Al Gore was the same way in the 2000 election in Florida. Remember the hanging chads? That happened because a black district hadn't voted the straight Democrat ticket and Gore's people wanted a recount by eyeballing little bits of dangling paper to determine intent. Now Eric Holder, Obama's Attorney General, has decided black voters in Kinston NC couldn't possibly vote if the "Democrat" designation wasn't beside the name of the candidate. The story is at the
Washington Times, but never you mind, I'm guessing Obama's White House doesn't approve of this one as real news either.
The Justice Department's ruling, which affects races for City Council and mayor, went so far as to say partisan elections are needed so that black voters can elect their "candidates of choice" - identified by the department as those who are Democrats and almost exclusively black.
The department ruled that white voters in Kinston will vote for blacks only if they are Democrats and that therefore the city cannot get rid of party affiliations for local elections because that would violate black voters' right to elect the candidates they want.
Now which is more serious--made up lies about Rush Limbaugh being racist, or the highest offices in the land saying blacks can't vote without the Democrats telling them how?

It seems to me that all the negative vibes this blowhard (Rush Hudson Limbaugh A.KA. Jeff Christie) has been spewing over these many years has come back to blow back on his face (A classic “Blow Back”). He always tries to give off the airs that he can have anything he wants but as we all witness those with more money and more influence tossed him aside like sack of potatoes and the ultimate insult was that it was done in public (money don’t buy you everything butterball).
Now of course he blames everyone else (Michael J. Fox, Perez Hilton, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Sonia Sotomayor, Hillary Clinton, Olympia Snowe, ESPN, NFL, the media, basically people of color, the handicapped, women and gays) when of course all you have to do is listen to his show and plainly hear his daily prejudices filled sermons. So NFL, I salute you decision, job well done. And to the whaling cry baby perched on his self made pedestal, quit your whining it was your own fault. You are reaping what he has sowed, KARMA, "Palin and simple" like his followers. Don’t we all feel better?

Paul, you're repeating yourself--you dropped this bit of doo-doo before at this blog trying to malign Rush and bring people to your blog. This story is about the black voters of North Carolina--did you even notice?
Norma, Norma, Norma.....there you go again making assumptions. Sorry to blow your bubble I only comment its not my blog, just most people want to see a list of the blowhard comments. But thats OK, it tells me alot about people like you. I especially find it funny that you took it upon yourself to speak for African Americans in North Carolina, I guess you think they can not speak for themselves (you probably a miscatorized their situation). Paul--it's Holder who's speaking for the NC voters, not me. He says they can't know how to vote if D isn't beside the name.
