Huffpo slinking away from the Limbaugh quotes

From NewsBusters.
"Earlier today, the Weekly Standard’s John McCormack reported that the Huffington Post had asked author Jack Huberman to document quotes allegedly from Rush Limbaugh declaring that slavery “had its merits” and that the assassin of Martin Luther King, Jr. deserved the Medal of Honor.

The quotes were widely cited as real by several sports writers and on CNN and MSNBC in the past week as proof that Limbaugh was a racist who did not deserve to own part of the St. Louis Rams football team. But the Huffington Post has now removed them, saying the author has not been able to substantiate them."
Oh, I so hope Rush sues! It's going to track back to Obama--you wait and see.

It has now been discovered by tracking IP addresses where the false quotes in Wikipedia (source of all the lies that no one checked) came from, and also that there are ties back to Attorney General Holder in the Obama Administration. NFL Players Association Executive Director DeMaurice Smith served as counsel to Attorney General Eric Holder and was a member of Barack Obama’s transition team.

It seems to me that all the negative vibes this blowhard (Rush Hudson Limbaugh A.KA. Jeff Christie) has been spewing over these many years has come back to blow back on his face (A classic “Blow Back”). He always tries to give off the airs that he can have anything he wants but as we all witness those with more money and more influence tossed him aside like sack of potatoes and the ultimate insult was that it was done in public (money don’t buy you everything butterball).

Now of course he blames everyone else (Michael J. Fox, Perez Hilton, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Sonia Sotomayor, Hillary Clinton, Olympia Snowe, ESPN, NFL, the media, basically people of color, the handicapped, women and gays) when of course all you have to do is listen to his show and plainly hear his daily prejudices filled sermons. So NFL, I salute you decision, job well done. And to the whaling cry baby perched on his self made pedestal, quit your whining it was your own fault. Don’t we all feel better?

It would seem from your comment that you must be a regular listener to Limbaugh. I listen some--and I haven't heard lies. Can you be more specific and less flamboyant? And I've heard him ridicule Jackson and Sharpton with their own words, and indeed they deserve it, but never heard him say anything negative about people of color--does he use that phrase except when quoting someone snooty and academic? I'm guessing he's raised more money for charity than all his critics combined--you know, the ones who believe in killing unborn babies, redistributing American wealth, and reenslaving the women of Afghanistan and Iraq.

Rush is being denied his rights because of his politics. The made up lies are part of that. It's not whining to report your enemies lie.

Limbaugh suggested either M. Fox was faking in his commercial promoting embryonic stem cell research or hadn't taken his medicine. I think as it turned out, Fox did say he didn't take the medicine when he testifies so that people can see the devastating affects of the disease. Mr. Limbaugh also has a disability (he's deaf), but I don't hear the left supporting his politics because of it.
