Why do the Democrats create rumors and lies about Haitians? Try this story from Newsweek and Tampa Free Press.

"In 2020, the last full year of the Trump administration,1,207 Haitians were apprehended at the U.S. southern border. Contrast that to the first eight months of 2021 under the Biden administration, when 47,255 Haitians were apprehended. These numbers are staggering and they're getting worse.

Presently, more than 211,000 Haitians have been approved for the Biden administration's Process for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans parole program (CHNV) and have been granted work permits. And under certain legal statuses, the CHNV program allows an immigrant who is already in the U.S. to potentially sponsor another immigrant." (Newsweek, Sept 13, 2024)

According to the Tampa Free Press the DHS is flying them to 50 airports so they are spread over every state. DHS documents say, "All individuals paroled into the United States are, by definition, inadmissible, including those paroled under the CHNV Processes." Florida, Texas, and Georgia are the top spots--Harris needs to turn them blue to create a one-party system so she can destroy the Constitution.

 
Yours is now a border town. Yours is now a sanctuary city. Your schools and hospitals need ESL teachers, translators and service providers who can speak French, Creole and Spanish. White men need not apply. Open your wallets America, Harris wants your money, your vote and your guns.

Routh and the Haitians and the Media

The Haitians in Springfield, which the Left media want to make the story of the century, and the would be assassin, Ryan Routh, which is the real story they want to ignore, gets stranger and stranger. The assassin seems to have been traveling all over the world, although on paper he's a pauper, meeting with nefarious characters making deals for which he had no authority (or did he?). He was recruiting for Ukraine, while being on Homeland Security's radar since June 2023 as scary and looney tunes. But they didn't investigate! Then we find out yesterday the so-called bomb threats to stir up hatred for Trump and Vance in Springfield, Ohio (spread worldwide by our loyal, fearless American patsies in the press) were phoned in from a foreign country. Go figure. It's almost like a plan.

ABC and others--all Democrat all the time

As I wait for daylight to walk outside, I'm listening to ABC blurting misinformation in the kitchen about Sunday's post-assassination attempt (only non-cable TV in the house). I can't even . . . and to think this is what Americans hear as "news." Most of our news channels should be declared appendages of the Democrat party and claimed as a donation in the party's tax reports. Particularly the Harris campaign. Just to be sure they've nailed down their bias, they even threw in what Donald Trump said about Taylor Swift. They don't even mention the hundreds of times the left has called him Hitler and threat to democracy.

The Democrat media blame Trump for Florida attempt on his life

Just last week Harris lied on national TV with her friendly, sisterhood moderators not calling her on it, falsely accusing Trump of calling Nazis “fine people”, promising a “bloodbath,” and being responsible for “the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.” Those debunked lies she repeats resonate with weak minded people like Ryan Routh who tried to kill Trump in Florida yesterday at his poorly guarded by Secret Service golf course. Weak minded Democrats who now believe "democracy" means bloated federal agencies never elected to anything. Weak minded Harris who has called for defunding of police, elimination of "resource" officers in schools, and taking the guns (mandated) of law-abiding citizens. Weak minded Biden who withdrew Kennedy's Secret Service protection (of only a few weeks) as soon as he supported Trump.

 
Yet, a blind, deaf leftist media slavishly bowing to their party of hate continued their brand of virtuous outrage yesterday afternoon reporting the crime as Trump's fault and saying HE needs to tone down the rhetoric. I suppose they mean he shouldn't talk about taxes or inflation or foreign wars or abortion or the border or bringing back jobs to our country that fled to friendlier shores. Then they quickly move on to Springfield, OH and blame Vance for Biden's resettlement of 20-30,000 refugees swamping a small town of 60,000. Those calls to the city government have been recorded and are out there, but the media blame everyone but themselves.

 
Biden/Harris have made all the USA  border states. Socialist equity. Only their families get guards and security gates. Sometimes I hear "how dumb do they think we are," but it should be "how long can they fool Democrats."

Ryan Routh was supporter of Ukraine. "The suspect in the FBI's custody said in a June 2022 video interview with Newsweek Romania that he was in Ukraine to help recruit people to the war effort.
Routh said that he was in Ukraine originally to help fight but that ge was 56 years old and had no fighting experience and was subsequently turned down. He said he stayed in Kyiv afterward to promote projects to support the army.

"Plan B was to come here to Kyiv and promote getting more people here," Routh said in the interview. "You know, we need thousands and thousands and thousands of people here fighting with the Ukrainians."

Routh said the world was at a "critical juncture" in the war, which he called a struggle of good versus evil."

Sounds to me like he must have had some money and backing to fly to Europe, live there and without knowing the language or having military experience, he evangelized the war we Americans are paying for. And he was willing to die in order to stop Trump. That's some religion the leftists are preaching.

A Slavery Teaching Act named for Kamala Harris

"The "Kamala Harris Truth in Slavery Teaching Act" was filed Wednesday in both the Florida House and Senate. Under the bill, educators would need to meet several requirements when teaching "the history of African Americans."

The requirements include teaching which "political parties supported slavery," something its authors argue is currently ignored in most curriculums." Of course, that would be the truth about the Democrat Party's involvement in keeping black Americans down. Through the Civil War, KKK, Jim Crow, right up to the 60s and the Civil Rights Act--which wouldn't have passed without Republican support.

 
And if it were me, I'd add the truth about how Planned Parenthood, a campaign front for Democrats, has killed generations of black citizens through abortion campaigning.

When being responsible is called "banning books"

 Removing a pornographic title from the school library isn't banning a book, any more than removing a book on torture or how to build a machine gun is banning a book. It is not appropriate behavior to provide guides on gay sex techniques and positions for 11 year olds--it's grooming to desensitize them.  If the taxpayers are expected to pay for them and the staff who selected them, they have a right to say what are the community standards. Librarians, even school librarians, have selection standards that are probably left of the ACLU. The hysteria about "banning" is whipped up by the ALA so they can whine about a parent who expects professional, rational thinking. In fact, what the staff are doing is guaranteeing a fail for the next bond issue.

Kamala Harris is a blatant racist and classist

Kamala Harris may be the biggest racist of the year, or maybe of the Biden administration. . . and that's saying something. Democrats will claim that Trump is a racist with no evidence.  But the Biden gang proves it every day.  Her latest scandal is she has politicized Hurricane Ian because she wants "equity." Federal money she told a Democrat political group should go to the poor and [read] black people. I guess if a black multi-millionaire loses his property because the house was too close to the water on Sanibel, FEMA should give him more money than the white middle class guy who uses his property to invest for his retirement. But in her mind it's about "climate change" (used different set of words to be cagey) and systemic racism. The woman, who most recently told the world we were allies of North Korea and cackles like a crow, cannot be trusted with history, science, common sense or the best interests of black Americans.

Compare and contrast the response to Katrina and Ian

Let's review some history of the media and Democrat party (redundant). Remember Katrina? In 2005 New Orleans was devastated. It had a black Democrat mayor responsible for the local evacuation and safety. Louisiana had a female Democrat governor who should have had the rest of the state ready to respond as well as her neighbors. Who did the press blame? President Bush. Why? Because he flew over and looked at the devastation and didn't parachute into the eye of the storm. Makes sense right?

 
Let's contrast to Ian, the storm currently devastating Florida. Some in the mainstream media (not all are so stupid) can't blame Biden so they want to discuss "climate change" which they confuse with weather. That way they can continue to back Biden's inflationary plans for the green new deal (IRA) instead of fighting highest inflation in 50 years, shortages of fuel which could leave Europe freezing this winter, and chaos at our southern border with the sex and drug trafficking.

 
Because DeSantis was better at controlling Florida's economy while the rest of the nation locked down and shuddered at the latest pronouncement of Fauci and CDC (many of which have been proven wrong) the left has temporarily postponed their attacks on Trump (J-6 clown show was set aside) and moved on to DeSantis, like the ugly ladies of the View, the MSM talking heads and the Soros backed twitter bots.

Oh yes, and President Bush was called racist during rescue efforts during Katrina, because many died in the poor, black neighborhoods of NOLA. Four years later when all the data were examined, it turned out that NOLA with 65% black population showed 51% of the dead from all storm related causes were blacks, and it was the elderly that were most vulnerable. That should have been the take away from that disaster. It could have been applied to the pandemic, along with centuries of experience. But no. For holding on to power, Biden needed to control the whole nation, and particularly shut down the churches while leaving bars and tattoo parlors open. Governors (like ours in Ohio, a Republican) followed meekly, trusting one science, but not another. Mayors of blue cities allowed crowds for rioting but not open churches because George Floyd was a good cause (for BLM).

 
In NOLA during Katrina and aftermath many of the elderly died when the power was out. In Florida, I heard on an interview yesterday, all nursing home and retirement facilities have 100% secondary back up for power. (Those fleeing in electric cars were just out of luck.)

As we merge lanes from pandemic to endemic

Florida never fully shut down for long, and reopened quickly relative to the rest of the country. While the mainstream media and the Biden administration blasted DeSantis, reality is, business here reopened fairly quickly for the most part, and recovered quickly, and the health issues, including hospitalization and death, were no worse per capita than CA which shut down completely, and kept kids out of school. It is my view that Fauci and the teachers’ unions did more damage to the country than the pandemic ever did. Many people died of untreated diseases like cancer and heart conditions as a result of the shutdowns. They never counted that. I have a tennis buddy whose prostate cancer spread because he could not get to see a doctor in time to prevent it. The Fauci ordered lockdowns did grave damage to the economy, and led to the $6 trillion of new debt we now have.

Were things left mostly open after the first wave, with certain restrictions and certain rules, and personal choice as to exposure, once the vaccines were available, it is far from clear there would have been a much worse Covid outcome based on the Swedish and Florida experience, when you take all the collateral damage of closure into account. Meantime the increased government spending is a disaster, and has created what many of us long predicted-inflation running out of control. The topper was the Rescue Plan in March 2021 for which there was no need other than for the money to be used to bail out Dem state and city governments which were in massive debt, and to illegally redirect billions to teach CRT. Meantime hundreds of billions are believed to have been stolen through fraud in the unemployment payments and PPP. If there had been a limited PPP, and money strictly for Covid vaccines, we would have saved trillions, and been far better off today. Had there been minimal lockdowns, there would have been no need for the extra unemployment and food stamp payments, and no non-eviction and no extension or canceling of student loans. We would not be experiencing the labor shortage to the extent we are now doing.

Maybe some more people might have become sick or died, but the trade was destruction of an entire generation of kids who were kept out of class, and real destruction of black kids who did not have good access to wireless service. We would not have the inflation which is hurting the lower and middle class and we would likely have had a moderate stock market instead of the huge runups we had."

Florida restaurant won't serve Biden supporters

A diner in DeBary, Florida, became popular overnight among residents and the international community after announcing they would no longer serve Biden supporters. They sold out of food the same day and temporarily closed.

I don't think this is a good idea. It's unAmerican to deny service due to politics. However, the owner could serve them a piece of cooked crow with every order.

I was a Veterinary Medicine Librarian at Ohio State, and one time I got a call from a New York Chef wanting to know how to safely bake 4 and 20 blackbirds in a pie. Swear to God, a true story.

Thoughts on diversity

A terrible sight watching the implosion of the rest of the Champlain complex in Surfside, Florida. Reporters have focused many times on the diversity of the resident community, some home owners there for 40 years. It's beautiful. But when they report on flyover country, Trump supporters and political alliances in their big money making stories, they don't comment on the beauty of Finns, Swedes, Germans, English, Irish, Poles, Serbians, Italians, Russians, Ukrainians, Afghans, Egyptians, Lebanese, Israelis, Palestinians, Croatians, Spanish, Welsh or the mosaic of nationalities that make up this great country, IF they are pale or Caucasian. The liberal media only care about skin color. Not culture, families, relationships, skills, not even history--when many of these groups were avowed enemies, yet now are united brothers and sisters under God and flag.

 
The purpose of the media is 1) to make money, and 2) divide and conquer with a dangerous political agenda.

CPAC, masks and Twitter

I caught an interview on Newsmax of something that happened at CPAC in FL. A young man with a twitter following (I’d never heard of him) had press credentials, and was wearing a mask, but when people asked to have a photo with him, he pulled it down. The Security asked him to leave. (Not sure how you eat, drink or take photos with masks--the entire Biden clan took off their masks for photos at the inauguration.) He thinks it was because of his t-shirt which said, “Arrest Cuomo.” Then he uploaded this incident to Twitter, and they have banned him. He says the CPAC event was in a blue county and individual stores and facilities have the right to control mask wearing, not the governor. Once Twitter found out it could ban the President of the free world and no one would stop it, it went crazy banning anyone it pleased. This makes Big Tech more powerful than Big Government, with its CEOs billionaires the richest people in the world. And not a one of us voted for or asked for that. But we did give away free all our data and they have imprisoned us with it.

The political bias on college campuses

Perhaps you aren't convinced college campuses are just birthing rooms for young Democrats?

Of course, I think these are voluntary contributions--public school teacher unions (membership required in order to teach) give 99% to Democrats.

Cyclist death rate highest in Florida

“The Most Dangerous Place to Bicycle in America. Pinellas County, Fla., has the highest cyclist death rate in the Tampa Bay metro area—which has the highest rate of any metro region in the U.S. “ according to the Wall Street Journal.

It’s the word “rate” that bothers me.  The rest of the article seems to use numbers and percentages.  We have more people, more vehicles and more cyclists than in previous years. However, for Florida, it has both the highest rate per capita and the highest number. The lowest rates are all in states that have considerable snow and weather not conducive to biking.

That was the most since 1991 and a 35% jump from 2010. The trouble with excuses. . .

If there were 1) no NRA, 2) a perfect screening database for legal gun ownership, and 3) no high capacity gun magazine [and there actually wasn't one], the Parkland shooter would still have killed 17 people, or more if all his plans and gun had worked properly [it jammed].

The failures, the reasons he was not stopped, and those people are dead, are
1) Sheriff Israel and his "leadership,"
2) the school board,
3) the superintendent,
4) the federal government "Promise" program,
5) the officer who guarded the perimeter instead of going into the school,
6) the FBI,
7) security guard who hid.

No matter how much you want it to be so, the anti-gun people can't blame the President, the NRA, the shooter's age, or even legal rifles. The result would have been the same if H. Clinton were the president. The difference would have been in the news media coverage and the social media memes whipping up the hate and hysteria.

Shooter Nikolas Cruz himself asked for help

Ready for Irma

We have a lot of family in Florida--my sister Carol's children Cindy and Greg and grandchildren, my brother's children, my husband's niece Susie and her children, my cousin Janet, and my husband's cousin Norma Lou and husband. And then there's my friend Jerry and her husband Jim, who use to live in Michigan and vacation in Florida, and now it's the other way around. A few days ago they were driving south as Floridians fled north.  Now they are ready.

Is voter ID racist

True the Vote released one of its largest voter-roll research findings to date this week, flagging more than 36,000 records in 16 counties for cases of duplications, death, double voting, minors registered, illegal addresses and so on. Maybe you're saying "so what," but this was Florida, the state where Democrats try to read minds in elections they lose based on hanging chads (a paper fragment when a hole is made). Every fake voter steals the right of someone who is a valid voter.

 If voter ID is racist , how was Obama able to get 99% of the black vote and the black voter turnout exceeded white voters in both 2008 and 2012? Two elections aren't a pattern, but if black voters don't turn out for Hillary, don't say it's the fault of voter ID.

Nobody is talking about taking that away from you.” Obama, July, 2009.  He had already backtracked earlier by stating he didn’t mean employers and insurers couldn’t take it away from you.  Then on the campaign trail (which is very speech), he repeated this lie.  If your insurance is dropped and you are reenrolled in another plan, you will have price increases and perhaps be forced to change doctors. He is such a clever liar—the government didn’t do that, the insurance companies did because they were required to follow new regulations (now 30 words for every word in the law).
