1105 Medical malpractice?

Even the pro-abortion folks have to be turned off with the pain these babies suffered before their lives were snuffed out by their teen-age parents.

"A 19-year-old accused of causing his teenage girlfriend to miscarry two fetuses by stepping on her stomach was convicted Monday of two counts of murder."

His girlfriend, 17, who asked him to do it so she could abort her babies, was not charged. Apparently, her participation was just legal "choice," but his was murder. Story here.

"Erica Basoria, 17, acknowledged asking Flores to help end her pregnancy; she could not be prosecuted because of her legal right to abortion. The defence contended that Basoria punched herself while Flores was stepping on her, making it impossible to tell who caused the miscarriage."

At most, he was practicing medicine without a license, or having kinky sex outside of the red light district, or having sex with a minor, but murder? The guy in Utah who murdered his pregnant wife and buried her in a garbage dump wasn't sentenced for killing the baby--and he only got 6 years.

I hope you pro-abortion folks are pleased with the slime pit filled with human blood and flesh at the end of the slippery slope.

Come on, Norma. Are the prolife peeps pleased with newborns stuffed in garbage cans or abandoned wherever because the mom couldn't get an abortion? Are prolifers pleased to see smothered infants and beaten toddlers cuz their moms/dads weren't ready to be parents but didn't want to have an "immoral" abortion at 8 weeks?

Abortions are readily available and easy to get. But asking your boyfriend to stomp on your belly just shows how cheap 30 years of legal abortions have made pre-natal life. That's also the reason they end up in trash cans. And many "wanted" children end up abused. Abuse is an extention of devaluing life.

This is an argument we'll never settle, and we'll agree to disagree on whether the unborn are humans worthy of saving.

1. Abortions are not easy to get in many locales.

2. Women have been doing idiotic and/or dangerous things to end pregnancies long before 1973. Babies have been abandoned long before 1973, too.

3. I agree we won't agree. So let's work on better birth control.

Birth Control! That's how we ended up 1.3 million abortions a year. Try abstinence until marriage and NFP instead of artifical birth control. The pill does NOT prevent HPV infections, or AIDS. And condoms...they break and are irreguarly used. And to your point Paula, is it better to dismember a baby in the womb? A rubber cannot protect a heart or someone's dignity. Legal abortion says life is cheap and this couple took abortion to its natural conclusion. You're right Norma.
