Mitt Romney’s jealous temper tantrum

It's a shame about Romney (Flake 2.0). He lost to the most narcissistic, race baiting president ever, who made us a weak laughing stock around the world.  Mitt was Mr. Nice Guy. He's now attacking the only Republican who could win against the entrenched leftist culture.  Romney is finally showing some spirit and fight which he didn't have in 2012, but it's 6 years too late

Remember when Trump was selecting his future cabinet in Trump Tower and Romney was called in.  Not sure what the interview was for, but apparently he didn’t make the cut.  Holds grudges like a woman.

The leftist news cycle--Trump all the time

The media are giving us 24/7 anti-Trump stories--that's so you'll see/hear if you only watch or hear it a few minutes, or several hours. But remember Romney? Probably the most ethical, moral man ever nominated? They actually told over and over a story about his dog in a carrier! One ad played again and again in Ohio was about a man whose wife had died years after one of them lost a job in a company that had Romney investments. One bi-racial newscaster even criticized his family for their bi-racial adopted grand child! And since he was a Mormon, oh, the stories of his grandfather moving to Mexico.  Sort of another "birther" smear.

No, the media are over the cliff left and if you think it's just Trump you weren't watching in 2012. In 2008 they did their best to smear war hero John McCain, and then switched to his running mate Sarah Palin to hate on as an easier target since she had no coat tails of husband or father in Washington. Horror of horrors--she had allowed her special needs child to live, unthinkable for the Marxist Feminists of the Democrat base (Hillary calls them the Red Army, btw). If you are voting Democrat in 2016, you had no choice in your candidate--Hillary worked with the media to get Sanders out of the picture.  And although Trump beat a very large field, the media also controlled that since it was well known even among her campaign staff (revealed in Wikileaks) Hillary couldn't beat any of the outstanding, younger Republicans who threw their hats in the ring.

"But what’s a Republican to do? Last cycle, we nominated the ultimate Boy Scout: Mitt Romney. Whatever you think of Romney from a policy perspective, he is as admirable a man as you will ever meet. To find a presidential candidate of better moral character, you probably have to go back to Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. Romney never said a rude word about a woman in his life. . .The Washington Post made a front page story of the fact that 50 years earlier, when he was in high school, he and others had cut a classmate’s hair. And all of this in the last four years

Think back to 2012.  Just four brief years ago, before Obama's second term.
  • President Obama was still supporting traditional marriage.
  • Dead baby parts were being sold, but the public didn't know and main stream reporters weren't defending it.
  • Women could use women's restrooms and locker rooms without concern that men would wander in with camera phones ready to share the space.
  • In 2012 no one could imagine that the government would be suing nuns who take care of the elderly poor.
  • A line in the sand from the President actually meant a threat instead of a joke.
  • In 2012, people weren't being threatened for knowing and stating climate change is one more scam by the liberals.
  • Low income people didn't need to fear a raise of $1 that would bump up their health insurance costs $500.
  • Who knew in 2012 that Christians, the most persecuted religious group in the world, would find no welcome in the U.S. when fleeing Islamic jihad.
  • Bakers weren't being forced in 2012 under threat of ruin and jail to participate in weddings.
  • College age voters actually knew what socialism meant--well, maybe not--cross out that one.
  • Methodist pastors still took seriously the vows they'd made.
  • Teens weren't buying birth control without medical checks.
And this is just scary enough to bring out the Trump vote.

Stacy Dash hasn’t changed her mind

“I didn’t know anything about [Obama] when I voted for him in 2008. My choice to do so was purely because he was black,” she admitted. “Naively, I thought he would be the right person for the job but unfortunately it didn’t turn out that way. Obama had the opportunity to really unite this country in such a profound way, but instead he has done the opposite. We are so divided right now, everything has become about race, more than I’ve ever known in my lifetime.”

Stacey Dash, a black actress,  was quoted in Huffington Post in 2012 as supporting Romney, and admitted to Fox News (and again today) that she voted for Obama because he was black and sincerely hoped he would bring the country together.  Her Twitter account was swamped with hate.  It’s hard for blacks to live outside the Democrat party.  I’ve yet to see a conservative black guest/talking head on any show not say he/she voted for Obama with that hope.  They are admitting those hopes have been dashed. (Pardon the pun).

What shall we do? Guest blogger, Joan

We have  a president who was voted in by the part of the electorate largely incapable of critical thinking - beginning with single women under the age of 29, and the "receivers" of government largesse, etc.

The questions in my mind in addition to the aforementioned unfortunate reason for the accelerated demise of the "republican" form of government are:

  • Why is there not more outcry about the voting fraud? The lack of proper identification; some of the Ohio districts having not one single vote for Romney; a cargo plane crashing (reason please?) with 47000 pieces of mail, largely ballots from our servicemen in Afghanistan. The only one screaming is Allen West. More screaming, please.
  • And, it was my opinion from the start that the conservatives among us never explained why conservatism trumps liberalism. Fundamental Christians are largely Democrats. It's so touchy feely to help those less fortunate. Never mind that this approach keeps them remain less fortunate. Why haven't we gone to the heart of the matter? It's a philosophical difference. It is the difference between success and failure.
  • Our children are not taught the Constitution in school, history has been rewritten, how often do you hear the Pledge of Allegiance these days? Patriotism seems limited only to the military. Seems to me, we have a lot of work to do, and the answer, I don't believe, is in the "perfect candidate" unless that candidate does not have to fight ugly in primaries and go off the deep end early on, and unless that candidate takes the time to sell "conservatism". It's time to wake up a sleeping population.

Guess they will wake up in ashes.

And so I wonder what I can or should be doing. Feel like a voice in the wilderness.

Any ideas, Norma?

On the final debate Monday evening

We were in Indianapolis visiting family, all of whom are on the same page politically, so we had a lot of company and I even stayed up to watch the analysis, which I usually don’t do.  I don’t like having people tell me what I just watched and listened to.  But this was different.  All of us were baffled by some of Romney’s responses either to Obama or the moderator.  However, after listening to people who do this for a living, it made a little more sense.

It wasn’t Romney’s job at this point to win a debate—all he needed to do was hold his own (rising in the polls every day) and keep Obama from trying to look good.  And in that he succeeded.  Hugely.  Obama was childish, petulant, aggressive and argumentative, and Romney was the grown up, with a sense of humor, some humility, and even conceded several places that Obama was doing the right thing (which shocked everyone).  Obama played to his base; Romney to the entire country.

In other areas, like social media--I don't tweet. But I did notice the national news sources pay attention, and the analysis shows terrible racism and race hatred on the part of Obama voters/supporters. This is a very divisive president and his social media supporters demonstrate that.  Democrats have historically divided Americans into voting blocks—men against women; blacks against browns; white rich men against poor white men; those on the plantation against those living free and earning more.  But Obama being a community organizer and from Chicago, really has exploded this system.  Even his big celeb fund raisers say awful things on their tweets.  A bunch of Twits.

In the debate Obama was dropping some code to his base about the 80's (Reagan), 50's (Eisenhower) and 20s (Coolidge). Not bad company for Romney. Those were powerful, successful years for our nation, years of strength and peace, great movement for minorities and poor.  But Obama never learned that in school, he only learned the revised version, the “progressive” version of American history.  And although the debate was supposed to be on foreign policy, Romney kept bring everything back to the economy (on Cherry Lake Drive we were yelling about that, too).  Obama played into his hands. Yes, maybe you need to look closer at Romney.

We (watching the debate) were all shocked that Romney didn’t lay him out flat on Libya, because each day gets worse and worse. But by skirting the issue, he gave Obama no platform to continue lying.  Now it has come out that our brave, concerned President was watching the terror in real time,  then went to bed to rest up for a busy campaign event with Beyonce and Jay-Z while our embassy was under attack and no reinforcement were ordered by him.  All Romney needs to do to attack Obama on Libya is let people read the newspaper (although that won’t convince his staunchest followers).

Will women swing to Romney?

Christians for Mitt says: “Goodbye, Obama! USA Today says that WOMEN in swing states are swinging towards Romney & Ryan! Why? Because we want jobs, national security, our consciences and families honored, religious liberty -- we want America back!”

As the presidential campaign heads into its final weeks, the survey of voters in 12 crucial swing states finds female voters much more engaged in the election and increasingly concerned about the deficit and debt issues that favor Romney. The Republican nominee has pulled within one point of the president among women who are likely voters, 48%-49%, and leads by 8 points among men.

Raddatz the debate judge is Obama’s buddy

Do you think there is a conflict of interest? If Mrs. Romney had a sorority sister working for a Fox News panel, do you think that wouldn't be brought up every night?

"Martha Raddatz (ABC) has a connection with Barack Obama going all the way back to their days at Harvard. They worked on the Harvard Law Review together, and Obama attended her 1991 wedding. Fast forward to the present, and President Obama has appointed Raddatz’s husband, Julius Genachowski, to the Federal Communications Commission. Genachowski is also an Obama campaign bundler, meaning that he is a major fundraiser for the president’s re-election effort. That storyline alone raises questions of corruption and rewarding political supporters with powerful federal posts. Yet ABC insists that Raddatz has no conflict of interest in moderating the debate." Father Maletta’s October 7 sermon on religious liberty

Conservatives are excited. Bump in the polls after the debate. Keep in mind the 6 point bump John McCain got after announcing Sarah Palin as his vice president.  Now is not the time to become complacent.  The lies in the ads here in Ohio (we’re a swing state) are amazing, shameless, and very large. The Chicago Axe  (Axelrod) is doing all he can to destroy Romney’s character.

We still have 30 million Christians not registered to vote. Be sure to listen to Father Maletta's sermon on October 7. It's inspiring.  Because we were created to be in relationship with God, if your candidate is wrong on life and marriage, the other social issues won't matter much.

Another campaign stop in California

Saul Alinsky is considered the founder of modern protest tactics and the father of community organizing. He became the topic of Hillary Clinton’s college thesis, a role model for Barack Obama and a mentor to labor activist Cesar Chavez.  President Obama will go to California to dedicate a memorial to Chavez. This way in one trip he can pump up the Hispanic vote and pander to his far left wing base which lately has been very unhappy with him for  trying to appear “centrist“ for the campaign.

Plagiary by Obama—the 2008 and 2012 debates compared

2012: I also want to close those loopholes that are giving incentives for companies that are shipping jobs overseas. I want to provide tax breaks for companies that are investing here in the United States.
2008: Let's just be clear. What I do is I close corporate loopholes, stop providing tax cuts to corporations that are shipping jobs overseas so that we're giving tax breaks to companies that are investing here in the United States.
*
2012: And so the question here tonight is not where we've been but where we’re going. Governor Romney has a perspective that says if we cut taxes, skewed towards the wealthy, and roll back regulations that we’ll be better off. [...]
Are we going to double down on the top-down economic policies that helped to get us into this mess, or do we embrace a new economic patriotism that says, America does best when the middle class does best? And I'm looking forward to having that debate.
2008: Now, we also have to recognize that this is a final verdict on eight years of failed economic policies promoted by George Bush, supported by Senator McCain, a theory that basically says that we can shred regulations and consumer protections and give more and more to the most, and somehow prosperity will trickle down.
It hasn't worked. And I think that the fundamentals of the economy have to be measured by whether or not the middle class is getting a fair shake. That's why I'm running for president, and that's what I hope we're going to be talking about tonight.
*
2012: Now, I've identified areas where we can, right away, make a change that I believe would actually help the economy. The -- the oil industry gets $4 billion a year in corporate welfare. Basically, they get deductions that those small businesses that Governor Romney refers to, they don't get. Now, does anybody think that ExxonMobil needs some extra money when they're making money every time you go to the pump? Why wouldn't we want to eliminate that?
2008: And if we want to talk about oil company profits, under your tax plan, John -- this is undeniable -- oil companies would get an additional $4 billion in tax breaks. Now, look, we all would love to lower taxes on everybody. But here's the problem: If we are giving them to oil companies, then that means that there are those who are not going to be getting them.
*
2012: [W]e've got to boost American energy production. And oil and natural gas production are higher than they’ve been in years. But I also believe that we've got to look at the energy source of the future, like wind and solar and biofuels, and make those investments.
2008: We have to have energy independence, so I've put forward a plan to make sure that, in 10 years'time, we have freed ourselves from dependence on Middle Eastern oil by increasing production at home, but most importantly by starting to invest in alternative energy, solar, wind, biodiesel, making sure that we're developing the fuel-efficient cars of the future right here in the United States[.]

Hope it’s covered by Obamacare

299444_3827566769865_1623618050_n[1]

I showed this to my husband and he said, “People have too much time on their hands.”

I don't know who PeopleBrowsr is, but it analyzes tweets/twitter (I’m not on Twitter).
"Number of tweets overall. During the 90-minute debate, there were 10.4 million tweets mentioning Mitt Romney, Barack Obama or the debate.
Tweets specifically mentioning Obama and "win or winner." Total: 29,677.
Tweets specifically mentioning Romney and "win or winner." Total: 47,141.
The peak of overall activity. Twitter activity was highest between 9:48 and 9:58 pm EDT, peaking at 9:53, during a discussion about health insurance and regulation. The second largest peak was at 9:28 pm EDT, just after Romney suggested cutting funding to PBS despite the fact that he loves Big Bird.

Watching the debate—Obama is being Obama

David Gelernter on the debate: "Remember that Obama is Richard Nixon in a JFK suit. He can do a fair imitation of charm for the right audience, for a short time. But he is dour, sour, full of himself, and mean. He is a patronizing man who cares (and always has) about winning elections—not governing; not the United States. Romney just has to let Obama be Obama."

Lehrer appears to be cueing Obama and clarifying questions for him. This is like watching a massacre—Obama is a stumblebum without his teleprompter, he’s punch drunk, using scatter shot whereas Romney is taking aim and hitting the target.

But we all know how the MSM pundits will see it:  Obama has won!

Are these Julia’s lady parts?

299327_10152130043655084_1584268495_n[1]

We knew the left didn’t think much of women, but this e-card for the Obama campaign confirms it.  To politicians like Teddy and Edwards, Fluke, Clinton and Obama, a woman voter is the sum of her “lady parts.”

Romney’s ad—Ohio is coal country

http://www.mittromney.com/forms/bankrupt

“President Obama is attacking Mitt Romney because Mitt Romney supports coal miners.

In 2008, Barack Obama said building a coal-powered plant will bankrupt you. (voice over and video of that famous line)

President Obama wages war on coal while we lose jobs to China. We can’t afford four more years.”

Remember all those squirrely light bulbs the government is forcing us to buy?  Made in China.  In coal fired plants.  And it’s not even clean coal, and they are terrible polluters.

“CFLs are manufactured mostly in China with virtually no health, safety, or environmental protection regulations. Ironically, most of the electricity used to manufacture CFLs comes from coal-fired generators. As CFLs increase in popularity, mercury exposure to workers, to electricians, to maintenance personal, to consumers, to water supplies, and to the living environment, will go ahead almost unchecked.” http://lightbulbchoice.com/cfls-are-mercury-polluters/

Stop beating up Mitt Romney

A friend via e-mail says:  “I support Mitt Romney because... should be our mantra... And perhaps his campaigning tactics aren't quite right on, so what are we doing about it? Do we agree with Obama and what he has done in his campaign? Does a true, leader's test come directly from misleading a country for almost 4 years and topping it off with damming campaigns about our country's status, about his opponent?

Think about what Obama will do IF he is re-elected! He will have unfettered reign over all policies...cap and trade, taxes, oil drilling (what a joke!), our Constitutional rights, and will he re-write the 2-term limit of the presidential office.

As we focus on the real issues, we all need to read the statements that the candidates make about policies regarding the issues. For instance, I am outraged by how Obama, Clinton, etc. have swept under the rug the attack on our embassy in Libya and the killing of our ambassador, Ambassador Stevens. No one is really crying out about this, yet we, the United States, were attacked! What about Israel? Arms control across the world? Have you seen Obama's actions/words in regard to these situations? And what do you think about them...?

These are questions for both candidates and if everyone would examine their conscious as to their beliefs, then examine the candidates' records and policies, the choice should be clear. We are brighter than what the media plays us to be...let's show them that!”

You go Girl!

Noise, Mr. President?

PRESIDENT OBAMA: "Well—look, I have conversations with Prime Minister Netanyahu all the time. And I understand and share Prime Minister Netanyahu's insistence that Iran should not obtain a nuclear weapon, because it would threaten us, it would threaten Israel, and it would threaten the world and kick off a nuclear arms race."

STEVE KROFT: "You’re saying, you don't feel any pressure from Prime Minister Netanyahu in the middle of a campaign to try and get you to change your policy and draw a line in the sand? You don’t feel any pressure?"
...

"When it comes to our national security decisions—any pressure that I feel is simply to do what's right for the American people. And I am going to block out—any noise that's out there. Now I feel an obligation, not pressure but obligation, to make sure that we're in close consultation with the Israelis—on these issues. Because it affects them deeply. They're one of our closest allies in the region. And we’ve got an Iranian regime that has said horrible things that directly threaten Israel’s existence."

Dissing Catholicism

"There were a lot of bad speeches at the Democratic National Convention, but Caroline Kennedy's speech was the low point in many ways. She got up on a national stage and used her professed Catholic faith to justify and actually demand the preservation of grave evils that the Church explicitly condemns. She presented lies for the truth, and tried to justify it with her Catholic faith." Jennifer Hartline, Catholic Online.

I know way too many Christians who justify Obama's policies with their private interpretations of the Bible or the church (any church, pick one), ignoring Abortion and the HHS Mandate which destroys their first amendment rights. Look out boomers, you'll be next—first free contraception and abortions on the front end, then he’ll start at the other end with killing them with kindness euthanasia. What makes you so special if others aren’t?

A tower of champagne bottles

Wonder how many poor children 800 bottles of $350 champagne could have fed?  Oh well, they were probably just poor black children—the ones who got away from the abortion clinics.

The Middle East is going up in flames, and like Nero Obama grins and laughs while celebs pay the bills.  He pulled in $6 million at Jay-Z’s event.  How many campaign events since 9/11 when the middle east riots started?
