Rape as a weapon of war

Rape.

As a "community," American feminists are a huge fail. They are narrow minded, self-centered, and duplicitous. Begin with the Squad in Congress, follow them with the Women's Studies mafia at the Universities then clean up on aisle 7 with the Hollywood aging celebs digging up dirt on men they chased during their failed careers. Silence in the case of rape as a weapon of war really is violence, unlike using the wrong pronoun.

It's almost two months since the October 7 massacre in Israel. The U.N. virtue signalers (many women) who can make all sorts of pronouncements and create documents about a fraction of a degree in temperature, have been much too busy preening to condemn the rape of women and children, not by the military, but by Palestinian civilians. It's disgusting. I'm ashamed of all those who say they fight for women, from AOC and Tlaib in D.C. to the motley crew and noisy gaggle in the U.N.
Israeli women are making waves, but even they don't say anything about rape as a war weapon in Sudan and Ethiopia, where some estimates are that 70% of the women have been kidnapped for sex or raped and left to fend for themselves as the men are killed.

I'm sorry to provide such a biased link (pro-Hamas), but it's the only one I found which even had a small paragraph about rape as a war weapon being addressed by U.N. It may be my search skills or Big Tech algorithms.

Northern, rich sanctuary cities complain about illegal invasion

"MSNBC’s Chris Hayes called the migrant flights “deeply deeply sick and dehumanizing” as if the 50 individuals were shipped to a concentration camp. CNN actually compared the flights to one of the nation’s most glamorous vacation spots to the Nazi Holocaust. The Washington Post’s Max Boot, who last month called Martha’s Vineyard “the real America,” condemned the move as “beneath contempt” for the Florida governor.

The majority-white, wealthy liberal enclave where median home sales are north of $1.3 million and where 150,000 tourists descend every summer should, however, be well-equipped to absorb 50 new migrants into its community. After all, rich white liberals have spent the better half of the last decade lecturing Americans to bring home “your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free” and welcome unchecked illegal migration."

No Joke, Jimmy Kimmel

No Joke by Mike Huckabee (his column of April 8, 2022

Rep. Marjorie Taylor-Greene said she reported former comedian-turned-DNC mouthpiece Jimmy Kimmel to the Capitol Police for using his monologue to attack her for criticizing the confirmation of Ketanji Brown Jackson to the Supreme Court. He called her “Klan mom” and said, “Wow, where is Will Smith when you need him?”

https://nypost.com/2022/04/07/marjorie-taylor-greene-reports-jimmy-kimmel-over-will-smith-joke/

Kimmel dismissed her complaint, saying it was a joke (I’m glad he pointed that out; it’s often hard to tell with his monologues.) But Greene said it’s no joke, and she’d already had some of his “fans” who were incited by him call her office and threaten violence against a Congress member.

This gets into a grey area of determining what’s protected free speech and what’s an illegal threat or incitement. I doubt anything will happen to Kimmel, not even second thoughts about how “amusing” it is to endorse violence against someone for holding a different political opinion (I’ll also note that he was suggesting a large man attack a woman, something that he may have no problem with, but I’m apparently one of the last people left who remembers what a “woman” is and that men aren’t supposed to hit them.)

This sort of openly expressed wish to physically assault or even murder anyone who holds non-“woke” political views has become a hallmark of the tolerant, diversity-loving left. I wish they had as much self-awareness as they do arrogance. If so, maybe they’d realize how dangerous and unfunny that is.

Also how hypocritical. Remember when they tried to blame the Gabrielle Giffords’ shooting on a Sarah Palin ad with a “crosshairs” logo in it that the shooter never even saw? Or how they continue to claim that Trump is directly responsible for any violence other people committed on January 6th, even after he told his supporters to protest “peacefully and patriotically”? Yet they gleefully cheer on the idea of violence against anyone they disagree with, even though they know plenty of deranged leftists are listening, from the guy who shot up the office of the Family Research Council to the Bernie Bro who nearly murdered Rep. Steve Scalise.

I tell plenty of jokes about Democrats on my show, but whether you like them or not, it’s obvious that they’re jokes and never calls for violence. See if you can say the same thing about the left after reading through this list of very unfunny reminders of the consequences of this kind of violent rhetoric, compiled by Ed Driscoll at Instapundit.

Do as I say, not as I do--how progressive are Democrats

https://youtu.be/hNDgcjVGHIw

When Democrats have the power, just how progressive are they?

Start with housing.  The vote down low income housing--but they say they want it.

Then tax codes.  The wealthiest pay the lowest tax rate--but they are Democrats.  Texas is more liberal than Washington state on taxes.

What about education?  World class in every zip code? 140 districts in one county--Cook in Illinois. So there is great inequity in funding schools.  Same in wealthy Connecticut.  Liberals don't want to share. Than blame Republicans for the crises in blue states.

This video had about 6 million view when I watched it.

Draft deferments, Donald Trump, Joe Biden and Bill Clinton

Draft deferments were probably not fair, but they were legal and very, very common, especially during the Vietnam when my husband was draft age. The government believed it had a stake in education, marriage and fatherhood. My husband had at least 3 student deferments, then 1 for being a father, and then later, married men were deferred by JFK, so he had that, too. And of course, the biggest deferments were age and sex. Both of my grandfathers, one was 27 and the other 45,  had to sign up for the draft for WWI—the government was getting desperate.  Even in WWI there was talk of drafting women, but it never happened. Haters are gonna hate. Standards for Democrats are always different. Always.

From a friend of mine on Facebook:

“Before the virus, I wrote an article that went viral about the truth behind Donald Trump's draft deferments. To sum it up, Trump went to the draft board on two different occasions and took the physical. On three of the draft notices he met the criteria for receiving a student deferment. He was in college and there was no need to draft students because the war in Vietnam was not WWII.

So, the second time he took the physical he received a 4F status. It does not say why on the card, it just says that he is disqualified. Nowhere does it say "bone spurs" and where that information came from was when a reporter asked Trump why did he get disqualified for service, and he said that he didn't know, he thought it was bone spurs.

Now, for those who hate everything about Trump without any real reason, they will call Trump a "draft dodger", which is kind of like charging someone you invited into your house, and fed them dinner, with breaking and entering. Trump didn't "dodge" something that he showed up and took the physical.

The other thing is that the Trump haters like to say that Trump was an athletic guy, and a star athlete, and so he faked bone spurs. However, Trump was totally devoted to his studies. He did not go to parties; he did not drink alcohol and he didn’t even go to the football games.

But that does not stop the Democrats and the left from calling him "Captain Bone spurs" and calling him a draft dodger every chance they get.

OK, but what about Biden?

Biden went through college at the same time, and he also did not go to Vietnam. So, why have there been no comments on Biden’s draft deferments? Trump received four draft deferments. Three were for being in college and the fourth one was for not meeting the physical standards to be in the US military. So basically, Trump was like 75% of the male population then, and 75% of the entire population now.

Bill Clinton is one that actually dodged the draft by going to England during the war, but no one ever mentions him, since he cannot run for president anymore.

So, what about Biden?

Biden had five draft deferments. One more than Trump. Four of the five were for him being in college, but the last one gave Biden a 1Y classification, which means he was not physically fit to be in the military. This would be changed to 4F when the draft rules were changed in 1971. So, he was exactly like Donald Trump.

Now Trump thinks his physical ailment was bone spurs. But what about Biden?

Biden’s physical ailment was for asthma.

Now, Trump did not do any sports or anything physical. Who knows, it may have been due to bone spurs, but Biden excelled at sports. While in High School Biden played on the football team. During the summer he worked as a lifeguard, where he told the story of how he faced down a knife wielding gang member by the name of Corn Pop, by wrapping a chain around his arm. Biden later lied about playing for the University of Delaware football team, but he was trying to show how physically fit and tough he was when he bragged about these things.

Biden never mentions asthma in his book “Promises to Keep”, and continues to regale about how tough he was and how physically fit the young Joe Biden was. So, if that is true, then why did he fail a draft physical?

Senator Tammy Duckworth, a Democrat who also served in Iraq, has called Donald Trump a coward and said his deferment was for the “yellow streak down his back”. Has Senator Duckworth ever said anything at all about Joe Biden, or his draft deferments?

Mayor Pete Buttigieg told ABC’s “This Week” that ““You have somebody who thinks it’s all right to have somebody go in his place into a deadly war and is willing to pretend to be disabled to do it. That is an assault on the honor of this country.” So, does presidential wannabe Buttigieg consider Biden’s deferments an “assault on the honor of this country?”

No, just like the Democrats keeping totally silent about Joe Biden’s sexual assault accusations, while they went out of their way to scream about the really flimsy allegations of Supreme Court Justice Kavanaugh, I figure no Democrat will make any comments about Joe Biden’s record.

Oh, and for all of those on Facebook who constantly use the term “Draft Dodger in Chief” or call Trump “Captain Bone spurs”, ask them if they are now going to call Biden “Captain Asthma” and consider him a draft dodger.”

Why are Democrats so inconsistent—power. Michael Smith, guest blogger

How can one justify a city-wide ban on E-cigarettes and fund "safe injection sites" for drugs?

How is it even remotely logical to ban cigarettes and promote legalization of marijuana?

What sense does it make to ban private assistance to feed the homeless and then complain that there isn't enough funding for food programs for them?

How can you argue for free healthcare for illegal non-citizens when American veterans can't get help?

How can you argue that it is discriminatory to refuse to bake a cake for a same sex wedding but forcing a baker to do so against their will is not?

How can you cry about the sanctity of elections and then refuse to put measures in place to validate the eligibility of the voters?

How can you argue that a particular redistricting is unconstitutional and then promote open borders?

How can you argue argue for background checks and restrictions to own a gun and ammunition because "if it can save one child, it is worth it" and then say that abortions should be free without restriction?

How can you argue that school shootings are aberrations when more children are aborted each day in abortion clinics than are killed in all school shootings?

This is your modern Democrat party.

They no longer are required to make sense.

This is all about power and pandering to anyone who will vote to give it to them.

The hypocrisy of academe

Victor Davis Hanson is unhappy with academe-- faculty who make fortunes and careers lecturing about inequality and diversity so they can not feel guilty when buying million dollar homes and fancy cars. It's a mechanism. Paul Krugman earns $225,000 in retirement for studying inequality and not teaching a course. The Ohio State president makes $3.5 million, but entry level faculty salaries have only gone up about 1% over the past 15 years. But they rail about corporations and the poor in society. All the race and class and gender jargon is just that--it means nothing.

Whataboutism

Robert C. Byrd waited years to say that his KKK membership was a mistake. Democrats loved him; named highways, mountains and parks after him. (Where are the demands to take his name down?) He was a good friend of the Clintons.  President Obama waited six years to even hint that the Ft. Hood massacre was terrorism, and even then he never clearly stated it. Loretta Lynch has never fessed up to the tarmac tango with Bill--we're still waiting. Donald Trump waits 24 hours to name KKK after his original condemnation as just one of the hate groups (Antifa was there too but they are ignored by media), and Democrats, media and never Trumpers go berserk

Center for Medical Progress and the leftist value system

The same friends and acquaintances who are anti-Trump are also pro-abortion and doing the happy dance that the journalists at Center for Medical Progress have had more charges filed against them. These journalists are the people who recorded in a public place staffers of Planned Parenthood discussing how to do abortions so that the tissue is in good shape for sale to medical labs. This reminds me of the Hawaiian judge claiming the travel orders for seven countries designated by Obama as not being able to properly vet and from which they've never had an immigrant is hurting Hawaii. Politics. Follow the money. Have any of the animal rights journalists who filmed undercover about animal cruelty in labs or slaughter houses ever gone to jail? Are animals that much more protected in our culture than babies? Or what about the undercover writers who go to work in blue or pink collar jobs so they can smear an entire industry like mining or waitressing while raking in the money for their latest book? The left loves those guys. Different ox.

Jeff Bezos the amazing capitalist

About three years ago Jeff Bezos of Amazon bought the formerly liberal, now leftist, Washington Post. Dennis Prager describes it as the National Enquirer of the left. Bezos is an amazing capitalist--has a greater networth than the Walton family of Walmart from whom he learned that moving products quickly and undercutting the competition was the quickest route to wealth. I don't think he's particularly interested in truth, objectivity or journalism; the "news" now seems to be mostly anecdotal and opinion based although there are still opinion columns. Occasionally, journalism breaks out, but not often, so maybe he just likes the idea. Only about 2% of Americans get their news from print (I read WaPo online, and am not sure how that's counted), and it's even less for those under 25 who prefer the fake news of late night comedy shows.

Faux outrage

Image may contain: 1 person , meme and text
The price of celebrity professors is paid for by student loans. "Harvard pays the adjuncts who teach many of its undergraduate classes an average of $11,037. Elizabeth Warren, who likes comparing the salary of a company's employees to its CEO’s, isn’t comparing the $429,981 that Harvard paid her before she ran for office to an adjunct’s salary. And unlike a CEO, all Warren did was show up for a little bit and then go back to her real business as a lawyer and government consultant." (Frontpage Magazine, June 12, 2014)

What's in a name?

"American society lavished scholarships on the upper-middle-class prep-school graduate Barack Hussein Obama but perhaps would not have done so much for just another Barry Dunham. It is not surprising that when George Zimmerman had been in a fight with Trayvon Martin, his scars were photoshopped away and his 911 call racialized. Would that have happened had he chosen to go by the name of Jorge Mesa?" Victor Davis Hanson
