In the hours immediately following the Boulder, Colorado, shooting on March 22, 2021, at a supermarket a story had begun to develop that the shooter was a typical gun-loving white supremacist. It’s the narrative that’s all too common, and often perpetrated by Democrats in power. But the shooter Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa is a Muslim. The story went quiet very quickly and Facebook took down his account, which revealed a violent past, even back to high school. I just looked at the court record and as of January 23, he hasn't had a trial or sentence. He has an additional 43 felonies. Just a few days before that incident, Biden and other Democrats were suggesting that a hate crime against Asians in Atlanta could be blamed on President Trump’s “words.” It wasn’t a hate crime against Asians, it was a very young man Robert Aaron Long with a sex addiction and 3 of his victims were white. The truth never stops a Democrats’ urge to lie and there was no apology for the "misinformation." When the Colorado Club Q (LGBTQ club) shooter/killer, Anderson Lee Aldrich, claimed to be non-binary, the reporters just had to fumble, but he/she/they was still charged with a hate crime.
This past Sunday, January 22, there was a shooting at a nightclub killing 11 Asians. Both Senator Chuck Schumer and Rep. Adam Schiff began denouncing Asian hate crimes and bigotry, and the Twitter trolls took up the call. This before there was any arrest or investigation. Wisconsin state Rep. Francesca Hong, sharing her condolences for the victims, tweeted: "We are broken as a nation to have mass shootings and white supremacy reign terror." It's possible it was a personal grudge and the shooter, an elderly Asian man, Huu Can Tran, later committed suicide. That was followed within days by another Asian shooter, Chunli Zhao, in a workplace killing in Half Moon Bay, an agricultural community in California.
But also in California on January 16, 2023, six people including a ten-month-old baby were killed in a house in Goshen, California, by alleged cartel gang members. Now that one is hard to track down and got little attention by Reps. Schiff or Pelosi—wrong shooter and wrong victims> It seems they can't make political charges with it. I hope you watch this video--I didn't see that the Democrats jumped on this, perhaps because the Sheriff condemned the soft on crime California governor (a Democrat) and Biden's open border policy. Brutal killing of California family a 'clear message' from the cartel, sheriff warns: 'They were targeted' | Fox News "When you slaughter, when you shoot a 16-year-old mother in the head and a 10-month-old child in the head, that is a very clear message to everyone that this was a cartel-style shooting, execution, and these types of things with our unsecure open border, with our soft on crime approach here in California, this is the result of some of that failed policy," (Tulare County Sheriff Mike Boudreaux). CNN account of the massacre didn't include the sheriff's remarks.

Words are violence, unless spoken by Democrats and the Left
When a homeless, Canadian alien who crossed our porous southern border, hits Nancy Pelosi's husband in the head with a hammer even after Pelosi answered his door and let the police in, the Democrats blame Republicans, Trump supporters and even Donald Trump! Not a word from Democrats that San Francisco, a sanctuary city, has become a cesspool under her watch, or a peep about no care for the mentally ill, or the fact the home was being "guarded" by Capitol police which Mrs. Pelosi oversees.
Democrats denied that Rand Paul when attacked in his own yard was in danger, and laughed at his pain and suffering--especially Pelosi's daughter, who said "His neighbor was right." He could have died and he had lung surgery. Yet the attacker Rene Boucher got a misdemeanor charge and the Pelosi attacker is being charged with attempted kidnapping of a Congress person or something ridiculous plus other serious charges because the victim was a Pelosi and a Democrat.
When a mentally ill man Jared Loughner shot Arizona's senator Gabby Giffords 15 years ago Democrats, of course, blamed Sarah Palin because there was a "target" in one of her political ads and that was enough to make her the attacker. Washington Post even claimed she was at fault--and later had to walk back that story and say there was no connection "established." Nice work, WaPoop.
Now there's been a mass shooting at a gay nightclub, and I've heard (although I haven't researched it--could be Twitter gossip) some are again blaming Trump and people who voted for him for a "hate crime." Democrats, who make violent disgusting public statements like insurrection or more serious than the Civil War, seem to believe their words don't matter. Do they think no gay people voted for Trump? That there are no gay Republicans? Do they own gay voters?
About 18 years ago there was a nightclub in Columbus that was the scene of a shooting, where 4 men plus the perp were killed (police shot him). Heavy metal music, some sort of band feud. The shooter had a history of mental problems with a military discharge and had wanted to be in the band. As near as I can tell from the photos, all the men including the policeman were white. No one called it a "hate crime." Same crime, with some diversity and inclusion, and it would be a hate crime.
I'm guessing from watching many crime shows, the 4 white college kids murdered in Idaho were killed by a white male who knew them, or at least one of them. If he's ever voted for a Republican, the Democrats will probably say Trump did it.
When 5 black college football players at University of Virginia were shot (3 died) by a black former player last week, where were the Democrats calling out all black football players as violent and racist? The shooter had a weapons violation and got a slap on the wrist for a hit and run. Where were the Democrats demanding tougher sentences for crime, because the shooter should have been in jail? As it is, because all were black, Dems have nothing to say.
Democrats' words. If they can't get political gain from a crime (race, gender, homosexuality), they just don't care.

Reasons for the latest hate crime fake memes
There are at least 8 reasons I can come up with causing the media and the Biden Administration to be focusing on "hate crimes against Asians" this past week. It even got Biden out of the house for a trip. Take your pick. All are true--the links aren't hard to find. You can add your on opinion. Let's see if they can squeeze as much angst and money out of this as they did the garage pull rope.
1. The media and co-conspirators in academe need to continue the white supremacy/white racism charges to demean all whites, even though in rate and number, most "hate crimes" against Asian Americans the aggressors are black.
2. President Trump called the SARS Cov 2 virus by the country, China and city of origin Wuhan. Although the media did also last Spring, it has become verboten now. The National media and Big Tech have to continue hateful attacks against him to please their base and earn back the money they lost when he left office. They truly need to call him xenophobic and racist, although the variants of Covid19 are being called the UK variant, the Brazilian variant, the Australian variant, and the media aren't calling themselves xenophobic. In fact, if you look up UK Variant, CNN is really whipping that fear pony.
3. Women from S.E. Asia are victims of human trafficking and frequently work in massage parlors and hair and manicure establishments. The media are not focusing on THAT real hate crime. They'll need to do more investigation or be called soft on slavery. Someone in government would appreciate less attention on illegal prostitution and trafficking. Much of it comes in through the porous border. An investigation could get a reporter in big trouble. The world wide slave trade is bigger than the 18th century trans-Atlantic slave trade. The source is still Africa, and to a lesser degree Asia. If Leftists were to concentrate on that tragedy, how would they have enough time to reinvent microaggressions in the U.S. by whites?
4. Lumped together in the artificial category of the U.S. census, Asian Americans are the most successful, most educated, and wealthiest demographic. They really reflect American values of family, education and hard work. Asian Americans (40 different ethnicities) do better than any other group, all the way from Indians ($101,591) to Chinese ($69,586) to Pakistani ($62,848) to Bangladeshi ($44,512). (Nielsen report on Asian Americans, 2017)
5. Asian Americans vote heavily Democrat, support liberal causes, but are small in number and generally not activists. Separated out, there are many new arrivals, particularly from southeast Asia who do not come close to the top earners--Indian, Chinese, Japanese and Filipino. So this group is ripe for pickin' by the Democrats. How better to achieve this than making them victims?
6. Indian-Americans and Chinese-Americans are increasingly being discriminated against by major, elite (Democrat run) universities. One of the top high schools in Fairfax, VA has a 73% enrollment by Asians (particularly Chinese-Americans). This is causing unhappiness, and law suits. So it's time for the Democrats to use yet another crisis and misfortune to shore up their soft side.
7. Until very recently, the U.S. Census considered people of South Asia and the Middle East--Indians, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Egyptians, Persians, etc.--white. With the waving of the Civil Rights flag and the government money by becoming a pan-Asia group they are now POC, People of Color. They became a "socially disadvantaged minority group," eligible for all sorts of government goodies, despite the facts and data like marriage rates, college enrollment, longevity, achievement in business, health statistics made that a lie.
8. Because Asian Americans are the wealthiest group, they pay a larger percentage of their income in taxes than whites, blacks, and Hispanics, and thus are more disadvantaged by our wealth transfer system. Asian Americans are more likely to be paying for non-tax payers to receive money from the government. Maybe the Democrats need to take the focus off their tax increases by creating a crisis?

The C word V word
I noticed this sentence in an AP article lead:
People in China are usually called Chinese. And pandemics are usually called by a geographic area. You may recall that most of the MSM were calling SARS Cov 2 by the C word and the W word last spring. When we were visiting our son in the hospital in February there were no restrictions, not even in critical care, but there were boxes of masks if you chose to use them, clearly labeled for people who had recently visited China. Our President was already on top of that problem and was called xenophobic by Biden and Pelosi.
Now there's been a shooting at Atlanta massage parlors, and it's become all about race, instead of the real problem--the number of women, particularly from Southeast Asia who are trafficked in the U.S. for labor and sex. Atlanta has nearly 170 such establishments and most are owned and operated by members of the Southeast Asian community. Presidents Harris and Biden rushed there for photo ops so they could heap blame on Trump who acted quickly while they criticized his actions. The hate crime is one more against Trump.
The government and anti-slavery non-profits (usually Christian) have been investigating and trying to dismantle this crime mob for years, but I suppose now it will be considered racist and a hate crime to free women from slavery if they are Asian.
I wonder who and what are behind that? Politicians and Profit. Leftists and CRT.

Why they want to do away with the police
Before you decide if defunding police is a good idea, take a look at what the rioter, looters and thugs did to store owners, by-standers, reporters, police, truck drivers, homes, etc. And keep in mind that blacks are 6x more likely to be the victims of crime and need the police than whites. Hate speech and hate crimes
I for one have never liked the terms "hate speech" and "hate crime" (protected characteristics of race, religion, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, and disability). Due to our First Amendment, hate speech laws don't fair well, but colleges are big on "speech codes" and requiring SJW special retraining camps for incoming students and faculty. The more race relations improve, the narrower academe defines the crime so it can add to its administration.
Unless a white man is a Jew or gay or transitioning to female, who is ever charged with a hate crime for attacking him? For race, it only seems to be certain races. If there are two different African immigrant groups in a Columbus high school, who charges them with hate crimes when they attack each other? Would a Columbus juvenile court judge know that one group was slaves of the other 300 years ago? I received a notice of a crime from OSU a few days ago and it made a point of not mentioning the offender's race. Something the whole culture seems obsessed with, yet can't be used to identify a criminal!
What do these laws/codes add to bad language and violent crime except a racial component to discuss on the evening news? If black rappers can say the words, why can't a white radio host? If a black man robs or terrorizes a black family, why is that not a hate crime, if it is called a hate crime when a white or Hispanic criminal does it? Almost all crime victims (except Asians) are within same groups. Based on the 2018 Bureau of Justice survey, the offender was of the same race or ethnicity as the victim in 70% of violent incidents involving black victims, 62% of those involving white victims, 45% of those involving Hispanic victims, and 24% of those involving Asian victims. Lesbians against Lesbians. Gays against gays. No one commits a crime out of love (although some celebrity abortion advocates claim to).
Hate crime legislation took hold with the Civil Rights movement in the 60s, then a special law for violence against women but not men, then sex and peculiar identities were added. NY is considering adding more on top of what we already have just for anti-Semitism. Now all sorts of quasi legal threats are made if a religion disallows marriage of same sex because it violates the Bible and all of history, or if an employer doesn't recognize the feelings of men who believe they are women.
And yet Democrats, the Left and their print, internet and social media are allowed to call Conservatives and their president all manner of nasty names on the air ways, on TV and public debate--from racist to terrorist to Nazi. They can reinvent as "hate speech" the OK sign or even the words, Make America great. I do see hate, and it's from the Left manipulating our laws intended to protect people. But they shouldn't be the only ones protected by the First Amendment.

Where’s the special laws to protect white men?
Women today get the majority of college degrees in America. It doesn’t matter what kind — associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral — women beat men in all the categories. And that article was 5 years ago. It's even more unbalanced today. For over a decade in many cities and age groups, they far out-earn their male counterparts. Yet the media and academe continue to ignore the fact that the gender gap favors women, not men, and it's growing. I retired almost 20 years ago, and during searches for higher level jobs, if male and female candidates were pretty much equal, you could bet the job would go to the woman, because of her biology, not her expertise. Men are being sent to the back of the bus, or thrown under it. But in pathology--mental illness, drug use, alcoholism, accidents, etc. men vastly outnumber women. Women outlive men. Meanwhile men are ridiculed on TV and in movies where young boys are getting their cultural cues. Males are demanding to be called females--maybe they think the jobs and awards will open up?
Where are the special studies and think tanks to help men? Where are the special laws to protect men?
And where are the special programs and laws to help white people? And that includes Europeans, Egyptians, Indians (Asia) and other fair skinned populations who have immigrated to the "new world"--the United States (70% white) Canada (90% white), Mexico (60% white) Puerto Rico (76% white) and central and Latin America? In the U.S. if a person has a Spanish (European) surname for some reason he/she gets a special ethnic category that a German or English surname doesn't.
Whites are a minority in the world population, yet the Leftist/Marxist/Communists in the U.S. ignore all our laws about hate speech and hate crime where whites are targeted. The Leftists can call whites any nasty word they want and they don't lose their jobs! Chick fil A or Salvation Army or Hallmark movies or Catholic nuns and high school students, no matter, white people are maligned, blamed for sins of long dead ancestors or others' ancestors, or ridiculed, called racist and stupid, yet no one stops them. No one sends out the social justice warrior army to go after their attackers. In fact, they enlist glamorous white celebrities to snarl at and ridicule white people who have less income than they do. What's going on? Are pale people that much stronger, moral and braver than other groups that they should put up with this?

How safe are our schools?

Would you know that from memes and posts on social media? Also, crimes among juveniles, girls and boys, have decreased 65% since 1996, and arrests significantly from 2006-2015.
- Based on the 2017 National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS), students ages 12 to 18 experienced 827,000 total victimizations (i.e., theft and nonfatal violent victimization) at school and 503,800 total victimizations away from school.
- From 2000 to 2017, there were 153 casualties (67 killed and 86 wounded) in active shooter incidents at elementary and secondary schools and 143 casualties (70 killed and 73 wounded) in active shooter incidents at postsecondary institutions.

NO. HATE CRIMES ARE NOT INCREASING—down in the last decade
NO. Hate crimes are not on the increase, and shame on the MSM for repeating that lie. "Our data sets keep expanding. We have higher numbers of incidents, but we also have more and more police agencies participating in the voluntary reporting system. In 2016, there were 271 more incidents deemed hate crimes than in 2015, with 257 more law enforcement agencies reporting. As I pointed out when those data came out, "the number of hate crime classifications was higher in 2016 than in any of the four preceding years" but "lower than in 2011 and significantly down from 2006-08." There were also fewer victims in 2016: 7,615, down from 9,652 in 2006." You won't get that from CNN.

Let’s dump the hate crime category
I'd like to see the whole category of "hate crime" removed from the books. Assault, robbery, murder, mayhem and property crime ought to cover it. What if it's two guys fighting over a girl or a motor cycle and their ethnicities are different--someone's going to determine their mind set and decide it's race and not love?
The video of a white liberal attacking a white conservative on a college campus that's in the news today probably doesn't qualify because both are white males. With intersectionality and trans this and that, it's gotten ridiculous. And it appears to be OK to attack anyone wearing a MAGA hat, even a kid. What if a 1/2 black lesbian who wears a MAGA hat while campaigning for Trump attacks a privileged white Hispanic male who is transitioning so he can be on the girls' track team?
Even the stats about hate crimes being on the increase is questionable (aka fake) since many more law enforcement agencies are reporting who didn't in the past. Plus, of those reported, 50% of the offenders were white and over 25% were black, which are not the demographic make up of the country, and it's not reported when the MSM start giving us that preachy, holier than thou sermon they pass off as news these days.

Duck and cover
There's never been a better, safer or more opportune time in America to be gay, minority or female. But by always screaming racism or homophobia, the left can cover for their real Marxist crimes and their own phobias and fears.
Race of victims and offenders in interracial violent crimes certainly gives lie to the "hate crimes" narrative that media and celebrities promote. Between 2012 and 2015, blacks committed more than 85% of interracial violent victimizations between blacks and whites.

Just hate, division, anger, mistrust and victimhood. It's never been different for those who follow Marx. No workers or peasants to riot and demand change? No problem. Just bring on the snowflakes and millennials led by near octogenarians.

The Jussie Smollett publicity hate crime
I've been watching the Jussie Smollett stories on ABC and Fox and the back tracking by liberals, and also the "yes, but it's a racist society anyway" no matter what happened in Chicago, Trump dog whistles, etc. and therefore it's his fault. However, when whites are attacked by blacks it doesn't get much publicity, but the federal statistics show the RATE is much higher than whites attacking blacks. Is it even called racism or hate crimes when whites are attacked? Where ever this leads, I think it has worked as a publicity ploy, because I'd never heard of him before, and all the TV channels (I assume, although I've only seen 2) are now talking about him, and providing interviews.

Hate crime—not if it’s a black shooter?
“A 20-year-old man in Texas was arrested Saturday and charged in the death of 7-year-old Jazmine Barnes, who was shot and killed while riding in a car with her family in Houston. Another man is being held in connection with the shooting but has not yet been charged, a lawyer for the girl's family said.
Eric Black Jr., 20, was charged with capital murder and appeared in court early Sunday morning, wearing handcuffs and an orange jumpsuit. He was ordered held without bail. A prosecutor said Black admitted to driving the car when his passenger opened fire.” CBSNews.
No comment by CBS on the media frenzy when one of the children had said it was a white man, but Eric Black Jr., is black.
Jazmine’s life was brutally snuffed out. I have always been puzzled why when it is “labeled” a hate crime that somehow makes it more “hateful,” especially when a white killed by a black or a woman killed by a man, doesn’t get that sort of national media attention. It was even being linked to 2 other killings.
Now it is “just a tragic case of mistaken identity.” That’s the first thing I thought of when I heard of this happening, because that’s what it is in the TV crime shows.
“Although witness descriptions of a white man in his forties at the scene prompted hate crime speculation and led civil rights activist Shaun King to offer a substantial reward for the killer or killers, at least one of the suspects currently in custody is African-American.

The girl’s death sparked an outpouring of concern from around the nation. Retired professional basketball star Shaquille O’Neal and veteran Houston Police Officer Kenneth Miles recently said they would pay for the girl’s funeral. “

*I am so done with "hate speech." With AI we'll soon have "hate thoughts" and even if no word was uttered, you'll lose a job, or a position of honor or a Heisman Trophy. Right now we're down to two categories that can be insulted with impunity--Trump supporters and old ladies with white hair (I've had to leave the liberal social media platforms for the threats due to my age--"die old hag--make room on the planet for people worth it"). I hope the reporter who dug through the twitter trash of a 14 year old is happy.
I'm about to start sticking up for the ridiculous rap artists who say ugly things about light skin black women (the only black women allowed in their videos) just so they can have freedom of speech and act dumb when asked about it, denying they mean any disrespect.

If it were about Russia, they'd be investigating Clinton and the deep state that works within the "Just-Us" Department. Hate crime bias
I've always been against the concept of "hate crime," especially in murder cases since people don't usually kill people they love (domestic violence for instance is not called a "hate crime" between 2 gays or lesbians, but it's very high), but the belief that blacks can't be racists, or the extreme caution in labeling their deeds as "hate" is absurd. Fredrick Demond Scott may be mentally ill (as his mother says) but he also has a grudge against middle age white men. It's hate. It's race based.

Juan Thompson and fake news
After Juan Thompson, a black anti-Trump reporter and cyberstalker of his ex, became the object of the investigation of vandalism and attacks on Jewish agencies, those stories of Trump being anti-semitic just sort of faded away. I checked a website on fake victim/crime stories and I think his was about no. 293. Corrections don't seem to get as much publicity, but victim stories are becoming increasingly difficult for me to believe. Bullying e-mail. Hijab ridiculed. KKK scribbled on wall. Never mind though, there are still millions of gullible Americans falling for every fantasy.

Hate crime statistics for 2015
Most people don't follow crime statistics, and probably not hate crime statistics, but I do. The law that hate crimes had to be collected and analyzed is 26 years old, signed by GHW Bush with a Democrat Congress in 1990. It's been revised twice, and most recently in 2009 to add more categories for sexual orientation. Race/ethnicity and religion are the majority. Hate crimes are a small niche in crime given the attention it gets on TV--5,850 crimes of all types from assault to murder--person, business, institution, or society as a whole. And now there are 3 categories for sex: gender, gender identity and sexual orientation--that should goose the numbers a little. It must be tough to mark the box for a bi-sexual Muslim who assaults a transgender woman who is a lesbian Jew. Since we already have laws against all these crimes I've never understood a special hate motivation law. It's unclear to me if the San Bernardino murders of Dec. 2015 by Muslims were ever called a hate crime even though 14 people died and 22 were injured, 3 of them immigrants, and many Christians participating in a quasi-religious holiday party. Even though the FBI said the shooters were inspired by jihad and terrorist ideas, it wasn't a hate crime?
San Bernardino did however, inspire Donald Trump to say all immigration from Muslim countries should end until the U.S. had a better way to vet them. For this he was condemned--by Obama, Gov. Brown, the Pentagon, and most global leaders. When polled right before the election about 57.4% of American voters agreed with Trump on immigration, including 58.5% of Hispanic voters. (Zogby)
