lost child from 1964 or 1980 or last week. It wasn't a baby, you didn't love her, and that red hair and sweet little toes were just in your imagination. She wasn't human and she wasn't your long awaited daughter. New Yorkers believes that. Wait a few years and they'll say the same thing about your toddler.

https://www.lifenews.com/2019/01/16/new-york-bill-allowing-abortions-up-to-birth-says-a-person-is-only-a-human-being-who-has-been-born/?

The “Reproductive Health Act” redefines a “person” as “a human being who has been born and is alive,” according to Breitbart. The state bill also describes abortion as a “fundamental right.”

This language will allow unborn babies to be aborted for basically any reason up to birth in New York. It looks like it will pass in the new Democrat-controlled state legislature this winter. Gov. Andrew Cuomo has threatened to hold up the budget until it does.

The legislation goes beyond Roe v. Wade, allowing abortions even when the Supreme Court has said states may regulate them, according to the pro-life leaders. Late-term abortions, which currently are illegal in New York, would be allowed, and non doctors would be allowed to perform them.

When a progressive says "FREE"

In commenting on "free NY college" Michael Smith does some translating for us (on Facebook):

"Anytime a progressive announces a "free" anything, you can bet:
1. It will come with many, many strings attached...
2. It will only be "free" for a very small and select group
3. That very small and select group will be Democrat voters
4. The true cost of the "free" stuff will never be disclosed
5. The cost of the "free" program will be borne by taxpayers
6. Most of the taxpayers who pay for the "free" program will not be eligible for it
7. The media will never investigate it and will always tout its "freeness" in every report
8. The "free" program will be a failure but it will live on as money continues to be pumped into it
9. The "free" program will not accomplish any metric or milestone projected for it
10. The politicians and their media enablers will call it a success and it will be touted as a resume enhancer to support the politician's future political aspirations
And I would add #11. The progressive will also find a way to say that Jesus said it first, especially if it's around Easter.

Abortion clinics rarely inspected

Twenty five abortion clinics in New York were inspected a total of 45 times in 12 years.  Democrats’ War on Women.  Tanning salons are inspected more frequently—twice a year. Yet 75,000 abortions were performed in New York city alone. Remember the old saw, “safe and legal?”

Notice the inviting wording in the Internet ads for abortion—early, soft touch, dignified, same day appointment, gentle aspiration, private.  You’d never know about the horrors, violence and death.

Adults behaving badly (Democrats)

Gov. Cuomo was using code words for conservative Christians in telling half the population to get out of New York. These days, "anti-gay" means people who believe in traditional marriage--which would make Obama anti-gay the first 4 years of his reign. Pro-gun means anyone who can read the Constitution's Bill of Rights. Right to life-ers means the Catholic church and evangelical Christians. Since when does a Governor get to decide who resides in his state? Those Democrats are certainly a big hate group. Eric Metaxas says, "Such contempt from a "public servant" is UTTERLY inexcusable. Gov. Cuomo should apologize & resign. Period."

… You’re seeing that play out in New York. … The Republican Party candidates are running against the SAFE* Act — it was voted for by moderate Republicans who run the Senate! Their problem is not me and the Democrats; their problem is themselves. Who are they? Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life, pro-assault-weapon, anti-gay? Is that who they are? Because if that’s who they are and they’re the extreme conservatives, they have no place in the state of New York, because that’s not who New Yorkers are.

Children are learning bad and harsh lessons from the Democrats in power, like the President who flipped on marriage to make his candidacy look better, who demonizes the rich he cavorts with who pay for his campaigns, this NY governor who demeans the Bill of Rights both first and second amendments, lying Wendy Davis in Texas claiming she was a teen single mom when she wasn't, and the lying Indian Princess Elizabeth Warren from Massachusetts.

*The New York Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement Act of 2013 commonly known as the NY SAFE Act is a gun control law in the state of New York. The law was passed by the New York State Legislature on January 15, 2013, and was signed into law by Governor of New York Andrew Cuomo on the same day.

Oops. Obama supporters losing insurance

“Many in New York’s professional and cultural elite have long supported President Obama’s health care plan. But now, to their surprise, thousands of writers, opera singers, music teachers, photographers, doctors, lawyers and others are learning that their health insurance plans are being canceled and they may have to pay more to get comparable coverage, if they can find it.” New York Times  In the past (before Obama) they were able to purchase health insurance with group rates through their associations—now they are thrown on to the pricey individual market.

“. . . under the Affordable Care Act, they will be treated as individuals, responsible for their own insurance policies. For many of them, that is likely to mean they will no longer have access to a wide network of doctors and a range of plans tailored to their needs. And many of them are finding that if they want to keep their premiums from rising, they will have to accept higher deductible and co-pay costs or inferior coverage.“

But of course, it’s all the Obstructionist Republicans who are to blame, just like the untrained, unvetted navigators is just a plot to defeat this.

Washington Post has listed the president’s “If you like your health care plan.. .” as one of the big whoppers of 2013.

If you won't give it, we'll take it--the Occupists

This is what "social justice" theology gets you--rude, ungrateful pagans who don't want what Jesus has to offer, Forgiveness of sins.
The displaced occupiers had asked the church [Trinity Wall Street], one of the city’s largest landholders, to hand over a gravel lot, near Canal Street and Avenue of the Americas, for use as an alternate campsite and organizing hub. The church declined, calling the proposed encampment “wrong, unsafe, unhealthy and potentially injurious.”

And now the Occupy movement, after weeks of targeting big banks and large corporations, has chosen Trinity, one of the nation’s most prominent Episcopal parishes, as its latest antagonist.

“We need more; you have more,” one protester, Amin Husain, 36, told a Trinity official on Thursday, during an impromptu sidewalk exchange between clergy members and demonstrators. “We are coming to you for sanctuary.”

Where's my bailout?

BEN BOYCHUK: "If the Occupy Wall Street protests were merely a gathering of liberals angry at the pathetic state of the economy and the incestuous relationship between Big Government and Big Business, most Americans likely would be on their side.

But something else is happening here.

We don't have much real data about who these protesters are or what exactly they believe. But we have a few hints. The protesters' online manifestos read like a Marxist child's letter to Santa Claus, demanding everything from college loan debt forgiveness to a living wage "regardless of employment."

New York Magazine took a snapshot poll of 100 protesters camping at Zuccotti Park in Lower Manhattan. About 34 percent of the "young, smart, educated young people" the magazine surveyed are "convinced the U.S. government is no better than, say, Al Qaeda."

So it's fair to say a sizable minority of the people camped out in New York and dozens of other cities around the country are on the fringe of mainstream American politics.

And yet Occupy Wall Street has touched a nerve for the right reasons.

"If you're a bank or an insurance firm, and you create a product that your investors and your regulators can't understand in a crisis, you aren't punished...Instead, you get rewarded with bailout money," my City Journal colleague Nicole Gelinas observed recently. "It's hard to argue with the Zuccotti protesters' manifesto on this point: 'They have taken bailouts from taxpayers with impunity."

The difference between the Tea Party marches of 2009 and the Occupy Wall Street demonstrations of 2011 is the difference between "No more bailouts!" and "Where's my bailout?" For the Tea Party, Big Government -- too many regulations, too much federal meddling in Americans' lives -- is the problem. For Occupy Wall Street, bigger government-more taxes, more regulation, more subsidies -- is the solution. The choice is yours."

Gay rights in New York

If it's homophobic to disagree with recognizing gay marriage, unacceptable since the beginning of history in all cultures and religions, is it fear of numbers or fear of children to be limiting it to two men, or two women, or two people who are not minors? Polyandry. Polygamy. Man-boy lovers. How about child Muslim brides or boy-grooms? Is it anti-Muslim to say no to that in the USA? Step aside gay rights folks--there's a long line behind you, and it ain't pretty. They are on the internet and social networks and building up steam and "rights" hysteria based on your victories.

Did You Know--New York (the state)

For every American who comes to New York, roughly two depart for other states. Why? Terrible business climate, cost of living, high property taxes. Link.
