I recognize the Stryker name.  It was on all the beds and gurneys that supported our son during his struggle with glioblastoma. It's medical devices. Billions.   At the fitness center while Phil was still alive I met a man who worked for Stryker--he was in the operating room when he had the surgery.  Stryker family (forbes.com)  Many of the rich founders of the trans movement are gay men.  Don't know why. They are heavily invested in the medical and pharmaceutical fields. So, yes, money, but there must be more.  Is it self-hatred?  They were also big Obama supporters. So the movement, which came to light with the bathroom battles, goes back to that. Pritzker is on his third wife--all women, even after he came out as a very fat, large woman.

More on bathrooms, toilets and sex

Now we'll be getting protests about bathrooms and transphobia. Fewer than 1% actually have gender confusion. If you go back and look at what was happening in 2012 when Obama still preached traditional marriage you see this was being cooked up by the unelected federal bureaucracy--don't remember if it was the Department of Education or HHS. Progressivism doesn't work without victims, so as the gay lifestyle became more accepted, they had to find a new cause. After transgenderism it will be man boy love (aka pedophilia).

The big government over reach into forcing small churches, clubs and schools to spend millions on bathrooms was not about disorders, or testicles that didn't develop right, or boys who grow breasts. We're talking about the executive branch grabbing authority he didn't have to coerce 99% of the population into accepting a disorder, dysfunction or fantasy as reality. If he can do it for this disordering of nature, why not others? Not sure why erasing the differences between men and women is so critical for socialists and progressives, but I suspect it has something to do with the book of Genesis and the foundation of Judeo-Christian culture.

Gender dysphoria

Why is our government, specifically the Department of Education, pushing the fantasy of transgenderism in children? Every cell in the human body marks us either male or female--it's not just the genitals, or a "feeling" or putting on lipstick and a padded bra. Sex is not assigned at birth as the LGBTQ activists try to brainwash us; we are that way from the beginning and we remain who we are until death, at which time we really do transition. 

The DoEd has been allowed to change the meaning of the word sex in Title IX (originally intended to protect women and girls in school activities) without any input from Congress. DoEd encourages children and their parents to pursue a harmful phony therapy that may involve puberty blockers, cross sex hormones, artificial penises and vaginas, future sterility and many health problems. The children need counseling, not chest binders, hormones and more sex saturated activism. 

Anorexics think they are fat; some boys think they are girls and vice versa. Some people think they need amputations of fingers or ears. Some people pretend to be crippled, or purposefully injure themselves. We don't require the community to encourage their fantasy/nightmare. Children most of the time outgrow these fantasies of being the opposite sex, but even if they didn't, fewer than 1% of the population have the problem. When I was six I pretended I was a horse, and I'm so glad no one took it too seriously even though I ran around on all fours, and made whinnying sounds.

 I'd like to see future president Trump put a complete halt to this child abuse and bullying of teachers and parents sanctioned by the government.

In one state, it's about bathrooms this election

In one state the election has come down to bathrooms and child abuse. North Carolina. Without any input from Congress (whom we elect) a group of unelected bureaucrats in Washington decided in 2012 transgenderism would be the next civil rights movement. There is no medical diagnosis for gender dysphoria--it's completely subjective--how a person feels. The surgery and hormone treatments are becoming a big busine$$. Doctors can administer hormone treatment based on what a child wants (or his parents). Surgery is supposed to not happen until age 18, but doctors also get around that. It's child abuse. 

Puberty blockers that are not safe for children are administered as young as 11 or 12. These affect development and fertility and no one knows the long term effects because this is the first generation to be used as lab rats in a social experiment. The puberty blockers affect their sexual development when paired with cross-hormones and may stunt their growth, bone density and brain development. There is the potential for osteoporosis, blood clots, cancer and a higher risk for heart disease and diabetes. Cross sex hormones have irreversible effects on fertility.

You see, sex is not a feeling, it's biology. You can outgrow feelings; you don't outgrow your biology. Most of these kids would grow up to be normal, and if not, let them decide after counseling if this is really what they want. Transgenderism is less than 1% of the population, and among children, most will outgrow it. For that fraction of a percent we need to traumatize normal children?

The Weiner/Abedin laptop is being used in a pedophile sexting investigation because she downloaded 650,000 e-mails to it for back up even knowing about her husband's bizarre behavior. If nothing else, it shows really bad judgment by a woman who was aiming for the White House as chief staffer. 

However, considering the direction our culture is going, I'm guessing pedophilia will just be a career enhancement in about 5 years and the 20-something crowd will think millennials and gen-xers of 2016 were so bigoted and pedphobic. There's been a man/boy/love organization for years working to abolish age of consent laws. Remember all this bathroom regulation for schools and your kids came out of the dark locker rooms of bureaucrats, not the elected Congress.

Update:  So far in the investigation they have not found duplicates among the 650,000 e-mails.  Isn't that perjury?

Meanwhile, in Philadelphia with the Democrats

The parents of the Fairfax County Virginia schools had been petitioning the school board to reconsider its new mixed locker and bath room edict, but with no success. Then. Guess what? Tim Kaine, former governor of Virginia and now a senator from that state, was selected as Hillary Clinton's running mate, and they needed to tap down any backlash for Obama's unpopular transgender policies, and definitely needed to win Kaine's home state. It was a miracle! The Board sent out a letter to parents, stating not that it had reconsidered its crazy policy unpopular with 99.9% of the students, but that it was postponing the implementation of the policy.

 Isn't politics grand? Segregated toilets and ID checks in Philadelphia for the DNC, and a Virginia school board postponing putting boys in the girls' locker room. In North Carolina that gets your tourism industry destroyed.

ISIS hasn't been mentioned in the DNC speeches although the bloody crimes continue in Europe. Today in Normandy an elderly Catholic priest was beheaded at the altar while saying mass by ISIS members. Amazing what can be done with knives. Another dead, another severely wounded. CNN reports it, "Doesn't know the motive?" One of the nuns escaped and went for help. In the U.S., we're killing air conditioners (mine is fried in the van), because according to John Kerry, that's the real danger, not ISIS.

Oh. And someone noticed almost no American flags flying over the DNC. I'm not watching--can anyone confirm?

Michael Brown's mother of the Ferguson riots is going to speak at the DNC. I can understand her grief. Her son is dead. If my son high on drugs had robbed a minority run store and then lunged into a police car to grab the officer's gun, I'd be grieving too. I just wouldn't go to the nation on TV and absolve him of guilt.

What's wrong with Adam Silver?

North Carolina is set to host the 2017 NBA All-Star game, but in a meeting with reporters today, commissioner Adam Silver said that the game will have to be moved if recently enacted anti-LGBT laws are not changed. 

• Transgenderism is far more dangerous than smoking or drinking sodas or using drugs, so why is the commissioner pushing a dangerous, high death rate life style?
• Forty-one percent of transgendered individuals attempt to take their own life, according to the Weekly Standard. That's more than 25 times the national average. 
• The average life expectancy of a transgendered individual is about 32 years of age (some sources say 35), according to the blog Transwoman Times.
• A survey found that 2.64 percent of trans people are infected with HIV — more than four times the national average rate, according to Live Science. 

I'll leave it to you to google the details. I did and it all checks out (most figures are higher), except for the far left sites which want to blame you and me for this and deny the statistics, or say the sample is just too small (the only time you'll see that from the left).

The same people who say we'd never know when a transwoman uses our restroom, also say they can't find jobs because of the gender issue and have to become street walkers and get AIDS. Yes, folks, it's not messing with biology and pumping their bodies full of hormones and chemicals, multiple surgeries, and mental co-mobidities, it's oppression by you and me.

Newsweek called it in 2012--the first gay president

The guidelines are vague and the President is stonewalling the Republicans, although he’s being very vocal about how he’s protecting yet another victim group, ignoring the 99% of us who know t...hat gender isn’t fluid or a feeling. It’s biology. And the leftists who are usually so adamant about scientific evidence (even when it contradicts them as in global climate changes that go back millions of years), are saying without a shred of evidence that feelings, desires, surgery or hormones can change one’s gender.

The same liberals who decided the right to privacy (which isn't in the Constitution and had to be cobbled together from other decisions) meant the right to kill an unborn child, now are determined to claim that child who makes it through to birth has no rights to the binary gender system which humans have followed since the beginning of time because it might guarantee her some privacy in the locker room.

By the end of his term, the president will be out of the closet, either as a gay man, or a transwoman. His eagerness to transform attitudes and values to make this acceptable goes beyond his desire to change the health system, ruin the military and destroy the fossil fuel sector. If you think that is insulting or mean, then you must be homophobic or transphobic.

President Obama's directive didn’t just apply to the bathrooms in schools or retail outlets like Target. It also entered the space of locker rooms, showers, dorms, overnight hotels for field trips, and other places you might not expect. This is not about "rights" for the under .03%---the plan is much more grandiose. The guidelines are very broad with generalizations, and will be a cottage industry for lawyers. I still haven't figured why the progressives who see a rapist in every college bar and apartment- are pushing this. I guess women's issues are as passe as the giant shoulder pads. But I DO KNOW that female athletes and your underage children are the next to be hurt (pedophiles are being renamed, "minor attracted people" and they want your sympathy and their rights to your kids). This has been in the works since 2012; BO's folks looking out for you.

If you own Target stock, time to rethink your portfolio.  If you vote Democrat, time to rethink what you're supporting, which includes forcing hospitals to perform mutilating surgery.  If you're a Christian, you need to reread the Bible if you are supporting this nonsense.

Why have toilets become such an issue when we'd never heard of the problem before?

This isn't about which toilet to use, it's about forcing the other 99% to conform to a radical agenda. I know transgendered people, and when appearing in public as their original self, they know what to do and where to go. When appearing as their new identity, they also have no problem. Someone wants us to think gender is fluid, after telling us for years our sexual preferences are fixed and we are born that way. They also are forcing a change in pronouns, and that has nothing to do with toilets. The big poke in the eye is forcing Christians, Jews and Muslims to violate the teachings of their religion, and everyone else to violate common sense. The first commandment and blessings and promise for Jews and Christians:

The gender/sex band wagon is just getting started. I was reading about same sex unions/marriage in Christian journals in the 1980s, then it made it to the church annual meetings, first for ordination, then unions, then marriage. Look how long that took. There is a huge organization literally caught with their pants down by the SCOTUS decision, now hungry for power. Now the are moving to law suits to force you to conform--it's a cottage industry. 

Transgenderism, pedophilia, incest, and polygamy all have "rights" organizations and we'll see more demands. Some subtle and some not so subtle TV programs and commercials are already pushing the envelop. Noticed any TV commercials with adult men and young children?  Are you assuming the message is two daddies, or perhaps something more sinister that you'll just start accepting? I would look up some links for you, but I wouldn't want to do it on my computer--too many infecting cookies.

And then there's the "follow the money" axiom.  "Rights" organizations can blackmail corporations, banks, individuals and politicians and they'll settle rather than risk being "anti-whatever." Some, like Target, already had gay friendly boards and CEOs. 

Although I really don't see the toilet/shower edict by Obama as a gay issue since gay men are men, and lesbians are women, and women have a lot to lose in the fight for Title 7 and 9, especially in scholarships. I would think the rank and file of the LGBT would start noticing that their cause has been taken over by radicals which will not benefit homosexuals at all.

Our pornified culture feeds the ‪#‎bathroomwars‬ which endangers women. And our president is cooperating either from bad advice from his gay agenda groups or he is complicit in the crime. Women's dignity and modesty are victims, as well as real women. His wife and daughters will never be victims--they will forever have a security detail with them.  This is just a small example--taking a photo up a woman's skirt and using it to sell a product.

Klein ads also use underage, nude child images--which is the next goal in this agenda.

Not only is it one of the largest banks in the U.S. creating the next bubble (student loans), but it is also destroying our values.

Nothing could provide a better example (of misplaced power in DC) than the newly issued guidance letter that the Department of Education, jointly with the Justice Department, just sent to public school districts across the country, threatening to cut of federal funds if public schools do not comply with guidelines for treatment of so-called transgender students.

The first paragraph of the directive provides a toll-free phone number to call if you don't know the English language well enough to read the letter and then serves up this same paragraph in six different languages. Our own Department of Education is apparently of the view that familiarity with the English language is not among the responsibilities of American citizens.

The guidance letter lists requirements with which public schools must comply to demonstrate that they do not violate the alleged civil rights of transgender students.

Among these requirements are assurances that transgender students be allowed access to restrooms and locker rooms "consistent with their gender identity."

"Gender identity," according to the letter, "refers to an individual's internal sense of gender. A person's gender identity may be different from or the same as the person's sex assigned at birth."

According to a new Cato Institute report, Department of Education spending on K-12 education now stands at $40.2 billion, ten times greater in inflation-adjusted dollars than the $4.5 billion where it stood just prior to the creation of the education department. Over this period, despite the prodigious federal spending, test scores in reading and math have hardly changed. Adding in spending from federal departments other than the Department of Education on K-12 education, the total stands at over $80 billion.

Representative Diane Black of TN doesn't think much of Obama's directive

Black called the Dear Colleague letter from the Department of Education and Department of Justice an “attempt to bully our local schools into submission to the Obama Administration’s agenda” and added that she believed “the Obama Administration is now directly responsible for endangering our students.”

“This attempt to bully our local schools into submission to the Obama Administration’s agenda is shameful and a gross abuse of the federal government’s power,” Black said in a statement. “It has nothing to do with compassion for minority student populations and everything to do with political opportunism for the next election.

“We all agree on the rights of students to be treated with dignity and respect,” Black emphasized, “but that right must also exist alongside the rights of students to maintain their privacy and safety in their own schools.”

Black added that as a grandmother of young girls, she believes “the Obama Administration is now directly responsible for endangering our students.”

“It is worth noting that this directive does not carry the force of law and I would encourage Tennessee school officials to continue following their consciences,” she said.

Trump on the #bathroomwars

Trump has come out with the classic conservative line—"It’s up to the states to decide (bathroom policies)." And his followers are saying, "See! See! He really is a conservative." Well, poop on that (pardon the pun). The Republicans used that on women’s rights, minority rights, educational standards, abortion, etc., and the feds ALWAYS won. Civil Rights was the Republican party cause for 100 years, and the Democrats even stole the credit that one! The executive branch has zip nada zilch power to command this under threat of losing school money (which the taxpayers sent to DC). Radicals tried for years to mess up Title VII and Title IX and Congress blocked them, so they just went over their heads to the Executive branch. Although it's possible Title VII got "sex" accidentally in 1964, it has protected women all these years, and the Obama administration threatens to undo that progress of 50 years. 

The LGBT mafia must have something hanging over Obama’s head, because just like the 2012 election, until a few months before the election he was all traditional marriage, yada, yada, now all of a sudden he’s so into the big lie, that there’s no gender at all, just choice. Whatever scandal they know about (and the Clinton campaign in 2008 dug up a lot), at this point it would just be a resume enhancer.

Every religion in the world has core beliefs on this, so it isn’t just Christians, Jews and Muslims. I’ll probably have to break my vow not to vote for Trump because Democrats are paving the highway to hell, and they’ve just about added the last bag of sand and rocks and are poised to dump.

North Carolina's children's education just took a backseat to the LGBT agenda. Loretta Lynch and Barack Obama are threatening the state with government money withdrawal for education.  Perhaps you don't understand that changing the law is a decision for Congress, and that for 20 years the LGBT lobby has failed to do this.  Never mind.  Here comes the President, who can't put boots on the ground in Syria for fear of the Muslims, but can put men's butts in women's restrooms in our country to poke you in the eye.  What a brave man; who cares about the women and children. Remember in 2008 he was all for traditional marriage.  Then in 2012, the LGBT really went after him for his reelection and all of a sudden the dam broke. Now we not only have same sex marriage, we have business people being sued who don't want to participate, we have men being invited to use women's locker rooms and bathrooms and churches will be next. But it won't stop here; a P will be added to the acronym because why should age matter if nothing else does?

Obama's Bathroom Wars

We know the easy, sensible solution for the Obama ‪#‎bathroomwars‬ in which the federal government bullies the states, and it isn't sharing showers and toilet rooms. It's lockable single stall facilities which many facilities like historial and church buildings already have, if an over reaching federal government thinks it's a violation of the Constitution for a man with genital deformities not to shower with women. Yes, that's absurd, but that's what government lawyers are claiming. It's far cheaper than law suits, because we know how the feds play this game--it withdraws all federal support for schools, hurting the children. Now that won't stop the LGBT steamroller, because the goal isn't who uses which toilet, but at least it won't bankrupt the states and children won't be terrorized. No, it isn't about the potential of sexual assault either, as some have been led to believe--a child or woman can just as easily be sexually assaulted by a same sex predator as the opposite sex. It's a lot more common than what is reported.
