Government pressure on Facebook was responsible for censorship of Americans
"Friend,
Many liberals like to simply deny things that the rest of us can see with our own eyes, from the crisis on the border to Biden family corruption to government censorship of opposing views on the Internet. If it’s inconvenient for them, they simply claim it doesn’t really exist, or to use their popular term, it’s just a “rightwing conspiracy theory.” Well, explain this:
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan just released a trove of internal documents from Facebook and Instagram parent corporation Meta that show how the Biden Administration was aggressively leaning on Meta to censor posts during the pandemic. They used the rationale that those views were “misinformation” that had to be suppressed.
https://www.westernjournal.com/smoking-gun-jim-jordan-releases-facebook-files-revealing-damning-internal-emails/
That article includes details about a senior Biden advisor being “outraged” that a humorous meme about the COVID vaccine hadn’t been removed yet, with more pressure brought to bear until it was. Other posts the White House demanded be censored included a video of Tucker Carlson. Not surprisingly, these officials showed zero concern for Facebook’s arguments that the posts violated no rules and that removing them would be an infringement of Constitutionally-protected free speech.
Jordan said the Committee had to threaten to hold Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg in contempt to force him to hand over these documents, which ironically prove that government pressure was directly responsible for the censorship on Facebook. I wonder why Zuckerberg wouldn’t want that to be known? Either he has Stockholm Syndrome or they did a really good job of bullying him."

Missing Fox because Tucker is gone?
I enjoyed two day-time Fox shows--Outnumbered at noon, and The Five, at 5 p.m. I'll drop them both now that Tucker has been fired. I enjoy the Newsmax morning show, Wake up America. Good hosts, and interesting panels. Rob Finnerty. Veteran News Anchor Rob Finnerty Joins Newsmax TV | Newsmax.com
A friend on Facebook has some recommendations:
Get a Rumble account - you can watch on Roku or your PC. Great shows that tell the truth like In The Litterbox with Jewels and Catturd. Flyover Conservatives, American Media Periscope, The Pete Santilli Show, Uncover DC, Redacted News, Thrivetime Show, The Prather Point, Benny Johnson, The Mel K Show, and the list goes on and on. I watched Tucker from time to time but haven't watched Fox since they called AZ early in the 2020 election. If you watch on your PC, you can participate in the chat. Norma - you'd love putting in your 2 cents worth. I participate in the chat but my Rumble account name is not my real name but is something clever. No one in the chat goes by their real name. And I forgot Steve Bannon's WarRoom. Another place to watch shows is Frankspeech.com (Lindell TV). You'd love Brannon Howse. Can watch on Roku and PC.

Children in restaurants
Honest question #603:
"Is there anyone out there in FB-Land who would like to try and defend the practice of going to a nice, quiet restaurant and allowing a child (or oneself) to watch a movie on a tablet (or phone) with the volume turned up LOUD for all nearby to hear (if they want to or not)? So loud that that those sitting near you can no longer hear the house music?
In my sphere, this seems to be happening with increasing frequency. Is this becoming an epidemic, or… is it just me? Is this just the new normal? Just curious, please feel free to rebuke me at will… I am all ears, truly…"

Submit or get fired
They are not the majority; they may be a very small voice. But they are in ALL professions, all of which have codes and standards about truth, service and integrity. That they are everywhere should tell you something. They've been verbally abused, had promotions denied, and lost friends and colleagues; their editors have reassigned them to the back page or their location to Po-dunk; they can't get published or their research doesn't appear in peer reviewed journals; they are dishonorably discharged, or lost access to Twitter, FB, YouTube or Google; they've requested reassignment to different medical rounds and been denied. They may also be the ones who won't change pronouns, who resist the CRT workshops and roll their eyes at more global demands to believe a new green religion.
If your employer fires or muffles those in your profession who refuse, and keep only those who bend the knee and submit, then what have you got? People who won't take risks, who won't ask questions, who won't point out the Emperor has no clothes. A submissive nation. No one needs to fire a shot to conquer that nation. We're already in chains.
Let's take a careful look at this statement, which can't be proven true or false since it hasn't been around long enough to be tested. mRNA was developed in the 90s; this therapy in 2020. Whether you're a Christian like me and believe that God has created us with what we need to treat or stop diseases (mRNA isn't a vaccine which introduces a small amount of the bacteria or virus to assist your body in developing a defense you already have) or you're another religion or not religious at all and believe you've evolved over a billion years from sludge, you know "it doesn't look like other proteins your body makes" sounds like it doesn't belong there. Your civil liberties shouldn't be violated and the first amendment and all our laws dealing with health and treatments shouldn't be tossed out if you object to this treatment.
Just about everything we were told in Spring 2020 about transmission and protection of the mRNA treatment have been proven false but there are still rules and mandates and people continue to be punished. Facts we already knew in 2020--children were at almost no risk and young adults had low risk--have been tossed out the window with no apology or explanation.

News of the day
And speaking of keys and stealing, I've been locked out of my Facebook account. A friend asked if it was a hack to steal my information, but I suspect that because I've been a member for over 10 years, the old timers never gave away as much as the newer enrollees. Now it wants a cell number so it can check to see if it's really me signing in. Hmmm. Sounds like a way to harvest phone numbers and sell them. My friend Connie (I have her e-mail address) told me it has happened to her, but she is able to use her cell phone to log-in, so maybe I'll try that. Other friends (Justine, Bev, and Dena) say they've not had that message.
And speaking of hacks, don't ever try that one to silence the beep on your microwave. It really works, and now how to get it back! You never know how important they are until you lose them.
Mike Huckabee suggests the government's motives for taking Mike Lindell's cellphone and what's happening with inflation. Morning Edition - September 22 - Latest News - Mike Huckabee As a retiree on a fixed income we do worry about inflation. And as an American, I am concerned about how the Biden administration is punishing anyone who questioned the 2020 election--although not all the Democrats like Al Gore, Hillary Clinton, or Stacy Abrams who questioned elections they didn't win before 2020.

Facebook is following you
Meta injecting code into websites to track its users, research says | Meta | The Guardian
“Meta, the owner of Facebook and Instagram, has been rewriting websites its users visit, letting the company follow them across the web after they click links in its apps, according to new research from an ex-Google engineer. The two apps have been taking advantage of the fact that users who click on links are taken to webpages in an “in-app browser”, controlled by Facebook or Instagram, rather than sent to the user’s web browser of choice, such as Safari or Firefox. “The Instagram app injects their tracking code into every website shown, including when clicking on ads, enabling them [to] monitor all user interactions, like every button and link tapped, text selections, screenshots, as well as any form inputs, like passwords, addresses and credit card numbers,” says Felix Krause, a privacy researcher who founded an app development tool acquired by Google in 2017. In a statement, Meta said that injecting a tracking code obeyed users’ preferences on whether or not they allowed apps to follow them, and that it was only used to aggregate data before being applied for targeted advertising or measurement purposes for those users who opted out of such tracking…” It would be a good idea to read the whole article.Thursday, April 21, 2022

Soros funds Facebook fact-checkers
Soros' influence on the social media giant does not end with Facebook's global fact-checking board, though. He also funds or indirectly funds the third-party fact-checkers that have partnered with Facebook in specific countries, including Great Britain, the United States, and Spain. Increasingly, the fact-checkers he funds are also located in Central Europe, with Remix News identifying at least eight out of 11 countries in the region where the fact-checking organization is a Soros-funded group (a number of countries, such as Hungary, Serbia, and Romania, still have no official Facebook third-party fact-checker or no such information was available at time of publication)."
Definitely an incorrect term. He's not a fact-checker, he's a fact-butcher.

The gatekeepers of wisdom and morality
Mark Zuckerberg, Jeff Bezos, Jack Dorsey, Jeff Zucker, Bill Gates (none of whom are black, brown, female or trans) and other not-so-famous heads at Vox, Daily Beast, NYT, LATimes and WaPo were not elected. Consumer dollars had voted them to rise to the top in their corporations which our capitalist economy had afforded them. They'd been allowed many tax breaks to become fabulously wealthy at our expense with the support of the swamp's tax laws.
Their gratitude for being allowed to set up shop in a free country was to go from publishing nasty opinion pieces to shadow banning to outright blocking and deplatforming the President when their efforts to collude with Democrats to remove him from office didn't succeed. Gone are the days when they lauded "free speech." Now they are lusting for more power.
They released an army of "fact checkers" so we can't question the 2020 election after they screwed the country over about the 2016 for four years. We can't publish or distribute books about the climate change hoax, transgenderism, the threat of the CCP and conservative principles, but they can go on forever about hate crimes. They control the narrative about Covid and January 6, stifling all the rights Americans have come to expect and respect. They tell you which words you can use to describe a disease. They cover for the Biden Crime Family deals with Ukraine and China,
We are their prisoners, they our gatekeepers.

Purveyors of evil--Big Tech
"If we’re going to be objective about it, we’ve got to give the Mark Zuckerbergs, Jeff Bezoses and Jack Dorseys of the world their due — the apps they’ve created are some of the greatest technological marvels in history.
It’s too bad that the purveyors of the technologies Apple,
Facebook, Google, Twitter, and Amazon have on offer are such profoundly myopic,
evil bastards. And the events of the past week make it pretty clear that these
companies are literally out to get conservative America. By extension, they’re
really out to get America itself, because anyone tyrannical and dastardly
enough to wish to ruin people financially and to destroy their power to speak
over simple political or philosophical disagreements isn’t just a political
partisan. Anybody who would do what these people did to Parler for the sin of
providing a platform for conservatives to talk among each other after being
persecuted by other social platforms clearly doesn’t have respect for the
ideals that founded the country and bind it together still."

What is patriotism? Ask a Hungarian
I've been spending some hours away from American cable TV and watching Israeli i24 channel which has excellent international coverage, particularly of middle east and some Africa and Europe. Learned about the Moroccan delegation visiting Israel. Interesting to watch Covid coverage on the international scene. Every nation is having 2nd and 3rd waves, no one is blaming Trump like our TDS Democrats, and everyone is vaccinating. I think Israel will win that race for highest and fastest rate vaccinated. Israel's cases are soaring as are South Africa. Everyone complains about their young adults not taking precautions. It seems to be party time in South Africa. Not much difference between blacks and whites--both are being irresponsible according to the health official interviewed. I watched a 30 minute interview of the Hungarian foreign minister who seems to be a rising star in his early 40s; he's called "right wing." So I listened to see if that meant he was a Trump supporting white supremacist. No. It means he believes Hungary has a right to control its own borders; support for Christian values; strong economic investment environment; saving Hungary's western cultural heritage; standing up to the Leftists; being suspicious of Iran's motives; a positive relationship with Israel and being watchful of Turkey's motives and encroachment and loving his country. He wants mutual respect from Biden--fat chance, since Biden is soft on Iran and China.
Also, one of the Chinese "citizen-journalists" (I think that is another term for blogging or tweeting) who blew the whistle on the Chinese virus is getting 4 years in prison. Now, in the U.S. not since Obama have any journalists gone to jail, but there is a Facebook and YouTube jail for anyone who blows the whistle on the news media's monopoly on the virus narrative. And I love watching Israeli technology news. A new Israeli made mask might neutralize 99% SARS-COV2 virus within just 30 minutes. of exposure

Facebook can’t face the truth
Zuckerberg and his wife supported Biden/Harris big time, funneling mega-bucks for training poll workers and campaigners. And we all know how that campaign fraud went. However, it is technically free, and those of us who use it need to know the only product FB sells is us—our information. Personal information about buying habits, religion, politics, opinions, photos—it’s all consumed and regurgitation by Facebook to buy and sell us.
But Facebook is also pushing it’s own politics, and will blacklist our posts that they don’t like. I’m reposting some of my blogs at my Facebook site, and they all come up with a warning—even if it is a recipe or a holiday tradition. FB by technical snooping knows I’m not one of them. I’m just some deranged, low class, low caste college educated American who escaped the clutches of the Democrat party in 2000 for fresh air, liberation and truth. There are a lot of us out there—every ethnicity, age, sex, religion—black, brown, white, rich, poor, employed, retired, Protestant, Jew, Muslim, Catholic. The U.S. capitalist system with freedom of religion and the religion of meritocracy has allowed Zuckerberg to arise to the heights of success, but he landed on a dead branch of socialism and is trying to clip the wings of others. Ironically, it’s the capitalist way. Always kill off the competition.
I got a black mark for pointing out the racism and eugenics of the Leftists among us. I got a black mark for citing Newsmax, a conservative TV News source. I got a black mark for posting a an AA list on how to stay sober just for today. So I’m embedded in the the FB file dungeons as a right wing nut, no matter if I post recipes or voter fraud stories.
I have a lot of cookbooks and recipe files—some almost 100 years old, from my mom and mother-in-law to Inglenook to Betty Crocker to a collection from Ogle County Illinois homemakers. But there are more people who have come forward to testify about voter irregularities at the polls, from the cemeteries and from voting machines than I have recipes. All those patriots are willing to put their reputations (and lives) on the line, and they’ve been silenced by the very government and political parties they want to save.

The Georgia scandal
Even with the video showing the Georgia scandal of counting votes after sending the poll watchers home after a "water pipe leak" Facebook is calling my post and link about it "fake news." I guess they'll call the GA governor out on that one, too. These twits really irritate me, but Facebook is "free" and can set its own rules about fake. Fakebook. We get what we pay for, folks. An addiction, a vote manipulator, and a really poor source of news.

A nice story I saw on Facebook
Waiting in line to pay for groceries while maintaining a 6ft distance, this man cut in line.
He didn't appear to notice what he’d done. The person he skipped didn't say anything, just maintained the proper distance.
When it was time for the man to pay he reached in his back pocket and pulled out a small note pad.
He’d forgotten his wallet.
He looked a bit disappointed and embarrassed. The person he skipped stepped up and told the cashier they’d take care of his groceries. (Which only consisted of milk and cookies.)
He was more than grateful. He kindly thanked them and off the man went. Upon arrival to the register, the cashier asked: "He cut you off and you paid for his groceries.. Why??"
They calmly replied with a smile:
“I hope that if one day my Dad forgets his wallet, someone will step up and buy his milk and cookies.”
Kindness is a beautiful thing.

When did Twitter and Facebook become the Internet Police?
"Senate Republicans said Thursday they will subpoena Twitter chief executive Jack Dorsey over the decision to block a news report critical of Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
"This is election interference and we're 19 days out from an election," Senator Ted Cruz said, a day after the social network blocked links to the article by the New York Post alleging corruption by Biden in Ukraine." Yahoo News
Republicans are checking to make sure we're not in North Korea.
Could the Biden China e-mails and the broken laptop be a hoax? Well, it's 2020 and anything can happen. However, the blocking of the story by Facebook and Twitter, where it could be sorted out, certainly doesn't look good for the tech giants who are controlling our lives.
“Facebook says it will rely on its fact-checking partners to determine the story's legitimacy, but until then, it is taking steps to tamp down on its spread. Twitter has issued a statement claiming it took action against the article due to the company's "Hacked Materials Policy." Twitter is blocking the post from being shared on its platform.” Brian Boyd

Tucker interviews virologist from China
"As it happens, February 6th, that day the paper went online, was also the date of the first coronavirus death in this country. The American media had every reason to pay attention to what the Chinese scientists found. But they didn’t. For nearly two months, the paper was all but ignored by news outlets. On March 31st, this show broadcast its contents. By then, more than 3,700 Americans had died from the coronavirus. Tens of thousands were hospitalized. We imagined there would be a serious national effort to find out where the virus came from, and how the pandemic started. But we were wrong. There wasn’t. There was silence. Once again, the people in charge of our public health infrastructure simply ignored credible evidence that contradicted the Chinese government’s version of events."
Tucker talked to the virologist who fears for her life and fled China. It's not from nature, and the release was deliberate.
Which candidate for president is chummy with China? Biden. Facebook suppressed the video of the interview. Which candidate does Big Tech support? Biden. They've "fact checked" her and pulled her account, but they covered something completely unrelated from months ago.
Facebook and Big Tech believe in censorship.

David Meyers, guest blogger, on demonstrations and crimes
For 30 years, I worked in corrections—both adult and juvenile. I know that the challenges we faced are similar to those faced by police departments. It’s a tough and dangerous job. And the pay is seldom commensurate to the risk. As a result, it is not always possible to hire the caliber of staff you want and need.
I personally spent thousands of hours trying to weed out the bad employees. All of them were represented by unions. I am not saying that unions are a bad thing. As I learned in graduate school, “Any organization that has a union deserves it.” And by that measure, corrections certainly does. However, that means that due process has to be followed in disciplining a bad employee—even those who have committed felonies on the job.
Not only does management find this frustrating, but many good employees as well. As I wrote in my first book on Ohio’s prison system, “Some of the finest people I have known were working in some of the most thankless jobs imaginable.” I was glad we had them, but we always could have used more. A lot more.
It’s the same with police departments, too. In fact, I have never belonged to any large group of people that didn’t have some miscreants. But in most cases, they aren’t tasked with life and death decisions. They don’t have to deal with violence on a near daily basis. It takes a special type of person to do that. Unfortunately, not all people who are attracted to this type of work want to make things better.
Watching the demonstrations, the confrontations, and the wanton vandalism and looting play out on television, I am concerned that it will drive away exactly the type of people we need to be peace officers and attract those we don’t."
David Meyers is the author of many books that reflect his interest in music, Ohio history, crime, and black history.

Facebook fact checkers are actually censors
"I dig into the prevailing media narratives about coronavirus, including “fact checks,” that have themselves been proven false. You’ll be amazed at who Facebook is letting help censor information about China’s controversial Wuhan lab. (Hint: she’s a scientist who works at the lab…)"
There are a few investigative reporters left in the country. Sharyl Attkisson is one of them.
