New Blogger feature

Blogger.com has a new automatic save feature--at least I've only noticed it recently. However, something's not working right and I think it might be related to the SAVE NOW feature. If you ignore the automatic and save anyway, I think you might be turning off the comments feature. Four or five times recently I've discovered my comments feature has been turned off--not on the whole template, but just selected entries. I'm not doing anything to go into "options" and reset the comments feature, so I think something in the automatic saving feature is doing it. Also, the automatic SAVE NOW seems to be resetting the time. So if you've drafted something, let it sit a bit, do another entry, publish that one, won't the newly saved (but older) entry be out of order? Any thoughts?

WordPress has something similar but it also has a place to edit the date/time stamp. Does blogger have that? If so then you can make the post for any time or day you'd like and keep your thoughts in order. ;-)

Re: your comment...my 3yo dances only because the 10yo does. He wants to be like his brother. I definitely never had my 10yo do anything like this at 3. Of course, he wouldn't have even if I wanted him to. lol.

Hi Norma
I've not noticed the comments on/off issue and will go and check later today but the automatic save definitely sets the date and time - but leaving something as a draft always did as I found to my cost. The only way round that I've found (short of an "amend the date and time" feature) is to copy the text into a new template and then delete the draft. Clumsy and irritating!

Yep, it has some kinks in the system. I've done the same thing. I KNOW I didn't select the do not allow comments yet it turned them off.
