A letter from Bird about corruption
To: Editorial Page Editor
Riverland News
Hillary Clinton erased thousands of potentially damaging emails and took a hammer to cell phones to render them useless, but nothing happens. Barak Obama has boxes of classified material from when he was president, but nothing happens. Mike Pence has boxes stored from his time as vice-president, but nothing happens. We all saw Joe Biden on that stage in a foreign country saying that if the prosecutor investigating his son isn’t fired the country would not receive U.S. tax dollars, but nothing happens. Joe Biden has hundreds, maybe thousands of boxes from when he was a senator and also vice-president, some stored in his garage, but nothing happens. I guess that’s OK, because Joe’s vintage Corvette is protecting them. But when Donald Trump has boxes stored at his estate in a locked room, that has an extra lock installed as requested and has a secret service detail in residence, this demands a federal indictment. Ask yourself why this is happening. One reason of course is that Trump is again running for president and the left is petrified that if elected, he will finish the job of draining the swamp and put them all out of work or better yet in jail where most of them belong, But I believe it is because the House is now investigating Biden on potential corruption charges for accepting millions in bribes when he was vice-president that could result is his impeachment, a legitimate impeachment. That’s why this is happening.

Democrats and the FBI--outrageous, heartless, scoundrels and evil
The three FBI whistleblowers are FBI Special Agent Garret O’Boyle, former FBI Special Agent Steve Friend, and FBI Staff Operations Specialist Marcus Allen. I watched this hearing today in horror when I saw what the FBI did to try to ruin men with an impeccable record plus a wonderful record of protecting us when they were in the military. FBI tried to bankrupt and demoralize them, and doesn't allow them to work elsewhere, but won't let them work for the FBI. And the Democrats on the committee were outrageous, heartless, scoundrels and evil. It may take me days to get over this following so close to the Durham Report which shows how corrupt the FBI is.

California: the Failed State
The First, a conservative news channel, was showing a special report on California, referred to as California, the cradle of crazy. Not sure when it originally debuted—Saturday morning is usually not that time slot. Here are some take away. It’s on YouTube: https://youtu.be/jdtxAXjXvKE
California used to be a Red State (Republican, conservatives). What happened, how did it become a one party state with Democrat super majorities?
The host of this special asked Chuck DeVore of Texas, who use to live in California. He attributed it to the loss of the aerospace industry loss after the end of the Cold War. Also after the 80s amnesty for illegals, there was a huge influx of illegals, who could be bought by the Democrats. Big Tech rather than agriculture is now dominate, and rather than being libertarian in outlook it is actually socialist. Hispanic immigration is not monolithic—middle class with education and capital goes to Texas and poor, low skilled to California. (Chuck Devore, John Philips,) Johnnydontlike.com
The news moves east to west, but the culture moves west to east. California’s culture is being exported to other states. There is an impulse to regulate everything—home ownership is giving way to renters. There are fewer stakeholders and taxes don’t matter. Middle class renters have a different perspective than home owners.
Katy Grimes, author of California’s War against Donald Trump" was interviewed on corruption in the the state house and executive branch. Wow. That was depressing—especially a run down on Kamala Harris, who ignored the San Bernadino terrorist crimes yet went after the Planned Parenthood scandal. Also the guy running for Secretary of State, big anti-2nd amendment guy who was running guns for Islamic terrorists and Chinese.

The Biden family crime syndicate
This is such a nightmare. I don’t like Biden don’t want him as a President, but I feel such pain for those who have had their party taken over by radicals, then to get this kind of a candidate. And what a horror they’ll have if he makes it to the White House. I doubt that this is unusual, and therefore Trump who is not part of the club is such an anathema.
When Trump said “drain the swamp” I doubt even he knew the level of corruption he would find once he was on the inside. As a businessman and entertainer, he was well aware of the smarmy deals and palm greasing that goes on to keep the economy moving. The impeachment was begun on the flimsiest of stories—pushed by the Clinton campaign in 2008, but apparently started by the McCain group and then dropped. This is so huge it makes the “golden showers” story the depth of a spider web and Biden the size of Grand Central Station with millions walking through. (Shows my age—and my readers (Hi Gene!) that I can use an analogy long gone and we’d all know what I was saying).
I doubt that this will ever be investigated—the media won’t and Congress can’t and I’m not even sure the country could take it. It would look like revenge, plus the Bidens have almost a half century of history in the government. Even in personal things—his wife was a married campaign worker when they began dating (according to her first husband). You can’t do this kind of foreign corruption alone. Hundreds know, aided, planned, covered and will believe their own lies. Those who helped are our own corporate giants. Just as big a grifter and graft as the Bidens. China is massive both in economy and peoples. Militarily it could stomp us to death. It’s an evil empire, and the U.S. has gone along with it for trade—money. One of the evils of capitalism. Since Nixon surprised us in the 70s and opened up the deals. Men like Howard Zinn have been destroying our history and culture for 3 decades, spitting out graduates who hate the United States, but this is worse. You just feel dirty even reading about it. This goes to our core. Who and what is the United States. Hand washing and social distancing isn’t going to cut it.

Donna Brazile's apology for leaking debate questions
“My conscience — as an activist, a strategist — is very clear,” the interim chair of the Democratic National Committee said Monday during a satellite radio interview with liberal activist and SiriusXM host Joe Madison. She added that “if I had to do it all over again, I would know a hell of a lot more about cybersecurity.” (Washington Post, Nov. 7)

32,000 “lost” e-mails found
http://www.philly.com/philly/news/nation_world/20150227_Investigators__32_000_IRS_e-mails_found.html
Of course, the election she was trying to swing for Obama is over.
WASHINGTON - Investigators said Thursday that they have recovered 32,000 e-mails related to a former IRS official at the heart of the agency's tea party scandal. But they don't know how many of them are new.
The e-mails were to and from Lois Lerner, who used to head the IRS division that processes applications for tax-exempt status. In June, the IRS told Congress it had lost an unknown number of Lerner's e-mails when her computer hard drive crashed in 2011.
At the time, IRS officials said the e-mails could not be recovered. But at a congressional hearing Thursday evening, Timothy Camus, IRS deputy inspector general, said investigators recovered thousands of e-mails from old computer tapes used to back up the agency's system.
I wonder is anyone will be prosecuted? Probably not. They are Democrats. They get to lie with impunity.
Not surprisingly, in order to stonewall the congressional investigation into the targeting of conservative groups, IRS officials never asked IT professionals to look into gathering back-up tapes or recovering emails requested by Congress.
Despite IRS Commissioner John Koskinen repeatedly saying under oath in previous hearings that Lerner's emails could not be recovered, Camus and investigators have been successful in recovering nearly 33,000 emails relevant to the IRS investigation.
http://www.politico.com/story/2014/11/lois-lerner-irs-emails-113124.html
It was actually reported in November. But I’m guessing it was known before the election, and news was put on the back burner by media.
The GOP-controlled House oversight and ways and means committees have sought the e-mails as part of their investigations into the IRS targeting scandal, which involved screening nonprofit advocacy groups for deeper review based on their names and policy positions. Most of the affected groups were conservative, although a small number of them were left-leaning.
Republicans have alleged that the Obama administration used the IRS and other enforcement agencies to silence conservative critics during the 2010 and 2012 election cycles, when the targeting occurred.

A fortune to elect Obama--Andy Stern
But what has been great for SEIU’s membership rolls has not been good for the SEIU’s bottom line. Growing union membership through politics is expensive. The Wall Street Journal reports that as recently as 2002, total SEIU liabilities were about $8 million. But by 2008, the union owed more than $156 million, a 30% increase over the $120 million it owed in 2007. And make no mistake, lobbying government is where Stern believes the future of SEIU is. After President Obama’s election, SEIU fired 75 national field staff and organizers so that the SEIU could “reallocate resources … to lobbying and communications in Washington.”
Morning Bell: Andy Stern’s America
Unions kill private sector jobs, have a history of corruption, and their pensions are underfunded. Where else to go but to the people for bailouts? Stern might be retiring, but he's not going away. Maybe a Czar? Supreme Court?
And of course, you've heard about racism in the rank and file, haven't you? Nasty stuff.

Party like it's 1875
George Will, Washington Post
"Some climate scientists compound their delusions of intellectual adequacy with messiah complexes. They seem to suppose themselves a small clerisy entrusted with the most urgent truth ever discovered. On it, and hence on them, the planet's fate depends. So some of them consider it virtuous to embroider facts, exaggerate certitudes, suppress inconvenient data, and manipulate the peer-review process to suppress scholarly dissent and, above all, to declare that the debate is over.
Consider the sociology of science, the push and pull of interests, incentives, appetites and passions. Governments' attempts to manipulate Earth's temperature now comprise one of the world's largest industries. Tens of billions of dollars are being dispensed, as by the U.S. Energy Department, which has suddenly become, in effect, a huge venture capital operation, speculating in green technologies. Political, commercial, academic and journalistic prestige and advancement can be contingent on not disrupting the (postulated) consensus that is propelling the gigantic and fabulously lucrative industry of combating global warming."

H.R. 3926
And there's a word of caution at the site: "This bill is very large, and loading it may cause your web browser to perform sluggishly, or even freeze. This is especially true for old and/or bad browsers. As an alternative you can download the PDF of the bill or read the text on THOMAS." And they were right. I clicked. It spun a bit, then sputtered.
If you can get to Washington by Thursday there is a protest being planned. They are ignoring our letters, phone calls and e-mail. Congress just doesn't get it. They should have cleaned up the mess in the government plans we already have wasting millions a year. But no. They wanted something even bigger and messier.
I don't know anyone who has had their health insurance cancelled for going beyond the limits of the policy, or for not disclosing a prior condition. I'm sure it happens. However, I do know several who have waited months or years through numerous appeals, and piles of documentation, waiting for some level of government to act on their case. We also know, that this bill will cut the benefits for seniors, and that will immediately put a burden on the "sandwich" generation who will then need to be doing more hands on care--along with that garden the President wants you to plant in the back yard, and the clothes line you'll need as we become energy starved. Oh, hope and change.

Michelle Malkin
I wonder why the Obama White - "It is hard to measure the impact Michelle Malkin has had on the world of Internet political investigative journalism. She is not only the founder of her own site, michellemalkin.com, as well as the invaluable hotair.com site, but she has also been the inspiration of countless of other political sites. It is difficult to imagine that there would be a Newsmax, or a Smart Girl Politics, or even an African-American Conservatives, without the trailblazing of Ms. Malkin. She is to political blogging what Rush Limbaugh is to talk radio, and what William F. Buckley is to punditry. We are all in her debt."
- I would have liked to have seen more attention paid to both Valerie Jarrett and George Soros, who, as Obama’s most trusted advisor, and primary source of funds, respectively, deserve much more scrutiny than received in this book. Perhaps this will be forthcoming it later editions. Michelle Malkin makes clear in the interview she granted to our site that she considers Culture of Corruption to be a work in progress.
Others might have liked to have seen more of a right-wing attack on Obama. But I don’t see this as a “Conservative” book per se. True, there are numerous examples of Ms. Malkin wearing her conservatism on her sleeve throughout the book; but at heart she is not a Conservative pundit, philosopher, nor a political partisan. She is not Mark Levin railing against the statists or Ann Coulter explaining how if Democrats had brains, they’d be Republicans.

Why Obama had to go to Copenhagen
Daley the Younger called in his markers and drafted President Obama to go to Copenhagen and lobby on Chicago's behalf. Wherever he was born, Obama will now always be the favored son of the Machine. Obama original allegiance is to that Machine. He owes it. And it's payback time.
When Obama came to work as a young lawyer at Allison Davis' law firm, one that represented slum landlords like "Tony Rezko," Obama learned the lesson of "go-along-to-get-along" that his new boss had once learned. Davis learned not to cross the Machine. Davis, Rezko and current senior presidential advisor Valerie Jarrett were Obama's finance campaign committee in his run for the Senate. They're all serious contributors to the Machine.
Jarrett was the president of a property management firm that managed large Chicago Housing Authority properties. In other words, a city-designated slum landlord. Before that, she was Michelle's boss in the Office of the Mayor of Chicago -- that would be Richard the Younger. After that, she became Michelle's patroness at the University of Chicago Hospitals.
So, of course, the President has to go to Copenhagen to push for Chicago as the site for the 2016 Olympics. He is the duly elected Patron in Chief assigned to bring home the bacon. The closer. He says he's can now leave Washington because the campaign for healthcare reform in under control. Right. And the Cubs are destined to take the Series this year in four straight."
